I am Indranil Dasgupta residing in Kolkata. I am having literal bad experience with Samsung after sales. I am using Samsung 1.5T Window AC purchased on 16/8/2009 from Kolkata. At the time of buying I was said that I will be provided 3 free services, which was never attended. I lodged a complaint of non-cooling on 30/7/2010. After every day followup, the machine was taken to Samsung's local service center on 7/8/10 saying that gas has leaked & will take 6-8 days. From one week later every 2 to 3 days I am calling the service center or the helpline no., but no one is responding properly. Every time I am said that it will take one week more. The helpline people every time says that they will arrange a callback from the service dept within a couple of hours, but in vain. Lastly, again when I called the local service provider of Samsung on 27/8/10, I was told by Mr.Tuhin Mondal that it will take another 15 days. I got the no. of Samsung's local Area Service Manager, Mr.Ismail Khan([protected]) & called him. When I called him, his immediate reply was to call after a few days. I asked him to give some other officials number if he is busy. He replied back in local language saying who the hell I was to ask for numbers. I was shocked to hear him talk like this. I asked him that I am suffering & need to talk with someone who can give me a better picture. He replied back saying to find it from whom I got his number. I again said him this is not the proper way to talk, he replied back saying me to do whatever I liked and disconnected the phone. I am really upset now & wondering what a wrong decision I have made purchasing three Samsung home appliances for my family during the last one year after returning to Kolkata. I have a son of two years who has developed rashes all over his body due to the hot & humid conditions in Kolkata. I never understood that this is the culture of Samsung. My last option remains to go to consumer forum.
