I, Mr. S. Rengaraj, has purchased 1 No. Samsung LCD type LA26B350 FILXL from M/s. Vasanth & Co. for Rs.19,333.33 vide their Bill No.17944 dated 7th November 2009.
As the TV set was not functioning, we contacted your Service Centre (No.24, Rajasekaran Street, Dr. Radhakrishnan Salai, Mylapore, Chennai 4) and they checked the set and gave an Estimation Confirmation on 7th February 2012 for Rs.17,259/- (including cost of spare, taxes, service charges and service tax) stating that the Mother Board is worn out and I have to replace the same.
I wanted to know that within a short period of 2 years, how could this happen ? The cost of the set is Rs.19,333/- and the replacement of Mother Board comes to around Rs.17,530/-. Hence, I am lodging a complaint that an inferior quality of LCD TV is being sold to me. Moreover, I suspect whether all the materials are being tested by your Quality Control Team before sending for Sales. If suppse, it happens due to fluctuations, how it is possible only for TV and not for other home appliances ?
I need clarifications from your end immediately and awaiting your reply for the same.
