I have been using samsung's flagship phone from note 2, then note 3, note 4 and now s7 edge. Problem started from note 4, after an update it refused to boot, as it was out of warranty, had no choice except to sell it for a price of dirt, used it for 15 months. Sold the phone for 4k no wonder the flip cover i had brought for note 4 was for 3.5k. No idea why i went again for samsung and brought s7 edge on 6th september 2016. S7 edge was working fine until 27 august 2017, then it started to freeze and reboot randomly at times when the phone was not at all in use, i could see it automatically restarting while lying in my desk. So i called samsung helpline and made them understand my problem, samsung executive cleared my cache memory and told if issue persists contact them. Handset was fine till september 9 2017 after that the same issue started. As i am working for a for a private company never had any time to go to service center, moreover now the handset become out of warranty. Then i started to get used to s7's behavior by knowing when it will restart so carefully started using it and now warranty was over didn't wanted to spend more money on this handset. Issue become unbearable from 3rd october 2017 handset started restarting every 2 to 3 minutes interval after switching it on from an automatic restart. When contacted samsung help line they readily helped me as my handset was out of warranty now. When told them about this issue, which started occurring when the handset was in warranty, they said they cant help me out. When said i cant go to service center as i have office on saturdays, executive said he can send samsung service center executive to pick up the phone and i have to pay extra for that service. I am in wonder, as this option was not conveyed to me when my handset was in warranty. When the executive came to pick my phone. I. E today (07-oct-2017) i informed him to check the handset as there is no scratch or dent and i need it back as it is, he showed me a pink line on top of my screen which is very hard to see or notice, this pink line was reported to the phoenix mall samsung store (Chennai) at the time of purchase (Didn't brought handset from samsung store) they said it's normal and this pink line was invisible for marathahalli samsung service center as if they are color blind, but while taking the phone for service now they can see all the colors of rainbow lol.
Wanted to be professional and thought of not writing so long about this incident but couldn't control. My question is, will your flagship phone survives at most 15 months. Your service center people can see problem only when the handset is out of warranty. Being in middle class buying a phone for 50k means a lot to people. Cant change mobile phone for every 12 to 15 months. We expect to have the flagship phone brought from you to run atleast 2 years. I don't want to behave sentimental but wanted you to know the emi is still running but not your phone lol. I need a good resolution or else will never ever think about your product ever neither my family. Moreover this is second incident, didn't react for first (Note 4) thought it was my bad luck. I believe my phone was in warranty when the issue started to grow but nothing much was done from your side so it's your responsibility to repair it at your cost not mine. For reference check my complains using my mobile number, when did i logged my issue. Please don't ask me the incident number and all, i didn't note down as i was frustrated with your handset, check it using the mobile number provided. Hope to see our relationship grow and a good resolution a taken for this issue.
