I am P.S R S SARMA working at Hyundai motor india engineering Pvt Ltd as an Assistant Manager.I have been using Classic 350 cc vehicle since 2 1/2 years.Recently 20 days back i have gien my vehicle for servicing at Royal Enfield (Kompally branch).For that serviving particularly they charged 9000/- for general servicing and changing of spare parts like chain, chain sprockets, break liners, and for vehicle front and rear wheel alignments.after servicing i found different sounds from my vehicle while changing gears and while applying breaks, my battery got discharged, then i have gone to the service center and complained regarding that.they took my vehicle and told that it takes 2 more days to resolve.after completing that again i took my vehicle back but the problems which i mentioned are not solved at all..since then i took my vehicle for 2 more times to them, the same thing got repeated.Atlast 4th time when i took my vehicle again they told that clutch plates have to be changed .for that they charged 2200/- again and my battery got completly discharged so that i can't even start my veicle.Even after changing the clutch plates i found some sounds coming from by byke when i change gears.
the service of royal enfileld at this branch is completely careless and after servicing a vehicle they are not at all bothered to test ride the vehicle to check whether the problem got solved or not..i totally paid 11200/- for servicing my vehicle .but the problems in my vehicle have'nt got solved at all

After registring a complaint, I got a cal from SVR engineering (royal enfield service center), I took my byke to them.They checked the complete vehicle for fifth time and again they asked me to change the bushes in front shock absorber (Rs1150/-) and completely replace the rear suspensions .Iam so surprised that before giving my byke to their service center my vehicle has very few problems after their servicing lot of problems started in my vehicle costing me more than 15000 at once.
If i question them regarding the new problems araised, they are obviously saying that Royal enfield vehicles have more complaints these days and the vehicles are more delicate when compared to older ones.
I have been using it since 21/2 years and i didnt expect to change the complete rear suspension as my vehicle ran under single hand since all these days.
*****The servive center lacks experienced technicians who are capable of solving problems rather than doing general servicing*****.
Till date i spent 11200/- for a single service, but no problem in my vehicle got solved which i mentioned them initially.
*****Problems existing in my vehicle after 4 TIMES servicing are :
1) Oil leakage
2) Front vibrations (mentioned at the tym of servicing, Now this time they are asking me to change the front suspension bushes)
3) Vehicle wiring problem ( After replacing new battery in my vehicle it got started)
4)When applying 1st gear sounds come fro gear box(for this they replaced cluctch plates ans pressure plates(Rs 2200/-)eventhough the proble exists)
****ice center people told that they charge xtra money will be charged to solve these problems***
******Bought Royal enfield byke with very high expectations but these kind of worst servicng and Problems in byke suppressing them all*******.

my problem has been addressed partially. the issue of kick has been addressed to (some spares replaced and i have not been billed, other than rs 50.00 levied by the workshop for reasons unknown). the kick is still tight/hard but lot better than the earlier set up. also i have been made to know that the kicks of 500 cc bikes are little hard which a reasoning to which i have agreed to.
now for the second issue of the rusting of accessories (nuts and bolts for leg guard and back rest), the response by workshop people was that as the accessories are local and not provided by royal enfield, they are not replaceable. my point is i have bought a bike of royal enfield and the accessories were provided and charged by one of royal enfield's authorised outlet. why should i not be given genuine accessories (rust free) as other outlets provide and why will royal enfield not take responsibility of the items provided. now i have a doubt that perhaps even the leg guard is of dubious quality.
for the second issue workshop personnel shri avik promised to send down someone to replace (if agreed to by proprietor of Country Motors) yesterday. i understand that there may be commitments due to which adhering to time may not have been possible. even i am ready to wait, but what i am looking for is a confirmation that the issue will be addressed.
i have informed mr anand srivastava (who had called on behalf of royal enfield) of the same who repeated the same local fittings issue which is not acceptable to me. also as he has expressed his inability to respond by sms which has been my mode of communication as i am not into needless calling and follow ups for no fault of mine. i am not interested in communicating with him any further.
