My vehicle had broken down on 10th june 2020. Called kwid renault road side assistance. They asked me for the payment. Payment had been done. They were tried couple of time to connect with team. But, they couldn't find someone near by my location. Then we took the vehicle to service center after two days. Then they raised for the refund which we paid for the service.

    Sir/ ma'am,

    I have purchased a renault duster rxs from trident renault in bangalore. The entire process has been non-transparent, with optional items being added surreptitiously to the invoice by sales reps etc. I have had to fight this every step of the way.

    The final straw has been a delivery / logistics charge of rs 13570 deemed illegal and unethical by several courts and rtos many times over. They charged me for it despite my protests and after the ordeal i informed them that i will contest it.

    I made a complaint with renault and the consumer department of goi. Each time the dealer has give me a different description for the charges. From washing the car to local transport from the stockyard. I have told them that they charge an ex-showroom price and not an ex-stockyard price and therefore any such charge is already a part of the ex-showroom price.

    Now they keep calling me and they say that they will give a partial refund, accessories etc. Which is an acceptance that the original charge is not a legitimate charge.

    They have also told me that all renault dealers charge this, which implies that renault is complicit in this illegal, unethical practice to make an extra buck.

    I have informed them that i will hold out for nothing less than a complete refund and to remove the charge for all customers in the future.

      Sir/ Ma'am,

      I just bought a DUSTER RXS from Trident Renault in Bangalore. Despite my protests, they insisted on charging Delivery Charges to the tune of Rs.13570.

      They have included registration and number plate charges very surreptitiously in this charge. But all the legitimate charges put together is only around 2500 rupees. Each time they have given a new explanation for the remaining charges - ranging from washing the car to local transport etc.

      Several court verdicts have categorically stated and RTOs around the country have acknowledged that dealers cannot charge logistics charges. Now the dealer is saying that he can refund some of it, which means he was wrong to charge it in the first place.

      He also says that all Renault Dealers charge this. Am I to assume that an MNC like Renault is complicit in this unethical and illegal malpractice? I have made several complaints to Renault, and each time they are passing it off to the dealer. Each day he calls me and says that he can compensate some of it or give me accessories for a portion of that money.

      This entire process has been totally non-transparent and involved several moments when they have tried to pull wool over my eyes including not disclosing optional items and originally billing it. It seems to me that I cannot buy a Renault Vehicle in a reasonably honest way.

      I have already everything that is due including this Delivery Charges fee of Rs. 13570. But I did warn them that I will contest it, not just for me but for all Trident Renault Customers. Surely there should be some penalty for both the manufacturer and dealer for such an unethical practice.

        I have purchased a kwid 1000 auto transmission car from muvattupuzha show room in june-2017. Reg. No. Is kl-44-e-3990. Unfortunately the car has some manufacturing defect. The back side of the engine guard is frequently slipping to the road. As a result i cannot use the car for long drive and for important functions. Each time your technicians assured that the incident will not happen again but the same thing is happening again and again. On 22.06.20 while i was driving the car thro thodupuzha-muvattupuzha road the guard slipped to the road and i could not trace it. It was night and heavy rainy. According to me the reason for the slipping of the guard is that the mechanism used is not sufficient to withstand the pressure developed while rain water entered in between the engine body and guard from the road while the vehicle is running. Your technicians are trying to find some other reason for that and unfortunately they failed to rectify the defect. They said that it is an additional fitting and not a part of the vehicle. I haven’t requested them for such an additional fitting at the time of purchasing the vehicle. Moreover why they fitted such an additional fittings which is not suitable for the vehicle?. So i humbly request you to arrange for rectifying the defect permanently and give me a written assurance to that effect.

          Sir,
          I am a senior advocate of asansol district court (Wb) pashim bardhman. Just before the lock down period the triber rxz model was delivered to me by your dealer smsg automart pvt ltd of asansol renault. As per instruction of your dealer by two separate cheque i have paid a sum of rs 6, 86, 250/- towards the on road price of the vehicle at asansol and rs 55944/- towards road tax and registration & other charges. Insurance charges i directly paid to the insurance co as kindly settled by mr. Dipankar ghosh dgm of asansol renault. I took delivery of my vehicle on[protected]. From the customer copy of the receipt dated[protected] issued by govt of w. B., state transport department, paschim burdwan r. T. O (Which i received from asansol renault office) i find that towards mv tax (05 mar 2020 to 04 mar 2025) a sum of rs 37, 744/ and for new registration rs 600/- and for some other charges a sum of rs 140/- in total rs 38, 484/- has been acknowledged as received by the dept concerned towards my vehicle being chassis no meerbc004l2033028. As mr. Ghosh was not available on[protected] in the office, i personally talked with the other senior officials of the asansol renault, who gladly assured me that the residue of my payment (I. E. Rs 55944 –rs rs 38484=rs 17460/-) after some minor adjustment for un-official expanses, will be refunded to me. Unfortunately within the next few days the lock down started and all official activities of asansol renault was temporary shut downed. After opening when i went for the 1st free service, on[protected] as i have also to install some original accessories of the car from the office, i met and enquired from mr. Dipankar ghosh dgm of asansol renault, about my dues of rs17460/- with a clear statement of the a/c, who asked for some time for finalizing the dues and on[protected] send me a massage in my whatsapp, from the phone no [protected] as “sir, we can adjust up to rs 4000/-“, which prompt me to place the aforesaid facts and figure to you for an effective and equitable remedy to my grievance, so that i can get my just dues of rs 17460/ at the earliest and can avoid further litigation.
          Sir, as a genuine customer and a member of “renault family” i expect your early action. I am ready to furnish all documents and phone recordings..

            Recently, I have purchased a BS6 Renault Kwid car at BANNARIAMMAN AUTOMOBILE, Thiruchirappalli. Initially they spoke attractively about their offer. They promised to provide the basic accessories to the car.
            But while delivering the car they didn't do it. They're not favouring the customers.

            I got more disappointed and I'm not happy to purchase the car from the dealer.

              Complaint is about a renault kwid. The vehicle was given for works at the body shop after a minor accident damaging the rear door. Following this, the media system was not working when the car was returned. On reporting this the service center asked us to leave it for service again. They changed the media system. Which stopped working within a week and was not fully functional to beginner with. The service center is now refusing to repair the same citing reasons that aftermarket speakers have been installed and that, the same voids the warranty. No such things were installed. The only speakers installed were at the renault dealership itself during purchase of vehicle. No one informed us of warranty issues while selling the accessory speakers.
              The service center is now refusing to repair despite the fact that issues from previous service were unresolved.

                    I have contacted (Via email) the renault finance team for the foreclosure of my 4 wheeler loans and they have mentioned the amount to be paid. I have payed all the amount they have mentioned and now they are not responding to me. Even not providing me noc and they are going to deduct the emi for the loan which i have already paid.

                    My father went to the local office (Kannur, kerala) they are questioning my father why we have foreclose the loan and the are not helping us. They are telling you guys have paid the amount contacting the online team and they are not having any information. We need to contact the online team on the customer care number which is not available due to covid-19. Now i am stuck without no help. Even i have dropped escalation mail to the regional team but even they don't care customer.

                      I had purchased renault duster diesel 110ps rxl explore edition from priority autoventures pvt. Ltd goa on 27/1/2016
                      Starting from the year of purchase i am getting injector problem every year.
                      1st injector -7378 kms on 20/1/2017
                      2nd injector -15337 kms on 20/11/2017
                      3rd injector -20339kms on 18/9/2018
                      4th injector 33431 kms on 3/6/2020
                      I am very disappointed with the service given by priority autoventure pvt ltd verna goa for their poor service as they are not able to rectify the problem which occurs constantly.

                        My car renault duster 110ps steering is hard. I gave my car for trident service in bangalore that changed steering rack. But still problem was persisting. So once again i approached trident they said steering rack which they had fixed has manufacturing defect they changed it for second time. But still steering is hard. I don’t understand weather they are able diagnosed the problem correctly

                          1. Frequent unwanted acceleration

                              Sir,

                              I have 2013 model renault duster 85ps car.
                              Im facing steering complaint for some years with this car. Its very difficult & hard to turn right while driving, there is a steering stucks during right turn. Steering stucks is very risky & dangerous condition to drive. When i approached tvs & sons renault service center, alappuzha, kerala, regarding this issue, they said, the problem with steering rack and needs replacement. Its costs about rs. 40000/-. I discussed this issue with duster owners group and found that its a common fault among dusters produced during 2013/14 period. This steering issue is a manufacturing defect. Automakers in foreign countries identifies common issues with thier vehicles & recalls those vehicles to replace that defective parts with their own cost. Its their responsibility to satisfy the customers with that particular vehicle. So in this circumstances, i request you to take necessary action to rectify this steering issue with renault duster as early as possible.

                                renault kwid water leakage a major problem

                                Kwid water leakage problem is a major major issue, i have had this problem for the 2nd time now. Last year the sales person at the workshop assured me that it wouldn't happen again, an and today it has happened again, the cabin is filled with water and the water is so much that it got into my shoes as well.
                                Also, the sales person told me it's a manufacturing defect and all kwid cars have it so i wouldn't recommend buying it i have...

                                Sir / madam,

                                I am an avid enthusiast about the renault duster who had made all plans to buy a renault duster bs4 110ps diesel here at bangalore during the covid lockdown have ended up with complete discomfort and disappointment due to services rendered by renault selection located at mahadevapura bangalore karnataka.

                                I had always been in search of an amazing vehicle of 110ps and as soon as i heard about the vehicle availablity in the renault selection located at mahadevapura bangalore on 10 may 2020 through the sales person, i immediately visited the location and understood the availability of 3 vehicle is 110ps mt model registered in the name of trident renault registered as ka04mw6110, 6115 and 6116 which were being used as test drive vehicles and were fairly priced at inr 11.75 lacs and i was extremely interested in buying the same. I still had few doubts to the insurance and the warranty of the vehicles and with all my initial discussions with the sales representative my understanding and his explanation of getting the vehicle at a max price of inr 11.50 lacs had been synced.

                                He further insisted to meet his manager to get additional pricing discount and i too was enthusiast on the offer.

                                Today when i had completely decided to book the vehicle for today by paying the booking charges and proceed with other discussions with the manager regarding to the discounts, finance options and delivery timelines, visited the showroom at their prescribed time by 4 pm to meet the sales manager. To my dismay they had hiked up the price of the vehicle shortlisted to inr 13.00 lacs which totally took me away for a moment and disappointed my plans.

                                All through the day 1 of getting the information, i had visited the location at least 5 times and the sales person never intimated any details of the price changes and was always fixed to the quoted price of inr 11.75 lacs. The response from the sales manager today was totally disheartening to understand that the the prices were changed 10 days ago and the sales guy had no idea about the prices which was totally a fraudulent behaviour expressed by the team blaming their management and finance teams.

                                Need your intervention in this regards to purchase of this vehicle with earlier quoted prices only.

                                Pl note that i had to got out of my all limits to decide to buy this during this covid lockdown.

                                  I am the 2nd owner of the car renault duster and got the car registered in new delhi on my name. Now i shifted back to my original state jammu kashmir. To transfer my car to RTO jammu after depositing all related documents, the demanded for sales invoice. I have been contacting renault customer care for a fortnight and even contacting the original dealer renault karnal, i am feeling that the renault customer care are worst in helping . Even an invoice copy of car is amatter of moon for them what to talk of other things. I am feeling mentally harassed at such a rude behaviour from a renouned brand like Renault who cant help their customers

                                  As I got to know your kwid model fails in crash test conducted by NCAP . Zero rating given to them by NCAP, then how can they sell this car in India, as there is no safety .
                                  How could they get the approval from ARAI.

                                  I am also a using Renault kwid, and i know the quality of the car, now I am afraid to use your vehicle as safety is top most priority for anyone.

                                  As this safety is my right and nobody is authorized to take it lightly.

                                    My self jaydeep chauhan, i was driven car from last 14 years, recently i purchased new renault triber @ 28 feb 2020, driven k. M is approx 2400 k. M.

                                    There are many problems, i never expect issues like this.

                                    Very noisy.
                                    Whole car too much vibrating in reverse gear.
                                    Engine is too small capacity.
                                    Whole vehicle vibrating when heavy vehicle near over take.
                                    Outside noice is too much, when i'll drive i've face of headache.

                                    I don't want to this car, give me something solution about this.

                                    Renault company is too good, but triber is not satisfied me as per my choice.

                                    So, resolve this problem as soon as possible.
