A letter from my father, emailed to samsung more than 12 hrs ago, no response from them. It is regrettable that samsung should harass a couple who are both senior citizens, in this manner. The names from the original email have been deleted.

I had called the complaint centre yesterday (At~ 1725hrs) more than 24hrs ago and spoke to -, he was helpful and assured me that some senior would get in touch with me, in one hour. But obviously they are too busy to attend to our problem, i had asked him if i need to take up the matter with some consumer forum, but he said that it would be addressed.

Dear sir, i had purchased a samsung tv, led tvs 40j5100 from “girias” in 2nd block hrbr layout, bangalore 43, in aug 16.

I have had minor problems with the set from the start, my wife first called the complaint center in nov 2016, but unfortunately did not ask for a complaint number and so though it shows on your system we do not have a complaint number. Now for the last 3 months or so the problems have worsened and become quite severe. My son had logged a complaint on jul with the above mentioned complaint number.

We have had the following main problems;

1. On putting on the tv, many times, the screen gets suffused with a purple colour. Then the programme also shows against that colour. We then have to put off the tv and put it on again, for the normal colour to return.

2. Quite often the sound system goes off while the tv is on and we are watching a programme, for no apparent reason. Again we have to put off the tv for a while and put it on. At times this has to b repeated even twice.

3. A small white dot (Led dot) appears on the middle of the screen. We have been calling the local office to which we were directed., ie. Samsung services at[protected]. Subsequently “technicians” and “sr technicians “ have tried to repair the set.

The screen was changed and the led dot disappeared. However the other two major problems have remained. One technician changed the “mother board” but with no benefit. Recently one - came and changed an l shaped, blue coloured wire connection. On putting on the set the entire screen was purple in colour again. He said that it was “factory setting”!

My wife and i have been speaking to the office so often. We have interacted with the multiple people:

All this has been of no avail. Persons named above have come and gone but the tv has remained the same. We hear that the head of the office is one -. He has not bothered to speak to us and the office will not give his number!

I served in the indian army for 35 years.

I have rarely encountered such callousness, inefficiency and indifference with other firms and service providers either in the public or private sector.

I hope you will be able to do something and make our samsung tv work well. I am now 78 yrs old, and when i got your tv set last year, i was hoping for a few years of trouble free service. I hope i was not wrong.

    A microoven (Model 731 kds sl no. 0344) was purchased on 09 apr 14 at durgapur (Wb) india. The machine was working well till 25 jul 17. On the day i observed that there is irregular power supply in the machine and for that sometimes it is working and sometimes not. I registered a complaint at samsung delight service[protected] on 28 jul 18 vide service request [protected]. Service engineer (Mr sanjib) attended the complaint on 29 jul 17 pm hours. Without opening the machine, he opined that pcb of the machine is u/s and same is to be replaced. He estimated expenditure about rs. 1800/- for repair (Mentioned in writing at my home documents). As i was not satisfied with his assessment and not agreed for repair, he left my house immediately. Very surprisingly, the machine has started working from night on 29 jul 17. If the pcb of the machine is u/s, how it has started working from 29 jul 17 night. Without opening and checking the machine properly, how can an engineer assessed fault on pcb?

      I had bought a samsung led tv model ua32f5100ar in 2013. I rarely used my tv and in total it won't have been used more than 6-7 months in last 3.5 years as i usually am not home for long. Few days back my display was not coming, however, the sound etc. Was fine. When the samsung engineer investigated, they said it would cost rs. 22 thousand to repair this. I was shocked because i had purchased this tv in 31k and now a days this kind of model from samsung costs 25k. I asked him whether anything else can be done or can be changed, he said entire display has to change and there is no other solution. I didn't go for repairing and thinking how these company loot us and make mockery of customers in india. They don't care about product quality or customer satisfaction and are just dumping third class product in india. I'm sure this won't be the case in usa where they have to maintain the quality.

      This is absolutely not acceptable and i swear that going forward i won't take any product of samsung company and i'll publish this everywhere to ensure that customer understands how this company has just one intention of making money and not ensuring quality of the product. I feel cheated by samsung and their products. Others should be aware of this situation and look for good quality product in future.

I am a very satisfied client of yours, when we talk about samsung the first thing that comes in mind is that the samsung in today's time is the most leading brand and no 1 brand. My whole family is using samsung phone from a very long time we have a7, s7edege, a5 and so on. When somebody ask me to refer a good brand for the anoriod phone i always say's samsung is the most trust worth company and a well known brand.

        But this time i am really disappointed with samsung. Why??? Because last month i purchased samsung s8 in black color, and was really happy with the phone and you people also gifted me a wireless charger which i received after 25 days of my purchase. When i started using the wireless charger, i found that its charging is really slow, i called your customer care and they told that i need to update my software after that my phone will be comptable for the fast charging, so i updated my phone and after some time when i was using my phone i realized that my camera is not working at all.

        I called your customer care department again then they checked it through tweeter technically and it started working and next morning again i faced the same problem and called the customer care again and this time they couldn't sort the issue so they asked me to take my phone in service center. I took my in service center they ask me to deposit my phone with them for a day so i did, next day when i went back to service center they told me that even after updating the software the camera was not working so they changed the camera then they come up with new thing saying that the problem is in motherboard we need to change that and i refused to take my phone back.

        I am really tired of all this, and very disappointed with you people this time. I paid 57000/- for this phone and come up with this unknown problem in just a month's time, after paying this huge amount i'm not going to use a repaired phone at any cost as the fault is not from my end. I want my issue to be sorted asap. I need a replace for my phone (New phone) or else refund me my money.

        Otherwise i'm going to take legal action. I seriously can not suggest anyone to buy an samsung.

          I bought a fridge (320 lit) from sales emporium (South), kolkata on 26.04 2016 for rs 34500.
          It started to malfunction (No cooling in refrigerator due to main pcb and d/sensor defect which was replaced on 20.09.2017.

          The same problem recurred in may 2017. On 30.6.2017 the service centre was called for. The service engineer states that the unit must be shut down and kept open at regular intervals to prevent blocking of the vents with ice.

          Is this the standard operating procedure for samsung refrigerators?

          If not i want a proper check-up by a qualified engineer, otherwise i would like to have my defective unit replaced.

            Hi team samsung,

            This is regarding my samsung note 4 phone. I have purchased two samsung note 4 handset online @ 32000 each. Out of which mother board of one handset dead within warranty period and second one with in 15 months only. I have visited your service center in lucknow hazratganj. On my first visit after checking they said it’s a software fault and on my second visit they said it’s a mother board issue and you have to pay 12k for replacement then estimate increased to 16 k and finally they said you have to pay 18k plus taxes for mother board replacement.

            Surprisingly the quality of premium segment range handset is unsatisfactory. I am ready to pay reasonable amount (Extended warranty cost) for motherboard replacement.

            Now m not getting any support from your service department and i have started sharing my experience on social media (Face book), public places, twitter and to every one who so ever in my contact.
            I have started advertising quality of your product. Should you buy or not. I have started updating my experience and review on gsmarena as well.

              Thanks for immediate action taken, but my new complain is service agent checked and said your old kit is OK but sensor is not working then he changed the sensor and machine ran OK . but said our new kit will not taken, after discussion with his office said our agent will come after two days and will take the kit then return our kit amount.
              If they will not paid after two days(Monday) then I will mail you.

                I am a samsung customer i bought samsung j14g (Imei no.:[protected]) on 10/04/2017 & it got complaint on 19/4/17. The reciever was not clear. And first service was conducted on 19/4/17 and they softwared the phone. On 12/5/17 the same problem repeated again the softwared the phone. On 16/5/17 they repalace the audio reciever. On 7/7/17 the board has been replaced on 29/07/2017 the phone became hang and i approach the same service centre they told me there they will observe the phone for 2 days and they give service accordingly as a customer their service center details given below

I need to get a call from the authority within 7 days. If i didn't get a respond from you on after 05/08/2017. I will move on consumer court with a request for refunding.                   I have always been a loyal samsung customer using all samsung devices. I had received samsung s7 edge special olympics edition in olympic's 2016 and the one time screen replacement offer is available for everyone who bought it on and after 1 october 2016. I now have my s7 edge screen broken now the new screen charges are 16000 as i have checked. I feel very disheartened as i have always bought latest of samsung phones like s3, s6 edge and now s7 edge no matter what price they come with, but i am not considered eligible for the screen replacement offer although i have bought the phone at a higher price than those who bought it in october 2016. I would be really happy if my request is considered as i have always been a samsung loyal fan.

                    Hi team,

                    I am a i phone user earlier so last year i switch to sanmsaung note 5,
                    While useing this phone i was very satisfied with feature and camera and all the things which have in my note 5, but there is some meager issue going on with customer services i believe..
                    1st incidence my note 5 display got broken with light pressure and it costed me 10600. I repaired from saumsung serves center which is located in sion bt verry bad customer handing and respond given by then.. So till now it costed me for rs 51000+10600=61600.

                    2nd incidence after using 4 months only it again got damage not i signal broken aria seems on tha display. I went to same gallery told them every think they are saying its not covering under warranty they have given only 3 month warranty.. What is the use of my phone now.. They said u have to spend 10600 again for display which is ridicules.. Because if i will replace diplay again it will cost me =51000+10600+10600=72200.

                    So what is the use of westing so much of money in return you people not proving any warranty garrany or replacement.in this campier to i pone has give me new phone only bcs charging socket was networking for that.. And in samsung m not geeting proper compensation.. No replacement not proper customer handling nothing.. At the end ma phone is lokend in cabbet with no use..

                    I have ma youtube channel i have recorded the respons and replay from them.
                    So will make a video on my experience with note 5.. And customer survives provided by them and will spred as much as possible..

                    N i will make sure at least it will not happend again with any one.

                    I have more then 3000friends on fb.
                    On youtube have more 300k people.

                      I purchased samsung charger model no - ep-ta601be on 31 may 2017 through amazon online. It is not working since last 10 days. Request change the charger. Warranty card has also misplaced. Kindly change charger for 4000 mh mobile charging so that i can believe on samsung company. Thanks. I am looking forward for your kind reply. Is..[protected], but after two visit of of company technician problem is unsolved, i surprised when i received sms on dated 22.07.2017 that (Your problem has been resolved and rs.0 payable) but reality is refrigerator is on same position. After few minutes got a new sms of new service request no..[protected] which is not register by my side, i can't understand what is going on.. I regular follow my complain but no satisfactory answer received by any side i. E your service center and call center.

                        Samsung customer care executive call and confirm to collect Refrigerator on 30th July and deliver under Wednesday at any cost but it's same false commitment as earlier. No collect as per commitment to now and no any repose from his side.

                          I have purchased galaxy a7 2016 in the month 23/03/2016. (Invoice enclosed).

                          Unfortunately my handset fell from my hand and touch and display was broken. As the damage do not come under warranty i got it repaired sai keerthika electronics (Samsung servicing centre) in srikakulam district, andhra pradesh, india., by paying the amount for the damaged part. (Invoice enclosed)

                          At the same time the personnel at the centre advised me to extend my warranty for one more year upto 22/03/2018 by payment of amount and i took it. (Invoice enclosed)

                          Two days back my handset display blurred and i approached the above servicing centre to get the fault corrected under warranty. But the personnel at the servicing centre said that it was due to internal damage as there was no damage externally.
                          I was shocked. It can also be presumed that company is deliberately trying to avoid the coverage of damage under warranty.

                          I have great regard for the samsung brand and we are currently using samsung ac, two samsung washing machines, s7 edge mobile, samsung j2 and metro mobiles within our own family.

                          Such disregard for such a loyal customer is unbecoming of samsung brand. Therefore i request you to rectify the mistake and get the damaged part replaced under extended warranty at the same servicing centre which is nearer to me. I repeat that there was no damage externally to the display.

                            Sir my name is sanjeev singh from bachan singh colony. I went samsung customer care 15 days before (11/07/2017) to change the display of my j5. A staff member named vishal told me if i did not demand any bill the samsung customer care offer me the display in 2500 which price was 3100. But i told him clearly that i want original samsung display with bill he try to mislead me but i refused. After that he told me if i don't demand bill it will be delivered within 2 days and if i want a bill it will be delivered after 12 days. I say that's ok. He gave me a token no 58 but not any complain no. After 12 days i called him he said due to some gst issue it will take one more day... But he did not delivered it on next day. I received my phone in 27/07/2017 after 16 days then i retraced my complain then i came to know that there was no complain related my display in last 15 days... So in request u to stop this non sense behaviour with customers...

                              My double door refrigerator stopped working two weeks ago and i complained immediately to the customer care
                              The technical person did not even contact and moreover came after three days. He left saying a part has to be replaced for which i placed an order, at that time he said it will come in three days and it is now ten days. I'm calling customer care everyday, they say the technical person will contact and there is nothing from them. My complaint reference number is [protected].

                              We buy from the company believing there will be good service and they assure us of that at the time of buying. But how should we rely on them.

                                My name anurag mehrotra. My wife pinky mehrotra bought a samsung tab sm-t805ntsainu date 21/10/2014 in 44000/₹ with two year protaction plan extra charge 6600 from chodhry interprises chudhry complex bazar ganj moradabad.
                                I have visited date 17/3/2016 samsung mobile sevice center c-8 pandit shanker dutt sharma marg opp. Police station civil lines moradabad to get my mobile phone repaired as i was facing problem of mobile going chrging problem. There was no other problem in my mobile. On my first visit to samsung mobile office samsung officials told me that there could be estimate of around rs.2000/ rupees for repair of mobile just for charging pin. I pay rupees 2000/rs and he give me reciving slip. It was manual not computer genrated after that i visit again
                                On my next visit to samsung mobile service center for recive my mobile but they told me part are not available. Till now i had sevral round of service center but now there was no response from the service center. I visited the company office to know about my tab this time company officials gave me a fresh estimate of rs. 5000/- along with a long list of problems in my mobile whereas there was only one problem of hanging charging. If my mobile is not on then how can he demand 2000/₹. Company might have done lot of experiments on my tab.
                                Now more than one year four month have passed but company is not willing to get my mobile phone repaired and handover it to me. This has caused me avoidable inconvenience, mental harassment and cut off me with the acquaintance which has put me to financial loss but management of samsung is totally indifferent and unconcerned to my harassment and mental torture.
                                I therefore pray that the company may be ordered to replace the mobile set and pay rs. 50000/- for inconvenience and harassment caused to me.

                                  I ordered samsung gear circle on shop. Samsung.com on june 16 2017, i haven't recieved my product from shop. Samsung.com and even any information also from samsung.com website. When i am calling the customer care they are asking me to wait for 72 hrs or 48 hrs. But i am not recieving any information from them. I want the details of my order. Hope i will get my order....

                                  I submit phone with charging problem in date 19.7.2017 then only mobile charger jack is changed but data cable of charger not replaced.. Then charging problem continue then another time i give data cable to service centre ramkatora date 25.7.2017 but in service centre my data cable not replace in given time... My phone and charger in warranty period.. And i given all bill in date 19.7.2017 but my problem not resolved

                                    my name ia manoj sejwal from new delhi, , i bought a samsung phone model no A-7 2016 from croma saket on 3 dept 2016 . on 25 july 2017 i am not able to excess my phone because i can see blue ink on my phone screen, , i took that phone and ask service center okhla to help me .instead of helping they said you have drop this phone and will not change the screen at same time they said if you want to repair your phone you have to pay rs 8000. my phone is still in warrenty and i have never dropped this phone . they said do whatever you want but will not chane the phone screed, , this is bad and rude behaviour from samsung team .there is not even a scrach on my phone .i will file a complaint in consumer court if imy matter will nto get resolved . i have already make to phone call and file a complaint and did not get any call back from anyone, every time just get assurance that will get a call back from samsung team, , my complaint refrence number is : [protected].

                                    samsung is spoilng their image or people are spoiling sansung image by their rude behavious .i will never bought any product from samsung .

                                      We purchased new refrigerator on 18.10.2015 from vijay sales gurgaon. Since last one week we are facing problem that it is not working. On tuesday: 25th july we lodged complaint with customer care. Engg came next day, on 26th and checked the problem is with sensor.
                                      This is quite surprising that in just 20 months this problem has come in from such a new product.
                                      We need immediate attention to replace this part (Without any additional cost to us).
