My phone, Samsung galaxy ace GT-S5830, was picked when I was travelling by a crowded metropolitan bus in Chennai.
I called the Samsung help-line and informed in a very seriously tone that my phone was stolen and the operator asks me if I'm calling the help-line for the first time !!!
I repeated myself more sternly and asked the operator if the phone is traceable using the IMEI no., she said she cant really help and that I'll get a call from the technical department within 2 hours.
I wasn't happy with this conversation and so called the help line again.
I was told the same thing again by another operator who was relatively sensible enough not to ask me if this was my second dial to the help-line.
After the second conversation I DID NOT receive any calls from any technical department.
Still awaiting....
Samsung India customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.

    I have purchased a Samsung Mobile handset W169 on[protected] from Spice Retail Ltd. Sonepat. inv no[protected].I found the phone has problem from day one the set get switch off it self,after 2-4 minute talk my voice goes off and always have to disconnect the call and make a fresh call.Get no response from the service center and they say they will not change the defected product.

    I have deposited my phone at your sonepat service center, please note that data transfer facility was told me by seller by which we can transfer contact and other detail to pc and back but now service center people says that this feather is not part of phone if this is so it is regrettable and and need your attention solution .
    your service center people said that they have to order some parts to be replaced in the hand set and it will take time and the set is there with them.I want a replacement of the hand set as there is problem from the day of purchase.Please do the needful.
    My phone is still at service center even no standby is provided, I am suffering with no fault on my part and poor response from the company.It is highly regrettable that despite my repeated request and information I am not getting any solution.
    TO DAY I GOT THE PHONE BACK FROM SERVICE CENTER BUT PROBLEM IS UN SOLVED UNABLE TO CONNECT THE PHONE TO LAP TOP THROUGH DATA CABLE.
    I regret that the issue is still no resolved, The phone is still not getting connected to pc via samsung pc suite.please do the needful in the matter.

      I had purchased samsung galaxy s gti9003 mobile phone withIMEI no.[protected] from m/sREDIPHONE,alkapuri,vadodara,gujarat on24th march 2011 for Rs.18890.IT IS ALREADY REPIRED once as it totally got hanged and not starting.on 9th july the speaker has failed .this speaker had poor performance right from begining e.i the full volume also used to be quite low.I SHALL TAKE THE PHONE TO SERVICE CENTRE tomorow for attending speaker problem (11th july) as today is sunday.although this phone is hardly three and half month old and not bein used much and repaired twice.I SUSPECT IT a defective peice and strongly wish that this be replaced with a new packed peice by samsung company.I am a retired man aged 69 years and use this phone mostly for news,sports and music which is my time pass and hoby.my residence phone no. is[protected]

      They should soon provide a firmware update
      My phone hangs quite often nowadays, and it takes 3-5mins to start up now. it used to be really fast...

        We have purchased above mobile from your authotrised shop of Mobile Mall, G-6, Rajvi Complex, Opp. Maninagar Police Station, Maninagar, Ahmedabad, Guujarat aginst Invoice No. 2393 dtd. 23.06.2011.

        When we purchased this mobile & 2nd day this mobile is automatic swiitch off, after we went this shop & we complain the rep. Mr. Sunny. He told us that give this mobile in our service center ( Shreeji Electronics, 1, Dwarkesh Building, Jahwahar chowk, Maninagar, Ahmedabad Gujarat) for installation of new software & he gave us the committement if this problem will not shortout after the installion of software then he will replace the Mobile..As per his instruction we given this mobile in your service centre. but till date problem is continue & today we went on the shop for this complaint he told us that it is not our responsibility & owner of the shop rudely talk with us.

        We never expect this type of behaviour from authorised dealar. So, we request you to shourtout our problem as earlier as possible.

        Samsung — Auto Switch off

        I had bought Samsung Galaxy NOTE last month and now it is getting switch off automatically when i do not use it for 5 minute or so. At the same time if someone gives a ring to me than it rings in the other person but the NOTE screen would be blank. I had gien for service for 3 to 4 times but they are not able to rectify the issue.

          I have purchased Samsung Galaxy Pro G-B5710. While i bought this set i was not informed that this handset does not type SMS with more than 160 characters neither it is mentioned anywhere on the hanset literature. Now when i type any SMS if the SMS is of more than 160 character it gets converted to MMS which costs me Rs.5 per MMS whereas i have a free SMS pack. Due to this i have high mobile bill. I feel i am being cheated by the mobile company and they have not informed me about this drawback of the product before buying and my Right to Information has been breached. Please help.

              Hi ,

              This is my secound compliant , I did'nt get any kind of response for the first one . I gave the phone to Service center for thier trial and error method. They removed all my applications including paid application. And they came to a conclusion that the issue was not with Software. They also tried with other battery , The battery is fine . NOW THEY WANT TO CHANGE AND TRY WITH THE MOTHERBOARD . If that didnt work they told , THEY WILL CHANGE THE TOUCH PAD AS WELL. What should I do now. I am done with this service and product.

              Anybody to help me with this from Samsung ??????????????

                Dear Sir,

                I have purchased a new Samsung mobile Model S3310 and it has prepaid connection with GPRS activated. On mobile I am able to browse all the website.
                I tried to connect the mobile to my Laptop, but am getting the following error message

                “ Connection failed:
                OS error message. The PPP link control protocol was terminated.”

                Kindly advise me how to connect my Samsung S3310 to my PC / Laptop.I think that the APN name which is given in samsung PC studio is wrong in BSNL, so this software is useless & the company still not look after this matter.

                  We had problems with our Samsung tv-Plano.
                  We contacted the samsung service centre with the name, 'Sri Meenakshi Electronics',Thiruvallur.
                  They took the back board of our tv and they never turned back.Its almost about a month.
                  Whenever we call them, they reply irresponsibly. They just cut the call some times.
                  We are really fed up with this.It just spoils the name of the reputed 'Samsung' company.
                  Whenever we call them they say,'Today will be your delivery'. But there was 'many today's'.
                  We are really frustrated with this. So kindly help us with this

                  I would give a minus 5 stars for Sri Meenakshi Electronics if there was a provision.
                  Even after 5 years they have not corrected their attitude and Samsung continues to entertain them and refers the customers to this irresponsible service center. I think irresponsibility is their motto. We had a Samsung fridge which started to give out some whirring noise. After repeated calls one technician turned up and said two parts have to be changed and never turned up or responded for about 10 days. Finally he came with the spares and fixed them but the fridge started to have the same noisy operation .He said the fan has become faulty and it has to be changed and again didn't come or call. The fridge started to have ineffective cooling and was giving out noise like a flour mill .Whenever we tried to contact this Meenakshi electronics we got no response and sometimes evasive answers. Even after repeated complaints to Samsung we were left with empty promises, evasive emails and the ineffective fridge. So finally we decided to replace the fridge and got a whirlpool fridge.. The dealer said that for 6 year old Samsung fridge we had, he will deduct 700 Rs as it can be used only as scrap. Rightly said. With these type of service centres Samsung products are bound to end as scrap.

                    I buy the SAMSUNG GALAXY POP GT S5570 phone problem from Pune.
                    But from first day I am facing the problem with battery Life.
                    It got drain with in 3-4 hours. I tried all option, by switch off Wi-fi, GPS, 3G and bluetooth as Brtghtness also then also I am getting only 4-5 hrs. of bcakup, after that it is fully drain.
                    I would like to change the Phone with repalcement.
                    Please, provide the help and do the needful.

                    Dear Samsung Team,

                    I mostly use Samsung phones and have had no issues with the battery life of those phones (Duos/ Tab/ Marine).

                    I have got 4 Galaxy Pop in Shillong and am facing the similar issue. The battery drains in a matter of just 4-5 hrs without any talk time. Please do suggest on how one can enhance the the battery life.

                      Hello,My name is sadhana turakhia, im using a samsung corby gt-s3653 ,first version. i got one sms i tried to open it an it i'nt. i came back to menu .. then logged in again the messages icon .. i get a screen initializing with dot dot dot forever.. then it disappears .. i can;ntt log in to messages .. nor im getting any intimation of new message .. all other applications are working fine except this message icon

                      ive changed my sim .. ive tried using other sim .. but even then the results are the same .. i reseted the phone setting and tried also .. but nothing is working

                      can you please help me in getting resolved this... suggest me a good fix for this issue

                          I had bought a new samsung galaxy s2 on 21st june,2011. With-in 5 days the proximity sensor of the phone stopped working and the service station people say that company policy to issue new handsets is only for 4days from date of purchase. It all seems so nicely planned by samsung that the day issue of new handset expires the phone becomes faulty. It is the most expensive phone that they have in their line up and this is how they respond to queries related to their product. They are simply cheating customers point blank by such policies. Please inform me what should I do now.

                          Samsung — 3 Products of Samsung faulty

                          I purchase 3 Samsung products and all have given me severe problems and the service centres of Samsung are lousy.
                          Starting with the LCD TV. After 2 years there was sound problem. On 12th March 2011 I lodged a complaint and till date (29 April) neither the spare parts were made available to me nor anything has been done so far even after so many days/months.
                          I have the bitter experience of purchasing Samsung refrigerator (Model SR-32EMB). The trays were flimsy and broke after some time. Now even after so many years I could not be provided with the trays and my fridge is almost useless with only the fruit tray working.
                          I purchased Samsung mobile. Even during the warranty period there was charging problem. I sent the bill as well as set to the service centre but they did not accept it on one or the other pretext.
                          Does this mean that Samsung manufactures disposable products. If so this should be advertised in the same manner rather than making a fool o[censored]s.

                          I think you should write to support.[protected]@samsung.com about your problem. They are the nice and courteous professionals. Your mobile shall be treated at free of cost. You may plan to pay a visit to Samsung Service Centre, CC28, Nehru Place, New Delhi[protected] and your problem resolved. I'm also attaching a review of S2. Do place your opinion considering these and also raise your voice about it when you write to Samsung Support.

                          I brought Galaxy S2 on 5th June, the day of its launch in India. Before having it, I’ve been using the iPhone since four years. I decided to buy S2 in last December, when one of colleague referred me about S2. Since, December I started to surf various websites about its news updates and reviews. That gave me this impression that S2 would the state of art device. And gradually, I’ve made my mind to have it one the first day it self. But now after using it for more then 53 days, I’m of the view that majority of web reviews are stage managed and mainly focusing on the hardware side of the device. So, here is my review as a normal user, who mainly appreciates the functioning side of the device.
                          Let me tell you that I’ve compared the S2 with the iPhone mainly on the angle o[censored]ser Friendliness. Off course, S2 has many better features but iPhone is better in using on day to day basis.
                          Hopefully such feedback will help Samsung to improve their product. Till now, I have experienced the following short comings or the incompetency in S2:
                          A USER’S REVIEW OF GALAXY S2
                          1. Start from the shop…
                          Samsung is unable to provide you a Screen Protector in the box of S2! It’s a must accessory and would cost them a very meager amount. Protector is NOT or easily available in the market even if you are ready to pay for it additionally. Samsung should make it mandatory for it self to provide a Protector for all type of its mobiles.
                          2. The S2’s mobile case is the next bad thing a buyer is noticing at the time of purchase! It has a great designing bug! Samsung has absolutely ignored its user friendly quotient! I failed to use it even for a minute and rejected it at the first stance! Not because of its material but the reason is its design. What a poor lady hand purse type of shape, inconvenient to keep it in pocket and keep out from the case to use every now and then!
                          3. Now, the operational part of S2…
                          Samsung is not providing the Hindi Compatibility. Why? Android 2.3.3 is very much supportive of Hindi, which is the national language of 1.21 billion Indians! But Samsung ignored Hindi in its Indian market version also. You may recall that while Froyo (2.2) only had support for 26 languages, Gingerbread is empowered with a whopping 57 languages. Hindi, India (hi_IN) is very much there in this extended list of supported languages of 2.3.3! Then why Samsung's S2 is deliberately NOT having Hindi Support? Its note worthy that the Samsung is enjoying a large foot print in the Indian market. Yet, they ignored Hindi. Only God knows why! At least professionals at Samsung Support India don't have any guess about this apathy! HINDI COMPATIBILITY SHOULD IMMEDIATELY BE PROVIDED BY SAMSUNG IN S2!
                          4. I’ve found that there few more bugs with the S2! First is with the built in GMAIL App. You can NOT copy anything from the attachments of your Gmail account using this App, be it of any type of file! You will witness similar COPY/PASTE failure with majority of materials while moving through the built in Google browser. Google's Transliteration (not the translation) Tool is also not working in its own browser! Samsung needs to find out a remedy of it. It requires immediate resolution from Samsung or Google or both.
                          5. With S2, you will confront with similar COPY/PASTE problem elsewhere also. For example: suppose you want to send two or more contact numbers of one person from your address book which are stored under one contact to some body else through SMS. Then you can’t do this without copying each contact number independently to the note pad and then to clipboard of your SMS protocol, that too, only after going in EDIT mode of the contact. This is quite tedious route for such top end smart phone from Samsung and needs betterment!
                          6. In the SMS protocol of S2, there are few bugs also! Suppose you receive a long SMS from someone. S2 will show the full text in your mobile. But if you want to forward this lengthy SMS to someone else, then the whole text of SMS will first convert into a Multi Media Massage (MMS) and then it (the SMS) will be sent to the recipient as an MMS. Now, your SMS thread will show it as SENT and but the receiver will NOT get this SMS (Converted into MMS) in their ‘In-box’. This bug also needs to be solved on priority by Samsung!
                          7. Its note worthy that the iPhone can send a SMS o[censored]nlimited characters. And when the limit of an SMS exceeds, the remaining text moves to the second or third or fourth or fifth packets, but never hesitate from sending the long SMS. The Charges for long SMS will be decided on the basis of these packets by the service provider. This is desired in the S2 also. Long SMS converted into MMS may save the cost for the sender by that is waste as the recipient is not getting the MMS in all type of mobile handset. If you want, you may develop an option for MMS or SMS before sending but please empower the S2 for sending the long SMS.
                          8. There is one more issue with regard to forwarding of the SMSs. Suppose you have five SMSs in one Thread of your S2, and you quickly wanted to forward Two or Three of them to some body else. Then you can not select these Two/Three SMSs to be copied to your Clip board in one stroke and then send it as a combined one! This feature is available in the iPhone but not in Samsung’s top end mobile S2. In S2, one has to Copy/Paste these selected SMSs one by one. Samsung/Android should try to develop these user friendly features and update the phone as soon as possible.
                          9. In your built in Weather update feature, one can just get the updates of 10 cities. I believe, iPhone is not having any such limit! Also, in this nice App, there shall be feature of auto update at the defined intervals.
                          10. S2 is having a NICE feature of Black Listed numbers for calls and SMS. But its capacity is quite small. It was made large if not unlimited.
                          11. Now, the design part of S2…
                          Location o[censored]SB port for charging the S2 is also not designed at the user friendly place. Its top location like of the Galaxy S is perfect. That gives us perfect grip to carry on the use of device while keeping it in hand and also charging.
                          12. FM Radio is a good feature of S2. But it has a handicap with it too. It’s unable to work without the headphones attached to it. I can understand that the headphones are working as an antenna for the device. But it means that one should always carry the headphone in pocket! Suppose, you missed it at your home or in office or in your car and after a while you want to listen the Radio then you can’t do it. In technical term this may not an issue but from user’s point of view it’s a lacuna. This could have been avoided at the design stage by compromising a little more weight and slimness of the device. Probably, this might have led to some antenna radiation issue also and then a better hardware solution would have been developed by the R&D experts!
                          In conclusion, may I submit that in spite of having several new features, S2 is not better then an iPhone especially in term o[censored]ser friendliness! Samsung is supposed to come out of these challenges! Will they care?
                          Lastly, I'm thankful to your Support Team for their prompt and courteous response to my series of mails during last six weeks. I appreciate the professionalism of Samsung for that matter. But unfortunately my problems are not getting resolved by such decent approach, as all of their responses were just like the rituals which they were supposed to perform as their job. At the same time, I feel sorry for those professionals who are working in Samsung India that they are so handicap to serve the patrons better..! I extend my sincere sympathies with such people who bear the pain of being so much dependent on their Korean masters..! All of them had told me that my concerns can only be rectified by the Koreans and hopefully by the time next update will be released. But most unfortunately they have NO idea that how much this may take!

                            My name is Chetan C and I had purchased a Samsung mobile phone from Anupam Stationary model no. B519 on 29 May 2011 for my Dad as a birthday gift.

                            Surprisingly after one week o[censored]sage we stated getting a problem with the phone battery. Now even after phone being under warranty Anupam Stationary mentioned that I need to go to Samsung Service centre. So I went to the Borivali West service centre.

                            At first they changed the battery but the problem was not solved. I again visited there and then they said that there is a problem with the IC unit of the phone. Hence they called me after two days. My father had gone after two days but then still the phone was not ready. The next day I get a call from Service centre that after replacing the IC still the battery is not getting charged as now they need to change the motherboard of the phone which will take another 1-2 weeks. This is a ridiculous response I have received from the Samsung team. It is unbelievable that I have just bought this phone one month back.
                            We have also requested them to change the handset itself but they are not willing to do it. It is a big trouble that my dad has to run al over to get the phone fixed. I think Samsung needs to understand the sensitivity of the issue and get this solved at the earliest.

                              I bought a Samsung galaxy pop last month, and I gotta admit this is a great phone. Love everything about this phone. But when it comes to battery this is the worst. The battery drains within a couple of hours during browsing. When I googled this, I found so many people complain about this. If there is any alternative, that'll be greatly appreciated, because I love this phone, but I'm unable to recommend this to others because of battery.

                                  I had purchased a 37" Samsung LCD TV (Model No.LA37A550PIRLXL) on 15th August 2008 from a shop Agents Corner. Deccan Gymkhana,Pune. It was installed and working fine till 2 weeks back when suddenly the screen went white. The sound is working. After submitting complaint at the customer care on 27/6/2011, the engineer came on 30/6/11 and said that the PCB may not be working. He said it will have to be ordered and subsequently replace the same. On 5/7/11 another engineer called to inform that only PCB can not be replaced we need to replace LCD panel andd total cost will be in the range of Rs. 20,000/-.
                                  This is totally surprising. Why should we buy a panel if the fault can be repaired with lesser amount.
                                  What I am surprised at is a reputed brand like Samsung is giving service like this. How can a Samsung TV not last for even 3 years. Even lesser brand Tvs last for 5-6 years. The voltage at our house is perfectly fine. We feel cheated and may never buy a samsung brand ever again and advice our friends also the same.

                                    I have purchased samsung refrigerator RA19BDPS from pooja electronics and appliances on 26/6/2011 at krishnarajapuram.After keeping in house found dent on the body of the fridge immediately informed to shopkeeper and after two days he send some persons to make replacement of the fridge but still now they didn't brought it to my house.Actualy they suppose to give replacement within 24 Hrs. from they taken back today 05/07/2011 still they didn't turned to me pls tell me what should be my next action to get justice thank you sir.

                                      I have bought a Samsung Galaxy Ace one and a half month old. I am a tech working in the industry of devolpment and support. I am good a mobile OS as I am supporting all Android , Symbion and so and so.

                                      I love Android , SO I sold my HTC trophy 7 (windows 7 ) Phone to get this one. Now I am in a state where I am confused about the choice I have made.From the moment I purchased the phone I had troubles with the Battery back up . I thought it can be a issue with the Android OS 2.2(Froyo)..Then after two week of purchase , I found the Battery back up have gone really bad as it will not stay more than 4 hrs without a single call.So I used to charge the phone to get the call , But later it is not even charging and will not turn on itself. Funny ??? but I have to unlpug the batter and replug the same then it will work for some time .very recently I am not getting the right response from the touch pad .Then I did check with the samsumg for the Gingerbread(2.3.3) which they dont have officially released. Once when the phone was automatically turned off , I removed the battery and plugged it back and found the charge is still there .so in simple words "I REALISED I MADE A WRONG CHOICE". Unfortunatly I called the Tech Support Dept of Samsung. I spoke to the so called TECH ; the tech began to go through the steps ... I did that completely and told this is how it works.I asked for Supervisor. Thier COMES THE SUPERVISOR. I cant understand his english on first place. But I did tried to convey the info . He was more interested to let me know that its not a trouble.Below are my concerns . What should I DO ?

                                      Question 1: Do you expect us to carry a charger along with the phone ?
                                      Question 2: When I went to service center and told about the entire story they told will have to change the board and check , If its not working will try changing the touch . The first resolution "to change the board " will take more than 7 days and I can check if its not working I will have to wait another 7 more days."IF that is not fixing my battery issue ,will you change the battery as well." Then what is the original parts available in the phone purchased from samsung ?
                                      Question 3: I have paid application in the phone ,Which they will remove and try a trial and error method , who will pay and put that application bak on my phone ?

                                      Expecting a better service than from customer service to back samsung products this time.

                                        They expressed their inability to attend the complaint at our residence due to shortage of technicians & advised us to bring the machine to their office to replace the switch membrane card. They also informed that it will take long time to complete the repairs.

                                        Kindly note that we cannot take the machine to their office. They can collect it & return back after repairs.
