Dear sir/ madam,
I purchased a brand new samsung phone - (J7 prime) on[protected] from top 10 shop (Mira road, mumbai) for rs. 16900.00rs. This phone came with a 12 months warranty
Problem : after using it for only 2 months, its touch function started having problems. It was not working, hanging up etc.
Steps taken to resolve the problem :
(1) i went to samsung service center (Fraslin tech care pvt. Ltd) on[protected]. I explained the problem with my new phone and handed it over to them for repair
(2) as on date, they phone is still with the service center
(3) they are demanding a payment of rs. 6000/- stating that the problem with the phone is that "phone was dropped or has been dropped in water"
(4) however, i would like to point out, that the phone was never in contact with water/ moisture. I myself am a qualified it professional and am well aware of taking care of my expensive phone
(5) i have written to samsung customer support, but despite being in warranty period, and just 2 months into usage, the phone is not working properly.
Resolution requested : i have repeatedly communicated to samsung via mail, on phone with call center and verbally at the service center that i am entitled to have this defective phone replaced.
Please help.
