To brief you on the issue, on september 12th, 2019, i logged into policybazaar.com portal to buy car insurance for my 4 wheeler ford fiesta (Ka03mf4323). I picked bajaj allianz as the insurer and filled details appropriately. But once i made the payment of ₹3, 841 the final insurance policy generated from portal had all wrong and random details. I immidiately reported the issue on 12th september and spoke with the customer representative and they mentioned that it could only be canceled if you can share the alternate valid insurance policy, and for that reason i had to buy another insurance from bharatiaxa and submitted the same for them to facilitate the cancelation and refund. The representative assured me that it will be refunded, but taking time due to high demand on insurance policy issuance.
3 months later they came back, saying that they cannot refund the amount because the copy i have submitted doesn't match with vehicle details of the initial policy with errors. And i'm not sure how they will match, because that is the primary issue that the policy had all wrong details when got generated from policybazaar.com portal post payment. Hence they are not facilitating the refund.
Now, it's been 6 months past 12th september, and i have still not received the refund for ₹3, 841 and struggling with multiple to and fro communication which is not helping. Hence would like to seek your help to capture this as formal complaint and help me out.
