Dear sir,
Samsung tv model no.32m5570 was bought on 5oct.2017 for rs.39000 from samsung brand shop, shimla (Hp). Product was demonstrated on 6 oct.in evening, service engineer left my home at 8 pm keeping the tv in running condition which was switched off by me at 10pm before sleep. Next morning on 7 oct. Tv did not turn on when switched on. Service engineer from samsung centre attended complaint same day in evening. He also failed to make it switch on. I requested refund but no action is being taken by dealer or samsung customer care centre. They asked copy of my bank passbook, bank statement, adhar no., invoice which have already been given to customer care centre but they are neither giving replacement nor refund. I am being harassed for no fault of mine

Complaint marked as Resolved Sr. Executive contacted by phone and email and informed that defective LED will be replaced by new one. Service engineer installed new LED and took away the defective one. I had warned that if defective LED is not replaced by Dewali I shall not accept any replacement thereafter, only Refund of payment will be acceptable after Dewali .Moreover, I had handed over all document to my lawyer to file a case on Friday 20th Oct. in Consumer Forum in case defective LED is not replaced by Dewali .This fact was also brought to notice of Samsung Customer Care Team. Sr. Executive Ms Rathore personally took initiative to resolve this issue at the earliest. I am thankful to her for helping me and resolving the issue before Dewali.She was very helpful and coperative.
Samsung India customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.

Updated by Augur I had to pay Rs.118 to get Bank Statement from SBI, and had to pay another Rs100 for photocopies, transport to get Invoice stamped by Dealer, and suffering unnecessary harassment for no fault of mine. I want refund because my faith in the quality built-up of Samsung product has vitiated due the present bitter experience. I dreamed of having a new LED TV in my home before Dewali but Samsung shattered my dream. Who will compensate me for the harassment I am suffering?

Updated by Augur Invoice stamped by dealer was resent to Samsung Customer Centre as they had objected to unstamped invoice. Another unnecessary harassment .

Updated by Augur Simply expressing regret doesn't solve problem, customer believes in action, result and quick decision which may give relief to him. This is not a new case, this matter is under consideration of Samsung team since 7th Oct, but team is unable to take quick decision on such a small, simple and trifle issue. Even a common person knows very well what is to be done in such a simple case. Customer purchased a product for a consideration to serve specific function which it failed to perform. Seller is to replace the product or refund the payment in no time without putting customer in any harassing situation
