i purchased samsung corby on 16/09/2010 from Chroma Electronics, Bangalore. After going back home we found out that FM was not working. So we went back to the same dealer on 29/08/2010 and he said FM signals are weak and the cell is fine, it does not have any problem. But problem persisted. so i went to the same dealer again on 8/09/2010 and they said they will rectify it and sent the defective cell to Samsung service centre.
one day later i got a call from it saying that motherboard has the problem so they need to open the cell and replace it. But i did not accept it. why should i pay the money for a defective cell? i asked them to replace the entire set and give me a new cell. hardly its not even a month and they say they can rectify it with one year service warranty clause. what the hell is this?? when cell is defective to begin with they have to replace it. means samsung company has sold a defective cell for right price.
How can i solve this issue?? please help me out...

      I had purchased a fully automatic 5.8 Kg washing machine from Samsung Showroom at Allahabad about 4 yrs back.
      In March 2010 the machine packed up and on several complaints and phone calls the mechanic turned up and said that the PCB Assembly was defective. It would have to be replaced. I agreed and they did the needful for which I paid Rs.3042/- vide receipt no 8157 dated 25.03.2010.
      Now less than six months have passed and the machine has again packed up. Phone calls to the service centre remain unanswered.
      One phone rings and is not picked up (no. 2400425), whereas the other phone[protected] has been disconnected for nonpayment of bills.
      I managed to get the number of the call center at NOIDA and lodged a complaint no.[protected] but more than six hours have passed and no one has called back or visited.
      This is abominal service and despite best efforts no one is prepared to give the phone number or email ID of any higher up official who can be contacted.
      Please see what can be done to help.

        Reference: Purchase of LCD TV from Konark Televisions, Fire station road, Berhampur, Orissa via Invoice No 5061 dated 28th May 2009.


        Subject: LCD TV – Model No LA22A450C1, Serial No 07863ZCS401159N, Complaint no [protected]

        Dear Samsung Authorities;

        With reference to the above mentioned complaint number, I wish to state that the LCD TV in question was purchased by me from Konark Televisions, Fire station road, Berhampur, Orissa, on 28th May 2009.

        Samsung as a brand was sold to me by the representatives who managed to convince me that this is a well known brand having best products and that I could blindly purchase any of Samsung Products and be assured about the performance for a long time to come. Hence, I purchased the Samsung LCD TV for Rs 16,000/- on pure face value.

        During the month January, 2010 the TV started giving problems with relate to display. After switch on the TV no image seen. We had lodged a complaint and the same was attended by a technician wherein he mentioned to us that there was a panel board problem and instructed us to send the TV to MM Electronics which is the authosied service center of Samsung TV in Berhampur. We had deposited the TV on 2nd January 2010. After 25 days the TV had returned to us. It was informed us that the panel board was changed.

        During mid August 2010, again a problem was detected in the TV. The TV was not receiving any signal from the remote control. Again a complaint was lodged & technician attended & informed the switch board located inside the TV was not functioning. The technician repaired the same.

        After a week i.e. 20th Aug. 2010, again no image seen after switching on the TV. We had called the service center & the same was attended by the technician. He informed there is problem in the panel board & again we had deposited the TV in the service center on 28th August 2010. On 4th Sept. 2010 we had got a call from the service center & they informed that the panel needs to be replaced & that will be cost around Rs. 12,000/-. On 5th Sept. we called the Samsung helpline no. [protected] & registered a complained. The helpline assured to revert back to us with in 24hrs. Since we had not received any call from your side, we again call the helpline on 7th Sept. The helpline informed only repair cost will be charged to us i.e. Rs. 4000/- (approx.).

        We are feeling completely cheated on buying the Samsung TV as I was told that the same is a good product and I would never have to worry about its performance. In the span of 15months the TV has already given a lot of major problems. We are very shocked that how the panel board will require to be replaced again with in a span of 6 months. For your information the panel board was replaced by your service center during the month of January.

        Hence, the estimate given by you is totally unacceptable. You are once again requested to have the television set repaired immediately as it has been almost one month now that the television set is unused and is causing a lot of inconvenience to my family members.

        I hereby appeal to the Samsung Authorities to look into the matter as there is no way that I can pay Rs 4000/- for the repairs of my TV. There is no justification to the fact that an expense of this nature is called for in a matter of just 15 months of purchase. The TV needs either to be changed or repaired.

        You are hereby called upon to rectify the problem immediately at your own cost immediately, failing which we shall be constrained to take appropriate steps against the company – Samsung, activating the Consumer Code Proceedings and Institution of Cheating and Forgery Act as applicable without any reference and at your entire risk and consequences. We would also be constrained to activate the media tool in the same.

          I regiter my complaint on Samsung site (Transaction no. is [protected]) around 3 months before but haven't got any response from them. My handset SCH-W299 has a problem from the brgining (cracking noise while talking) for which I visited their service center "RAZA Services" on Deccan Gymkhana, Pune but their approch & treatment was very pathetic & unprofessional so I raise complaint with Samsung but no response. Now in addition to my earlier problem, touch screen of my mobile is not working so I gave it for replacement after confirmation of it's availability with same service center (receipt no 21227). After 2 days when I went to collect my handset from "RAZA service center", I informed that touch screen is not available come after some days (how many? nobody knows). Overall approch & service from RAZA service center is very irresponsible & unprofessional. They are just taking customer for ride.
          I urge to all people that Sumasung Mobiles has lot of problems & so don't buy this brand. Moreover their service center are worst in service so incase you have a problem then try to avoid going to service center.

          Samsung Mobile — Poor Quality Service

          I Purchase a Samsung Star 3g on[protected]. And from december 2009 I am facing problem regarding charging of Handsets. On 14 December 2009 I handover my Handset to Authorised Service Center at Kanpur at following address : 112/08(16) Benajhabar road, Kanpur - 208002 (Mb No. - [protected]), & they are commited for maximum 15- 20 days. Now current situation is that still handsets are with them and they are asking for more 15- 20 days. Earlier I am talked with Corporate Office of Samsung Mobile to Mr. Sunil Singh and they are saying the problem is solved within 3 days this converstion is of 3 Jan 2010. So I am totally harrashed with the services of Samsung Mobile Services. What can I do here.
          I took one samsung mobile on 13/02/09 from Link Telecom Pvt Ltd (New Alipur, Kolkata-53) model no.C3053 3547/[protected] Btty-LC1SA201S4B, i found some problem on the same, it becomes very hot when i charged the mobile & if i charged it in the morning, in the evening battery is showing empty without any activities like phn calls, games, songs etc, i took my phn to the nearest service center, they checked & found some problems in motherboard & asking me to leave the mobile & it will take 10days, its very pathetic, i purchased a new set & just using it 14days & found a faulty set, just pissed off with ur service, & today onwards i will never use any samsung mobile or any other home appliances or accessories & will convey my message to all my friends, ofc colleagues, my relatives & neighbors, i was habituated with nokia, & never found any issues from them in last 7 years, & now i am just pissed off within 14days, now i am suffering with ur faulty mobile set.

          Samsung Mobile — Pathetic Quality & service

          I had purchased Samsung mobile C 3510 in Feb'10. Now display is not coming. After contacting the customer care I could get two authorized service centre at Thane namely Micro service & Mangal Murti enterprise. They are not bothered to even take calls. The number provided for Mangal murti enterprise is always switched off and for micro service always ringing without a response. pathetic. I have decided to stop buying any samsung product from now onwards. In fact now I am planning to change my samsung refrigerator also. Avoid samsung.....they are pathetic in service.
          I bought a Guru (model: E2120) on 12.06.2010 from poorvika mobile showroom. now it is in poor condition so gave my mobile to Samsung service center Puducherry on 12.03.2011. First they told logo hanging and after one week they said motherboard problem that motherboard is not available come after one week. as i see the compliment in http://www.consumercomplaints.in/complaints/poor-quality-of-mobile-amp-pathetic-... , i hope i never get the mobile ever after one week. some of my friends said that 90% of samsung mobiles are in poor condition and repaired under warranty. I urge to all people that Sumasung Mobiles has lot of problems & so don't buy this brand because their service center are worst in service so incase you have a problem then try to avoid going to service center. at the same time i recommend you to buy NOKIA mobile for 995 nokia mobiles are so good and the customer service also so good. i too have now decided to never buy a samsung mobile in the rest of my life. .

              I bought an samsung dual sim phone (gsm and cdma) about a month back from the mobile store in mulund west. Model no: W 259.

              within 3 days the phone stopped working. i gave it to the authorised service centre in mulund west. till 1 week they could not figure out the problem

              they have said it is mother board problem and now after 3 weeks they have not yet handed over the phone as they have to get a new mother board , IMEI number writing etc.

              I will never buy another samsung phone. Such sloppy product and the service centre never calls back to give an update on the phone status. alway we have to call up.

              I bought a samsung mobile not even a year its got stopped suddenly when i was talking, its in a warrenty period, when i gave it to the service centre they are anable to repaire it becoz mother board has been dam aged.They are blaming me that I all ready shown it to the other service centre n according to the terms & condition they cnt repaire it, which is not right n i m extremely disappointed by this behaviour.

                Dear Sir/Madam,
                This is to inform you that, I purchased one refrigerator (Model- RT25M, Model Code- RT25GVPS1/XTL) on 10/01/2007 from M/s The Wings, Samsung Digital Plaza, V N Marg, Balasore which is still under warranty. The said refrigerator started malfunctioning since 19/06/2010.

                I am stating the fact for your reference which is as follows:

                1. Problem developed on 19/06/10. Samsung engineer had attended & found compressor problem, which rectified by your service center engineer on 03/07/10. It took almost 15 days to replace a compressor. Also they had refilled Gas, replaced the relay system etc. for which I had to pay Rs.1000/-.
                2. Within a month, the same problem occurred on 19/07/10. Samsung engineer had attended the problem & found the compressor goes bad once again. They had replaced the compressor on 29/07/10. Again it took almost 10 days to replace only after your intervention.
                3. As per the advice of Samsung service engineers, I even purchased and installed an automatic stabilizer to prevent reoccurrence of the problem.
                4. But again the refrigerator was not functioning since 16/08/10 evening. I booked a complaint at samsung service centre at Balasore vide complaint no. 1807 dated 17/08/10 and vide BP No.[protected].
                5. Samsung engineer attended & repaired the same by changing the filter & re-filling the gas on 22/08/10. It took almost 05 days to set the problem right.
                6. However, the said refrigerator again went dead on 31/08/10. I lodged a complaint at Samsung service centre at Balaosre vide complaint no. 1916 dated 31/08/10 at 10:26AM.
                7. I received a call from one of Samsung customer service cell from Bhubaneswar on 31/08/10 (Mr. Alok Swine, Contact No – [protected]) who had been assured me to provide a stand by refrigerator within next working day & asked me to hand over the original purchase invoice & warranty certificate to the local service engineer (at Balasore, Orissa) who was to visit me on 01/09/10 morning.
                8. Samsung engineer from local service centre visited my house on 01/09/10 at 12:10 PM to whom we have handed over the original purchase invoice & warranty certificate. During his visit he inspected the refrigerator and said that compressor is out of order once again.
                9. The same was informed to Samsung, Bhubaneswar service center (Mr. Alok Swine, Contact No – [protected]) on 01/09/10. He once again assured me to provide a stand by refrigerator by next day as replacement process will take some time.

                Repeated problems with the said refrigerator have caused hardships to me and my family for the last 2 Months. Till date even a standby unit has not been provided.

                You are requested to take the matter with Samsung India seriously as they had committed to arrange for a standby and subsequently a replacement of the unit at the earliest.

                Keeping faith on you I am expecting an early action in this regard.

                  sir,my mobile has been stolen on 5th f september at between 4:00am to 7:00am

                  it contained 8 GB micro card with vodafone sim in it

                  as i was in guwahati(india) for college function purpopse...it lies in assam state which blocks all the outsider's SIM..so my sim was not working their..

                  i posted a FIR regarding this in the nearest station...but the cops say that now it can't b figured out

                    We brought one samsung mobile from Hotspot mobile shop.bill no.[protected] dated 22.11.09 but after 10 month mobile lcd screen's left side many orange colour dots shown. I complain to samsung customer care they told me that " that's is not free repairing we r not given warrenty of lcd i[censored] r paying 1600/- rs. then we are replace of new lcd in your mobile.

                    Samsung Mobile M2710 — 3gp videos cannot be played.

                    i had bought new samsung M2710 mobile few days ago. Some 3gp videos are not playing in my phone & some videos are played. The videos which r not played show following messege "Not supported content".
                    but these videos are played easily in all other mobiles.
                    please tell me what to do ?????????????????????????

                    Samsung Mobile M2710 — No response since 3 months

                    There was motherboard problem with my mobile M2710.
                    I gave it to the service center on jan 5th 2010.Since then they keep on saying you will get it in 15 days each time I visit them.
                    and the same is still continuning.
                    Its still under warranty period.

                      I am Ashish Jain from Kolkata (India). I bought Samsung mobile model no. GT S5233S star on February'2010. The day i bought the phone i have been to samsung service centre for some trouble for 4 times. Now it was off load of such a product i am using, last month i got my phone from samsung service centr after an observation of 20 days. Now not even a month had gone and again a screen touch problem arouse. Its really gatting havoc now.

                      It was surprise to see that after i had a talk to the customer care people and ask for any superior e-mail id they simply said that they dont have any e-mail id to lodge complaint for.

                      Pls help me, else i would be happy to throw your product in any dustbin which is its suitable place.

                        Dear Sir,
                        I was purchased Split AC 1.5 ton for my bedroom in 2005 of SAMSUNG. First of all i want to say that i was fan of samsung, in my house out of 5 TV and LCD there is 4 is samsung, out of 5 AC all is samsung, 2 Refrigerator is samsung and mostly appliences which we are using in our house and office also is SAMSUNG. But very painfully sad to say that the service part is very very extreme bad. I was lodged my complain for my AC on 31st July 2010 vide No. [protected]. After so many phone calls (more than 10-15 calls) to their customer care [protected], which may be noted in their call centre. Finally their technician was visited my place on[protected] and remove the outdoor unit for carry the same in their service centre for repairing vide their work order memo no. PS/AUG/72. Very sorry to say that not a single call i am received from their service centre after taking the outdoor unit, instead of receiving call from your side, i have to follow them to know the status of My AC. Today i had talked to Mr. Shyamal, incharge of service centre and Mr. Majumdar, Head of this region, they told me that there is problem in compressor and we have to change it and your AC model is old and it was manufactured by VOLTAS and marketed by SAMSUNG, so we want some more time to find out the above model compressor.
                        So, please tell me how it will take time to repair my AC. Its already 39 days has gone, and i am still suffering without AC. What was the benefit of purchasing SAMSUNG. My earlier case for 32" LCD is also very bad, which you can check in your service record. For change the panel of LCD your service centre was taken almost 75 days. After a feeling very painfully harrashment from their side, i am written this complain to your website. Please suggest me, what legal action should be taken against the company for their service part, Please help me.

                            WE ARE USING SAMSUNG NICROWAVE SINCE LAST THREE YEARS WE FOUND SOME PROBLEM IN IT. WE LAUNCHED A COMPLAINT IN SAMSUNG SERVICE CENTRE [protected] ON 26TH AUGUST 2010. THE ENGINEER CAME TO OUR HOME & CHECK THE PROBLEM AND TOLD THE MAGNATONE PART WAS BAD AS TOLD BY THE ENGINEER, WE ASKED HIM TO REPLACE THE SAME BUT THE PART WAS NOT WITH HIM SO HE WILL BRING THIS PART FROM THE OFFICE. SINCE THAT DAY WE ARE FOLLOWING UP WITH THE NUMBERS EITHER THE PHONE WAS NOT PICKED UP AND IF IT PICS UP THE RESPONSE WAS THAT YOUR COMPLAINT WILL BE ATTENDED TODAY.

                              Dear sir,

                              I lodged a complain for my Top Loading washing machine (WA75N6Eg1/XTL), which was running but little sound of sparking near the base of machine was there on 23rd of July 2010 (Exact date and complaint no. not remembered), an engineer from sumsung came on 28th of July 2010 he done something and told that some wire was loose and now it'll work but due to power cut I was not able to run the machine, so I written on the engineer's feed back form " subject to trial ", and paid him service charge of Rs. 276, the engineer also gave me a number ([protected], suraj singh) and told that in case of any problem you call me I'll solve that. Same day when I start the machine that was moving in uni-direction and only start and stop button was responding. so next day I called on the same number, and response was "yes I am from samsung but not that person who has visited to you". when I told him the problem, he guided me that kindly register another complaint to customer care then we can help you. so, I made a complaint on[protected] vide complaint no. [protected] on 2nd of August 2010, after 2 days an engineer came and checked the machine and told "Controller card is not working, you have to replace with new card and you have to pay Rs. 750" I told fine, and he also told it will take a time of one week, after 10 or 12 day I again called to customer care and told that no one is updating me, so same day I received a call and the person says that it will take another 5-6 days, next day a person came from samsung and removed the card and told that I am taking this to know the model, he has not given any receipt for the card. after that I am calling again and again but no response from the service center has been given, now I dont know what to do and where to call. I never expected this type of response from samsumg

                                We had bought Samsung series 5, 40" screen LCD TV; while installing the service engineer from samsung noticed that the cable input lead is broken. This has happened around a month back, and since then we haven't heard from the company again. They aren't willing to change the set. How can a company be trusted if they do such things. I would want that there shall be system to revoke credit payments of such companies who cheat customers by delivering faulty products.

                                  I have purchased on Samsung TV (Vision Plus model) in June 1999. Till 2008 it was working good. After that red colour is gradually decreasing. We hae given complaint to Samsung customer care. Executive came and some work was done and changes around Rs. 3000. After that is was ok for few months.

                                  In 2008 November onwards, picture is coming delay. (ones we starts picture will appears delay, gradually it was increasing the time) Finally picture is not appearing upto 1/2 day. I have given complaint, executive says that the picture tube problem.

                                  I am planning to change the picture tube. Please suggested where i can get it and how to proceed.

                                    This is again for your kind considerations please that i bought "Samsung-Micro oven(Model No.CE 1031LFB) on dtd. 17th Oct.'09 & suddenly it's inner side- light has gone out & so,we unable to see the activites of inner side at the time of preparation any food.As usual compalined to the dealer :"Kejari Wal Sales",Renukoot.Sonebhadra.U.P.(Authorised dealer's name Mr. Anoop Kejriwal,Mob#[protected])before two weeks ago. Service Engr. has come to attend the complain and he said that the bulb is fused and have to relpace.He assured me for replcement with 3-4 days but unfortunately 10 days past nobody has come & we are unable to operate the Micro Oven.

                                    We are also getting another important unhygenic probelem :The Ceramic Cavity is slowly damaging and chips are falling over the food at the time preparation of foods in the oven.Where Samsung assured & patent for it's hygenic Ceramic unscratched Cavity.While we only use soft/mild detergent & follow the steam wash also for cleaning the cavity.

                                    Sir,i am waiting for your prompt & logical reply.If the probelem presists for my perticular set then immediately replace the set.Unsatisfactory reply will be not entertained & could be pursue the complain to C.O.O-Samsung Group.

                                      Undersigned has purchase SAMSUNG MOBILE(touch screen) model samsung S5233 S and Invice no PB5429 form THE MOBILE STORE,Gandhi Chowk,Pathankot,Phone No:[protected] on 15-Nov-2009.

                                      I found that mobile touch sreen is not working fron 27-Aug-2010 and same same day contact withTHE MOBILE STORE,Gandhi Chowk,Pathankot, he sent to me at authorised samsung mobile repair center " NAYER MOBILE REPAIR servive center,back side Indian color center,(QSS),Dhangu Road,Pathankot(PB).
                                      I have met with Mr.Amit Nayer 2 times ,but he refuse to service it. After that I have contact with your service area manager Mr Rahul on 30-AUG-2010. And also 31-AUG-2010 at 3.00 PM I have contacted with him .He has not given positive response.

                                      Please advice to concern person to solve the problem ,The mobile is in warranty period.

                                      Please reply as earliest.If you will not solve the problem within legal permitted days then I shall be free to go for further action .

                                        Hi,

                                        I registered this complaint (No#[protected]) around 10 Days(29 Aug 2010) back as my Refridgerator was not working. After registering this complaint, an engineer visited our place and cheked the Refridgerator and told us that it was due to Gas Leakage and he will be sending another engineer to refill the Gas but no one came. Then I called your Samsung Service center again at[protected] and asked them to please send some one to repair my fridge. Another engineer came after that and he refilled the Gas but my refridgerator didnt work, then they check it again and found that Thermostat was damaged and they bypassed the Thermostat and setup my fridge in Direct Mode. I asked them to please replace my Thermostat as well and they said that it will be replaced by another engineer (Strange!!!!)(This Engineer visited on 31/08/2010). I waited for few days but no one came then I called up again at[protected] and I asked them to send some one to replace Thermostat, the representative there told me that he is putting my reqest on priority and arranging call back for me but I didnt get any call however another engineer visited my place on 04/09/2010 and looked at the fridge, noted few things and told me that some one will visit on 06/09/2010 and will repair it. But again no one came on Monday as well and when I called customer care, they told me that they are going to put my request on an urgent priority and arrangig call back for me.. but as usual no call and no one came to repair my fridge. Now I have few questions
                                        1. What is a time estimate for a repair ? It is more that 10 Days when I registered my complaint and still waiting ?
                                        2. When the Thermostat was damaged, why Gas was refilled ? Looks like they made fool of me and charged 800/- for gas refill while the issue was with Thermostat ?

                                        I am requesting you to please provide an update on above complaint number as soon as possible.

                                        I have given complain regarding refregerator not cooling on 26/12/2009.
                                        My complain no. is [protected].Technician came and told us on 26/12/2009 that referigerator has to be taken out to workshop for repair as it is having some gas related problem. SRA 18 RED. on dated 15-may-2002 from your authorized dealer M/S BATRA BROTHERS Delhi road Sonipat (Haryana) . but in last year i.e 2009 my refrigerator compressor is replaced for three times as its found to be faulty one and every time it has been installed by your Samsung service center person of rewari as now I’m residing in Rewari Distt. (Haryana). but sir I’m not understanding that why umpteen number of times same fault has been found even after that I have talked to Samsung service center rewari but I did not get any reliable answer from them .so sir I’m under heavily pressure as it results in loss off my time and money as every time I have to pay gas filling and service charge to your Samsung service person. So sir I request you take some corrective action on it. otherwise I have to knock the door of consumer court against M/S SAMSUNG ELECTRONICS INDIA. and in addition to it I am going take this matter to NATIONAL BUSINESS NEWS CHANNEL CNBC AWAZZ .

                                        on 24- July- 2010I have given my Samsung mobile for servicing to the Sumsung Service Centre - SCO 35, Main Huda Market, Sec -31, Gurgaon.

                                        They told me that they will return my mobile after two days as it was having a small problem.

                                        but till today everyday they just say that they didnt checked my mobile. and on 28- July -2010 they say that they will take three more days.
                                        I am really fed up with this type of attitude of them.

                                        respected sir i took my refrigerator on18/03/2006 from shop naming skylark at kalyan
                                        my model no was RT23 first few it was all ok but then gradually the problems started i called up at service centre but they were reluctant i logged a complaint no[protected] weeks passed but no body came to solve my problem then last fortnight a guy came did nothing with my fridge simply noted something and went back,since that day everyday i am calling the service center but nobody is coming to repair my refrigerator plz do needful

                                        i lodged a compliant on 14.11.2011 for non functioning of my Double door refrigerator with Godrej smart care over phone. on the same.evening a service engineer visited my house and said to have rectified faulty wiring and charged me with Rs.350/- which i had paid under Call no.626483. believing that my refrigerator is serviced, i had bought various perishables and stored in the refrigerator. To my astonishment, on 16.11.2011 morning, i found that the entire freezing compartment got burnt and immediately switched off power supply to the refrigerator and informed the incident to godrej smartcaree on 16.11.2011 itself.

                                        Once again the service engineer had visited and caused the refrigerator to be shipped to their servicing centre in nellore on my cost. After receiving the unit at servicing centre, the servicing engineer declared that the refrigerator is beyond economic repair. and suggested me that i can get Rs. 800/- for the scrap.

                                        Aggrieved by the demeanor , i requested him(Service engineer by name T.madhu)).to provide his survey report. he has suggested me to contact Godrej smartcare centre.

                                        Again, i contacted the Godrejsmartcare centre on 19.11.2011 for redressal of my compliant which is yet to be addressed by them

                                        i expect a positive reply at the earliest.
                                        I have purchased a 315 liter samsung refrigeator in 2010.and this is not working after 5to6 month.i had made complaint in samsung service centre . enginer has visited my place but it is not repaird properly again same problem genareted.
