Hi,

I'm Aditya, I complained about my Sony Bravia KDL-46EX720 from the last two months and waiting for a solution. At the end as a last resort I emailed service head in the hope of finding a solution but I'm still being troubled and thrown around without any proper solution.

I've been suffering with my the from the past 5 years as I've serviced it 3 times in the past 5 years almost every year with screen blurring and picture problems. I'm again suffering a picture problem with screen blurring and split in two parts as seen in the attached pictures below. I've already spent more than ₹6000 already for servicing almost every year paper form ₹125000 to buy the TV itself.

At the end when i complained to service head they kind of moved to solve the problem but in the end have hopelessly refused any solution as there is no stock of LED panel and TV has to be junked. Now I'm being harassed to pay 75% of the mew TV cost as the defective old TV is useless. I've been suffering form 5 years with repeated problems and now i must pay another 75000 to get a new TV. They sent me rude letter saying writing to them with complaint will not help to get a better solution.

Is this the best solution i was told when i brought Sony TV as a superior brand what sort of solution is this. I'm really fed up with Sony I don't wish to buy any more Sony goods and never will again after this horrible torture being forced upon me . I want refund of the money I invested in this TV apart from the huge time waster running form pillar to post to find a solution to a defective TV. Why was I sold such a substandard TV for a premium price and kept me in dark all years. How can you just wash your hands off and trouble a loyal customer like this. is this your good service offered to premium customers. I've been waiting for two months and this is how you treat a customer?

How is this a just solution to ask me to pay again the cost of a new TV after so many years to trouble and repairs of the defective TV. I've all the bills and lame customer service emails to prove how defective is the TV and how I'm being troubled. I don't wish to buy a Sony product ever again and don't force me to buy again with such useless offers.

    We purchased led tv sony make two years back... When we put on the tv, it works for 15mts. After that it shuts down automatically nd red light blinks for 8times. What might be the problem. Kindly look into it nd resolve my problem. We bought it for 100000... It worked just 2 years only.. Even we can not trust sony company. Before this also we has sony tv it navel gave me any problems.

      I bought a sony led tv (Klv-40w562d) from suyog rajendra digital, sangli (Pincode 416416) on 13/02/2017.
      Bill no is[protected].
      While purchasing, i used axis ban credit card & seller assured that there is tie-up between sony & axis bank and so when converted total purchase amount rs. 50900/- into six emis, it will be divided by six.
      But, my axis bank statement shows emi is rs 8859/-.
      So, i have to pay extra amount of about rs. 1700/-.
      When asked to seller, he is not providing proper information (It happened 2-3 times).
      So, it is extortion and abject behaviour.
      Pl look into the matter and get my emi amount as rs. 8484/- and not as rs. 8859/-
      Otherwise i have to do something against sony and axis bank.

        I had visited sony authorized service center at chaitanya electronic... There team was really not helping our problems... Given the my sony mobile for repair on 28april 17 but still time they not call me for esstimed amt. Or any for about my mobile issue... When i visited after 7 day's they are giving me bullsheet or sensless reason... Engineers are not available so ur mobile was not checked... So im asking them ur engineers not available what can i do...?? Kam se kam call to kr sakate ho...?? So not answering from them... Till date one of the pathetic service from sony authorized service center they are not caring our customers only targeting our business...in future i will not the purchase any sony product...

          Company TV engineer/Technician not attending for Demo even after requesting thrice. Request for Demo first made on 23.04.2017 at sony service centre Jhansi.

            This is the third time sony has blocked my ip address. Last two times also they didnt give any reason for blocking my ip. Because of this i cant play online games.

              I have order and received the Sony 40672E model LED TV. But even after 5 days of my request for installation no one turn out to it. They gave one Mobile number to contact for the same where that person is not at all approachable and even he switched off his mobile often.

                This is with regard to a Sony Camera HDR PJ340B I bought on 22nd Nov’2014 paying a fortune due to the passion for photography. But, within a year the camera started giving problems of intermittently getting out of focus and continuous shaking and due to my extremely busy schedule couldn’t take it to Sony Service Centre till Nov’16 when after submission I was told the same has been repaired and I collected it back after repair. As the nature of problem was intermittent, I did not observe the problem at Service Centre but when I took it for an outdoor shooting a week after collection the problem repeated and this time the shake was really bad.
                Again I submitted to the service centre and I received a cost proposal from Jaypee Electronics, NOIDA for INR5768/- on 5th April’17 and inspite of my transferring INR2500/- as advance for repairs till this day I have not received my camera back after repairs.
                I am completely dissatisfied at Sony as this is a case of integrity where I was fooled by saying that the camera was repaired and delivered back in Nov’16 in warranty period which now they are unable to post warranty inspite of my remitting the amount for about a month.
                It seems there’s a major issue with the camera and Sony India itself is not competent to rectify. In such a scenario, I would urge for a replacement of the device at the earliest.

                  I like to watch kuch rang pyar ke aise bhi show but i cant able to watch it on night time shedule so i used to watch repeat telecasts at morning but i cant able to watch all episodes as sony tv cant air regularly on morning tme period like monday and friday. Please its humble request do air all the episodes regularly in morning.

                    The usb jack of our sony bravia tv is not functioning properly. After we purchased it, we did not get any demo regarding how to use the usb jack or watch movies from external device. When we connect the pendrive it says usb cannot recognize. Neither pendrive, camera or any other external drive is getting detected. Please resolve the issue as early as possible.

                      Its very unfortunate to share on customer services of Sony. I believe, Sony provides one of the best quality service across the world but its really the service which I have experienced was broken my heart.
                      Summary, I bought a new TV and contacted customer service on 29th April-17 for installation at Warangal -TS, but says there is no service in Warangal. Moreover, the way they said and spoken its really sounds like very hard and unsatisfactory service as I was trying to request them to help me with an any alternatively but keep says try googling and help yourself, if something googling will solve these queries then why would customer will contact customer service. Couple of words used by the executive which are really unacceptable and the way disconnected the call in the middle.
                      Very important thing is, I found there is an authorized Sony service center is available in Warangal. As a customer I would request you please provide a valuable justification to avoid such annoying service from Sony to any customer and if something is likely then what is the point to sell the products to such locations and assures the services all over the India.

                        I bought a sony xperia c4 dual on nov 2015, during the warranty period the touch malfunction problem occurs with in 4 months and sony service center replaced touch under warranty. After that the same problem occurred on june month and they again replaced under warranty. Now the same problem occurs but they are does not considering me because my warranty expired. There is a problem in xperia c4 dual as manufacturing defect. But sony does not understand this. Their poor quality of their spares and service the problem raises again and again. Now they are estimated rs.5000+ for my device service.

                          Sir, I have purchased Sony Bravia 32 " LCD in 2010 from Sony Centre of Meerut.(32"LCDTV). Now multiple wrinkles develop across the Screen. Also from yesterday onwards a bubble like smoky eruption developed across the screen and it is spreading rapidly and picture is having white back ground.i purchased the TV at a cost of Rs.32, 000/- and well protected with voltage stabilizer. It is highly disgusting to know that your service centre seeks to charge around 15, 000/- rupees to set right this problem. What I can make out from other complains on sites that even others are facing same problem in this made of 2010 make, thus making it obvious that it is a production fault. You must take steps to take back our faulty products and save customers from the unnecessary problem.

                            I have given my sony vio laptop for repair as the keyboard was not working at m/s digital care bhubaneswar which is the authorized service centre. The laptop was handed over vide job no - J62653942 dated 19.10.2016. Advance given rs 5000/-. After two months in dec'16 one day i found that the service centre was locked permanently. The service centre did not feel to inform also and return the laptop and advance amount. After telephoning various person the advance amount was returned after two months follow up in the month of feb'17. Since then i have been following up for return of laptop with the kolkatta centre who is not responding to my mail. Already 6 months have passed since i have deposited the laptop i am yet to get back.
                            This is nothing but harrasment to the customers.
                            Request to take action against m/s digital care and ask to return my laptop immediately.

                              I purchased Sony xperia z5 on 03/05/2016, as per store manager told the product will be one year warranty from the date of purchase, now my handset have some problem I visited to service center but they are saying that it's not under warranty that to still 1 1/2 month is remaining n wt he's saying means the handset has already activated in the year of 2015 but when I was purchased it's a box piece that to I purchased on may 2016. I've attached the bill here plz check n give me the solution whose fault it's, if not then I'll register a case in police station or in court on both Sony company as well as the store Please give me the response as much as possible.

                                I bought sony 40 inch led tv on july 2016. When i was shifted my house, i have to do wall mounting tv at that time tv was fell down. And display was broken. Then suddenly i contact your service department, they told display broken, you have to pay 100% service charge.
                                I request you kindly reduce my service charge from rs.14000/-. Please give atleast 50% to be reduced.

                                    Hello,

                                    This is inform you that i had purchased experia xa 2 months ago & from last two weeks i am encountering an issue with phone heating & unable to charge while connected charging instead the battery is draining at the time of charging.

                                    With this issue i had went to authorized sony service center nearby at vashi at sri sai electronics i am attaching the further details.

                                    This was the worst experience i had ever in my life while conversing to the staff over there. Initially when i had visited on saturday 17th april 2017 the staff who had verified my phone had requested to come on monday as the stand by phone is not available at that point of time & asked if i want to take a back up of the data. I informed him don't worry about the data back up as my phone is synced online, but still he asked to bring the phone on monday & refused to take my request. I had no other option to take back the phone & at that time the heating issue was normal.

                                    After few days the phone started getting heat badly & unbearable to hold the phone in hand or put in pocket, also i felt i may have any health issue for the same, hence i visited store on april 24th 2017 & the same guy verified the phone and stated to get the stand by phone over the reception counter, at the reception counter there was one lady she stated me that system is not working so they wont be able to verify the phones warranty info & they will not be able to take my request, when i further insisted she stated that the maximum what we can do is we can take your phone & for the standby i need to come again next day or they will call me when the standby is available. I informed her that this is the second time i am visiting for the same & you need to do something for me, may from backend if the system is not working, that lady bluntly replied stating on the first visit it was my problem that i wanted to take the data backup i informed her i never stated i want to take the data back up & you are giving me false information she further replied rudely "aapko samjhta nahi kya abhi kuch nahi hoga apko jo karna hai kar lo" then i asked to speak to the manager there one more staff was there he stated that manager is not available now & he is not sure when the manager will be available, as i had already waited from 1 pm to 2 pm for the lunch time, that staff told me rudely that manager does not have any timings & manager is not answerable to me & i don't have any rights to talk to the manager, he even told me he will call to the police i was literally shocked why police interference was required, i was just asking for explanation why they cannot proceed & as per me there answers were lame as system is not working, as a customer whose problem is this if your system is not working & i am wasting my second visit as a fool & iwas very much need an explanation for this. I informed him that i have complete rights to ask for manager when you guys are not able to answer me nor you have any explanation for the same i did informed them your manager must have much more information then you & may be he can do the needful.

                                    At the same time i was trying to get the warranty details from the call center but unfortunately call center person was also not able help me in any situation. Then i happened to talk to the manage over there this gentle man so rude, so unprofessional, so pathetic way of talking asking me to come to his cabin and he wanted my phones to be kept outside i asked him why you want my phone to be kept outside, he stated that you might record our conversation, i informed him i want to record this conversation as i dont believe you guys any more as you have already threatened me for calling police and all & what if you will say i never visited. I had no other option to leave the store as these people were wasting my time at the same time i had placed a request to the call center person regarding the issue. I had asked to email id to register a complaint, but as per call center person there is no such email id to register a complaint.

                                    I hereby wanted to inform you that i want a to register a complaint for the behavior of the service center staff as no body has a right to waste my time & play around and also threatened me of police. I really don't deserve this kind of treatment after spending my hard earned money in purchasing the product from sony. I am not sure what would be your next plan of action on this, i want you to provide me a solution for the same & also an explanation for this kind of behavior, i also don't wish to visit that store again. Here is the ref number provided by call center person 1-[protected] this may help you to get the further information.

                                    I would also like to inform you that if i am not getting a proper solution on the same i have to seek a legal action for this matter & if any thing comes under civil or consumer rights i will proceed further. I hereby notify you the same.

                                      I had given my ps3 controller for repairs that was still under warranty but not only was it rejected but it was also not replaced over the excuse that the warranty only covered the controller for 6 months i am disappointed and i feel very cheated by Sony. I had submitted my ps3 controller on 19th and on 20th i got a call saying it can't be replaced the call centre is also useless not helpful at all they told nothing could be done about the controller at all!

                                        Please don't buy Sony phones from other country if you stay in Inda because there will be no service provided by Sony in India if you buy Sony phone other than India
                                        Even if you want to pay for service Sony will not accept that too
                                        So if you buy Sony phones from other country and face any problem in India you not get any help to solve any problem
                                        Than your costly phone will become just a useless box

                                        My problem is just a dust in camera from inside but Sony can't help
