My Name is Srilakshmi I am from Hyderabad. On the evening of 17th March, 2010 I bought a new Samsung CDMA Mpower Muzik F219 at Cell World which at khan lateef khan building, Abids. (Actually up to then I was using Samsung Raaga CDMA the performance is up to the mark). On 17th the Phone automatically restarted for 3 times, I called to Cell World, and they said that please charge the battery for at least 8 hours as we are charging it first time, I convinced and I did so.
On 18th evening I travelled from Hyderabad to Kandukur (which is in Prakasam District 50km from Ongole). On 19th morning I got noticed that while using Music Player, I am unable to receive the calls. The complete signal strength becomes null after exit from the player automatically the signal will come. I wondered and I tried with different options, finally I know that, while the signal strength is not full (5/6 points) at that time if we use the Music player or Video Player the Signal receiver is not at all working it’s just showing No Service. In the same place if we use the same UIM card in any other CDMA phone its working (I tried with Samsung Raaga CDMA handset also –it’s working). Then I called to the Samsung Customer Care and they responded like go and visit our Service center at Ongole, which is 50km far away from my place. On 20th I went to their service center at Ongole, at that place the signal strength is full (if we come 500 meters from Service center the signal strength is 3 points at that place the problem is arose) so they said that the Handset is good it’s the only problem with the service provider. I again called to the Samsung Customer Care, they said our technical people will call you they called me at evening 7:00pm on 20th. And they suggested that again visit the Service center.
As 21st is Sunday I again visited the Service Center on 22nd. After lot of appeals they just reinstalled the software and gave it to me. I again came back to my place but the problem still exists. I called to the Service Provider TATA Indicom, as I am a postpaid customer (even though my billing address is at Hyderabad,) they sent a technician to Kandukur (which is 400 km from Hyderabad) on 23rd he came and checked out the signal and phone, finally he concluded that the handset is faulty. Then again I made a call to Samsung customer care, they again said the same thing, you can guess easily! ‘Go and visit our Service Center’.
It has several other problems like,
1. While playing the music we can’t do anything, because if we try to exit from the Music Player the music will stop, there is no back ground play mode.
2. While deleting an entity like Contact, Message, any file, or even a Folder, it never asks the confirmation Yes/No, which is a very important for data security purpose.
3. Its internal memory is 15.4 MB only, so obviously the responding time is slow.
4. There is no Call/Conversation recording facility.
5. General recording is there but the maximum duration is limited to 3 min for each recording.
6. There is no memory status for contacts and messages.
7. We can’t add an image to contact from memory card; we should copy the image to phone memory.
8. And all the CDMA customers know that, even though if we removed and reinserted the batter or UIM card the call list wouldn’t lost -in general (except Nokia), but in this hand set it will, the entire call log will be lost.
Finally today on 25th March, 2010, I visited the Samsung Service Center main branch at Hyderabad, these people are also did the same thing, just re installed the software.
What can I do?

A little less than 2 yrs back I purchased samsung AC ( split ) from Big Bazaar Meerut, PVS Mall Shastri nagar Meerut UP. Soon after the delivery installation men ( one was named Abrar ) came to install my ac. They said there is something wrong with the product so complain to the company. I had heated argument with the retailer and i had to resort to all sorts of dirty means to get my ac exchanged. Finally next day ac was installed. But installation men were in so hurry ( they said they only get 750 rs so cant do much ) that light of my whole house was out of order for several days. And when they were installing all o[censored]s said that they are installing the outer unit at wrong place but they didn't listen to us.
Result was outer unit gets heated after say every 5 min and ac stops working.
When complained last year ( akash jain of big bazar and sunil are witness ), samsung installer said that he had got 750 rs for intsallation from company and he is ready to pay me that if i get it fixed. Pvt ac mechanichs demanded rs 3000 for gas, 1000 for added copper wire and 2000 as fee, so total 6000rs i will have to spend for a folly of samsung installers.
Who is at fault? Since then I sort of developed a kind of disliking for samsung products. I am compelled. If you do not respond in 24 hrs, I will spend the money as i have no choice.
You seem to be a distant hope.
Prompt action can restore my faith. Every detail can be had from big bazaar. You will only complicate things by asking me details and details and coming out with nothing. Of course i can give details but time is short.
