I have a rbl supercard and I have been paying minimum due amount for the last 13 months with occasional payment of higher amounts.
Now, the card has a due of 68797 and I'm approaching the bank to provide me a settlement where I can pay 50-52k and close it since I have already paid a lot of interest in the last 13 months, between feb 2020-march 2021. The person I spoke to at Richmond circle RBL Branch on March 25 2021 in person was Rude and unresponsive and refused to provide any settlement. Asked me to pay full amount and hand over the card. The bank should teach their staff some manners on how to talk to customers.
I need a response from the bank immediately with a settlement amount which will be cleared within 3-4 days.
I'm running out of options here and will be forced to take some legal professional help if the bank does not help me out from their side. I expect a response at the earliest.

      I recently became the new customer of RBL bank through Bajaj Finserv SuperCard. The Amount of Rs 720/- was debited from my credit card account for R Shield Insurance Premium without my consent. I came to know this through the unbilled Statement summary. Please deactivate all R Shield Insurance policies

        Dear Concern

        I had subscribed to your Bank's Credit Card which i had received couple of days before 20th of March 2021

        The statement generation date of the card was mentioned as 20th of every month accordingly the statement for the first month was generated.

        To my surprise Rs.999+GST was charged as Annual Fees which i received by statement summary as SMS on my registered mobile no

        This was contradictory to the promotional agency script which had said that the Annual Fees will be billed only if you do not make annual usage of the said credit card below 50, 000/- by the end of the 12 month (reference your bank website link - https://www.bajajfinserv.in/rbl-bank-platinum-plus-fyf-supercard)

        I also tried calling and explaining this to your customer service number[protected] where I spoke to Mr. Mohit Chauhan, the customer service representative and i also asked him to allow me to speak to his Team Leader since he was not able to resolve my query by understanding the concern to which he said he has spoken to his senior but the reply was same.

        To my surprise, Mohit mentioned that my card details are not updated in his records thus he is unable to help me in anyway which was shock to me knowingly that the same bank has generated statement along with 999+gst bill that does not provide its back end customer service department data to help its customers !

        Now I wish to have this resolved by
        Withdrawing the Statement generated which has 999+gst
        Reversing the amount on transaction of 2000/- in next months statement
        Billing this annual fee at the end of 12th month statement in case the spend is below 50000/-

          Today (27-Mar-21) morning I have got the call from [protected] for credit card offer and she confirmed that your credit card has approved with 4.75 lakhs, than i ask how its possible even i have not applied, than she started talk Rude and use some ruff word over on the call,

          When call back to her and said I will complain about you, then she replied do what ever you want to do, this conversation has been done in hindi, if you are recording the calls for quality purpose, you may verify the same,

          it is really not acceptable,

              I am raising this complainent regarding unotherise transaction held on my card today, by which mine 9656 rupee is deducted from my card

              trough the website ( http://www.rblcreditcard.co.in/ ) where i have to said by the caller that i have to reedem my points on that particular mention site where i have loging my details and as i login on the website my money is getting deducted.

              So i have an insurence on my card please take an action on that and provide claim against it.

                Two unauthorized transactions of amount 15280 INR and 11165 INR has been made from my credit card XXXX XXXX XXXX 8463 for which even I didn't received any OTP . As I receive deduction message I called customer care and told about these unauthorized transactions . So bank blocked my card and raised a fraud transactions complain and mentioned wait till 45 days. Next day I also made complain in cyber cell and submitted complaint copy to bank also.

                These transactions were made after issuing of new card for which I didn't made any request even when I received mail to confirm regarding the same . But I didn't confirmed still new card I received. I made call to customer care regarding the same they just mentioned we will look into this. After 1-2 days theses unauthorized transactions made.

                Now bank just replied that in there back end team mentioned that transactions has been made by using my card details, cvv email mobile number and OTP. So I will be responsible for lapses and I have to pay amount of 26445 INR .
                So my only concern when I timely raised this issue why bank didn't took any issue with merchant bank and reverted these transactions. Why new card issued and after my call why bank didn't took any actions. Now bank is asking me too pay for that amount for which I am not ready and I am not going to pay that amount.

                  The credit card team is truly incapable in this bank. Due to covid we were completely affected financially. However, we requested them to settle with the final amount to close the credit card. The credit card team representative promised us that they will close it with Rs. 100000/- and it is to be paid within one days of time ie., within 20th of November'21. We somehow managed to pay the amount of Rs. 100000/- on 20th November'21 & got confirmed from the bank that It is been received. Post payment we did not receive the closure letter hence we spoke to the representative who was in touch with us and we were informed that we should pay Rs. 330/- to get the closure letter. We dint wait for long, we immediately paid Rs. 330/- on 24th November'21.

                  Post this we have been following up with the Closure Letter we have not received it yet it is almost 4 months and instead of closing the credit card account they have been putting interest & asking us now to pay Rs. 25k due.

                  It was a total fault on the team of RBL Bank for missing out in closing the credit card instead of torturing us mentally with phone calls for asking the dues.

                      I am extremely disappointed to say that at the time when I received first call from RBL for applying a credit card from [protected] she offered me insignia card I was very pleased to know that you guys offered me insignia card she also confirmed that card is free for lifetime. Even I get a verification call from Mr Abhishek he also confirmed the same card also informed the benefits and also told me that we are offering you a credit limit of 4 lack 67 thousand. I told him that I dont need that much limit as 1.5 lack is sufficient for me and they both promised me that be rest assured sir card will be free for lifetime also 1.5 lack limit will be given to you. But I was surprised I again got a call from some other person claiming that he is from RBL bank and he offered me some other card costing 2000Rs as a annual fees. I clearly said that I dont need this card.

                      I am extremely disappointed with the way you sales team fooled me as I have also checked with executive name Riya who confirmed that sir be rest assured your card will be free for lifetime. I have whatsapp conversation too. Now please take this card back and if i am eligible then send me insignia card which will be free for lifetime also I need a credit limit upto 1.5 lack. Please do revert on priority basis coz I dont wanna pay fees of this card also I am not hapoy with the limit offered.Attaching the screenshot of whatsapp chat with executive who offered me insignia card.

                          Harassment by credit card recovery agents

                          I lost my job with indusind bank on May 18 of 2020 and since then some how I been paying all my emis and credit card bills till last month Feb, 2022 even though I still haven't got a job and have utilised all my reserve funds, pf money, sold the gold I had and also taken money from people I know.                             RBL bank is doing fraud with their customers and I am also a customer they deduct money from my credit card in the name of R shield insurance and I got no information about it. I belong to a middle class family and I can't pay that amount. They deducted 15720 Rs from my credit card I can't pay this amount my salary is 17000 from where I can pay this. Please help me please

                            Still no response from the RBL bank and also they added the insurance EMI in the credit card bill. I complaint on 17th March 2021 to the customer care of RBL bank to cancel that insurance but still not cancelled and I am more depressed I am helpless. I think you are not stricted with the bank that's why they are not taking seriously when I will suicide then you believe

                                i want to complain to you againt rbl bank, sir i had took a new credit card form rbl bank and after that without my permission you had started a insurance policy on my card which i don't want and had complain bank earlier also, after that the insurance is pre closed but the total Emi Amt. pending of Rs 13270/- yet but the refund amount is pending while Rbl Bank send to me confirmation that my insurance has been cancil and my amount 15000 is revised in my card ( 7297) but it is and pending now and my card apps shows me total outstanding 13296.86/- yet i want to close this policy matter and total refund also and due to this am facing very much problem as my both card are blocked, so pls take any query about this as soon as possible i want to zero outstand in may card as soon as possible pls make my card unblocked .am not able to pay any type of payment .either u can remove this card from my account .i attached a screen short for ur reference pls find the same and revert as soon as possible

                                  Hi i am Hafis Ali and i use rbl bank super credit card. I not buy any insurance on my card but r shield insurance is activate on my card and the premium of 600 hundered this insurance is deduct my card without my consent. I am not want any insurance please cancel the insurance and refund my amount. I am very thankful to you.

                                    RBL Bank has stolen money from me under the pretense of insurance, around 730 was debited from my account automatically without my consent for r shield insurance, as soon as this happened I called the customer care number and told them that this money had been deducted, they said it's from their side and they will cancel the insurance since I did not want it, what's worse is they don't inform the customer that they did this and that the customer has 30 days to cancel the insurance or else they automatically purchase it, I had applied for cancellation of the insurance within the 30 days period but then after 5-6 days I got a message that it could not be cancelled, so again I called and told them to cancel it and again they told me to wait 5-6 days and yet again I got a message that it was not cancelled, when I called again they said 30 days has lapsed and I cannot cancel it anymore, I tried around 10 times within a span of 3 months to get this insurance cancelled from my card but rbl bank did not process the cancellation, so now I'm so fed up that I'll pay the money that was taken from my account and I'll get the card cancelled, I don't want to be the customer of a bank who steals money from their customers, I never knew rbl bank was so cheap that it has resorted to these tactics to steal money from customers, as of now they cut Rs. 730 so who knows in the near future they'll cut Rs 10000 for some insurance I didn't apply, it's better I pay the 730 and be done with RBL Bank, I hope this bank gets bankrupt and gets merged with a more honest bank, if anyone reading this has an RBL Bank supercard then please cancel it immediately, the bank will do to you what they did to me, check online and you'll see so many customers have the same complaint, I'm not the only one, as for the bank, I hope you guys rot in hell
