1st order placed- 20:30 PM 31/Mar/2016
1st order cancelled- 9:15 PM 31/Mar/2016 (45 mins later)
Reason- Technical issue with site
2nd order (and mistake)- 21:23 PM 31/Mar/2016
2nd order cancelled- 23:19 PM 31/Mar/2016 (116 mins later)
I called customer care several times, waited 5-6 mins each time on hold, and then call got disconnected.
I managed to reach the customer care for the 1st time at 22:18 PM, 31/Mar/2016. The "executive" tells me that my order that I placed over the website could not reach the target outlet, where it can be prepared (which tops me list of the most ridiculous thing I've heard).
He assured me (recorded over the call) that my order will be delivered in the next 20 mins (the outlet is quite close to my house)
I made my 2nd call at 11:14 PM, 31/Mar/2016, and was told that the order could not be successfully placed, so they will have to cancel it. They could not tell me this, because calling back customers is not their policy.
My anger wasn't even directed at the "technical issues" these people kept on referring to.
My only question: if my order cannot be prepared/delivered to me successfully, why can't you just tell me? Will I have to call up each time and ask the status, and be told lies? Why can the customer care not man-up and tell me that they have a problem, and cannot deliver on my order. I would have made some other arrangements. Where can I now go at 11:30 PM to feed myself and my cousin, given that most restaurants are closing, and not taking orders now.
I was hungry, and waited for a pizza for about 3 hours, but it did not arrive. My cousin waited along with me, and remained hungry for hours.
Shame on you Pizza Hut! Shame!

Never ordering from Pizza Hut again, and I will discourage others from doing so. Terrible experience and extremely bad service Never seen such behavior from such a huge chain.
Pizza Hut India customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
I was shocked to receive a call from Pizza hut, telling me that they cannot deliver to my address, at suncity of sinhgad road, Pune and I must travel 3/4 kilometre to take the delivery !
When I refused as I had driven my car for 300 km in a day, I just didn't wanted to move out of my home, that is why I ordered give Delivery !
As I was told in curtly too take it or leave it, I was left with no options but to drive another for km to take the delivery !
My simple question is if you cannot deliver, why take give Delivery orders from a particular area ?
And if you cannot deliver, how about refunding the money, but no, Pizza hut ( hut, hut, never again) insists you try travel free kms to take the delivery ! Why ?
