I had a problem with my airconditioner 2 months back.i lodged a complaint and it took 5 days of hot summer days to replace me with a compressor which was covered under warranty (only god and the service centre knows if they really replaced it with a new one or replaced it at all ). again 2 months later i have a faulty compressor...thanks to samsung..i am enjoying the hottest summers to the full.i again lodge a complaint with the same service centre ...they come verify it and say its the compressor again and blame the company for sending faulty replacements.i literally beg them to please speed up the process and help me with the process.its been 4 days i lodged the complaint and i was promised that it would be fixed today...then again after repeated calls all i get is a nasty reply from a cheap indescent fellow at the service centre that i can have my unit set up only tommorow because he declares me as a nonlocal just because i live in a place may be 25 kms apart.and the worst worst thing is he is dare enough to warn me not to call back and even if i do that call will not be attended to or their phone will stop working...what kind of a service is this????i have read a lot in their company home page about the ethics, the professionals at samsung follow regarding customers...i believe i am one of "THE CUSTOMER"..i regret buying any samsung related at all...henceforth i am going to learn from my mistake and will never ever have any samsung product because of the worstest of the worst service they offer and the people they employ, who dont even respect the customer.but still i keep writing all this because, i couldnt just ignore their promises regarding their relationship with the customers..really hope atleast a few of them will live upto them

    Yesterday i have mark the mail for your team but my problem is same, there is no response from your side. I think this is not a good experience with samsung team.

    Today i have received the call from your call centre and they will arrange the technician for visit but still there is no one can attend the call.

    I spend a money for best home appliances as per company commitment but it's a pathetic experience.

    If your team will not resolve my issue with in 2 days then i will take a legal action in against your company and throw away the refrigerator for your retailer shop.

      I being a consumer of samsung refrigerator want to register a complaint regrading a fault in a refrigerator and the services provided by samsung service centre

      model no-RS21HNTPN
      invoice no-S11/527
      Date of purchase-30/05/2011

      complaint matter

      I had bought samsung refrigerator as mentioned above. In the month of january 2016 it stopped working and cooling of the refrigerator was blocked. I has registered a complaint and samsung representatives took the refrigerator, repair the same and sent it back to us

      Again after 2 months the same problem occur and cooling had stop, i registered a complaint and the samsung representative from facility centre took the fridge. After one week we were informed that the fridge is not repairable and they were ready pay us 10% of refund on invoice amount.

      After several negotiations they agreed to settle for 15% refund on invoice amount. As per income tax act 1961 10% of deprecation is written off every year, considering the warranty period of 10 year deprecation of the fridge for 5 years is not more then 50% of the amount

      We requested the ceo help desk and suggestion centre of the company about the company denying to give replacement of the fridge

      Considering that the fridge is under warranty period and spare parts being non repairable is not our(consumer s) fault

      I requested them for the replacement but still there is no proper responds from samsung even i have called them many times and still there no proper response even they are not ready to replace my fridge

        Sub; Customer complaint No [protected] dtd 4/4/2016 .
        • Unit Purchased vide Bill No 24958 dtd 1/2/2010 from M/s Mahajan Electronics, 89, Raja Garden, Ring Road, New Delhi-110015,
        • The complaint was handled by Samsung Authorized Service Centre M/s F1 Solutions in Gurgaon .who declared the unit as unserviceable as one of its capillary embedded in the body had blocked .
        • On 11/4/2016, while seeing Samsung site, I came across CEO Desk for consumer complaint and sent my problem across and the same was acknowledged on the same day by Ms Shweta Sharma, Senior executive, Customer Experience, Samsung india Electronics Pvt Ltd.
        • On 14/4/2016, Ms Shweta of Samsung called up saying that she has talked to her senior and since the purchase is more than 5 years old hence no compensation can be considered . She said that the Capiliary tube is not available hence the fridge cannot be repaired. She said that she will be sending it in writing but there was no reply . That is when I learned that Samsung has only one way customer relation system of calling or sending mails . Customer cannot send a return mail reply or call back at the number called from. The only way to approach Samsung was through CEO Desk. What a beautiful CRM System Samsung has got.”LET THE CUSTOMER GO TO HELL”.
        • The process of calling was shifted from Ms Shweta to Ms Saptasree of Samsung as she called me up on 27th and 28th April informing that the Service Engrs are trying to flush the capillary and she will get in touch . It means the customer is back to square one . An excellent approach of company like Samsung to look after its customer . Samsung Follows a policy “ Of tiring the customer to such an extent that he gives way “ .
        • On 5th May, 2016 I recd a mail from Ms Saptasree which says:” We have set of expertise Engineer who give resolution to the issues post sales. Since there is an Internal Leakage in your Refrigerator, and the same is beyond repair and the Unit is more than 5 years (i.e. more than the Product Life cycle) we will not able to cater your request for Refund Depreciation .
        CUSTOMER SUBMISSION:
        1. It is High handedness on the part of a Large Corporate like Samsung to Use its Size and Monopolist leval Status to Harass the customer in first place and then take Larger than its size decision to financially hit the customer below the belt.
        2. The Warrantee period for Compressor has reched to a leval of 10 years warrantee. Which means that the product life is more that 10 years .
        3. Today the capilliaries ( arteries) of Heart which too are embeded in the body of a patient can be opened, how come a capillary of a refrigerator cannot be opened when a customer is ready to pay the cost . If it is a technical glitch then why a company of the status of Samsung adopt this type of technology . Further if this leval of technology is required and the percentage of rejection is less then the company should have a policy to compensate .
        I, Arun Kumar Arora, the customer, demand a compensation of minimum Rs 50000/-or 50 % cost of equivalent new unit which ever is less. as the new equivalent unit costs more than Rs One lac.
        Samsung India customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
        I have practically blacklisted Samsung and conveyed in my Social circle . Imagine a complaint notified to Samsung by your forum on 30th may has not drawn any eyebrows from samsung till date. This is how the Korean company treats Indian consumers. Indian Consumers were happy when we used to be loyal to Japanese and German technology but Korean have brought unreliable technology to fool Indians. I would advise Koreans High ups Not to test patience of Indian consumers.
        Samsung Customer support was notified about my posted complaint on 30th May, 2016. It is more than one month and no action seems to have been taken by Samsung. This is the way the companies like Samsung play with the sentiments of Consumers. Samsung should have Customer support department for each of their products --Size related to the no of complaints in their products. I have observed that a product such as Refrigerator has only 2 % customer complaints resolved. I think consumer forums must high light and try to protect the consumer from inefficient companies such as Samsung.
        I am a senior citizen of 70 yrs age and Samsung is making me feel that I am not even protected from high handedness of Samsung in my own country.

        I have recieved the following reply from Ms Rekha Tanwar from Customer Satisfaction Department of Samsung which is being pasted at the end of my comments. It seems that Samsung should re -christian the Department name as "Customer Dis-satisfaction" Department .
        If any one looks at the reply, it is very evident that the company is trying to brush the problem under the carpet and washing their hands off.
        What do they mean " Internal leakage in the Refrigerator" . The First question which comes across is that the user has not done it . In other words that there are other factors such as "Major design problem " which might have resulted in the internal leakage. The second question is that why this internal leakage not repairable. Once again the reply remains the same that the design features are such that once there is a problem in the refrigerator, you simply throw it away. In other words Samsung is trying to take consumers of Developing country like India to Ransom and advising them to spend heavily on their products and once they go bad, you have simply to throw the product away and reinvest in the new one . The best and beautiful policy of Samsung is to hand over depreciated value ( Based on Maximum life of 5 years ) to the consumer . Samsung is least bothered and does not understand that the product has already appreciated twice the value during that period. For example my refrigerator cost me Rs 70000/- in 2010 and after 5 years (as per Samsung) its value is ZERO whereas the similar product of Samsung cost Rs 100000/- in the market after 5 years .
        The most important question is that Can we afford to replace Refrigerator after 5 years . The answer is Big NO. Yes of course we can afford to get it repaired at a cost in case the warranty of the part is over .
        I am giving another example of High Handedness on the part of Samsung . The company is giving 10 yrs warranty for the Compressor used in refrigerator . It clearly means that Compressor being an heart of refrigerator, the life of the Refrigerator is being aimed at 10 yrs . The R&D department of Samsung must be ensuring that other Operational parts of the Refrigerator must give full support to the Compressor and donot allow the unit to be unserviceable during the warranty period of Compressor.
        I am a hard core Techno Commercial Professional and has always served the consumer and I am surprised to see the unprofessional / unethical/Non-technical stand which samsung has taken to resolve the claim by looking after their own interest only with the attitude that let the consumer GO TO HELL.
        I am producing the reply of Samsung recd by me on 8th July 2016. which collabrates my opinion as indicated in my comments. I would advise Samsung Management team to look into this case once again . As far as I am concerned this case remains unresolved and I am still free to take it up further to safe guard my interests . I once again wish to mention that I am a Senior Citizen of 70 yrs and cannot afford a luxury of buying another equivalent Refrigerator.

        First time I posted this complaint was on 27th May, 2016 and Samsung tried to hood wink with their reply on 8th July, 2016 . This is what Samsung is like . They have a smart & Large Distribution Network but Very Poor in service Back up. Lately their Refrigerators are having Technical problems and Samsung is not prepared to accept it . They are driving the customer/consumer crazy with an attitude of " We donot care ". They know the weakness of our consumer redress system . A company with a consumer satisfaction rating of 4% should be banned to sell the product in a developing nation like ours .
        Samsung must have the courtesy to redress my problem .
        I wish to know the status of my complaint in the records of Samsung whether RES0LVED or NOT RESOLVED .
        I have observed that the cases like mine which are not resolved are shown by Samsung as resolved .
        Samsung feels that Unilateral decision of theirs whether acceptable to consumer or not falls in the category of Resolved .
        In my case the Samsung had given Unilateral decision for which I have filed a complaint .
        MY CASE STILL REMAINS UNRESOLVED .

          My 3 years old child unexpectedly wiped my Samsung 32 inch LCD TV by wet cloth and display was not working. Then I complained customer care to the toll free number [protected] and registered. Local Madurai service person contacted me over phone on next day and inquired about the issue. I explained as above. He immediately said that your display has damaged due to water and you have to replace. I said, " sir, please come to my house and see the issue and then you say what next". He came to my house along with another technician. Both told me that we have to bring the TV to Service Centre and Panel cost will be Rs.19, 000/-. We shocked . I asked the technician to just open the TV and try to repair. They opened and cleaned the TV after our compulsion. They said, Panel is the problem and you must replace the same. I informed them that we will call you later.They gave a bill for Rs.683/ just for opening . This is Samsung service charge .

          Using Common Sense: I bring the TV outside and dried the same in Sun light for 2 hours and then I switched on the TV inside of my house and gently knocked the bottom of the TV besides on/off button. What a surprise? display is working very very clear.

          Lesson: 1. Use common Sense and try to solve yourself
          2. Don't trust Samsung Service Centre at any stage

            With reference to excessive cooling there was Iceing formation in my double door fridge. This was compliant in customer care and after repaires I found that said fridge is not cooling like earlier. Earlier it was dam chill within an hour now it is taking almost 12 hrs to get that performance. Similar experince I has with same agency during repairs of my Air conditioner and he did not returned my old compressor when it was replaced by a new one and charged even within warranty.As per verbal information only insulin material -thermocol type is changed . But in the bill it is mentioned Modification . WHile asking they say it is their standard practice. I am sure that my original compressor has been changed. I want to restore it back along with resolving my previous complaint for AC.

              We have purchased a refrigerator model rt42k5068gl having serial no.0dck4dah300071a from city electronics (Samsung plaza) 85, navyug market, near pnb, ghaziabad up 201001, mobile [protected] on dated 17.04.2016. The refrigerator was installed after 3-4 days. After installation it was felt that the refrigerator section (I. E. Bottom portion) of the refrigerator is not working properly. Its cooling was less and the vegetables were getting spoiled even after keeping the cooling knob at maximum position i. E. Position 5. The same was intimated to the above shop owner after a week. They informed that the engineer will visit but despite of repeated chasing the engineer didn't turn up even after the elapse of one week. Finally the shop informed us to lodge our complaints in the toll free no.[protected] of samsung complaints.

              On making complaints to the tool free no. (Reference no. [protected], [protected]), it was suggested that for efficient cooling of the bottom section, the knob of the freezer section to be kept at optimum position and the knob in the bottom section is to set at maximum position (I. E. 5) then only the bottom portion i. E. Refrigerator section of the refrigerator will work efficiently. I have informed them that this was not informed by the shop when we were purchasing the refrigerator. Rather it was told that it is twin cooling system i. E. Cooling of both freezer section and refrigerator section (Bottom portion) are independent of each other as the refrigerator is fully convertible. However we followed the advise but cooling was not improved.

              On further making complaints about non improvement in the cooling to tool free no. (Service request [protected]) an engineer named amir having mobile no. [protected] was deputed on 17th april. He visited our residence and was not able to resolve the issue though he agreed to the fact that the cooling was less. He left stating that some other senior person will have to visit. When no body visited next day again a complaint was lodged to tool free no. (Ref [protected]) and mr wasim of mobile no.[protected] visited. He measured the temperature of both the sections i. E freezer and bottom portion of the refrigerator. The measured temperature were -6.5 degree c in freezer section and 13.5 degree c after elapse of 25 minutes. Mr wasim admitted that there is less cooling and he started to open the cabinet in the bottom portion. I have stopped him from opening and stating that i will not allow any repair in newly bought such an expensive refrigerator from a reputed company samsung. He also left without any commitment.

              No body turned up further then we visited the shop from where we purchased the refrigerator. There it was told by the owner of the shop that there might be the issue the extra thermocol in the duct of freeze or some parts of the refrigerator. It will be rectified after replacing the same. We have told him that in a new expensive refrigerator of a reputed company how the refrigerator can become defective. It this particular freeze has problem right from the installation then better it should be replaced. Otherwise the refrigerator will fail again and when the warranty period of one year will be over then nothing will done further in the refrigerator by the company stating that the warranty is over now. The shop owner assured that let again the senior most engineer to visit again, you need not to be replace any part if the engineer will confirm that there is a problem then the refrigerator will be replaced.

              After 2 days the mr wasim with another person (So called senior most engineer of samsung, name not known, having mobile no. [protected]} visited our house to check the refrigerator where in during checking it was found that the top freezer portion is working fine and temperature of about -8 deg c was achieved in 10 minutes but in the bottom portion (I. E. Refrigerator section) the cooling temperature was around 13 deg c even after the elapse of 25 minutes. It was informed by them that the temperature of the bottom portion should be in between 3 to 5 deg c. One further observation i found that the moment door of bottom portion was opened its temperature jumped to around 18 deg c and the bottom portion was attaining 13 degree after the elapse of 9 minutes. The temperature inside the refrigerator was again measured but the result was the same. It was not getting below 13 deg c even after the elapse of 22-25 minutes.

              This was a clear case of less cooling in the bottom portion of the refrigerator. Both mr wasim and the other person told us that they will let us know about the next action plan within 24 hours. However when even elapse of 2 days no response was received, i talked to the both the shop owner and the so called senior most engineer of the samsung. Both of them behaved very rudely and have told that the cooling of the bottom portion is ok, aapko jaha complain karna hai kar dijiye... They have even suggested to lodge the complain to the tool free no. Again. I lodged the complaint again but nothing has happened.

              I am feeling totally devastated and feeling helpless that despite of spending good amount of money (Rs 50, 000) to buy an expensive refrigerator from a company of repute, no action is being taken from either the shop owner or the representative of the samsung customer care to take care of my complaints.

              I sincerely believe that there is deliberate attempt of the shop owner to harass and misguide the the customer, to delay the reporting of the complaints occurring just after the installation to buy time so that they can say that now the refrigerator is old enough hence cannot be replaced. I also feel that there is canniance in between the shop owner and some of the engineers of the samsung service centre. I also believe that they are deliberately delaying the things so that after some time when the ambient temperature will come down at that time the temperature measurement will be done again and at that time the temperature of the bottom portion might be less than 13 deg c, the value which was achieved 3 days back.

              Hence i am making a compliant to you with a hope that justice will be done with me by replacing the refrigerator in which the problem is being experienced right after the installation.

                I am without phone for a month now.
                Every time they take my phone by saying please give us a last chance but unfortunately their last chance is never the last.
                This is not the kind of service that we expect from such a big brand.
                They said that they have put a mail for approval of replacement, I am just wondering that what kind of server these people are using that it takes such a long time more than 2 weeks for a simple mail reply.
                Very very upset with Samsung about the pathetic customer service that I am getting for Samsung.
                I have also raised consumer complaint on Samsung website but unfortunately no reply from them too.
                Never expected this from Samsung. I am sure the next time its never going to be Samsung in my entire life for any product.
                Never get any reply for mail or never answer the phone call from my number but from other numbers. Very very irritating.
                Just waiting to get out of this pit asap.

                  I had purchased fully automatic washing mac from Vijay sales opera house Mumbai on 1/09/2014.now i have facing problem that washing mach. not starting so i called to my electrician who regularly come to my home for any small works as i thought that some problem in electric plug, but he told me that there is problem in some circuit so it will be not get repaired by me...after that i called to call centre and they have booked my complain my complain no.[protected] on 23/5/2016. as your technician visited to my residence and told me that as you have open this panel from outside some other technician or from your electrician so all warranty finish and you have to pay full charges what so ever it may be...i said Ok no problem please do it.
                  today Mr Sachin your technician called me and ask me that is it possible to fix the problem today? i said pls come and fix it.than he told me that we will charge you our service charge and will not give you any warranty on the the part which he is replacing...as you are putting new part and taking full amount with VAT than i belive i should get warranty for the same...but if you will not give me warranty and this get spoil in two three week than again i to pay full amount which is appox 4000/- this is very unfair...please make sure that i should get warranty for the same and if you will not give i think i have to go to consumer court...

                    Sir,
                    On[protected] i purchased a newly launched samsung refrigerator (Model no. Rr 23 k 274 zuz) from kbm electronics, laxmi nagar, delhi-92.

                    Next day i kept water bottles in the water bottle-shelf, which is provided in the inner portion of the fridge-door. After some time, when i opened the fridge, two water bottles fell down and injured my toes. After that when my wife also opened that door her toe was also injured in the same way. When we checked the bottle-self of the fridge, we noticed that the space provided for the water bottles is too wide and shelf’s bottle support portion is also too low, due to which, bottles fall down whenever the fridge is opened.

                    We immediately reported this matter to the customer-care unit of samsung company. They sent one engineer to our residence to check the problem. When he opened the fridge, water bottles fell on his toes also. Then he gave 2-3 casual tips/jugaad to avoid any further injury due to falling of water bottles –

                    1. Keep the water bottles vertically, instead of horizontally!
                    2. Instead of keeping 1 lt. Bottles, keep small bottles, less than 500 ml. Otherwise they will also fall down.
                    3. Since no other customer has complained about this problem, therefore, you should also adjust with the fridge as it is.

                    Engineer’s suggestions were beyond our imagination. After that we have regularly been complaining to samsung customer-care about this refrigerator, but they are saying that they will discuss the problem with their seniors.

                    Sir, samsung is a foreign company. It seems that they are not bothered about the problem of this hazardous design of their own product, which is injuring its users and disturbing their daily life.In fact, they are silently playing a dirty game with the life and health of the indian citizens and putting the blame on customers to camouflage the truth.

                    You are please requested to look into this matter on top priority. This ever delaying process and blame game of samsung company has become a mental torture/harassment now. Thus, without any further delay the company should take back this dangerous refrigerator immediately and return my entire money.

                      Sir, what i observed after 1 week mobiles "call end" button not working properly. So i immediately consulted the shop owner and they told can't be replaced or repaired here and you should go to the showroom. But what the problem is service center is located from my house 30 km far a way. So kindly look in this issue for resolving it.

                          3 times i had conversation with customer care executive and regarding the issue.

                          During 1st conversation with executive - customer care executive assigned a engineer. Engineer name is mr sunil. He visited my house to repair refrigerator but didn't repair it and said there is gas blocking issue, he will come tomorrow and fix the issue. But he didn't come.

                          During 2nd conversation with executive - customer care executive assigned another engineer mr shankar. He is not visited my house yet.

                            With in 1 month phone mother board replaced than again key button replaced.
                            Now today phone hanged during call and not started again.
                            Same shown to okhla service station and they are saying that again mother board need to replace in the phone. No stand by phone is available.

                            Last time assurance given by your gurgaon service engineer that phone will not create problem if so than will replace phone but again 2 times i faced issues.

                                I have done a big mistake by purchasing samsung handset.. I have visisted to swrvice centre for more than 10 time and every parts have been replaced in my handset. Evern motherboard have been reppaced two time but didn't receive any solution.. every time I promised by the samsung that I won't get any prob in future.. but nw I m totally frustrated from samsung handset. .                                   I have purchased a new Samsung air conditioner on 19th may 2016 which after installation did not work. I had raised a complaint on that very day to repair or replace the same. I got a response that because we Sunday in between I van only get help on Monday for which I was pretty ok. On Monday they say that slots are full and engineer cannot visit before Tuesday i.e. 24th may 2016. No engineer turned up in spite of multiple phone calls and case to be considered as high priority. If they are high priority cases like this and what will they do with other customers. God i.e. 25th may 2016 when I again called them they gave me a different request number and gave me a message with the engineer's name and number. But to my surprise the number given does not belong to the specific engineer. Pathetic service given by Samsung and pathetic service by third party who supports samsung I.e. HCL for these kind of problem. Worst experience ever. Would not recommend Samsung to any body.

                                    Dear Samsung,
                                    I purchased my phone @ samsung singapore.
                                    It was working fine. I an accident my phone fell in Liquid(A Jug of Soft Drink)
                                    I have Given it in Samsung Service Center @ Bangalore BTM for the Repair.
                                    They called me and said that the Part has to be replaced. Since it is the Liquid Traces. The warranty is not covered. So I paid INR 15600 to repair my phone. For which I have a Bill and repaired parts.

                                    Not even 15 Days. My phone frozen again. Went to the Same service Center. They said the Liquid traces found inside Still. I have to pay INR 25600. and same prts has to be repalced. I got shocked that how the same liquid is found inside if the service in the first attempt is not proper. When I asked them about this they say this cannot be done. Its your fault and you have been using the phone for 15 days and you would have done something for claiming the warranty. Why I have to claim for the Warranty if my phone would have serviced properly for the first time?

                                    I have Escalated to different level, what they say is the phone is purchased @ Singapore. No international warranty is covered. I agree that. But I have done a paid service and parts got replaced in India. During return I came to know that you avail 3 Months of Warranty for the paid Service done here.

                                    I'm not claiming for the international warranty, I'm saying the paid service which is done by service center is not valid. still the issue is.. they also confirmed that the liquuid traces are still fresh indication as it shows.

                                    I want to know is there any way samsung to help me. More over If I Escalate the case, the case is being closed without my concern. No proper resolution. When I ask the Service Center Manager that how the liquid traces are found, they say they cannot analyse all those things.
                                    More over do not ask any questions like a Lawyer.

                                    I have a stand by phone with me. Which I do not want to return unless I get my phone back in good condition. Also I'm going to leave a notice that there is Service Defeciency.

Invoice copy is attached i have purchased Samsung J7 in Jan 2016 and i had display issue .I have contacted customer service shop of silvassa to day 24/05/206, he accepted my mobile and contacted me after 24 hour and told me mobile had an issue of display and issue is of kind which can be solved under warranty .

                                        I have received call from customer service after 4 hour to day he then told me, you have to bear the expense we cannot help in this case. He is also not free and available so that he can show me the fault in display. At least customer deserves to see the issue at least in case when customer feels and believe that issue is not from his side.

                                        Believe money equivalent to the cost of J-7 will not matter to me but when person chooses to purchase brand item because of his ignorance and awareness of same product he feels cheated with such brand organization.

                                        Need investigation so that I can be convinced cause of issue is from my side. I was told with number of friends who are expert of this field when ever any issue is faced in mobile purchased from FLIPCART, AMAZON customer center won’t support and this has became true to me. I have wrought complain to flip cart also they are checking from their side also.
                                        Samsung India customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
