On 26th november, i placed an order on pizza hut's website and paid via mvisa. The money was deducted from my account promptly, but the order did not go through for reasons i don't know. However, there was no indication on the website, or via text, whether the order was successful or had failed.
After waiting for close to an hour for the order dispatch default time, i contacted pizza hut on[protected] to find out when i would be receiving my order, when i was informed that due to technical issues the order did not go through, and that the money would be refunded back to me. The customer care exec told me that the refund instruction would be given and that i would receive a follow up call to confirm the same. I would point out that on that date, the payment was showing against my account in pizza hut's records.
Subsequently, i did not hear from pizza hut, so i contacted them yet again on 30th nov, 2016, when shockingly the payment no longer showed against my account, and i was advised that i would have to request my bank to return the money to my account. I pointed out then itself that the bank would not listen to me, and that the instruction would have to come from pizza hut. He assured me that they would do that, and that i would receive a call soon.
Yet again, i did not hear from pizza hut for 2 days, and this was starting to get unnecessarily annoying and tedious. I called them a third time and informed them that my bank advised me that they would act only on instructions from pizza hut. The customer care exec (A sanjeet) informed me that i would be receiving a call within 5 minutes of my call from the customer care exec's supervisor.
I am yet to receive a call. I have also left multiple complaints on their website (Complaint no. 49579), and the website then claims that i shall receive a mail addressing my concerns, but i have not even received a mail confirming receipt of complaint.
I have never seen such pathetic customer care. This is to reach out to people in pizza hut to rectify this mess asap, as their customer care execs seem to be ill-equipped to handle payment issues and clearly the feedback system on their website is just a sham.
Pizza Hut India customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
I still haven't got any solution from pizzahut. The last communication by pizzahut was on friday and the executive asked me to get a calculator and paper as he wanted me to do some calculations (I've no clue what exactly he was trying to do). I asked him to call back after 12pm or saturday as i was neither close to a calculator not a paper and I was busy at work. Since then no call.
They have already taken my card details.
Please take some action here now, as I'm worried that my Rs. 563/-- are gone.
