Dear Sir/ Ma’am

This is in regards to a refrigerator bought by us on[protected] from Croma.
On 15th June 2022, we realised that our fridge wasn’t cooling enough and called the customer care. Prompt service was provided and two technicians visited our residence and were quite surprised and shocked to see that the freezer portion of the fridge seemed NOT normal. They clicked a few pictures, told us they will check with their team leaders and get back with a solution.
Ever since their visit, we kept waiting patiently until the next day to hear for a solution. Our case was being handled by Miss Bhushra Khan. The whole of next day went past and we didn’t hear back from anyone nor were we given any answer to our repeated calls.
The morning of 17th June 2022, I again made a call and spoke with a gentleman, and to my utter shock, he told me that they had the revert which said this is ‘not repairable’ and that I would be offered a mere 10% of my bill value.

Now after the above story, I would like to have a few questions answered as a customer who placed their trust in SAMSUNG and invested ₹80000/- plus on a machine of high repute of an extremely esteemed brand.

1. What exactly is the problem that has occurred in our refrigerator??
I do expect to be told why such a thing would happen to the machine which even the company cannot repair within such a short span of time of buying the product. By short span I mean a mere 5 years wherein fridges are known to last minimum a decade or even 15 years.

2. Just based on the visit of this ground technician (who can undertake casual repair work) how has it been ascertained through a few/ handful of pictures, that this fridge is not worthy of repair at all?
Does Samsung not deem fit to investigate this issue further? Is the value of our money so low that the customer can be offered a meagre 10% of total billed value for the machine gone wrong?

3. This seems like a manufacturing defect to me which even the company is unable to address. Its a clear case of " material failure" for which the maker is fully responsible & liable to compensate the consumer.

It would be rather not be in the interest of Samsung if I will be compelled to take this case to the Consumer Courts.

I refuse to accept this solution of offering me this meagre amount. As a customer, I would want a proper redressal to my problem. Such a vague answer is not at all acceptable by such a technologically advanced brand like Samsung.

The kind of revert I’ve got seems to have come from a local vendor selling second hand machines and not Samsung.

I look forward to a positive revert from your end. I hope Samsung will not let my faith drown and also value my hard earned money which I carefully invested in your product.

    I have bought a Samsung Refrigerator in Aug 2020. The choice was samsung as it is one of the most reputed brand in consumer durables. I paid around 55k for the Model which I had been told was one of the best among others.
    5 days back, the fridge stopped working and after lodging complaint, the engineer finally visited and told me that the gas of the product has leaked. He further added that this is very normal and "gas nikal jaati hai jaise aap uuncha model lete ho"
    He told me that gas needs to be refilled, "if you get this done by samsung they will add GST and if you want me to do it, I will not charge any GST and you will save money. "

    There is something very very wrong with entire functioning of Samsung technical deptt and the way they handle queries.

    First of all i want the fridge to be repaired on priority considering the hot weather of Delhi. Secondly if there is so frequent gas leak issues with fridge, it means that you people are manufacturing faulty products and for which we, consumer, are not supposed to pay.
    2 year is nothing considering the product which got damaged.
    Plz get this issue attended on priority, bill attached herewith

      Hello
      I have so many times complain to customer care number and every time they said technician coming today tomorrow still waiting no one arrived yet to solve my issue. I have problem since i bought this fridze just passing 1 yr. Then again an again problem with fridze and just before week i repair with samsung service centre they charge me Rs 2210 and just after 10 days i have problem again i have done complain 3 or 4 times no one looking into this issue even technician not coming to visit and see any fault cause fridze not working properly now i have a enough headche with this fridze

          I orders samsung Q990B soundbar on 2nd June 2022 on samsung shop online india and the product got delivered on 9 th June 2022. The Installstion team came on 12th of June and during installation process they found wall mount are missing in the order package. They told that the order will get replaced since items are missing in the delivery and specified the same in Samsung Customer record sheet. I immediately called samsung shop customer care and lodged the complaint for order replacement. Since the I am still waiting for my order to be replaced or refunded but nothing is moving further. Everything I call samsung shop customer care I get assurance that team is working on resolution but nothing is happening since last 6 days. This is very disappointing to see the samsung shop team casual attitude to resolve customer concern where customer is at no fault. The produce was delivered with missing parts but don’t know what team is doing to understand this simple case and replace to order . Poor after sales services.

            I bought an Samsung Galaxy F23 from Samsung Shop online on 03rd May 2022 and the phone I received was a defective phone which is having a complaint with the finger print sensor. I received Dead on Arrival (DOA) certificate from Samsung Service Centre and I opted for a replacemnet. After receiving the DOA it took 10 days for Samsung to send a new phone.

            I received the second phone on 28th May 2022 and the second phone I received was also having the same issue. I have no idea how can I get a phone with same hardware complaint two times. Again I got the DOA certificate and I returned the phone. But this time I thought of buying another model which is the Samsung M33.

            As per Samsung policy the replacemnet cannot be made with another model, they refund the amount and we have to place another order. So instead of getting the refund, I asked Samsung to issue a coupon for the refund mount. Samsung issued a coupon on 14th June 2022 which is valid till 17th June 2022. The coupon issued was a useless coupon which will get error 'You are not authorised to use this coupon'. I tried all the methods they said, website, app, with my emailid, mobile number, etc.

            After several calls, mails and chats about the issue, till today they cannot solve the issue with the coupon. Ordering a phone and waiting for more than one and a half months is not acceptable from a customer side. The problem I am facing now is that Samsung is not ready to refund the amount for the useless coupon issued. Please refund the amount.

              The above mentioned mobile display has one green colour vertical line displayed. we did not fell it . we request you to rectify our troubles. meantime we check with google lot of people have the same problem in that particular model mobile. so it is not users default.

                Hi,

                I have been using Samsung F41 for past 17 months . recently i started facing a continuous restarts and hangs from my mobile . I reached out to service center and they said need to change the Motherboard . No Physical damage and still they suggested me to change the motherboard .

                  My phone samsung galaxy s20plus shows green and pink two vertical lines on the screen since morning while charging. It doesnt hit or break. Automatically the line start showing. Please repair my phone because it is companies fault.
                  And this problem appears in india with many customers. I will not pay any charges for this. As i m regular user of samsung. Resolve my problem as soon as possible. Because its difficult to use such phone.

                    I am very disappointed to write that I had a very pathetic experience with Samsung. In january 2020 I bought a samsung galaxy M30s(RZ8MC0MZT4Y(*********[protected] and just after the 10 month it had issues in motherboard, but since the mobile was under warranty, Motherboard got replaced. But again it had a software update(which released from Samsung company) and due to this my phone was restarting automatically several times and at one point of time, it just froze on Samsung M30s.
                    I visited the service center, they told me that due to the Software update, Motherboard got damaged. The replacement cost of the motherboard may be around Rs 3000.
                    Now i am asking why I should pay motherboard replacement charges
                    1) Samsung company only released the software update.
                    2) and Samsung Authorized Service center persons confirming that due to the Software update, Motherboard got damaged.
                    3)The service center executives are saying that after warranty Samsung is not responsible any of problem.
                    4) again i wrote a letter to Samsung regarding above said problem and i got call from Samsung they also telling that after warranty Samsung is not responsible for any issue if it is manufacturing problem also
                    5)Then who is responsible for Samsung products and Samsung indirectly saying that Samsung mobiles life one year only.
                    all the fault is Samsung. So Samsung should replace it free of cost.
                    I am very disappointed to know that this type of issue is happening with Samsung. Just Imagine within a Year 2 Motherboard replacement is not a small thing. We didn't expect these from reputed company like SAMSUNG
                    If Samsung really concerned about their customers kindly check into this and replace the motherboard at free of cost.

                    This is the way Samsung taking care about their customers

                    Thousands of M30s / M-series users are facing the same issue, and there's not a single word from Samsung except above lines
                    This is highly unprofessional of Samsung that loyal users are being made to go through this for no fault of theirs and because of some defect on Samsung's part. This is completely the fault of this company for which we consumers have to pay. It seems like Samsung wants to earn from their service center by giving us cheap quality hardware in their phones so that it only last until their warranty period expires and then we have to pay such a heavy amount to get it replaced. The company should give the free replacement of the motherboard to its consumers.
                    If Samsung is under estimating Indian consumers demands, then I think time has come to think about using Samsung products in coming years.

                      I installed software update on my Samsung A52 phone provided by Samsung. After which It started freezing and restarting very frequently and sometime even gets stuck into restart loop. I visited Samsung service center and they asked me to pay[protected] for mother board replacement. This is completely unethical and strongly doubt that Samsung is damaging mobile phones after warranty so they get additional business/revenue.

                      I reached out to different communication channels via service centre, CEO's desk but they are ready to bear only 25% cost of repair and asking me to bear remaining cost as it is out of warranty. This seems all well planned where they will damage out of warranty phones and they get business.

                      There are numerous complaints on internet where Samsung M31 and A series phones are freezing and restarting after system update.

                      I request Samsung to take responsibility and give free of cost repair to all M31 and A series consumers who are facing this issue after software update.

                      I am starting with Consumer complaint and if not provided with free of cost repair then will reach out to consumer court.

                        Recently, i purchased (on launch day) laptop from Samsung mentioned above, which was delivered on 14 April.
                        I found that my laptop heats too much, so i filed a complaint on 16 April regarding it.
                        Multiple times service engineer visited to check the laptop. But still solution has not been provided till date.
                        Kindly look into the matter and provide resolution at the earliest.

                          Bought the Samsung S22 mobile on Mat 23rd. Was told that I could redeem the Galaxy Buds2 within 72 hours. It's been more than 20 days. Spoke to 5 different agents. The only response I get from them is that we will resolve the issue within 24-48 hours. No response to emails. Pathetic customer service.

                              Dear sir,
                              My samsung S7 edge device (purchased in March 2018) is showing a pink line suddenly on the screen, from 6 months . My complete smartphone body is perfect and have no damage yet has pink line issue.
                              Please provide me the silution. Since this is a well known samsung manufacturing mistake, you must solve my problem without charging any cost.

                                We bought a Samsung tab A7 in Jun 2021
                                for my child's online education . However, we realised that the tab doesn't support google meet and the microphone doesnt work . The tab is of no use to us if it doesnt solve our purpose. It's been almost one year and we have been filing complaint after complaint.. we have given the tab for service many times but they are not able to solve the issue .
                                My child's education suffered terribly due to this .
                                Below is the recap mail that I sent to them:
                                .This is ref to still pending complaint that we lodged way back starting 22nd aug 2021, when we first contacted your call centre.

                                Some trouble shooting was attempted over the phone, which didn't lead to any solution.

                                Subsequently, numerous calls were made and assurances recieved but to no avail.

                                Another attempt was made on 7th September on your customer service chat.

                                We paid Rs 199 for the tab to be picked up by your service centre in RT nagar bangalore.

                                This was returned to us assuring that the issue is resolved.. however we continued to face the same problem, basically nothing was done.

                                Then again on 23rd September 2021 we raised another complaint . It was again picked up by your RT nagar service centre and again returned with the problem still not resolved.

                                Yet another complaint was lodged on 3rd October 2021.

                                Thereafter, we ourselves visited the service centre, where the executive told us that the issue is resolved . He tried to do a live demo, however he understood himself that the problem remained unchanged.

                                After this we wrote numerous mails to your customer support, but to no avail . They want to treat it like a close and shut case by force.

                                Dates when these mails were sent for your ref :
                                10 th October 21
                                29 th October 21
                                15 th November 21
                                26 th November 21
                                27 th November 21
                                1st December 21
                                Apart from this there were numerous phone calls for which there is no record.

                                The fact of the matter is that this tab was hardly used for 20 days by a 7 yr old for whose education this tab was bought.
                                As a result of you not finding a solution and neither giving the refund or replacing the tab, our child was forced to use a small screen phone despite having a eye condition of concern.

                                For your kind information this tablet has been lying at your service centre from the month of October and no one has bothered about this in any way.

                                We find this attitude extremely unhelpful, insensitive and quiet high handed as if it is our fault that we opted for your product and not your responsibility in any way . As you can see we are writing to you after a long gap as we are tired of this nuisance but not given up on this. We do not want our hard earned money to be washed up like this and ultimately if it is a case of a hapless consumer against a big corporation, then we will not hesitate in exercising our consumer rights.

                                We would like you to keep customer centricity in mind and care to reply to our concerns which are 100% genuine.

                                Awaiting your reply with either a replacement by another model or a 100% refund .

                                  Bought F22 samsung mobile through filpkart on 3.11.2021.Mobile is just 6 months old.Now display colour is changed and i visited service centre in Coimbatore.They are asking its a physical damage by pressing hard the display screen.But my father is 57 years old. Handling of devices is very smooth.In service centre they asked to pay So, i called customer care service on 13th june 2022 morning they said will escalate this issue to superviser and i was keep try to connect with him but the team said manager will call back but untill 14th june 2022 evening 6pm i didn't receive any call then i called them to connect again they connected and said the same.For the same answer i waited for two days and my mobile in service centre.For Rs.13211 product they are asking Rs.5100 for screen replacement within 6 months.So that the quality of product is very low.

                                    I have raised a service request on 9 june 2022 ; for my refrigerator which was not working, and the technician visited on 10 june 2022 ; from 10 june onwards technician visit daily and each time they try do something new, but they are not able to find out the problem why my fridge is not cooling, even when I talked to Mr Ritesh Bhatia (SUPERVISOR - JANAKPURI BRANCH, DELHI), he was just pretending to the head of samsung what he wants only he will do, he told me I am doing favour by doing your work, he doesn't know how to talk with customer. I regularly call your team minimum 5 times a day. Until today (14 june 2022) my fridge is not in working condition, and when I am calling your technician he is not picking up my phone. I have all the call recordings. Now tell me when my fridge will be in working condition, after 1 year or 2 years.

                                      Befor ten minutes of completion of eco drum clean machine shows 4c inspite of watersupply is sufficiant. Company tecnician visit but problem is not complete. Machine purchased on March 2022. It is first time eco drum clean.

                                        Dear Sir, I have purchased one Samsung fridge in year 2016 on which 10 year warranty on Compressor. My samsung fridge Compressor got faulty and not working. I have complained to Samsung Customer care and local technical team visited. I have lost my invoice. Samsung customer care and local technical team is asking for invoice and saying that without invoice they will not replace compressor. They are saying to pay Rs 9000/- for replacement of compressor though compressor is on warranty. The details are attached herewith. Samsung Fridge details: RT27JSMSARZ Top Mount Freezer with digital Inverter 253 L, Serial No or IMEI : 03BK4PAG700649E. I am tired of complaining but issues not resolved. Plz help
