I had purchased a Samsung S3353 from The Mobile Store, 38, Gariahat Rd. (S), Kolkata - 700031 on 27.03.2011. The same evening onwards, the sensor of the mobile set started to malfunction and the pointer started to move on it's own rendering me unable to select any particular function displayed on the screen. At first, we thought that perhaps we have to get used to the sensor and we might be touching it the wrong way and hence decided to try for a few days more. However, when I tried on a similar set belonging to one of my collegues, I found the same to be operating perfectly and there is no error in the manner I operated the other set. Thereafter, I noticed an additional problem that came up subsequently. If I choose to delete any image (both from the phone internal memory and memory card), the set will simply go into Hang mode and restart itself after remaining hung for 10-15 mins.

I took the set to their 12, Louden Street, Kolkata - 700017 Service Center (Service Center No. [protected]) on 14.04.2011 and explained the problem and asked for a replacement of the set. They said that if I brought the set to them immediately within 2-3 days, they would have replaced the same. I explained that I simply could not make myself free and the came to them on the first opportunity that came to me. They said that the problem is minor and can be corrected. They took the set on the same date and assured me that the rectified set will be given to me within two days. Thereafter, on receiving no calls from them after two days, I gave them a call and they said it will take more time due to certain parts pending at their end. This continued for some time and on 21st, I gave another call to your service center only to be again told that the parts required are still pending. At that point, I gave a call to your call center and explained the situation. I was given a number of Mr. Ghosh (Service Center Manager) and asked to contact him. I called him and briefed him about the situation. He promised to look into it and get back to me. It was a surprise when he called up 5 mins later and told me that my set I ready and can be collected. I told him that just 10 mins back an employee of the same service center told me that there are parts pending and it will take more time and now he is saying the set is ready to be collected. To this he said that the employee was not properly informed.

Nevertheless, I go the set collected by my driver the next day (21.04.2011) and tested it. To my surprise, none of the problems were attended to and it seemed that the set was not touched altogether. I immediately went back and spoke to Mr. Ghosh at the center. This time I asked for a replacement only as I am not interested in a set for which I had to visit the service center twice within two weeks of purchase. He said that since he had closed my initial complaint, I will have to deposit the set again and he will write to his HO putting forward my case and I should be getting a response within the next two days. I deposited the set again on 21.04.2011 and insisted that I will accept only a replacement as I am simply not interested in a set which has come to me with a manufacturing defect and needs to be repaired immediately after purchase.

I received no calls thereafter after which I gave a call to Mr. Ghosh on 26.04.2011. He said that no intimation has come to him till now and the set might or might not be replaced. In case the instruction is not to replace, he will repair the same. I again reminded him that I will not accept a repaired set to which he retorted that it will be my decision to accept a repaired set or not. He also added that it might take 9-10 days more for him to get an advice from his HO in this regard. I again gave a call to your customer care thereafter, and was asked to contact the Area Manger Mr. Bikramjit ([protected]) and explain the situation to him. The said number is switched off since yesterday.

Now, I feel that my decision of purchasing a Samsung mobile was wrong and am subjected to such harassment due to my decision. I fail to understand that even after my new mobile set has been sitting in their service center for more than 12 days, their people cannot give me a definite answer.

Also, it is worth to mention that I have not seen more lethargic people than the ones sitting in their technical support. Their body language is so slow and lethargic and can put one to sleep by just observing their actions. Their attitude is also amazing in all the wrong ways. They act as if they are doing us a huge favour by taking a look at our phones.

Dear All,
I got similar response from Samsung Repair Center, CD-7, Salt Lake City.
I was unable to send sms from Samsung SCH-M369 CDMA after porting my Reliance number to MTS. I went to ABHIJIT NATH (NAG?), of the Service Center. He not only failed but also misbehaved and tried to misguide me as if I was using the mobile technology for the first time.
On top of all this, he changed the language of the phone and refused to set it right. When I asked for a Job Card or Comments, he again refused.
Is this a Samsung Service Center or some Dharmatalla Repair shop?
I have faced similar experience with a Samsung fridge.
Moral - NEVER BUY SAMSUNG PRODUCTS. BEWARE!

    Dear concern,
    A Samsung washing machine was purchased by us from the dealer Vinod Enterprises ist floor Dr. Rastogi Clinic ,Greek ganj-Sitapur on 23/03/2010.Ist of all nobody from the company came to my residence to give the Demo. of machine,From first day there was a manufacturing problem in the machine for which i have logged a call to the dealer but no call was logged by the dealer in the co.as i was posted in Reliance Life Insurance Co.LTD,Gola br.so no enquiry was made by me regarding the complaint due to the lack of time.After some time when i got time on enquiring i came to know about the fact then after i logged too many calls regarding my problem & i request to replace the machine as the machine is in warranty period but couldn't get any satisfactory resolution to my problem & all the times i was cheated by both the employee of the Samsung Co.as well as by the dealer.Now an untrained machanic named, Bipin was sent to us for repairing the machine Dear but he couldn't repair the machine.After this act of machanic now the machine is not in working condition.As you can see in the attachment that from a long time we are suffering by financially,physically & mentally.Plz help us to resolve the problem.

      We had cooling problem in the fridge, hence lodged a service call on samsung customer care. The people who attend the service initially said there is problem in gas as so they loaded the same and charged for it.. but the cooling levels didnt improve, when called again they said the compressor needs a replacement and we agreed and they replaced the same collecting the amount. After doing all this the cooling system didnt improve and now they are not able to judge out the problem and are insisting us to send the fridge at their service station to find out the issue in which im not comfortable and trusting these people anymore.
      food items kept gets spoiled like coconut, curd, milk etc cooling is not provided. kindly do the needful.

        Sir,
        Since last 4 months I'm trying replacement for my below detaild Samsung hard disks but the authorised service center of Samsung is not giving replacement.

        He said you can take replacement from where you buy.

        I buy Samsung 500 GB hard disk date 11-Nov-2010 with 5 years warranty from IT-Hub
        shop no 383, Wolkar House, Lamington Road Mumbai-400007

        for one month he is saying this hard disk was not buy from IT-Hub, after 1 month when I say to check invoice then he accepted.
        One time he take the hardisk for replacement after 20 days he gave the replacement. then again he gave the dead hard disk of 500GB. Now again I submitted but right now he is not giving any response and not receiving my phone.
        I am in problem and unable to buy other hard disk.
        Please help.

        but he wants some money against replacement. otherwise he will not return my hard disk.
        call police or complaint in consumer court.
        If they are asking money against replacement, ask them why. Is it burnt? Is it out of warranty?

        If its within warranty and they are still charging, ask if they will issue a new bill with the new date of the time receiving the harddrive.

          Hi,

          I had purchased one Samsung washing machine and Refridgerator two weeks back from Reliance Digital (Shipra Mall Indrapuram,Ghaziabad).When the products were delivered at my home(16/17 Ban Rd. Shipra suncity), the installation Engineer found one dent in Washing machine body so I refused the installation and asked him for replacement and he took the feedback.Later on I talked to branch Manager also and He agreed for replacement but now whenever I am calling him He is not picking the call which shows his unprofessional attitude.
          It's more than 10 days and no action has been taken for the replacement of washing machine.I am providing the phone numbers of installation Engineer and Reliance Digital Branch Manager phone numbers for your reference.

            I purchased Samsung Split AC of 2 tons capacity from Cool Care for my bedroom in January 2011. At the time of installation the cover of internal unit was found to be broken and the digital display was out of position. After 2 days Cool Care sent his person Tousif. He took away the internal unit and came affer 2 hours with another one and replaced it. This was done during day hours when I was in my office. The internal unit was making to much of noise. There are various type of noises. The relay function is audible from even outside the room. Every time the Compressure is on it gives a clicking sound and the same when it is off. Complaint was lodge, a person attended and said this sound will come.
            Within 3 days the unit stopped cooling. Complaint was lodged. After 3 days it was attended and gas was charged. After 10 days water started dripping in my room and stopped cooling. After 4 days it was attended and again gas was charged. My bedroom has become a railway coach. We are sleeping in another room. Every time we call Mr. Damodar of Cool Care, either he will not pick his mobile and if by mistake he picks up he has different excuses every time. I am fed up of calling him. Three months have passed. Nothing is happening.

            For last 11 years I have been using Samsung products with full satisfaction. This is the first time I have found a defective unit and more so improper after sale response.
            Samsung products in use in my house are
            Fridge 2 nos
            Micro oven 2 nos
            Washing machine 2 nos
            TV 4 nos
            Mobile phone 1 no
            Window AC 2 nos
            Split AC 5 nos (my last purchase has troubled me so much).
            I hope the defective internal unit is replaced without further delay.

              I purchased Samsung GT B7722 in December 2010 and was having problems with it right from the very first day. The handset takes a very long time (about 4 hours) to get it charged. Along with that , it reboots itself without any reason. Already contacted several times within 7 days from the date of Purchase with no solution from them.Contacted there service center thrice in South City with no resolution. Even after 3 commitments of the product replacement and 1 for the refund of the amount, nothing is being done on this. Just wondoring if there is any solution anybody from samsung can provide.               To be honest Samsung Sucks a lot. I am not going to purchase any product of samsung in future nor will suggest anyone to purchase any.I will also make efforts on all the social networking sites like facebook / orkut and will do negative marketing from them

              Samsung Mobile — Abt orkut

              I have s3310 handset n unable to open an orkut. Thr is a error msg always shown wen i want to open it. D msg is certificate of isuer is not found. Pl help me.
              I have F-270 Beat series handset. I can't open my orkut a/c. "Entering a non-secure area. ok? " this massage is always shown, when i sing in the orkut. How can i open my orkut a/c in my mobile ?

              Hoe many times, I will receive the response as above?? How much time will I have to wait for a call from you guys which has no resolutions??               Hi guys, I am in Riyadh Saudi Arabia. I disagree with this attitude. I am familier with almost all models in tha market. I have purchased Samsung GT B-7722 in June 2011 and it was robbed soon after 2 weeks. After 1 month I purchased the same model again because of it's amazing performance. Now it is already 4 months and I have no problems at all. I am fully satisfied with this product. I am (will) suggesting all my friends to use this model.
              As a proffessional I am dealing with samsung CCTV and access control systems since 5 years. I am getting a very good service from the agent / manufacturer. In electronics, Samsung is the best.

                I have purchased Galaxy 551,

                There is NO XT9 Preferred Test and Swype option inside the mobile even if it is mentioned on the Box/Manual and Samsung Website.

                My mobile shows, only Samsung keypad Settings with following options and NO SWYPE:
                1)Input language 2) Keypad sweeping 3) Auto-capitalization 4) Voice Input 5) Auto-full stop 6) Tutorial But NO XT9 option (how to access dictionary in its absence)

                Also the phone does not have MOBILE TRACKING option in it

                I personally went to the Samsung Service Center, but they told me they cant do any thing about this.
                You don't get what is mentioned on Samsung Website.. this is unacceptable behavior.

                Also when I mailed the company, no one cares to reply back.

                Samsung Galaxy i5510 — Poor Mobile Repair Service

                Dear Samsung Support .

                With utter disappointment , I have to convey the pain I had to go through your Samsung Mobile Service Centre at Lajpat Nagar.

                I had brought Samsung Galaxy 5510 around 3 months ago. After 2 months o[censored]sage , the touchpad used to stop working intermittently although the keypad used to work properly. I went to the Lajpat Nagar Service Centre and was told that there was Liquid Issue because of which the receiver was not working. I readily signed the document and gave the phone for servicing. I was also informed that since Liquid Problem doesn’t come under warranty , hence I would have to pay the charges . This happened on the 18th June .

                Few days passed and I wasn’t provided any update .After some days , I called and was told that it would cost Rs. 2000 for the same . I agreed for the same . After few more days , there was no proactive call from the Customer Care and it was me who had to call . I was told that they would check the status and call back but the call never came .This happened continuously for some days .Day before yesterday when I assertively asked for the status , I was told that the Motherboard had got damaged and it would cost around Rs. 6000


                This thing is not acceptable when the cost is increased from Rs. 2000 to Rs. 6000 and the customer is informed not proactively but only when he calls , and that too after a month has passed.


                This poor service has caused great inconvenience to me and created a negative image of Samsung Service among me and my friends . Also this has let us to have a perception of poor service and refrain from buying future mobiles if such service is provided .


                I would request you to kindly look into the matter gravely .

                Samsung Galaxy i5510 — COMPLAINT

                This is to inform you that after repaired three time my Samsung
                mobile form Samsung care but still I am facing same problem till now
                it is not working properly. When I was repaired my mobile last time
                after that display & slider of the mobile not fitted properly. I do

                    we purchased samsung refrigrator RT26CDWB1/XTL/2010( double door ) on 14th april and went on holiday for 3 days after returning we fouund that it was not working. 3 days we thught that we are lacking in the knowledge of setting and then on assuring ourself that it is not a matter to be resolved ourself we complaint in customer care on 21st after 2-3 follow ups an engineer came and declared that it was due to over refrigeration and ice accumulated. it is a defective peice and 30-40 days will take place for its replacement. i was shocked to hear this because i myself is working in a a godrej company and we have well satisfied customers.if this is a assurance from samsung then it is worthwhile to spend money on samsung products. we are still waiting for corrective action from samsung company.

                      With due respect, I would like to lodge my compalint against samsung Mobile India (India).
                      I bought this Samsung Corby (GTS 3653) Handset in June 2010. From the very 1st week I am facing this Problem of Screen. Its screen got stuck inbetween doing any function on this handset. I am continously facing this problem. For this problem , I have already visited Samsung authorised service centre twice, But still facing the same problem, and after visiting 2nd time to service centre, my fone is dead from then, its screen not working. Its already under warranty period, still those service centre people ask me to pay[protected] Rs.

                      I have come to know throgh some reliable sources that you people provides justice to consumers like me.

                      So Please do the neeful.
                      I am just tensionised just because of this handset.

                        I have purchased a Samsung mobile (B-3410) of Rs 7900 from Sheeba Tel, Janak Puri on 16/05/2010. Within 6-7 months its touch screen stopped working. For repairing it, I have submitted my mobile at the authorized service center of Samsung that is "Sai Enterprises", UG-30, Suneja Tower-2, District Centre, Janakpuri, Delhi-58 on 22/dec./2010. They said to collect mobile on 8/1/2011 but did not returned and said that they do not have repairing parts. From that time till now(23/04/2011), I went there at least 10 times and called them at least 100s of times but every time they returned me back saying that will repair soon and sent it to my home address. I'm totally fed up with this behavior and want the compensation for this mental and economical harassment.

                        Dear sir,

                        I gave my phone to samsung service centre on 4.08.10 because it was not working while i am inserting my sim card. I went thier thrice but evrey time i went their they say come tommorow, or day after that today when i went their they said there is a water damage, which is completely irrelevant and they said go some were else and repair it & misbehaved with me. Is this the way samsung is providing the service?

                          I bought the phone Samsung S-5350 on 17-Feb-2011. The phone keeps going off automatically. The first time I complained was on 16-Mar-2011 (Customer Cmplaint# [protected]). At that time the problem was the phone used to drop calls all the time. I then gave it to the authorized service center in Andheri (W), Muymbai. They said it was a software issue, so updated the software and gave it back to me. After I got it back, it started now giving more problems. It hangs often and later it used to go off and not come on for 6 to 8 hours. I again gave it for repair to the same place on 18-Apr-2011. They said they need to check it so they'll keep it with them for 2 or 3 days and they'll call back when it's ready. On calling them, they said they are still checking it. Today (23-Apr) I finally went to collect it since there was no response from their end. The problems still persist but your service center says the phone is fine. I called the Samsung customer care on [protected]. They keep disconnecting the calls. I finally got a chance to speak to a technical expert who kept telling me to go back to the service center or another service center. He then disconnected the line when I was talking.

                            On April 16, 2011, I have fully paid for Samsung Refrigerator Model No: RT-26 HCLB1 REF/250 LTR to Great Eastern Appliances Pvt. Ltd. at 66, Syed Amir Ali Avenue, Kolkata-700019. Bill No: BB/CB/00140/11-12. & delivery date was within 18th April 2011, but still I not yet received the product. I had tried to call them so many times but their response is very poor. My requested to if they are not able to supply the product then please return back my money.

                              I purchase new Samsung S3310i(FAILURE MODEL) last month....that mobile got some problems...Go to contact list search any name in your contact list and edit that contact and save after that press right nevi key ....... MOBILE WILL AUTOMATICALLY RESTART .... SO DONT BUY THIS MODEL ANYWAY. .... ITS FAILURE MODEL ......And also I gave to samsung service centre....ITS VERY VERY WORST ALL SAMSUNG SERVICE CENTRES in Chennai....MY ADVICE TO ALL DONT BUY SAMSUNG PRODUCTS......

                                  i have purchased this handset on 15 jan, 2011. in just 3 months it becomes dead & as usual was set hangs itself. i have given this set to nirala nagar service centre named "H.D. Associate". first time they have said that it will get repaired in 3 days, so i have gone to recieve my set on 7 april and given on 4 april. from that day they are continously giving me further timming. i have already informed to their's area manager Mr. [censored]ij but same no satisfied response i get.
                                  Now atlast i don't wont my celphone back, instead its cost that i have invested, plus 100/- RS. per day from 'submisson date' as a delay charge in place of convenance that i have spend from the company.

                                        I would like to highlight my displeasure & disappointment with the product (model: Wave 2 8530) that I purchased from one of the authorized dealer of Samsung - Noida, India.

                                        I bought this phone on 1st Feb 2011 and to my surprise I have to visit the service center within 2 months of purchase.

                                        Issue description – Problem with touchscreen, constant display o[censored]SB symbol, over heating & very less battery life.

                                        I showed my phone at one of the authorized service centre located at D-170, Sector 63, Noida on 16th Apr 2011 (Job# 1172). To my surprise I was asked to leave my phone as the mother-board was damaged. I have been told that mother-board of my new phone would be replaced and I will get my phone back in 1 week.

                                        Replacing the motherboard within 2 months of purchase?????

                                        Please suggest if the warranty of my phone would be extended????

                                        If not, then please treat this email as a formal request for refund or replacement of the handset.

                                        I just received two calls from Samsung Customer Service department. 1st call was from customer service department and was very helpful and supportive, whereas, the 2nd caller was from a different department. This person was very rude and started explaining that Samsung has no policy of replacement of the phone and had advised me to go ahead and file a complaint against this policy in the consumer forum. I never wanted this kind o[censored]npleasant events to happen with Samsung, but can’t afford a 17K and 2 months old phone to get repaired
