Dear escalation executive team,
I purchased samsung galaxy s6 in november 2015 through one of your authorized dealer in ghaziabad and also as per his recommendation additionally purchased daily apps insurance protection for my mobile for rs. 2000/- to get the expedited support from samsung.
Soon after 4-5 months o[censored]sage, i started experiencing the charging cable both ends getting hot, while charging the mobile phone and took the phone to service center (Janus electronics – vasundhara, gzb). To my surprise, i came to know that just 2 days back, my phone warranty lapsed 6 months and now i have to pay for charging cable, with no choice, i paid.
Also since after 4-5 months of purchase, i started experienced intermittently grinding sound in rear camera but continue to use to check further, but the problem continued to grow and also felt issue with signal strength connectivity and speakerphone issue. I than contacted again service center (Janus electronics) and was told that phone might require complete formatting along with hardware change, hence i took some time to submit the same, as need to arrange for standby phone.
I submitted my phone for repair on 8th august 2016 (Complaint – camera auto vibrate / network and mic issue) complaint no – [protected], in person to service center, rather than availing the pickup facility by samsung, just to make sure and discuss in length about the issue with service center technical person and was assured that they will thoroughly check the phone for all the issue and asked me to contact on 10th august.
- i called on 10th august and was told that phone is still under repair and asked me to now contact on 11th august as the service center receives the part daily at approx... 4-5pm and they have just received the parts.
- on 11th august, when i called in afternoon, it was really very surprising to get the update from service center, that my call was cancelled by samsung telling that they require few documents from my end – that was –original phone purchase bill, my address proof verification original and photocopy document and a bank’s cancelled cheque, i immediately visited service center and submitted all documents again in person to the service center.
- again called to check the status of my complaint on 12th august evening and was told that they have not received the part yet and asked me to wait for another 3-4 days with no substitute and solution.
- annoyed & frustrated, i called samsung customer care and the executive asked me to have the conference call with service center and discussed on the same issue and the service center person (Vishal) who spoke on behalf of service center said they have not received the part yet, to which samsung customer care person suggested service center to get the new phone replacement or refund.
- surprisingly on saturday morning – 13th august at 11:00am, i got from service center that my phone has been repaired whereas service center earlier said that they are not having parts till 5:30pm on 11th.
- again called the samsung service center on saturday 13th august and did the conference call with service center to understand what all parts were replaced in the phone but the person from service center was not able to give any details, repeatedly being asked by samsung customer care and finally dropped the call. Samsung customer support executive said me that – the case is now being escalated and also the complaint of the service center for their such support on samsung flagship phones and suggested to pick the my phone from service center.
- i collected my phone from service center, the same day (13th august – saturday with apprehension in mind that – if they actually has replaced the part or just did the make shift temporary repair, as the service center communication was not up to mark and satisfactory. I discussed with service center what all has been replaced on this, to which they said they have replaced few parts and also have properly checked the phone for all the issues and now it’s working perfectly fine. I also noticed that the back cover pasting of the phone was not properly aligned as expected by samsung service center.
- on, 14th august – sunday, got really very frustrated when i found while configuring my device that now volume up key is not working, and immediately reported the matter to samsung customer care and was told that this case is already escalated and i have to wait for call back from samsung as being sunday today and tomorrow independence day and wait to hear from escalation team.
- waited for the entire day - tuesday – 16th august, in hope to get the call from samsung but didn’t’ received till evening and again called the samsung customer support and was told that today call is now not possible and now will get it tomorrow in first half i. E 17th august.
- again on 17th called samsung customer care around at 1:00pm to discuss and get the update on my issue and again was told to wait for another 24 – 48 hrs with no solution.
Finally, when i again called samsung customer support at 3:00pm to get all the related reference data to document in this mail, customer support executive connected with me one of the member from escalation team (Priya). After having in-length discussion on the issue, again i was told that she would further escalate this matter and have to wait for next 24-48hrs for the revert and provided me the below reference id.

I would humbly request samsung executive team intervention in this and would request for new replacement to avoid any further recurring new issue in phone sooner or later after the warranty period expires.
