i bought my top loading washing machine of samsung Silver Nano model in 2006. on 2nd of august'2010 some problem occured and the machine stopped working. serviceman from the company told that the electronic panel is not working and they have to send it to delhi and it would take 15 days. after 10 days i called them for the progress and that time they are saying, due to unavailibility of the part they won't be able to repair and they will take the machine back and refund me only if i produce my invoice. Due to shifting of my house i forgot where have i kept the invoice..... but i have all the receipts which i have take from the dealer. i have provided all the information to the dealer from last one week and no results are coming... i have also bought microwave oven of samsung and now i am facing the problem of non cooperation from the company itself...

    Hi,

    I am Vijay Kumar M. I have a concern regarding the refund amount of Rs.14,998.00 by indiatodaybookclub.

    Mohmad from INDIATODAYBOOKCLUB called me saying that I have an offer of getting SAMSUNG OMNIA PRO (B7320) for Rs.14,998.00. The agent (Mohmad) has promised me on telephone that I will be getting cash back of Rs.50,000.00 by ICICI Bank cheque along with the courier for the products I purchased so far from india today bookclub. I have recieved the product without any cheque in it.

    I have sent the product back via BlueDart Courier on 7th May 2010.

    I have requested for the refund amount to my ICICI account and have been following it from 7th May. They promise me everytime that within 21 working days my amount will be credited but its 102 days as of 25th Aug 2010. However, their response is same everytime I remind regarding this. Below is their response:

    With reference to your mail, we would like to inform you that your complaint has been already forwarded to our concerned department on urgent basis. We will get back to you with positive response once we receive a revert from the same.

      Sub: Faulty Air-Conditioner and unsatisfactory after-sales service / dealer behavior

      Ref: AC 184EWBN (4Star 1.5 Ton Split) Samsung purchased from M/s Ruchika Sales Pvt. Ltd. (Ranchi, Jharkhand) vide their invoice No. RSPL 329 dated 28.04.2010

      I purchased a Samsung AC of above reference from M/s Ruchika Sales Pvt Ltd, Sarda Sadan, Niwaranpur, Ranchi, Jharkhand on 28 April 2010.

      We would like to inform you that the AC has not been working for the last 4 months since its installation in May’10. Initially, we were informed by the dealer’s engineer that there was no gas in the AC and it required a gas-refilling. After repeated reminders on the Samsung Toll Free No.[protected], the AC was taken to the service station for gas-refilling.

      Even after gas-refilling, the AC didn’t work. After repeated requests to the dealer at his office / over telephone, their mechanic inspected the AC and had stated that the compressor of the machine was faulty. In spite of various efforts by the dealer’s / service centre engineers to repair the AC, the AC is still not functional.

      On seeing the problems in new AC and unsuccessful numerous repair efforts of the engineers, we requested the dealer to either replace the AC with a new one / refund the entire money back to us. The dealer agreed to our request and verbally assured us that the money would be refunded once their authorized officials signed the cheque.

      We would like to inform you that the dealer, during our last visit to his office for collecting the refund cheque, denied us the refund and stated that we would have to take the same faulty AC back after their engineers repaired it.

      We requested the dealer that the said AC, which was not functioning right from date of installation, had undergone lot o[censored]nsuccessful repair exercises and we were not comfortable with using the same. Instead of keeping up with his promise, the dealer behaved very indecently and refused us the refund on some unreasonable arguments.

      Since the purchase, the AC has not performed upto the standards for a single day. We are completely unsatisfied with the AC and services of the dealer. The most sorry part of the entire episode was that the only objective of the dealer was to sell the AC rather that building the brand name and customers. The dealer is bringing disrepute to the brand name of "SAMSUNG".

      We request you to replace the faulty AC and take some action on the dealer. Communication from your end would be highly appreciated.

        i m not able to delete all contacts from sim card...it needs a password that i don't know...It is a default password because i never set any kind of password in my mobile...so may be there is a pre defined password...what that may be ?

        I want to set a password for my samsung E2021. But it is asking to put a password which is already exist. That must be the default password. I would like to know the password.

          My A/m Monitor(sl no HA19H9FQ634521) went U/S 3 months back. After 2-3 futile visitssamsung technician I was informed that they will refund my money. Repeated call to banglore repair center give me same old reply that your refund is in progress. will be intimated to you soon but 1 and half month passed but no progress. I have contacted undermentioned people repeatedly at Bangalore service center.

          Did you got the reply/justice for the failure. Because I also facing same type problem with samsung. LCD 945 monotor twice failed Now they are telling the same story of refund. but I am not agreeing for refund. Why customer has to pay for Samsung failure?             Problem of TV started on 11.08.2010 Complaint registered on tollfree number. No problem solved upto 3 rd September 2010 i.e. today either part is not available or will come shortly.

              i have bought new samsung monte from themobilestore , i got wrong headset from mobile box but the mobilestore showed me different headset before purchasing. when i complained to them and said to send the headset to samsung for changing it. They didn't cooperate with me ,and didn't do any favor to me.
              I have a bought a samsung monte 5620 mobile . faced a complaint that is, some time, a message apeared 'remove sim card and reboot the mobile, then open no sim mode, after some time everything ok, please advice me .

                i bought samsung mobile model no. S3500 on 19 june 2009 from hotspot(spice retail ltd, munirka, new

                delhi. On 18 august 2010 phone hanged and i tried many methods like removing battery and restarting

                many times but it did not worked. all applications were taking too much time to open like phone book

                etc. i knew that there was soething wrong with the phone software so next morning(19 aug 2010) i

                went to authorised service centre Electro serve centre at B-27(basement) Moti Nagar, new delhi

                110015. . they opened my mobile and told me that motherboard

                is faulty without checking it with any instruments. when i told them please upgrade the software of

                this mobile, and they agreed and told me the charges are Rs 110 and wait for 1 hour and there was

                not any rush over there and my token no. was 1 and it was rainy day. after 1 hour at 11:30am i asked

                one of their employee about status of my phone and he told me that server is down and software

                cannot be upgraded then i went to the engineer and he told me that software has been upgraded and

                phone is not working and motherboard is faulty and it will charge Rs 3000 to replace the

                motherboard, this thing aroused suspicion in me bcos one is telling server is down and other is

                saying its been done so one thing was clear that they did nothing after opening my mobile and kept

                me waiting for 1 hour and when i told him to check the phone properly and i will come next day and

                tell me the status to me over the phone. next day when i called them they told me that motherboard

                is faulty and need to be replaced and it will charge Rs 3000. then i went there and refused them

                that i don't want to change the motherboard as it too costly for me and i collected my mobile and

                they charged me Rs 85 for inspection charges and i paid the charges and i went to my local market

                and shopkeeper(technician) after checking the mobile(without opening it) told me that phone software

                need to be installed again (i told him nothing that i went to authorise service centre) and after

                installing the software the phone worked and its been 3 days and phone is working fine.
                I want to know are they (authorised sevice centre) not looting customers in

                the name of authorised service centres bcos people trust these centres bcos these centres represent

                companies and people trust these centres blindly. i want you to take actions against these centres

                and cancel their licences and i request you to forward this mail to higher authorities. One thing is

                sure i am not going to buy samsung phone next time. our local market technicians are much better

                engineers than cheap and uneducated engineers of authorised centres and this also depends on the

                owner of these authorised service centres who wants to do malpractices and wants to cheat customers.

                  I have purchased samsung wave gt-8500 just 20 days back and i had given the handset to service centre two times in these 20-25 days.I hardly used the handset as these guys does not give the resolution before 5 to 7 days and Now the issue is as they are not replacing the handset with a new one.They are always fidgeting with the same piece and giving back to me.Is this right.Factory assembled pieces are very much different and these guys manually do the RND on the handsets.First I had mic problem and now it is heating and battery problem.What they are saying is they will replace the entire machine of the handset with a new one and I don't think so because these guys are not trust worthy according to me.I don't know what to do and were to go.Does samsung provide the motherboards and all to the service centres.Does anybody has an idea.These guys have already damaged the body of the handset liittle bit.This shows that these guys are not qualified enough.My 18000/- rupees has gone for a toss.Please anybody help me.
                  Even though the model is really worth the money, I totally agree with you when it comes to after sales support.In my case the service center engineer tampered with the mother board and also damaged the outer case.. and when i took it to another authorised service center, they said that since the board is tampered, it is now out of warranty and they gave me an estimate of Rs 6200 excluding the service charge..

                  I would advice you to write to support.[protected]@samsung.com clearly mentioning the problem. because without any intervention from the top, these people will keep on delaying the return of the handset
                  I really regreet having bought this phone, it sucks, the app market sucks has nothing interesting in it, the best apps are for other plattforms as BADA sucks too, it is a waste buying this phone, it looks nice and the only nice thing that is has is the video quality and screen but that other phones have . I`ll sell this phone to buy another one which have whatsapp, and other nice apps .
                  Hi, I realy agree with you . I have a samsung wave 525 and have ust it abt 4 months back and in the very first month had an issue with the microphone. THey got is services in a day but again they have tampered and damaged the area around the connecter and is compeltely scratched. Now again a new issue has come up where the times keeps changing but its own to an hour ahead and i have manually reset it again and the next day same thing, Its a good phoen with awesome looks but the OS on thisphone sucks plus there are no apps or themes or any games still launched for this unit though it has been so long that the phone is launched. And most of the formats for videos and movies are just unsuppoted. I have been not able to download even a single movie on my handset till now. I'l try wring to the email the other guy has mentioned. Thankx.

                        I bought Samsung Washing machine on[protected]. Demo person came on 26th July to show the demo. During the demo section the representative was not clear and he was not patient enough to explain things. After that I didn't have chance o[censored]sing my washing machine since I was not in the station. Yesterday ( 21/08/2010 ) I turned on my washing machine and found that it is not working. I called thrice the customer care and the customer care executives are not polite and not ready to give the answers patiently. I asked for the technician visit and got the complaint number as BP No : [protected] .The customer care executive promised that I will be receiving call from the service division before 8.30 P.M. I got the same answer when i called thrice. But i didn't receive any call from anywhere. I again called today ( 22/08/2010 ) to find out the status. Another agent said that due to sunday service division is closed and said that they will come on next day. This can't be acceptable. It's totally ridiculous. Overall I had a very bad experience from Samsung. Same will be posted in the consumer complaints website. This will be posted in all major blogsters until my issue is resolved.

                          i had purchased samsung syncmaster 20" tft monitor on 18/05/2010.
                          from one month a permanent blue line is coming on the screen.
                          i have reported this to samsung complaint cell also.
                          my request no.is [protected]. engineer visited and suggested to replace the tft.
                          proposed date of the engineer visit was 16/08/2010.
                          till 22/08/2010 no body is visited to me.
                          helpline assurence is also false.
                          kindly help me and make some pprovisions to replace mt tft monitor.

                            Hi,

                            I have purchased the samsung mobile C6112 on 17 July 2010 from Ameerpet, Hyderabad. The set got dead in 2 weeks and did not switch on afterwards. I have given it to the Samsung service center located at Elephant House , Ameerpet, Hyderabad on 7 Aug 2010. The service center executive told me that if it is a software problem then it would be fixed in 7 days and if it is a hardware problem then it will take 2 weeks, and they will call me in 3 days and inform me how many days it will take to fix the problem. I have not received any call from them and then I called them after 5 days if there is any update on my handset problem status. The executive told me that they don't have any update at that time but it will take 2 weeks to get back the handset and they will contact me once handset is fixed.
                            Now 2 weeks are already over and I have not received any call from them. When I called them on 20 july 2010 and 21 july 2010 they are just saying that they have no update and they will let me know, but no one is bothered to give me a call. Even if I call them , they transfer the call to different executives and it takes at least 4-5 minutes everytime to describe the problem.
                            Still waiting for the call from them.
                            Samsung India customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.

                              i have purchased brand new SAMSUNG CORBY SCHF339 at their shimoga show room M/s ATM Communication, S M Circle,Shimoga on 10/02/2010 vide reciept no.1420 for Rs.9000/- + Rs.150/- for sim. While boarding Delhi metro train some one picked my mobile handset 6th July 2010, i have filed police complaint at I P Extension, Police Station,New Delhi-110092 about theft of my samsung mobile handset. then after approached shimoga mobile handset dealer and also samsung company to look in to the matter to reiumburse new handset in lien of lost handset basing on police FIR during the warrantee period. Then SAMSUNG INDIA quoted me an Reference No.[protected] to communicate further in this regard. But since now they have wrote in a single line nor take further action about availability of theft insurance etc.

                              Therefore i request your good offices, please look in to the matter and take enquiry with SAMSUNG INDIA basing on their reference no.[protected] sent to me.

                                I have Purchased a fridge in the month of June 2010.

                                One day when I opened the door whole door was detach with the fridge(The top of the Fridge may be slightly up automaticlly so the needle PIn left the original space)

                                I have lodged the complaint at Dealer someone but no action is taken till date.

                                kindly replace my freigde ASAP

                                    I would like to lodge an urgent compliant regarding a Samsung AC that my father, Tapan Kumar Barua, purchased in Guwahati on 04 June 2009. The AC was bought from a Samsung dealer, Classic, located on Moniram Dewan Road.

                                    Details of the AC:

                                    Type : Window AC, 1.5 ton
                                    Model no. : AWT18ZKA
                                    Product serial no. : A176PZBQ506493V

                                    The AC has been very noisy from the time it was fitted 14 months ago. A complaint was lodged with the local Samsung customer complaint service at that time but they claimed that this was ‘normal’.

                                    Earlier this month, the AC started to malfunction - the compressor kept going off repeatedly. A complaint was lodged through your all India customer service telephone number but there was no response from your team. On 13 August, another complaint was made to the head office - complaint no. [protected]. Despite repeated calls subsequently, Samsung sent a technician only 5 days later on the 18th. He said that the compressor was damaged and that it would have to be replaced. And for this, my father would have to pay Rs 2500 as service charges.

                                    The compressor has now been taken to be replaced. Although an assurance has been provided that by 21 August, the AC would be returned with a new compressor, it is highly unlikely given Samsung’s disgraceful performance in addressing customer complaints.

                                    I would, therefore, like to raise the following issues:

                                    1. Why did it take more than 5 days to send a technician to the customer’s house despite repeated calls?
                                    2. Why is the customer made to pay Rs 2500 for a product that is proclaimed to have full replacement warranty especially when it breaks down in the second season after mere 14 months of its installation? Isn’t Samsung liable for giving a product that is clearly sub-standard?

                                    My parents have been using ACs for the past 40 years. It is for the first time that they have encountered such a shockingly substandard product and such poor customer service. It is with disgust that I write this letter to one of the most hyped companies in the country. If the matter is not addressed soon, we will be forced to take more serious measures for customer harassment.

                                    We run a Service Apartment in Bangalore and we own 30 Samsung Split Air Conditioners.We are having numerous complaints about water/ice leakage.We have complained to the Samsung Service center through their Toll free no[protected] and their landline no[protected]. Our Complaint no [protected] which is over a month old. In spite of repeatedly lodging our complaint there has been no response.The complaint cell informs us that the complaint has been forwarded to the Service department and that their work is over(virtually).The ball is in the court of the Service Department who we cannot reachThe technician who had serviced our complaint about one month back did some tampering and told us that the problem has been solved. But our guest complained the very next day. We directly telephoned the technician Mr Haribabu (Mob - [protected]) who has not shown his face since.                                         i had purchased samsung 20" syncmaster TFT Monitor on 18/05/2010 from naveen computers,AGRA..
                                        there is a permanent blue line appearing on the screen.
                                        this problem is from one month.
                                        its already almost one month since i filed a comlaint on tollfree helpline no.[protected]

                                        Engineer (MR. JAIN) visited to my home on 7th of august2010 if iam not wrong. He said that the problem is serious and the monitor needs to be replaced.
                                        for this he gave us 8 days. his proposed date of visit was 16th of august. but i didnt get any response from anywhere.
                                        iam continuously reporting to helpline. there assurance always results false.Iam also contacted to engineer but i got casual negative response from him.
                                        no service center response ...no engineer response...
                                        iam having threee products of samsung...a TV/AC/TFTMONITOR .
                                        Dissapointed with the response of the service center.
                                        can u still expect brand loyalty form me?
                                        kindly look into the matter and provide early relief.

                                        its the third time im complaining in the consumer complaint forum, for a problem in my SAMSUNG tft monitor which i had purchased on 18/05/2010.
                                        a permanent blue line is coming on the monitor. ITS A MATTER OF GREAT SHAME FOR SAMSUNG service center and cusomer care.
                                        i have been regularly complaining for the replacement since 3rd august 2010 ON THE HELPLINE NO AND CUSTOMER CARE.. [protected]/[protected]. my requestno. is - [protected].
                                        but they have become shameless now.
                                        im now a grieved customer. ENGINEER IS NOT VISITING ME. no body is responding me.
                                        GREAT SHAME TO SAMSUNG MANAGEMENT.
                                        iam helpless.I LOST MY PATIENCE.
