I had given my Samsung S7 phone to Care Point Samsung Service center in Jayanagar, Bangalore to check for any water damage on the phone.
The phone was in working condition.
However, the technician incorrectly thought that the phone does not switch on and re-imaged the device thus wiping off all its contents, including precious family photos.
The center was supposed to only check for any damage and call me to advice on a repair. However, they did not call me or take my approval to re-image the device.
