I bought a Samsung Mobile Omnia Pro-II Model: GT B_7610. On its sale this mobile in its pack is though supplied with OS WM 6.1 but as per its specifications OS of the mobile is upgradable to WM 6.5. I have called the helpline of the manufacturer more than 3 dozen times as well as posted my request and complaint on their website several times but to no avail. As for the complaints on web the host does not give any log no of the complaint and there is no way to track ones complaint on the website of the host company. I feel like taking this matter to consumer forum against the company. Can this forum help in the matter.

    samsung metro 3310 — NOT repairing during warranty period

    I have bought a SAMSUNG 3310 phone and itś mother board failed in 2 month and I send it t service center of SAMSUNG and they are saying 1days 2 days 7 days 10 days but 30 days are over but they are not giving by set, I told them to give back my set so I can make service from other center, but they are not giving my set back.

      1) Since we had decided to buy a Microwave as we had invited Guest on Sunday and had made all arrangements for giving them a treat with Microwave cooked food we bought the microwave on Saturday itself i.e. on 03/07/2010 as Anandamela Salesman told us that if we pay by Cash the product will be delivered the next day and the demo will also be given the same day of the product delivery but if we pay by Cheque the same process will take place at least 3 days for the chqeue to be cleared and the microwave will be only delivered thereafter.

      2) To our disappointment the Microwave oven was not only delivered very late on Sunday but neither the demo could take place as promised by Anandamela inspite of many phone calls to them.

      3) When we called up Anandamela to know the reason why they did not send the technician as they promised , they denied the fact that they had committed that the technician will give us the demo the very next day. We even clarified the position from them that next Monday being a Bundh could it be possible for the Demo on Sunday itself. Only upon their assurance that I purchased the Microwave paying by Cash- or else I would have preferred to pay by cheque and the product would have reached me on Tuesday or so and the demo would have followed on Wednesday.

      4) What surprised me was that the Anandamela people who delivered the Microwave oven to my residence were in a hurry to leave as soon as they dumped the product in my house. Never gave me a chance to open the box and check what it contained. When I asked those people that want you open the box and show me whether you have delivered what I purchased they said the person who will come for demo will do the needful.

      I felt quite suspicious about the delivery man’s behavior so I was compelled to open the Box to find out whether the Item delivered was exactly what I had ordered. To my dismay I was shocked to notice the following:-

      1) The door of the Microwave oven was broken.
      2) There was no glass plate inside the box.
      3) No guarantee/warrantee card inside the box.

      We tried calling Anandamela but there was no response from them.

      5) In between I had fallen very ill and was on strong antibiotic for viral fever . So I could not take up the matter.
      You being an organization of repute I sincerely hope that I would be benevolent enough to treat a customer graceful and arrange to replace the Microwave oven soon.

      Samsung — defective microwave

      i had bought a samsung microwave on 15 august 2008.
      ceramic paint coating in interior was chipped.
      company service engineer was called.
      he categorized it as manufacturing defect.
      complaint lodged against bp no[protected].
      3 reminders forwarded, no response or call.

        Dear Sir,

        We bought a Sansung Refrigerator in 2005. While under warranty we reported to them that the refrigerator gets too hot on the sides (their claim is that it gets warm and there is a difference between warm & hot). Their service guy (Kiran Rana) without checking told us it is not a problem. Then we reported a problem with freezer door. Even after paying service charge, Kiran Rana told us we should go to the store, buy a new one and put it on ourselves. After that on 21/7/2010 we reported that there was smell of gas and some kind of burning smell from the refrigerator. We also told them not to send Kiran Rana. Still they sent Kiran Rana who refused to accept that there was gas smell or burning smell because we believe that this is part of the original problem reported under warranty and they didn't want to replace it under warranty.

        We therefore request that the full price that we paid for the refrigerator (Rs 9500) MUST be refunded and be compensated for deliberate bad service and inconvenience leading to unnecessary stress. We believe such punishment will only prevent such unethical practices in future.

          I bought this mobile 2 months back and all of a sudden I found that I am unable to access the messages.
          I bought my samsung corby pro nearly two months back, it started hanging and I cant access my messgaes..I tried to go to messgaes...initialising is being displayed..I dont understand how worse is the software in this..
          i also havin d same problem..
          now i m also facing same problem in my handset...can anyone tell me how can i resovle it?
          m also facing same problem...jst two months back i have purchased ds cellphone...nd now cant access message and its hanging all d time...trying to open message...bt is saying intilalising all d time...how to resolve...any suggestions
          Iam also facing the same problem with my handset.Did anyone find any solution
          Same here.. Also touch screen has slowed down like hell..
          mine too.. though the trick doesn't work for me, some suggest to insert your SIM to a diiferent mobile and delete any Broken message sitting in you SIM, specifically from IRCTC.

            Dear Samsung,

            I have purchased a Samsung refrigerator Model: (RT24M 0577) RT24BDMA1/ XTL (model number not reflecting in your present series) by one of your reputed authorised dealer at Mayur Vihar i.e., Neha Electronics on 23.06.2010. The said refrigerator was delivered at my residence on 24.06.2010 and started its operation as per your instructions manual and as per the advice of dealer’s executive. Unfortunately, since the day of purchase the said refrigerator is giving improper cooling and discharge huge amount of water which get scatter on the floor. For this malfunction I have several times lodged complaint at your customer complaint number – 30308282 but unfortunately at every occasion your on-line technical support executives instead of visiting in-person for inspection start giving instructions to resolve the complaint on phone which causes huge mental agony and harassment. I have purchased this product because of your company reputation in consumer goods and after sales service. I also spoke to your authorised dealer about the same malfunction and he confirmed that the product has manufacturing defect and adviced to approach the company for replacement since he can’t address my grievance. Since the model number (printed on refrigerator) is not reflecting in your list of current series I fear that your authorised dealer has sold me old model.

            It is submitted that I am suffering hardships since the day of purchase of refrigerator as the same is working abnormally and having serious manufacturing defects and further you have completely failed to address the manufacturing defects in your product. Therefore, you are requested to either replace the said defective refrigerator with any other present model or refund the present price of the refrigerator immediately.

              I had bought a samsung mobile on B3410 on 13/01/2010. The phone used to get switched off on it's own.
              Then i visited the samsung service center BIR ELECTRONICS, G.S ROAD, CHRISTIANBASTI, GHY-5.
              The representative over there said that it would take two days for repairing the mobile.
              After two days i went there and collected my mobile. After using my mobile for two hours, the problem continues.
              when i went back again to the service centre the service representative name ARIF was quite arrogant in talking with me...
              He didn't have any manners to talk.. Then when i asked when is my mobile going to be repaired, he was quite rude towards me. i can never tolerate this kind o[censored]ncivilised behaviour of a customer care person.
              I want my mobile to be repaired as soon as possible and i want that some actions should be taken against the customer support representative as i earlier mentioned

                I purchased samsung SGH 3310 METRO mobile on[protected] and it has some speaker(Ear Piece) problem and I lodged the complaint on 06 july at service centre of samsung on address-1st floor plot No.221,Besariya complex Behind Jyoti shopping complex Zone-1 MP Nagar Bhopal but they are saying that it has some mother board problem and which is unavailable with them.From the last 15- days they are repeating the same problem ie motherboard is unavailable.This is very disappointing from a brand like Samsung to have such poor and careless service.Also employees are not coperating and center seems like a frish market with no ornisation.Also it made me to Re-think about this brand and services what u are commiting in future also.I would you to improve your overall services as it will affect ur brandname in this scenario of competion among loads of brands dealing in same field.I dont think so that 15 days are sufficient solve such kind of problem.And Please guide me what to do.

                    I bought a corby pro mobile (B5310) IMEI no. : [protected] from Samsung plaza at sector 18 noida on 5th April’2010. But after 2 months suddenly the mobile stopped working. I gave my mobile on 21st June’2010 for repair at GNH Telecom ltd, sector-27, Noida ( Samsung authorized Service centre).

                    Initially they were not able to detect the fault and asked me to enquire after 2-3 days. When I enquired about my phone they said its motherboard is not functioning properly and need to be replaced and will take 2-3 days for replacement. But then after 3 days they asked for 1 week more and then again and again they are extending the time and ignoring my calls.

                    This is not it, whenever I try to call the service centre, the phone is switched off( Phone Number: [protected]/08). Only from 1:40 to 2:15 the phone rings and even then they don’t lift it of just rejects the call and whenever they lift the phone they say it will take 4 more days to repair your phone as the service centre main office is not supplying the motherboard for your phone). I tried to call their head Mr. Shobhit( Mobile number: [protected]) but he never lifts the phone. I have searched all the contact numbers available on internet for GNH telecom Noida and tried calling each and every number but they never attend my call.

                    I called the Samsung service centre noida head office on 32328080 and talked to many people many times they called back too but they were not able to solve my problem. They gave me Mr. Sandeep’s number ([protected]) I called Mr.Sandeep he talked to me once and asked me to message him my phone details; I did that immediately but no action was taken. Now I call him again many times and even he is not lifting my phone.

                    This is really shameful. Then I am really disappointed with SAMSUNG products and services. And I will never buy a SAMSUNG Product.

                    I am really fed up now its more than a month my phone is not working or your Service centre people are using my phone and not returning it to me.

                        I purchased latest Samsung corby pro.On the first day of purchase the battery dried out in just one hour. I thought it may be not charged fully but again on the second day the battery dried out in just 2 hrs and even during call the mobile got heated up like anything. I have make a call to customer care and explain the problem they give the address of Customer service center. When i reached there i was surprised that the service center timing is 9 to 6, monday to saturday. So in the office hrs. So it was very difficult to me to take out time and submit the mobile. Finally after 20 days of purchase on a Saturday i have managed the time to go to samsung service center. SIm solutions in Rohini sector 8. At very first sight i am surprised to see the cervice center of samsung. It is just like a Sabzi mandi. The executive lounge is airconditioned but the customer lounge having two fans, 40~50 people are sitting there and waiting for there turn. I have reached there at 11:30 am and waiting for my turn.They have given me a token no 30. and current token is 15. Atfter 1 hr of wait still the token no 15 is in progress. when i go to receptionist and ask how much time it takes. Then she shouted at me and angrily said" it may take another 2 hrs and more they cant tell me exact timings i have to wait. So this is Samsung Customer service. But because i have done a mistake my purchasing samsung mobile i have to wait. So finally 3 hrs of wait its my turn. The executive said there is a problem in mother board and it will take 25 days. I was again surprised. When i ask them that what will i do for 25 days give me some alternative mobile then they refused to do do. They said if you have proble you can fmreely talk to customer care or go to Nehru place. After so much of waiting i do not have the energy to go to Nehru place. I understand they are fearless and way they are talking to customers and rediculas.
                        Then asked to replace my mobile because the problem is from the first day but i am able to come to service centre after 20 days. but the samsung policy is 7 days. So i have given the mobile and god knows when it can be repaired.
                        While coming i told the manager their that this is not the kind of service a customer s expecting from you we have spent the money thats why we are shouting. The answer from the manager, "Medical ja kar dekho (AIMS hospital) hazaro log neeche bagair pankhe ke pade rehte hai aap 2 ghante garmi mein nahi khade ho sakte".
                        It was enough for me, i understood that there is no gain in complaining about the poor service,
                        The same experienced i felt with the every person in the service center and i can said with very much confidence that nobody present in that room will purchase the Samsung product again.
                        After all this drama i came back home. but still i am very much upset with the services i got. What was my fault ? i have spent 10000 rupees, I have right to complaint, Then i have call to customer care and take the no of Are manager, Mr, Mukesh - [protected]. I am trying to talk to him from last 3 hrs but no response.
                        Its enough for me.
                        At last i am writing this mail but i am not much confident that i could get some response.

                          Dear SAMSUNG,
                          This is AKHIL GUPTA, Director of Residency group of hotels. We have two Resorts in Goa. I had installed all air-conditioners as well as televisions in my resort of your company .In Baga Residency in 2005.
                          The product & its services till 2009 were excellent, but unfortunately now the team of your company in Goa simply became the team of THUGS. They simply harass their customers & grab money.
                          This is regarding the complaint of our one LCD 32"Inc TV which was purchased on 30th Sep 09. We had filled the complaint of the same in your service centre almost 3 months back. One of your technicians Mr. BABU came to the hotel and checked the LCD, after inspection he requested if it is under warranty then we will replace the panel free of cost otherwise it is chargeable.
                          We told him it is under warranty and after a big follow up of at least one month with Mr.VIVEK & Mr. BABU they assured me that the panel has been received by them. One day Mr. BABU came to the hotel with panel & asked for the bill and warranty card. Unfortunately he came late evening at 5. That time I was not there, then he refused to replace the panel & asked when will I return then we can give him a call and he will replace the panel .We said ok. Then when I came back to Goa & I approached Mr. BABU then he said Sir I m sending my technician kindly show them the bill along with the warranty card. We said its fine. Then one of your technician came empty handed and wanted to see the papers. After verifying the papers he assured us that he will replace the panel by the next day.
                          Next day i received a call from BABU & as they wanted to check with the warranty part then thereafter no response.
                          We decided to file a fresh complaint for follow up

                          We registered the complaint with complaint no. [protected] for our LCD as well as one window ac. They collected the ac on the commitment within 72 hrs service. But didn’t deliver it till now. Moreover I received the call from Mr. BABU, he said that LCD screen is broken and it’s chargeable. I asked him how it can be broken now when earlier it was opened & inspected by you & your company staff only.If delebratly you people herrase the customer then I will make a complain to your head office. They challenged me and said that you can do whatever you want we r not scared. Then we made a complaint to your Goa Manager probably named Mr. Micle. This was highly objectionable .Not acceptable that all the people become thugs & try to bully customer’s .No feedback was given after the complaint whether it is attended or not.
                          Kindly see into the matter as soon as possible.
                          We are old and regular customers of yours. I would request you to change your staff of Goa territory to maintain the reputation of your company. right now I have 30 ac , 30 televisions, 20 ac, 10 LCD & future projects also coming soon but after this experience .......... .?
                          Now send some of your senior manager or executive not from Goa because all staff in Goa has made a team to cheat your costumers.

                            I am fadup and frustrated with Samsung. Request and Suggest you Please dont buy samsung products. Their service engineers and service centres thinks that all the buyers are Idots.

                            I had made a complaint aboutn Samsung Washine on 5th July2010. Engineer Visted on 7th July 2010. He told me there is a problem in a part and they have to indent the part to replace it. Now after 10 days when I call samsung customer care they told me part has been dispatched to service centre. When I contacted service centre they told me part has been despatched to service centre. Who is lying I donot know.

                            SAMSUNG SERVICE CENTER and CALL CENTRE PEOPLE are Big LIERS EWARE of SAMSUNG they are the BLUFF master while selling there products

                              We have purchased a samsung fully automatic washing machine model no WA82VSL from SARAVANA STORES Shanmugam road ,West Tambaram,chennai.,on the 11th of july 2010 we were told by the sales person in the shop that machine will be send tommorow ( but the machine was send on the 13th july afternoon only) and a person from the company will come for the demo with in 48 hrs of the delivery but we feel very sorry to inform that it is more than 72 hrs ( 3 days ) and no one has turned up so far.we have not purchased the machine to do puja but thinking that it will be of great help in our daily busy routine work pressure but company people just interested in the volume of sales and income and think that job is over and doesn't seem to realise the problems of the customers.We have been calling for the demo person to the shop they say we have forwarded the delivery information to the company but we called the company on ph.no.30308282 on 15th july and we were given a complaint no.[protected] and were told that demo person will come tommorow but the today is 16th july no one has turned up so far it is 8.30pm.WE HOPE SOMEONE WILL ATTEND TO US BY 17TH JULY MORNING OR WE MIGHT HAVE TO RETURN THE MACHINE WHICH WE ARE UNABLE TO USE.

                                We got a new Samsung LED TV as a gift on our wedding few days back. 3 days back we opened the brannd new box and insatelled the LED TV. Immediately after switching on the TV the display malfunctioned and the picture was overlapping. The light becomes too dim 3 minutes after we swtich on the TV. We don't have the invoice for the television as it was a gift.

                                Can anyone suggest how should we go about it? We contacted the service centre also and they are asking for invoice. Please advice how should we proceed from here onwards get our TV replaced or repaired as it is in warranty period.

                                  Samsung screwed me and THOUSANDS of other customers with JUNK tvs that take a dump just after the warranty expires.
                                  Google samsung tv problems and read the TRUTH about these tvs and how the customers are screwed.
                                  Buying a samsung tv is like playing russian roulette that you won't be the next SHAMSUNG SUCKER.
                                  DON'T LET SHAMSUNG SHAMYOU !!

                                    this is to inform u that i approached samsung service center in kalkaji new delhi regarding complaint of my i8510 handset for poor battery response.the rep.who attended me asked me that there is no service parts available with them for this handset but that guy manage the battery from some other handset and told me to come within 30days to get the new battery.but as of now more than 90 days has gone but i am unable to get the new battery. samsung staff is making lame excuses each and every time and now they are saying that the warranty period has elapsed.but my complaint is 3 month old and at that time my handset was in warranty period. if the battery of this set is not available with samsung than why this company launched such a stupid mobile in premium segment. i[censored] r seriously interested to help the consumer than ask samsung to take back such a stupid handset and replace with the new one thanks..............Gurdeep Singh

                                      My Samsung television On 8th July 2010 malfunctioned and stopped working.

                                      I logged a complaint with Samsung customer care on[protected] and I was told that someone will attend to it by 8pm on 9th July 2010. Reference number given to me was: [protected]

                                      On 9th July 2010, one person came home at 1.30pm and attended to the problem for 1 hour, fixed the back cover and when he started the TV it had some unusual sound and stopped working. So he said he needs one more component and will come back tomorrow! though half of the day was left....

                                      However, he did not return till date ( writing this on 15th July 2010 8:30pm ). Atleast 10 calls to the customer care have gone in waste. Have been hearing the same repeated dialogue "someone will attend before 8pm".

                                      Also, since 13th July 2010 they also started saying they will arrange for a callback from Bangalore service center but no one has called me yet. Probably he is least bothered about the issues.(Branch service manager Rangaswamy must understand the importance of after sale service but no point! )

                                      Today, evening the customer executive gave the number of Bangalore service center but by the time I called it was closed for the day.

                                      I am writing here in this forum and will take this matter with consumer court this week because such lazy attitude will not do anymore.

                                      So customers, especially those who are willing to buy any product from Samsung, please be aware of this pathetic service before buying products from SAMSUNG.....

                                      Samsung — Pathetic Post Sales Service

                                      Hi,

                                      I am pretty dissatisfied with ‘Samsung Service’. The TV which I brought 1 year back strategically broke just immediately after the warranty period last month.

                                      I contacted service center and was told that the technician would come and check. The technician told us that a part is damaged and would need to be taken to the service center.

                                      There was no response from the Kukatpally Service center and we had make many trips to convince them to come and collect the TV. Our TV was finally collected on 18th May. We have not received the TV as yet 4th June08.

                                      We have made endless calls to the call center and to the Kukatpally service center, without a solution so far. Finally last week Mahinder Reddy, M: [protected] promised the TV would be send to my home on Tuesday, 3rd June.

                                      Today, Wednesday, I haven’t heard anything so far. I call up the service center again and wanted to speak to someone in-charge of customer service at escalation level and have not got a response from the service center.

                                      Based the above sequence of events, I am very disappointed and dont think i will recieve back my TV any soon.

                                        i complain for the AC not cooling on 10-Jul-2010 and BP number is [protected].
                                        My complain was attended on 13-Jul-2010 and asked for service charge without
                                        solving the problem. We asked the engineer to solve the problem and
                                        we will pay the bill and he refused to entertain and went away without solving the problem.
                                        Again we complain on 13-Jul-10 but no response received.
                                        On 14-Jul-10 we again talked to your consumer care where your executive told us that
                                        we would send you the engineer. But on 16-Jul-10 we received a call from Shiva, manager from cmplaint centre
                                        and he informed us that i will cancel your all calls in future as these will come to me.

                                        We have complaint for the same problem in April-10 which was in one year Service and engineer asked for the problem would be solved in 2 or 3 days but he never turned up. But we are still ready to pay the service charge.
