I bought a Samsung 40 inch TV 5 years back, and within a year, it started giving problems. When we tried to power it on, it would just make a continuous clicking sound and not turn on. At that time, I called the service center and they were clueless. They tried to change different parts, but, nothing worked. Sometimes the problem would go away by itself, but, then last month, it kept persisting.
My Samsung TV has been off the blink for 3 weeks now, and Samsung has not been able to fix it yet. I have already paid 10k, and still nothing! I had the misfortune to approach their call center and my complaint was routed to the HCL service center for my Samsung TV.
HCL Services sent an engineer (Ravindra) who first advised me to change the power board. Then he came the next day and changed the main board instead, and could give no explanation as to why he was changing a different part than what he had originally said. The TV started working for 2 hours and conked off again (i.e. it just wouldn't start). Then he told me that both the power board and main board are not working and should be changed together. I had already paid 8k for the main board, and I had to shell out 8k more for the power board. Then the engineer came today with one part only - i.e. only the power board. I refused to let him change it as I told him that he had himself advised me to change both the parts together, so he should change both together.
Then I got a call from Akram from the office. He said that there is nothing wrong with the main board and that I should have "questioned" the engineer when he recommended the change of the motherboard!!! Why would a customer question an engineer, God knows! He couldn't tell me why he hadn't questioned him himself. I reminded him that I had asked him to send a senior engineer in my prior conversation with him. But, he outright denied it. These guys should be taken to consumer court for such bald-faced lies!!!
If there was nothing wrong with the mother board, then why did he change it? Why have they taken my money? Now, he tried to tell me that only the power board needs to be changed. When I told Akram that he should pay me back for the mother board, he said he "couldn't commit"!!! They think that customers are just powerless to be taken for a ride.
Samsung's TAT for answering a complaint is supposedly 24 hours, but, this service center sends an engineer only 4 days after the call. And then they quickly close the call from their side, even if the complaint is not resolved, so that the customer is forced to open a new call and start the whole TAT process again. In 3 weeks, I registered 3 calls for the same problem. One time they closed a call when I told him that I would have to consult my husband about the estimate and I needed a few hours.
Samsung India customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
Plz never ever go for s7or any product of SAMSUNG .
IN FUTURE IWILL NEVER GO WITH SAMSUNG FARZI BRAND
FULLY FRAUD, , FARZI PRODUCT WITH TOTALLY FRAUD TO THERE CUSTOMERS.
