    water leakage in renault kwid

    Address: RENAULT- DURGAPUR, WEST BENGAL

    On 08th july 2017 the front windshield of my kwid was changed since it was damaged due to a tree branch fall on the garage and it also hit the windshield.

    On nov 2019 the same vehicle was sent for repairing since there was water leakage through adjacent area of front windshield and body (Joint area of windshield where paste are applied to attach). What i understood that the glass was not attached properly when it was changed....

    I bought kwid Climber on aug-18. While driving in 20-30kmph it's automatically running off, that time clutch, break and steering are very hard. When I am turn on with the key only all will come normal condition. Service team can't able to rectify that problem. I met an minor accident recently due to this problem. I was done my driving test with renault service. They accepted there is no fault in my driving. So I filed a consumer complaint against dealer. I want my cash back.

      I have a renault duster awd which is about 4 years old and lately i have been encountering a speaker problem. The media player is working but the speakers are not putting out any sound. Sometimes, the speaker automatically comes to life if i restart the vehicle. I have taken the vehicle to the dealer in imphal, manipur to look into it but the reply given was 'they do not repair audio systems' and i have to 'replace' the entire kit. I think it is a minor problem as the speakers are not yet dead as such (As it works sometimes) and the company is not accepting to look into the matter as seriously as one would have expected.

        I got quote for renault triber bs6 today and it has 12600 as post sales charge when i asked manager told it is the cost bringing vehicle to show room and also some pdi cost. Do i need to pay this amount. Please let me know. I am not satisfied with the explanation given by manager and also found other threads similar to this. He is saying ex showroom
        Cost does not include the cost of bringing vehicle from plant to hyd. Please help

          Dear sir,
          I had booked a rxt (2018 model) without seeing for rs.5, 000/- with the kandivali branch of renault. On verifying the vehicle, the same was found to be a dented piece and hence the price was re-negotiated. But on the day when i had to make the full payment, my employer-company lost a huge litigation, due to which the top cadre in our company have been asked to leave on and from 31.03.2020.
          In wake of this sudden and unfortunate development, i had asked to cancel the booking of the said vehicle and refund the token amount paid by me.
          The renault employee, ms. Tejaswini patil also asked to provide a cancelled cheque, to which i replied that the cheque given for balance payment be considered as cancelled cheque and the amount be refunded in that account.

          But there is no response post that whatsoever from any of renault employee.
          Is it that the amount will not be refunded by renault?
          Or please do let me know what is the hindrance?

            I took my renault kwid car to renault service center for repairing two months back in january 2020. However, the employees there said that they have less manpower and heavy work load, so i should come back with the car after a week or two. I took my unrepaired car back and came back after two weeks. But again the employees there did not respond and gave similar excuses. I since then, more than two months have passed, and i have called them several times and visited the service center several times but all to no avail. My car has now developed more faults due to non-repairing. As it is the only service center of renault in kashmir valley, they know that the clients have no other option, hence they are taking the customers for a ride. We, the customers of renault are facing hardships due to this.
            Kindly look into the matter and resolve the issue at an earliest.

                Hi team,

                I request you to sincerely read this and understand the pain point i had come through after purchasing the renault product and expecting a sincere remedy for the same.

                Complaint: the product is having a plastic (Oil filter) at the bottom chase. But this was never updated at time of purchase rather this should have been highlighted with the risk.

                Back ground : i was on a family vacation in my triber vehicle to karnataka - chikmangalur on 18-jan-2020. As i return from (Hebbe falls), it seems the bottom of my vehicle is hit by stone around 7 pm in the night where i couldn't notice at that point of time.

                As i drive by having fun with family, the car got stopped and it didn't start again. I was shocked and couldn't understand the reason. I called nearby renault rsa and with their help my vehicle taken to renault shimoga show room (Shreya renault).

                The trip is completely spoiled and i sent back the family by arranging alternate vehicle and i decided to stay back to get my vehicle the very next day.

                Here comes the heart of the story where i heard from show room that vehicle bottom (Oil filter) is damaged and as a consequence there is some problem in vehicle engine & starter. I was very disappointed but convinced myself stating it's a brand new vehicle and i have warranty cover as well as insurance protection (Bumper to bumper).

                Another shock for me is when i understand from show room the insurance is rejected (Stating engine protection was not included though no one talked to me about this at the time of vehicle purchase) and warranty (Which i heard covers for 12 months minimum) also rejected from renault. Now, i have to pay the cost of 50k to take back my new vehicle by solving the engine issue. Show room suggested to go for new engine for 1.5 lakh cost of my own.

                Now, i decided to take it up with renault directly expecting a remedy for the above issue.

                How come the product is having plastic at the bottom (No other products do have this). Is it something because of the product cost to earn customers?

                I understand there is a additional protection to cover that plastic product in the bottom which the dealer failed to highlight and their focus is only on sales and not customer satisfaction. I hope that is not the case with renault and you will value the customer.

                I personally provided positive feedback about the product so far and referred quite a few people to purchase this product and i hope i will not regret my decision.

                Note: i paid the cash and taken back my vehicle.

I asked but they said muthu selvam marketing man is paid my extended warranty but we are not need the extended warranty but he said it's compulsory so that i paid he said. Muthu selvam said to me when will you giving that money in that time only i issue your rc book. I said i don't want any extended warranty. But he said rc in my home i never give you. Show room manger was also no response. Pls help us

                    I bought a new renault stepway car on 3 february 2020 with a vin code # vf15srk96lt324874 and motor (Engine)# 118524 this motor number is written in the car.
                    But in the duty papers that i receive from your agent in egypt was 115193
                    I need to know urgent from you as renault headquarter in france if the number which is written in the car is correct or your agent in egypt replace the original engine with another one.

                      Very disappointed... Same problem as above and has not been resolved by renault.
                      Services team say - everything is fine... Or
                      My car alone has had this problem and no other vehicle has experienced this type of problem.

                      I bought a amt duster exactly 1 year back feb 2019, this vehicle has a shuddering issue in 1st gear, infrequently though, and usually on a climb and after the engine warms up.

                      The auto response at low speed is poor especially when i have to slow down on a slope. I have started shifting to manual mode on slopes. This experience of driving shuddering car (New car) is really sad feel.
                      And the service team has no clue how to arrest this. I am have been servicing my vehicle in kr puram service station - bangalore

                        I ujjal roychowdhury purchased renault kwid from your silk board showroom. From the very first day i was keep on telling your service people few major problems which can lead to death also but all in vain. The major problems are as follow :

                        First of all cluch problem... My car cluch is so hard to press but it was not rectify at all till date.

                        Second one was my car brake issue which is not rectified till date.

                        Third one was my car ac is not cooling properly and some smoke comes after few times but still this work was also not finished by your service people.

                        Fourth and most important part is my car suspension which noise was so horrible but your people are keep on saying its nothing major. But not rectified yet.

                        And today evening (16th feb 2020) 16:30 pm i gave my car to your service station for the last time and i want back my car in a good condition.

                        I sent so many mails from the very first day to the head of the department (Sales and service) but all in vain. I want my problem should be resolve as soon as possible. As this is question of life and death.

                        Hope you guys will resolve my problem as soon as possible.

                          This is asad parkar, i brought renault make duster amt rxz dci. Its been 2 years since i’ve bought the car i. E 27/06/17.
                          I had also purchased ‘extended warranty’ from the company, with this extended warranty, my vehicle is covered under renault’s defect liability period for 4 years i. E. Till 27/06/2021 or 80, 000 kms whichever is earlier. Current odo is 20146.
                          I have been repeatedly complaining of juddering for which i have been visiting various workshops since a year. I complained about it every time before handing over the vehicle for its periodic maintenance, they would keep the vehicle for few hours, do its routine service along with ‘clutch bidding’ as per their company’s standard procedure for juddering and return saying the problem is solved. Which by the way should i pinpoint about the staff in renault hadapsar, pune are really really rude and ignorant. I mean if this problem was not enough, i had people from the service centre being rude and ignorant as well.
                          Lately the problem had aggravated and vehicle juddered every now and then. I had had it enough and decided to fix this problem. I started taking the workshops to the task and collected the proofs of the same
                          The flywheel of my car has been replaced once in the normal warranty of my car, but that still didnt resolve the issue i had. Constantly still telling them that the issue hasnt been solved, i was still being told that ‘this much is all okay’ and this is what they quoted. On a long drive, due to this issue an automatic car stalled twice, shutting the engine off. And i quote an automatic car stalling twice.
                          I revisited the workshop and the technician said, “we agree to the problem but we are not able to solve it, our core team is working on the issue elsewhere. Till then you will have to bear with the issue.”
                          And now these people tell me that your extended warranty cannot be claimed for the same part again. Ive been telling the people at the service centre again and again, but due to their negligence i have to suffer.
                          I really hope you look into this issue because its a shame for a such a service being provided by a big auto industry that i have to contact the consumer complaints as a last resort. Trust me this is my last resort. Hope to hear from you asap.

                            Recently (August 11 2019) i have purchased the renault kwid climber car (Py 01 cv 6636 ) from your dealership (Pondicherry branch - moolakulam). Unfortunately the vehicle has met an accident on 5th jan 2020, so i handover the vehicle into their yard for repair on 8th jan 2020 and all my document work for insurance coverage were completed and the same got approved on 13th jan 2020 itself. Over a month time has elapsed but the vehicle have not been delivered so far. Whenever i called the executives, the response was not proper. When i go in person they said will deliver the car soon. I faced the same response for every time. For last two weeks, i have requested them that i need the car by 14/02/2020 due to my personal commitment and they also assured to deliver it by mentioned date as all their parts for repair are came already.

                            Also i confirmed the same by this monday[protected] and they were promised as the vehicle will ready by friday (14.02.2020). But when i called today, they simply said that the vehicle is not ready yet that need to order a part newly. we have been to a great inconvenience through this long delay. Even when i request the executive to speak with their manager they simply said that he is busy so not able to connect with him. We didn't face this kind of worst response from any showroom still. More than a delay, the response from the executives make us annoyed.
                            We regret the fact that neither consignment nor any message has been received by us about the status.

                            Even i have paid the dues for last two months but there is no use of my vehicle even for my personal commitment because of their delay. Please look into this problem and take necessary action asap.

                              My vehicle renault duster is serviced regularly at renault authorised benchmark navi mumbai workshop, i had send my vehicle for small work for tightening of mounting stud for engine cover. First the staff was not agreeing that they have done this work, then after showing them old invoice & arguing for 1 hour he agreed to do the needful.

                              Then one of their senior person ask us to do clip tool scan of vehicle for better performance @ inr 1000/-. We agreed as we thought it will do better tune up of vehicle. But after the scan tool was connected vehicle was complete break down, now they say a 50000 fuel pump is not working.

                              We have replaced this fuel from renault just one year back, how can it be damaged so early, how can a fuel pump get complete shut down only after connecting scan / clip tool.

                              We want renault to throughly investigate what went wrong after my car was connected to this scanning tool at work shop.

                                Its almost 10 days, i had got my vehicle delivered. My vehicle pulls to left from the day one i had got it delivered. Checked wheel alignment thrice, wheel balancing once, wheel rotation once and still the problem isnt rectified.

                                I had been informed from the kun renault service centre that "it is very common for all the dusters to pulls towards left".

                                  I have bought kwid in july 2016. I am facing problem in my car since then.
                                  Service centre also not up-to expectations
                                  Only they keep on changing parts and charging. From first service my complaint was about non functional horn, petrol smell in car. They never bothered to rectify. After 2 years it's silencer was changed now fuel pump they changed. It's al done wen it's chargeable. Kindly register my complaint. I have wasted lot of money in maintenance wen it has only 12000 run.

                                    Hi renuld team, i have book a white kwid in bijnor renuld showroom by the name of harjeet chaudhary in 22/12/2019, with the rs-2 lack. But after some time renuld consulted person dharmendra tyagi told me that whit kwid not available and same person cometment me that your finance will be approved by renuld finance at the time of my booking but after few days he told me that you’ finance is not approved by renuld and many more issues by the staff behaviour i have canceled my kwid on date 28/1/2020. But my refund amount 2lack not recive till now i have many time call to dharmendra and other staff like gm but he did not receive my call and not responding me. So i request to you you take a legal action against the showroom. And dharmendra. And help me for refund my money. Puneet kumar-[protected]

                                      I have given my vehicle at gragson automobile bhubaneswar for heating issue 2times and third time i have given for same issue and they are telling it has engine issue and now i am not covering my warranty period though my vehicle has 5yrs of extended warranty.
                                      I just want to inform you that for heating issue i have given my vehicle two times at nayapali, bhubaneswar service station and they were doing servicing for same and charging 6k-7k. If the issue was not recognised and it’s remains even after servicing then for what i have been charged.
                                      Now about internal issue happened to engine due to heating issue, if heating cause damage to internal part of engine, so my primary problem was heating issue, what was cause for same i didn’t got. And heating issue was informed every time via phone to service manager and untill the red indicator shows no one tell us to come. Even after the servicing test drive of 2km when fan was running longer time after switching off the engine i asked why it’s running for longer but i was told it’s normal.

                                      Coming back to my warranty issue, i have a 5yr warranty service period, and you are raising that i have not done 30k servicing. But issue is when i called your service station for 30k servicing they told me that they have servicing camp at cuttack showroom and no need to travel here, you can do here. So my driver did the same, it was told that though it’s a service camp, the bill and details will be updated next day at nayapali service station only. And i have notice in next servicing that it has not updated and i have raised the issues with every service manager when ever i did my servicing. So it’s true that in name of winter camp i have been cheated and now you are denying my warranty.
                                      More over if you go by logic, i have done all service at your station with no comparison with servicing valuation why will i left a 30k service.

                                      So here with i have raised my point, even i have raised the issue at renault customer service and renault complaint handeling team, i m very much dissatisfied and feeling cheated with the kind of service given by gragson auto mobile and even more unhappy with the vehicle performance sold by renault india. I will request you kindly consider my warranty and do repair my vehicle in a customer satisfaction manner.
