Dear sir

I am a regular customer of policy bazaar, and have done many policies – 4 ulip plans, yearly health insurance, and recent health insurance for my brother.

I am very disheartened and frustrated with the way my hdfc life click 2 wealth plans were handled by policy bazzar. Your staffs have been continuously cheating with me.

I recently invested in 2 ulip plans from hdfc life click 2 wealth from policy bazaar -

1st policy:

Hdfc life click 2 wealth

Policy no: 22000341

Premium monthly: 50, 000/- (Monthly)

Date of birth: 07/07/1981

Eia no:[protected]

2nd policy:

Hdfc life click 2 wealth

Policy no: 22101229

Premium monthly: 20, 000/- (Monthly)

Date of birth: 07/07/1981

Complaints:

1. Around 1 month ago while i was communicating with policy bazaar and thinking about whether to invest in my first ulip plan (Hdfc life click 2 wealth), policy bazaar agent said today is the last date for payment if i want to avail some special benefit. He said i can make a payment now and think about it in few days, and if i did not like it will be cancelled. I paid 50000-. Pb agents called repeatedly to complete documents in order to start policy. However i kept saying i need few days and then i will submit my itr if im going for this policy. One day when i decided that im not going for this plan and told pb agent, then they immediately sent me a message that my documents are complete and policy will be issued. I told them but they did not listen to me. They said i can cancel it i want. So my complaint is policy bazaar was so desperate to sell me a policy that without my completing documents they started my policy. This is unfair. You just wanted to sell your product.

2. Anyway i thought i can not proceed with this policy, rather i would go for lesser premium ulip. So asked with miss anshikha (Phone no [protected]) who was guiding me for ulips during the whole process. She said the first policy cannot be cancelled but new policy can be purchased of lesser premium. I made a payment of 20000/- monthly premium. I asked her what is the procedure to cancel first policy of 50000/- monthly policy. She said i need not do anything for this, she will initiate the cancellation and get my 50000/- refund on priority basis. Later i came to know that policy can be cancelled only through my registered email. I kept asking her for nest few days but she kept saying no need to anything, she has initiated cancellation and refund. She lied to me and misguided me. She just wanted me to sell another policy. I have the records of text messages with me.

3. So far i have not received any policy bond. Its been more than one month for policy no 22000341 and more than 2 weeks for policy no: 22101229.

4. Finally when i explained my problems to pb agent, one female staff of pb called me from a landline no at 05:53 pm from [protected]. She apologized for the miscommunication which was done to me. She said they have discussed my case and found a solution. She said all that i need to do is to write an email to [protected]@policybazaar.com mentioning that i want to cancel my both ulip plans. All the money will be refunded to me in 1 week time. I repeatedly asked but the procedure is to fill up a cancellation form and send it through my registered email to official id. But she seemed so confident and convincing that nothing to be done from my side. Just write an email. I told her my free look period is getting over in just 2 days. But she assured me that no need to worry. I mailed. Now that phone is not reachable. My free look period if over and auto payment done. I am helpless and frustrated with the guidance policy bazzar is giving.

I have explained all the details to hdfc life services and policy bazaar. But nothing is being done. Now my 1 lac has got locked for 5 years.

I have just realized that policy bazaar just want to sell its policies no matter what happens. They do not care later if there is any problems. The staffs are cheater. Misguide a lot. Lie a lot.

I would sincerely request you take some concern in my case and find out a solution.

I have paid rs.13400/- on 03/11/2019 for term insurance through ur portal vide app no[protected] hdfc life click . The policy got rejected but i have not received. my refund till now.

    Dear team

    Its surprise, being requesting again and again, no one bothered to call back and send the hard copy of policy as requested.

    Its being worst experience it had happened earlier in 2018 at the first time of taking health policy which i had cancelled later on and took from another agent.

    However, it's my mistake after getting once bad experience, i again choose to initiate relation ship with you guys while taking my car policy.

    Its small small thingh which mattets for customers, i requested many times to send me the original hard copy of my policy. Which no one had bothered to send.
    Before taking policy your sales team call 10 times a day and after that forget all promises had made.

    I writing you to send me the hard copy only, and am unable to understand what the problem with your team to do the same. Instead they giving me suggestion show soft copy to police, if police says anything call us from there, what the hell is happening with nonsense answers.

      Policy bazaar executives and their automated calls buzz my phone at least 10 to 15 times in a day. It is a living nightmare putting out mg phone number on their website or downloading the app. To top it, it is not straight forward to deactivate your account. I need help to deactivate my account. Please help delete or deactivate my account

        I am not interested in buying any policy and even after telling these executives repeatedly the same, they keep calling 5-6 times a day. The executive's name is ashwin. He keeps calling from different numbers as i keep blocking their old ones.
        I even asked him to delete my number from his database and never call me again but he doesn't listen.
        Every company is liable to have an unsubscribe option on their website for every customer's experience but policy bazaar has a fraudulent website as they don't allow you to unsubscribe either from calls or messages.

        I request strict action to be taken against the company and the executive.

          I was interested to get the hdfc life - c2p 3d plus policy and choose policy bazaar (Biggest mistake in my life). They said go with monthly premium because if medical not clear you wont get money back easily. Once all done will convert to annual premium. Done the same once medical clear no one calling or replaying or responding me. I asked fore than 5-6 times for premium changes. But still i have not received any reply from policy bazaar.

          Now i came to know not possible to change. Such a fraud commitment given by customer executive to sale the policy.

          Always better to buy the policy from actual company instead of fraud company policy bazaar.

            Dear sirs,

            Subject - not able to get claim & any help from insurance company, m/s - iffco tokiyo, policy no. M5718514 - agent - policy bazar

            It is very unfortunate that i got stuck in these conditions of road accident & by the grace of god, i found very safe my self in those circumstances except my car got damaged badly from in front & back as well.
            The accident got happened on 18th oct. 2019 in gurgaon, near huda city center. I was in big emergency and some how by doing some temporary arrangements for front and back bumper, i got able to reach my home at bahadurgarh. next day i took that vehicle to near by maruti workshop (Job card enclosed) to get it repair as i believe i have zero dep. insurance from. Iffco tokiyo for my vehicle. Which i had purchased from policy bazar
            I have honestly mentioned all the details and situation in the claim form submitted in workshop along with the pictures of accident to the available representative. They had given me the claim no. 2-14hjac6d. Now even after 5 days till 24th dec. 2019 passed no surveyor has been deployed from insurance company. meanwhile i have called them multiple time on a toll free no. [protected], but i was not able to find a solution.
            Again a called the same toll free no. [protected] and raised the complain no. 2651623 but it also didn't come up with solution. Than i asked call center representative to get me an access to some senior/responsible authority they arranged a call back after 24 hrs.in response of call back from supervisor i got a call from mr. Arun gupta on 24th dec. 2019, but the response was same non of the function was keen to solve my problem. After that i got 2 new sms for new claim registration no. 1-1aoflkxi & deployment of new surveyor mr. Ihsla shaket lohan.
            Yesterday i came to know from workshop representative that the insurance surveyor is on the way and about to reach the workshop. I went their and waited long for him to come but no one reach there to survey the vehicle.
            Now in today morning i came to know from workshop that my claim has been denied from surveyor (Refers to trailing email). I don't know from where this new surveyor has came in picture who even did visit the workshop, neither survey the vehicle, neither he was deployed to the task has denied all the facts which i have face & facing trouble from last one week without my single vehicle to travel in my daily travel & official tasks.
            This is the height of service standards which i availed from m/s - iffco tokiyo after paying the insurance premium and living in a false dream that i have a vehicle insurance sold by m/s - policy bazar.

            Now forcefully i have to avail all the expenses on my own including the extra trouble & extra expenses approx 7000 during the travel of last week due to non availability of my vehicle.

            What benefit i got as customer from this vehicle insurance & policy. It seems the rule its like to be made to make profit to insurance company & agents only.

            I am highly dissatisfied and i want back my premium which has been paid along with applicable interest.

            its a fraud website, i received a call from 6291016807, who were trying to ask me my UPI details. the way of talking i came to know its a fraud. I think this website is made to cheat or for fraud only now i am not able to delete my post from here.

                Dear policybazaar,

                Its very unfortunate to start a conversation on such a terrible note, i hope this mail is being sent to somebody who acts responsibly and do not take customers for granted as some of your "tele representatives" from various non functioning departments take. My ordeal with pb started the day i thought of securing my future and that of my loved ones, for someone who claims to be a pioneer in providing the best insurance/investment options online you guys have proved to be a big zero.

                I want you guys to realize as to what extent you can force someone to take the time of their busy schedule and invest in writing a mail to bring my concern to you.

                Following is the pending refunds from your end for my non issued/cancelled policy booking id[protected], policy no. Op[protected]July 17'19) while your tele representatives conveniently lies to customers about the refund being provided within a week while in my case its been over a month, i want you all to analyze and be very specific to my following questions.
                1. How many calls/emails/app messages i've send to what your responses where.
                2. Since you record calls for quality assurance and training purposes do you refer to them or just sleep over it.
                3. The refund policy states, the refund will be initiated in 15 days however when i called today one of your employees very casually said sir, you have to wait for some more time since eid & independence holidays have come i said i initiated the refund for both my policies long ago to which the response was; it only got updated on the 8th of aug (It was very convenient for the tele representative to blame the holidays for the delay in payment) whereas your policy doesn't mention 15 working days.

                On top of it all, one of your tele executive had the audacity to call me and tell me and i quote "our vendor has initiated the payment, i am not sure it's not reflecting; i will go you a crm no. Please call you bank and get an update on your refund status". If that's not the heights of arrogance then i dont know what is. Instead of sorting my issue or showing any kind of remorse your employees are expecting me to followup on the delays, as if i haven't gone through a lot already.

                "if you guys can make me run like hell to claim my due refund when i am alive, i should leave it to god to help my family to claim my assured sum amount on my demise".

                I would also like to know if there is an option to raise a complaint against one particular employee mr. Mohammad istaqbal ahmed who has sold the above mentioned policy, he has conveniently lied to me and i have all the proofs (Messages, recorded calls etc), policy bazaar has accepted its mistake over the mails sent to me on several occasions but have failed to take an action on the employee or processed my refund.

                Strict action has to be taken on the employee to set an example to avoid other employees/agents from cheating its customers.

                  I have once registered on policy bazaar to know something about a policy. But then i got all the information i wanted.
                  but since then they are sending me SMS's on daily basis about registering for some kind of insurance with a date everytime.

                  Initially i have received calls from their sales executive 2-3 times a day for buying a policy.

                  If i want to buy i will buy it. they don't need to send me reminders.

                  Please ask them to stop bugging my inbox unnecessarily.

                  This is way too irritating . There is no option to unsubscribe from SMS's on their website.

                  Instead they have mentioned that "You can't edit this option." & "You may receive emails from us even if the setting is turned off above. This is because you may have provided an email address during your visit on the website.". Screenshot attached.

                  I will decide if i want information from this website or not. They cannot impose it on me.

                  while registering it was no where mentioned that i will be getting messages like this and will be having no option to opt out of it.

                    I have ordered digit general insurance through policy bazaar (order is[protected]. The details on pdf is not same as what I had entered.

                    The name I had entered is "Nagaraj" but on pdf it is "Nagataj" similarly email was expected to be "[protected]@gamil.com", but it is not. I don't know what else/ how these are changed.

                    I didn't receive any call from them even after requesting (from their main dashboard) several...

                    The advisor from the company keep on calling after every hour like ###. They should understand that the customer is not interested. Don't have the sense to do business. Please stop calling me, I'm not at all interested. It's a humble request stop irritating or the repercussions will be catastrophic. Delete my account permanently, I don't want to hear from you guys anymore.

                      I sunita dhakal have booked a bajaj life policy via booking id[protected] on the basis of phone call given by policy bazaar agent. The policy was subject to clearance of documents and sum assured was 6l and monthly premium was rs. 5000/-. The advance one-month premium amount was debited from my account at the time of booking on 25th oct 2019. However, due to non-avilbality of prescribed documents, i have communicated to policy representative to cancel it and refund my amount. My application no. [protected]. I have my refund request many times but almost one month has been passed no resolution is given. My regd mobile no is[protected]

                        Dear Sir/Mam,

                        I khushbu Pancholi, booked a plan with policy bazaar that is SBI E-wealth Insurance on 23rd, Oct 19 with amount ₹1500/-. Policy bazaar advisor said, " you will receive your policy within a week." I wait till 5 Nov19 But my policy not been issued. Then I call time to time to know why my policy does not issue yet but they don't reply as well as not received call. I was frustrated and sent my complaint by email to [protected]@policybazaar.com on 12th, Nov19. And again sent on 28th Nov19. They mailed me on 3rd, Dec19 for some documents like bank transaction details and KYC to revert my booking amount in my bank account. I mailed all documents to [protected]@policybazaar.com on 3rd, Dec19. The advisor refund will be credited in your account within 3 days but there is no refund I received yet. They don't cooperate with me. My money stucked from 23rd, Oct19. This is my first investment experience and it was rubbish. What I do now to get back a refund. Please help me out.

                          I applied for 4 wheeler insurance from policybazaar.com with booking id[protected]. I got a policy soft copy on same date of 04th december 2019.
                          Their salesperson forgot to add pa cover for 5 person. Since then i am trying to reach them to get it added but not getting any kind of response. Either i need it to be added or i need my refund. I will get policy from somewhere else.

                            Policy bazar acts as an agent between customer and the insurance company, which bounds it to intervene if any issue arises. I have an insurance from iffco tokio company through policy bazar. Recently, i had to raise a claim for the damage in my car using iffco tokio app. Iffco tokio, after assessing the damage, credited rs16815 to my account. But the amount which is to be incurred on the repairing is more than that (Which i got to know from the workshop later). When i told the same to policy bazar, they refused to do anything saying that it's between you and iffco tokio.

                              Dear sir,
                              I have purchased a second hand car from hariyana and registered in kerala. Before registraton, my insurace expired and i have purchased insurnce from policy bazar (New india assurance). While purchasing insurance, i have informed them that the name nad number changing to be done after car regisration in kerala.
                              After registering car in kerala, i have contacted policy bazaar (Before 13 aug 2019) and requested to process the necessary changes. I have provided all the requested documents on 18 aug 2019. And 60 rs payment done on 31 aug 2019 (After so many follow up).
                              As the process to be completed within two weaks, i wasn't getting any information regarding the above even after so many mail and oncall follow up. They were just extending the support date. Two weak before the policy expiration date, i have raised my voice at them by saying that i am going to give consumer complaint, so they pushed their team for vehicle inspection.
                              For vehicle inspection, i have payed 450 rs to that person. And i was expecting the new document before policy expiration date 28th november 2019 so that i can renewal the policy.
                              On 27th november i had talked to their executive, and informed them that the policy is going to expire on tomorrow. But he told that no need of renewal, that i can renew the same policy after the requested modification from policy bazar, i have reconfirmed this with him and i have the recording of that call with me.
                              As per the information given by them, this process should be completed within two weak but even after three months, i wasn't getting a support on this, now they are saying that this modification isn't possible. Even this made me to pay penalty on roads within these months because of not having the modified insurance documents.
                              I request you to consider my complaint, and take necessary action to get justice.

                              Please note that, it's been one month after initiating this complaint.
                              Without insurace, I can't drive my car in the roads. So i took another fresh insurance from outside (not from policy bazar)
                              I request to take action against polizy bazar and provide me a compensation amout for the problems i have faced due to their lack of support promised.
                              > The penalty/ fine I have payed to the RTO with or without Bills.
                              > The name changing process fee provided to them.
                              > The vehicle inspection fee provided.
                              > The communication charges, includes my voice calling, internet etc..
                              > The extra amount payed to get a new insurance rather than renewal.
                              > My precious time wasted to perform the follow up.
                              > Interest of all the above amounts

                                My self vijender, i have purchased a term life insurance, but due to some personal reasons now i want to cancel my term insurance detail given as below...
                                This is my 4th mail to policy bazaar about cancellation, but not any respond from policy bazaar, no any cancellation message, mail notification, i have facing very big problem about cancel process on policy bazaar, their executive cut the call during talk,....

                                I told them that please i don't want to take any types of policy, but even that they call me everyday...
                                And told me that this is their terms and conditions... What the hell???
                                If a customer does not satisfied in your services, then why you call them???
                                And after that, i told them, please, please, please, don't call me again... But they can't... So plz do something
                                Policy Bazaar customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
                                I had taken Car Insurance from Policybazaar. Policybazaar is a Fraud company. Dont fall prey to this Fraud company.
                                I have not received my policy payment was made on 9th november, still no updates no status cleared by customer care team
                                Claim department isnt initiated my claim i already sent mail at [protected]@policybazaar.com
                                i am taking followup since more than 5days
                                i already shared all information during taking policy but now they are not supporting me for claim. they are just making excuse only.
                                please resolve on priority.

                                    I had cancelled a four wheeler policy earlier purchased on policybazaar.com because I sold my car.

                                    The policy has been cancelled successfully. (After almost a month of email and calls)

                                    After all their tantrums they finally accepted to refund me my amount after deducting a bit of their fees and an amount for the number of days the policy was active.

                                    I agreed to it.

                                    Now the status...
