I have the Mediclaim of Religare (policy no[protected], I suffered a heart attack on 28th Dec 2021 and was admitted to the hospital . I underwent two angioplasty and got discharged on 4th Jan 2022, at that time the bill amount was Rs.746269 and the insurance company approved the amount of Rs.600000 against that. Also the hospital took deposit amount of Rs.51900 (28th Dec -Rs. 6900, 29th Dec- Rs.25000, 30th Dec - Rs20000) as I have cashless mediclaim, the hospital said the deposit amount will be refunded once the insurance company settles the claim which takes 45 days . The insurance company settled the claim on 3rd April 2022 Rs.302741 against Rs.600000 agreed amount in the approval letter. I contacted the insurance company regarding this and they were giving me excuses like the hospital has charged extra so we paid this much amount only etc., then they told me to drop mail regarding my deposit amount refund with all the receipts, I mailed the same on 3rd May 2022. The insurance company did not respond to my mail so I again contacted them and they said that the hospital should contact them . So the hospital also dropped the mail regarding short amount received on 11th May 2022 but there was no response for that also. Its been 5 months still I am not getting my refund amount due to the short payment from the insurance company side. They are giving me excuses and the hospital is saying they will refund the amount only when they get full approved amount. Please help me out in this matter so that I can get my refund amount as soon as possible.
