I had bought Samsung S5233 Mobile in October 2009. Since then i m facing issue with it. In the span of 11 month i have to format it 3 times as it gives issue with Message box - Saying Message Box initialising and again comes back to Menu option. Now I m facing a more difficult issue that is not getting rectified even after formatting. Now I m getting "Phonebook Initialising" and "Message Initialising' message and none of them is getting opened up.
I have Airtel Sim in my mobile, and when i place that sim in some other mobile (nokia) it works properly. Same is the case with Mobile i.e. when i place another sim in my cell then my cell also works fine. The issue is with my Samsung Handset and my Airtel Sim combination. But no one has answer for this.This number has been working fine since last 11 months in Samsung S5233 set, then why all of sudden it is giving issue. I don't want to change my number. Please help me resolve this issue....since the time i have bought this it has become a big headach for me. I will not recommend anyone to buy SAMSUNG S5233.

Airtel — phonebook is not opening

i have samsung mobile SGH-E250 model, last week i bought new airtel prepaid sim, after activating the sim, the phonebook of the mobile is not working, when tried to open, it shows-"entry empty", but when other sim cards are inserted, it works normally, now addind or opening the contacts list became impossible.help me.
me too facing the same problem.pls give response as early as possible

I recommend not to buy Samsung Star GT-5233A model. Initially it works fine but overa a period of time starts giving problem.
I am not able to view messages in inbox as it shows Initialising. Even after formatting the status remains same. Also there is no solution available on the web to fix such problem.

So friends if you want a headach free phone then please do not go for a Samsung Star 5233A model.
i have samsung s5233s phone. my messages are not opening. it shows Initialising. cano yu people help me out of this since your cell also had similar poblem??? please...

    purchsed LCD 40" TV for almost 100 thousand on 15 march 2008.. In 2 yrs 4 mnths we had to call mechanic to change badly soldered capacitor which costs us 2000 in labour and 400 for capacitor. such an expensive product has only one year warranty and how is one to establish that the capacitor was poorly soldered in the first place?

      I have A REFRIGERATOR OF SAMSUNG MODEL NO. SR 19A NFO,THE BOTTLE SHELF OF THE SAME FRIDGE IS BROKEN AND I APPROCHED TO SAMSUNG SERVICE CENTRE AT moradabad (UTTAR PRADESH) INDIA, there they have noted my complaint/requirement at sr no. 289 dated 23.10.2009, but till today when allmost one year has passed, service centre is unable to provide the same bottle shelf to me.i am not happy to see the service of the reputed company like samsung.
      please help me.

        No show for servicing complaint for over 2 months now

        i am extremely disappointed with the customer service of Samsung. I am an owner of a Samsung side by side refrigerator for over 6 years now. The model is SR-S20NTD with serial no 719943CW800095. Over the last year or so I have been having problems of cooling in the refrigerator especially in summer when the cooling indicator goes upto 25 degrees!! The last time I made a complaint a few months ago, an engineer had visited the place and did...

        I purchased a hand set paying Rs.8600 a month ago. I was told by the sales person that the phone is exactly the same as Samsung Corby, but with Dual sims and a better camera.

        I could not see sim contacts and had to manually copy to phone one by one (almost 1000 contacts).

        In the phone book, if you have to locate a particular contact, you have to 1st go to search, manually enter the name where as in Corby, you have the scroll bar for easy search.

        Music folder takes too long to open and again, many features are done away with!

        Overall a bad experience and regret buying this phone.

          My Samsung phone, model F-270 was given at Tagore Garden center [Location code : 345] Hotspot Mobicare. The phone was given for replacement of screen as the screen had a display error on 1st July, 2010. Though they replaced the screen it wasnt working still, as of 7th July, 2010, which i refused to accept and gave the phone back to the same center for repair. It is 26th July, 2010, and there is no sign of the phone in the center, nor are the customer care centers of any help.

          The situation has now reached a level of harassment where these customer care centers are not telling when i will get my phone back, and they hold my call endlessly, to avoid facing me, even after they have received my complaint number and heard to my problem. They budge to transfer the calls to higher authority, and take my warnings to complaint about them, very casually. I am frustrated beyond all levels now and want justice against there harassment schemes.

          samsung F 270 — poor customer care

          Hi respected sir,
          I had bought 1 mobile of samsung from 1 authorised shop from vadodara.mobile F270.but from initially it had network problem & I had applied for replacement of this mobile to vadodara's samsung care.there is 1 empoyee of your vadodara office, named VIJAY.He first checked mobile & done some patchup & told now your mobile is 110% ok.But it was not solved.we again applied for replacement & this time he said I have inform our higher authority & they will give you replacement within 30 days.I waited for all this time.during all this procedure, his behaviour was very rude.It was my brand new mobile, i had no other mobile also & they not provided any temporary mobile, even if it was company's fault.After 1 month also my replacement had not come & they just passed time & wasted my much time in that office.Around 15 more days passed this way.Then i contacted Sandip Bhatt, from Ahmedabad branch.He solved the matter & now I am going to get my handset on monday, 22june.
          I just want to say that this was much more time taken-2 months for replacement & Vijay is not good at all with customers.If you want, i can give u my mobile bill copy, complain letter..But do some strick steps...

            I HAD PURCHASED A SAMSUNG REFRIGERATOR MODEL NO.RT 77 KVSM FROM SAMSUNG EXCLUSIVE AT MCD BEDI MARKET, ROOP NAGAR.WE MADE THE FULL PAYMENT AND WERE ASSURED THAT WE WILL RECEIVE THE BILL ON DELIVERY OF THE GOOD BUT THE DEALER DIDNOT PROVIDED US WITH THE BILL. AND ALSO ON DELIVER WE GOT TO KNEW IT WAS NOT A FRESH PIECE BUT A SECONDS PIECE WITH MANY DENTS.
            WE CALLED SAMSUNG CARE AND WERE ASSURED THAT THEY WILL RESOLVE THE PROBLEM IN 48 HOURS BUT FAILED TO DO SO AND ALSO THEIR EXECUTIVE CALLED US AND SPOKED IN A DISREGARDED MANNER.
            WE WAITED FOR LONG FOR SAMSUNG TO HELP US WITH THE BILL AND ALSO RESOLVE OUR PROBLEM BUT NO RESPONSE.
            THIS A REQUEST TO NOTE OUR COMPLAINT FOR NOT RECEIVING THE BILL AND GOOD IN ORDER AND GOOD CONDITION.

              I HAD PURCHASES SAMSUNG MF PRINTER (MODEL SCX 4521F)

              AFTER ALMOST 1 Year 5 Months there was a problerm in the printer for which i have called several times to Service centre on their number. 3030 8282

              every time a representative talks to me says that my complaint has been registered with their seniors & they would call me back to solve my problem within 02 Hours...

              Unfortunately those 02 Hours never came from my 1st call made to them on 10.07.10, then a 2nd reminder on 15.07.10, then the 3rd reminder on 17.07.10, then again the 4th reminder on 19.07.10 & lastly my 5th reminder on 21.07.10

              When ever i call them & request them to solve the printer problem they ask wheather i will be paying for all expenses that will be incurred for repairing.

              It may please be noted that I on my company's behlaf had agreed to pay necesary expenses upon receiving the price from their end. But till date they have not given me any price / estimated quote which is required to be paid to them for repairing my printer.

              Samsung — NO SERVICE PROVIDED

              I HAVE REGISTERED A COMPLAINT ON 18.6.10 FOR NEW FRIDGE PURCHASED ON 6.6.10. THE COMPLAINT NO IS [protected]. TILL 27TH JUNE THE COMPLAINT REMAINS UNATTENDED AND THE CUSTOMER CARE GIVES A STANDARD REPLY THAT THE SERVICE ENGINEER WILL COME TODAY ITSELF ON EVERY DAY.
              HIGHLY FRUSTRATED AND DISGUSTED WITH THE SERVICE OF SAMSUNG. ALSO CONTEMPLATING WHY LEGAL ACTION SHOULD NOT BE INITIATED.

                I had a very bad experience with Dawar's Open world shop in the MGF plaza mall in gurgaon. This is specifically with their SAMSUNG shop, though I have read of complains from other people for their SONY shop in the same mall.

                I will rate these guys -5 in customer service, honesty and providing new products according to the follwoing scale (5,4,3,2,1,0,-1,-2,-3,-4,-5). their business model seems to be to buy defective products at cheaper price and then sell them at the market rate to ignorant customers.

                I purchased a Samsung LCD Tv and a Samsung washing machine form them on 4 july. The TV was delivered on 5 july and the demo guy came on 6th. All this when I was assured it will be delivered on 4th itself as I had called the DTH guys for installation on the same day. But this is nothing compared ot what was about to come. They sent me a demo TV unit which had clear marks in the back where the TV is hung form the wall. The packet which contains the wires and remote was also torn. there were no battery for the remote and an accessory was missing. The dawar people flatly refused to accept it is a demo unit. I registered a complaint with Samsung and they sent their engineer who confimred it was a demo unit. This made Dawar relent and agreed to change the unit.

                On 4th July I had also purchased a SAMSUNG washing machine. the next day I got a call the machine I purchased was not in stock and they will tell me when i can get it. There was no followup from them. after 3-4 days I called again to check and they said this model will not come in a month or more and hence asked me to change my choice. I asked them to refund me the amount as i will go and purchase LG machine. They said it is not possible!!!!!!!!
                I changed the model and bought something I didnt want to buy. They delivered this and again the machine delivered was defective. There are air bubbles in the lamination in front which spoils the look completely and also the machine is dented in the back. I called and even visited the Dawar's World. The sotre keeper was very rude. His name is Raju Kumar. He said he has no authority to replace the unit and it cant be replaced. He refused to give me the owner's number who has the authority to change this. I again registered a complaint with SAMSUNG who promptly sent an engineer to inspect and he agreed the machine should be replaced. Its more than 3 WEEKS now since i purchased the macine and still cant use it.

                Samsung is also sleeping on this and it seems they are helpless in front of their own dealer. This is the sorry state of a company which plans to be the largest home appliances seller in this country. Pathetic. Everyone please buy LG products. The products are all same these days and its only the customer service which matters.


                I am not sure whether Mr Dawar is a party to this and is aware of how his store is being run. If he is, it's a very sad thing and I hope the consumer's will boycott this store and eventually force these people to either shut down or mend their ways. India is a leading market for SAMSUNG and other brands. This is the time we consumers realize our power and show these organizations that we expect the same service which they deliver in USA or Europe. We are not pushovers that they can get away with our hard earned money by dumping stuff and offering poor services.

                I demand the interest of the amount paid for 15 days and compensation for inconvenience and mental harrasment suffered due to Dawar's Open world. I also demand payment for holding the inventory for Dawar's world for so many days.

                  Sir,

                  I bought this Mobile on 22nd May 2010. From the day I bought this mobile I have saved my contacts many time but after few days when I check, many contacts disappear automatically, which is very disappointing. I bought this mobile to make my work easy.. but it is making my work cumbersome. I am very disappointed with the performce of this mobile. I am feeling cheated. Please solve my problem. Thanks.

                    I am working in North Eastern Hill University,Shillong. In 2004 I had purchased one mobile hand set of SAMSUNG company model X-600 from Gauhati. Till now I was using this set with proud and satifaction. I regrett to inform you that Now I am not getting its battery neither in Shillong nor in Gauhati city which is the nearest to me.

                      Vertical Yellow Line on the TFT. Dealer assured 3 year on site warranty. Complaint lodged on 24/06/2010. Engineer visited my residence and confirmed the panel will be replaced within a weeks time but there after no improvement and none of the seniors are willing to talk to me even. When CSC is called they give false assurance of resolving the issue. Very poor responce from the SC of Alapuzha about resolving the issue.

                      Kindly resolve the above issue immediatley.

                        My 50" plasma is not working from 21st June 2010 and complaint @ Customer care was lodged on 22/6/2010. Nothing has been done so far with regards to the complaint. Samsung's Chandigarh service center is not helping me getting my plasma repaired/replaced. I have been following the service center and their manager Mr. Amarjit Rainu ([protected]) from last 25 days but with no use. The service is so pathetic (even this word seems to be very tiny) that i just cannot write in the public media (but they deserve that only). Even after sending mails at official web portal and at support.[protected]@samsung.com, nothing has happened.

                        If any person can help me in this regard, kindly help.

                          With ref to the above i have given my samsung corby mobile phone to your service centre located @ andheri mumbai on 12.07.2010 for the purpose of reparing (PBA Pending) & they have given an assurance tht i wll get return on 20.07.2010, but still i have not recd any confirmation from service center & whenever i call them i get only one answer tht yet the part of your mobile has not yet recd from our head office cause it is very costly

                          I request kindly do the needful at earliest

                            I am from chennai , bought a samsung metro series S3500 sliding one year back and one month back it's display is not due to damaged connection strip.I went samsung service centre DIGITAL WAVE in Mylapore Chennai ,they told me connection strip is out of stock from then onwards when ever i call they are extending the time of stock arrival please consider my complaint immediatly how will you be able to run a company with out giving service to your company.

                                Recently MTS providd me this dual sim (GSM/CDMA) mobile. But as soon as I keep CDMA network on default, the call is disconncted on held up. I have complained to MTS and they have also talked to samsung, but problem still persists. kindly help

                                cdma — About GPRS

                                Dear sir,

                                I am ABUBAKAR my mo.[protected]. I was getting reliance CDMA conneton before 6 month. I am very confused because of reliance is not provided GPRS facilities, I am continues user of GPRS.
                                I want this facilities, but give me answer by customer care this is not possible. Please solved my problem.

                                vodophone IDD card — no sms service

                                My son voisiting India signed up for the above service..my complaint is that while the SMS he sends me is delivered to me in Malaysia but each time i send him an sms it stays pending and does not get delivered...what seems to be the problem?Please reply ASAP.

                                Samsung Mobile — gsm not working

                                gave my samsung phone in january with a compliant of gsm card slot not working so gave it to samsung service centre and after twenty five days he returned it to me and trusting that person i didnt check the phone only because of the brand samsung when i went home i checked my phone the phone was not repaired and had the same problem again the next day i went there and i scremed at that person he tells me the board is not ready in the company so u leave the phone i will call u in 10 days u can come and collect it, two months from that date have not received my phone and have lost all faith in samsung and still he says yet to receive the board.
                                whats the use of buying branded mobiles where the company keeps the phone during the guarantee period 3 months the amount we pay is waste. nothing like nokia their service is upto the mark their commitments are kept, but samsung is proving to be a third class company by only showing wrong advertisement on television nd foolong customers

                                This WH 259, do not know, why samsumg rleased. It does not any thing related to internet, WAP, GPRS...when i contacted releiance / help, told us to do settings and sms option both tried, did not work..one of the ever waste product of samsung innovation...keep it up samsung ...you will get into ditch very soon...if you continue this mobile without any proper analysis and call back all the sold mobile to help them use it properly...call me at [protected], ganesh

                                GPRS n Email can be setup on this phone ... just select PROXY as NO... and enter the Access Point name ... I use Reliance and enter the access name as rcomnet

                                However, the problem with this phone is u cannot send SMS i[censored]sing only CDMA - it uses GSM sim's MESSAGE CENTER NUMBER -- any update/help here is appreciated

                                This mobile sch-w259 is not working internet connection either airtel or tata sim. not available in tata zone facility or not working wap facility.so kindly requset to you send me proper solution for this mobile. If other connection will be working with internet than send me type of connection like idea or bsnl or vodafone etc. Send me reply at mail: [protected]@gmail.com

                                Problem of SCH-W259 GSM/CDMA handset, it connect to PC as well as internet but only in airtel, idea card but not on bsnl beacause of APN name is different on PC suite(www.e.po) and different on mobile(bsnlnet).and i try to edit this setting on PC suite but i cant do this beacause there is no edit option (other(contry) option is there but using that option not connect internet).

                                I have SCH W 259 samsung & recently i purchase OMS card for Tata CDMA internet also recharge internet account but still internet not processed, i also confirm from Tata costumer care there were no problem, so if any setting for that please send me on [protected]@gmail.com or call [protected] satish
                                pls send me Tata cdma internet setting for sch-w259 samsung

                                  I made a complain (Ref [protected]) on June 15, 2010. The service engineers visited my residence and told me the parts required for TV repair were not available and they will have to request parts from the HO. After that they visted once more and told me to produce the purchase receipt for a TV that was bought around December 2005 for about Rs 67000/- which I have not cared to save given that the warranty is long past.
                                  Since then I have called up their call centre repeatedly and spoken to Kiran ( a very rude servce manager) and Thyanu requesting for names of their senior customer service personnel to allow me to talk to them. I have been refused names of any senior person and they keep telling me to call their call centre which is a non starter to begin with.
                                  Is it too much for a consumer to expect paid service for a product that cost Rs 67000/- and has failed within less than 5 years?

                                    I have purchased a touch screen mobile phone samsung start (GTS5233W), however the touch screen has stopped working within 6 months of purchase.
                                    I contacted the Samsung Service Center and they cant guide the customers correctly.When I visited the Samsung service center , they are unable to fix it as they dont have available parts for the same.
                                    Its been 3 weeks , i am unable to use the phone and the samsung service centers are just pathetic.

                                    Samsung's service is the worst.

                                      I had purchased one slider mobile set model No: F270 on[protected] from dealer "Walky Talky" in Kalimati Road, Sakchi, Jamshedpur.
                                      Soon after purchase it started malfuctioning and system was hanging, speaker malfunctioning and set getting off itself.
                                      Set was taken to local service centre and problem was explained. They attended the problem and even then set did not work satisfactorily.Three times set was taken to service centre and problem could not be rectified. Set is still in the service centre.

                                      Samsung — phone frequently hanging

                                      I had purchased a Samsung Corby cell phone on[protected] through Sangeeta, Sampige road Malleswaram, Bangalore. The cell phone within 10 days started hanging and when I approached the dealer he told me to get the software updated from Samsung service center in Rajajinagar, Bangalore. Even after getting it upgraded the cell phone had the same problem and when the service center was approached they told that the touchpad screen needs to be replaced. Even now the phone hangs now and then which I cannot rely on the phone now. I doubt about your technology in touch screen model or the hardware/software of my cell and I am not satisfied with the cell phone of your company. I request you to kindly replace my faulty cell phone with new ones or with a different model or have the refund made. I am now forced to keep another cell phone as a standby, as the cell phone of your company doesn’t seem to be reliable.Kindly respond to this mail on the [protected]@gmail.com or [protected]@vsnl.net.
