I had bought a Samsung mobile from a dealer ( sangeetha mobile) at Adyar on 12.06.2010 which is SCH-W299 . The mobile was working in good condition for three months and later the Touch screen was not working. I took to the Service centre in Adyar and they had changed the touch screen under warranty. I asked the reason for the failure and they told that it might be a normal problem which will occur in the touch screen mobiles. I asked them how many days warranty they can give for the touch screen which they had changed. They replied that during the warranty period, they will change as many times under warranty. I just took the mobile back and after 4 months, i had the same touch screen problem. I took to the same service centre and asked for the reason. They replied the same reason that touch screen problem is normal only. it might get damaged every 4 to 5 months. Then i called the Samsung customer care number ( toll free) and told them about the problem. They noted the problem and they gave me a number to call and talk with him and he will give me the suggestion for the problem. ( BP number [protected]) He is Mr. Subbukudhin and his number is +91-[protected] and he told that he will help me if the same problem exists after the Touch is changed. And he also told me to call him while changing the touch screen so that he can talk to the service engineer regarding the problem . But when i called him during the service, he did not attend the call and he had send me a message that he shall call me later. Mean while, the service persons had changed the touch screen and gave me. The next day i called Mr. Subbukkudin, he did not attend the call. Then the next day too i called him. But there is no response.
This is the way you samsung people are treating your customers. The cost of the mobile is Rs.10500 when i was bought. The touch screen had been changed twice. Even if we buy a mobile for Rs. 10500, the touch can work only for 3 to 4 months? After the warranty period, i need to change the touch screen if it is not working . The cost of the Touch screen is RS.1200 plus the service charge for changing it. You samsung people has to take a action regarding my complaint and if there is no response from you, then i will file the complaint in the consumer court. I own two mobiles which is samsung and most of my office and house products are samsung. But im very much unsatisfied with this mobile. The IMEI number is [protected]. Samsung — defective handset supplied
I had purchased a samsung cirby speed mobile from Vasant communications, C-47,main road,massoodpur market, vasant Kunj,New Delhi 70, phone[protected],[protected],Right from the begining i have facing varoius problems on the hand set, battery back up improper, that is if i switch off mobile and charge it gives a talk time of 3 hours, if i switch on and charge it gives a back up of 1/2 hour, secondly broadband internet never worked, sms dictionary send wrong sms,frequent hanging slow response,
Since i my job involves extensive travelling and late working hours, and could not take it back to the Vasant communications, delhi, When i was back in mumbai , ihad taken it to samsung service centre in Mira Road, they checked and told me to keep the hand set for two days for observation, since my travel plan was fixed i could not give it to service centre, now i have taken to samsung service centre at mulund, Raj telecom shop no7,nirmala Apt. Dr.R.P. Road, Mulund west 400080, Ph[protected],for software upgarde and to check the list of problems faced, They have checked and told me that some part in the had set has to be replaced and to be tested, As on today it is at samsung service centre, It will be reaired and may be ready on 27/4/2010,
I have asked for a replacement hand set as the one supplied to me is a defective and a reapired hand set is supplied to me for the cost of new hand set, Also I feel i have been cheated by SAMSUNG Electronics,
the service centre says SAMSUNG replace the instrument only if the problem is reported within seven days, Within seven days how can a user of a new hand set learn all the features ? And it like an excuse given to cheat customers
