HI,
I have got a new Sony Bravia TV W56D and facing issues with frequent turn off TV every 1:30 hours. I have complained to the customer care([protected]) and I was being told that the chipset has to be replaced. But there's no other action done since 30+days. First complaint was registered on April 23rd. Later on i did n number of calls and no luck. Please look into this and do not further waste consumer time.

    Hello support team,

    I purchased a sony led tv of 40 inches in june 2016 with serial no. 4031106. Its been only one year and five months since i purchased the tv. Suddenly there has been faults regarding the display of the tv. A black shadow appears along the one - third part of the screen causing a huge inconvenience. And after purchasing an expensive your services for repair are also expensive which in any way does not go with the needs and services to the common man. Now buying sony products seems like a very big mistake. I am highly dissappointed with your services. Please see to it that you are actually taking measure outs to fix our problems and not just make false caims. It would be highly kind of you to do something about this problem regarding my television and for once prove yourself to be giving worthy services at moderate costs.

      Sir,
      With is with reference to the subject matter i want to draw your kind attention towards the technical issues/problems noticed in your product i. E. Sony led tv which was purchased by the undersigned in the month of nov 2015
      I am facing critical problems by your authorised service centre j. P. Electronics, plot no. 331 upper ground floor sector – 4, ghaziabad-201010 as under:-
      1. I was lodge a complaint to your customer care thereafter a engineer has visited and stated that some technical problem is happen. The tv is to bring to the service centre for repair and paid visit fee/charge.
      2. I carried the tv to the service centre than the engineer has stated that some parts is breakdown it is required to replace for stated charges around 7, 000/- to 10, 000. I have instantly requested that i have no lots of money so i cannot afford of huge amount.
      3. The service centre has stated that ok they will repair the same with the three month warranty and cost is rs. 630/- and i agreed and paid rs. 630/- for repairing charge which was in my budget. The tv was again breakdown next day. I have visited again to the service centre with the same complaint.
      4. They have stated that the financial approval is made only with 15000/-to 25000/- not to below.
      5. The service centre has stated that the part is to be replaced, but i was again stated to them to file my request to the competent authority of sony india pvt. Ltd. To grant of financial approval/waiving off for replacing cost of parts. They have stated ok they will forward my request to the competent authority of sony india pvt. Ltd. To grant of financial approval/waiving off for replacing cost of parts. They finally called that the approval of the competent authority of sony india pvt. Ltd. Is not considered for grant of financial approval/waiving off for replacing cost of parts. I stated that but i cannot paid for the same and repair the same with the earlier payment is rs. 630/- i have told them do not replace the part without approval. But they did it without my consent and charged for rs. 5000/-. I am already facing lots of financial problems presently. I have no money for taking goods & valuable things for normal life.
      6. But, i have told them i want talk to senior officer of the sony company consultation in the matter. However, they have not helped me for talk to senior officer of the sony company.
      7. Every day, service centre j. P. Electronics called me and stating for paid the money with loudly, roughly, and threatfully. I am mentally disturbed due to this problems.
      8. I have already told them i am not in position to paid a huge amount and not to replace, it can be repaired again.
      9. Further, i am fully trust with sony product with any other product, than i using world class sony products.
      10. Hence, due to my financial problem in present look in the matter and accord the approval for financial approval/waiving off for repairing cost one time. I am also requesting to do the needful in the matter please.

        Sony service center / technical team cheat customer
        I have a complaint against sony service center "chaitanya electronic chinchwad pune."

        One of my tvs klv-32r4 82 after 2 years o[censored]se suddenly started rebooting and flashing 6red lights. When i requested for a visit at sony helpline, chaitanya electronic sent an engineer (Charged 230rs only for visiting).

        The engineer tested the tv and said the backlit is defective, trust me i can tell the backlit is ok just some issue with the power supply coz the backlit lights up, but can't help so i asked for a cost of the back lit. Here to my surprise, the service center replied that they are not getting backlight from sony so i will have to but the complete panel. Cost of backlit is 4000, but the panel will cost 12000...!!! It's like my cars carburettor is chocked so i need to replace the entire engine!

        If sony is making profits like this then shame on this japanese brand!!!

Last 2 month they not change the lcd screen. They just play with customers and misbehaved on under warranty, last 2 years replace 2 times screen with 60 days. This is just a useless service station.

            Hi sony team,

            As discussed with sandeep (Manager-sony), request to treat this as notice to move to consumer forum to redress the following problem related to sale of defective mobile phone to me.

            The following are the details.

            Purchased sony mobile phone from e-zone koramangala - bangalore for mrp of rs.52990 (On the box)/
            Model name: sony xperia z5 and with warranty of 1 year.
            But within few months i am forced to go the sony service center for repair.
            During repair period no back up phone was provided to run my daily business and sony has taken 2 weeks to return the repaired phone.
            Again i have to visit and return the phone for the second time for similar kind of repairs.
            I returned the phone to the sony service center, with a request to either to issue a new phone or return the money.
            Now it is almost one month over you are not willing to take any kind of action on my request.

            Since this is a defective phone, i requested either for refund of the money or replace with a new modal phone, since this is model is already scrapped by sony due to its failure.

            Hence consider this as a notice to sony that why i can’t i move to consumer forum to redress my grievance.

            I am going to claim not only refund of money paid for the defective mobile sold to me but also additional compensation to the tune of 10 lakhs for giving unnecessary tension and trouble to a loyal customer like me for selling defective phone and also for highly irresponsible behavior of your team in addressing the above cited issue.

            Again i will wait for a week for a positive response before i move to consumer forum.

              Dear sony team,

              We had purchased sony lcd tv from gautam electronics, opp. Preet vihar, delhi.
              Model no - klv-32nx500in5 (32"lcd tv) on 12.01.2011.
              We did the complaint in customer care and the technician said the mother board is not available in sony warehouse in just 6 years, bz sony has stopped the manufacturing of this product, so no spare parts are available.
              We got surprised as the sony is the brand leader in the electronics and we had purchased this lcd with trust to sony services. But it is a hopeless situation with us now this lcd is a electronic waste for us.
              As a brand leader with much higher prices than others, sony is poorer in their services.
              I personally never recommend to my friend and colleagues to go for sony s products as they are just making the money and not able to maintain their brand equity.
              This is injustice with a consumer as the lcd was purchased inr 35466. Why the consumer is facing such issues.
              We need the immediate solution for this issue.

              Complainant's goal: to repair or compensate for my lcd, if the spare parts are not available.

                  We have purchased sony bravia les (Klv-32r412c) from esquiretech, mira road, thane, maharashtra on 13 october 2015.
                  Since 24th may 2017 my led is not starting so i called sony customer care service they sent one person to resolve our problem they came two days after we complained & charged 200 rupees and said that motherboard of led is not working to bring your led to our service center and it will cost around 7000 rupees
                  Which kind of service it is and what kind of product you are selling in the name of sony
                  We as a customer have full trust on sony as a brand and buy sony product just for that even though we are getting same product of different brand in cheaper price.
                  And this is what we get in return motherboard of led has stopped working just after one and half year of purchased date.
                  Please see to this issue and reply in which way you can resolve our problem, and what has to do further.

                      I had been facing a problem with the tv since 8th may already have registered a complaint for the same complaint id — 39353633, but there is no response of any one on the same since last 20 days, i have called sony many time they just assure that the complaint will be resolved in 2-3 days, whenever i call the service center they just hangup the call and other numbers are not working
                      Sony customer service agent are not able to speak in proper english even when english language is selected

Facing display problem since 2nd Jun 2017 and complaint have been registered with the following details —Dear Customer your Service Request ID 39826195 is assigned to Abhivrudhi Tech ; Bangalore ; Phone No:080/22442233/0123, but there is no technician able to get it resolved since last 10 days they just said and went mother board problem, i have called sony many time they just assure that the complaint will be resolved in 2-3 days, whenever i call the service center they just hangup the call and other numbers are not working.                           I submitted my Sony SBH80 bluetooth headphones for repair (Job no.:W[protected] on the 11th of May 2017 to Metal Tech (Sony's official service centre). I was told that i would get a replacement (it was still under warranty, less than a year since purchase) as repair of this product is not possible and it would take 4-5 working days. I called the service centre back after 5 days and was told that they had sent a mail to Sony asking them about the status of the replacement but they haven't as yet received a reply. I then called the Sony helpline to see if i could get any further information and was asked by them to call back in 48 hours as they had escalated the matter. I did call back after 48 hours and was told the same thing again to call back in 48 hours, this time assuring me that the matter would be resolved within 48 hours. I again called back after 48 hours and they still didn't have an answer for me except to call back in 48 hours. I then called the service centre where i was told that the model of headphone had been discontinued and they were waiting for Sony to tell them what to do.
                          Its now nearly 20 days and no one has an answer for me. It is extremely frustrating to call the helpline, explain your case again and again and get no meaningful answer. I have bought a product from Sony which wasn't functioning as the company promised, i would expect that they would honour their warranty rather than making the consumer run around hoping that i would get tired and drop the matter.
                          I'm hoping that i can get some assistance through this forum and get a replacement as soon as possible.

                            This is yuvraj singh mob. [protected] having sony xperia z3+ purchased rupees 25000 from authorized service center, now my phones left side touch not working well, some alphabets like r, f, c, and many others not works at all. I went to near service center and they do what they can do and lastly said u need to change your full display. And the cost is 7500. My question is that when my phone is never dropped not a single scratch nothing at all, then what is my fault, when i google this problem i found no. Of peoples who owned xperia z3+ is facing the exact same proplem so this must not be customer fault this is the device problem and its your duty to get rectify this rather to blame customer. I just want a serious action against sony.

                              I had lodge a service complaint on dtd 17 may 2017 at sony customer care at id 39498428 for tv repair, i have had received service persons contact details, but till today service person not visited & no any solution.
                              I have been in contact with sony service customer care unit, they also assured about service person, but still its not happened.

                              It could be lead to spoil a brand name sony service. I need why such delayed in service

                                It was very bad phone i am fed up with this in 1 year because of so many problems i will submitted 5 times in sony care but again its not work properly again same types of problem i am complaining for the replacing it or upgrading it but more after 7 days there was no response when i call to customer care then it can hold my call again and again and waste my more than 25 minutes but there are no answer of my question and again it will give me next date...plz sony don't cheat your customers.

                                Purchased sony TV from Bajaj electronics and it was delivered on 14th may 2017 but till today (18th may) no one came for installation. It was mentioned that, with in 48 hours installation happens but even after 4 days Installation not done.

                                  Respected sir/madam,
                                  I had purchased the KDL-50W900B smart tv from chromo store of Ashram Road branch in Ahmedabad, Gujarat back in 2015. At the time we were not in position to set the tv on the wall. At that time that two technician named Piyush whose mobile number is +91 [protected] and Mitesh whose mobile number is +91 [protected] said us that whenever in future you need to mount the tv on wall just call us back. I still have the Installation Service coupon with me and have attached the photo of same. And now in current scenario when I called Piyush one of the technician 3 days before, he said us that the installation charges 400₹ + stand charges 5000₹ need to paid for the installation.
                                  After that I called the sony customer care number and depicted the above scenario, they sent a technician for evaluation and he said that the stand needs to be given by the technician who installed the tv and he went back. And today another man came named Sajid whose phone numbers are +91 [protected] and +91 [protected] came and took the photo of the tv and the coupon and said that he will check in the system. And after some time(taking about today) nearly after 1 hour he called back and said that he would is ready to install tv with some extra charges of stand and installation. And at last I am on this portal writing the scenario.

                                  And another thing I had only got the tv and the table top stand during the delivery time with two 3d glasses, two remotes and the HDMI cable with the booket. There wasn't any wall stand or any of its kit in the box. And another thing that I remembered that from one(Piyush or Mitesh) of them said that they would bring the wall stand whenever in future I needed to mount the tv they would bring the kit with them.

                                    I have purchased your product sony led kdl-42w700b having serial no 3254274. It goes non functional after 3years and three months. I have approached to the nearest authorised sony service center. On inspection they noticed led screen not displaying nothing. But power supply is ok. They told me to replace control panel that costs approx 23500/ rs. So high amount for repairing. My question to the sony industry is it failure technology that you have adopted. Or low quality control of parts. I have loosening all trust on your brand. My colleague brought same model of led. Having same fault appeared after one year of purchase. But luckily within the warranty period it was replaced. I t means there was some manufacturing fault of this model. Reparing cost is too high beyond my limit. Kindly help me to sort out my problem and retain trust in your brand. I have attached all details of my product as model* name serial no purchased date. I think u have degraded your quality of your products as of costs savings. Complaint logged with sony is[protected]. I have collected data from around 15 persons having the same problem nodisplay or black screen.in india. So i am requesting what to do next bcoz that want now approx 22000 rs to change the panel. What sony are doing with people of india. They are cheaters. Only to sell products then after to collect money from people. Kindly suggest me.

As explained earlier, Display Panel needs to be replaced for satisfactory working of the set. Therefore, the initial service estimate of Rs.21, 676/- was informed to you by Service Centre.                                     Lot of customers still in my list who had faced same panel problem.some of the above I have talked him.above listed customers face same problem between[protected] manufacturing from sony industry. it has been now 5 - days my Brave led tv still remain as it is.when I wake up early in the morning.i put my eyes towards my Bravia led tv .I think what happen to my favorite brand. I always trust in this brand.i hope trust will remain in my mind.my kids always taunts me Papa what will happen to your brand .my friends uses non branded led running good for the last 5- years.
                                    So Kindly /requesting u to solve my problem as soon as possible.but sony company does not resolve my issue . kindly help me.

                                    It was just about completion of my warranty and my panel has been damaged nothing external but only internal, sony is not ready to accept that at least 3 years of panel warranty has to be given, instead they have given a quotation of 23, 000 and have said to pay.

                                    I think what they are doing first they launch product in the market after 2-3 years again collect heavy money form the customers.seriously I am much confused by purchased sony Bravia. They do not have technology.main reason is that for Asian countries quality is low grade and for European countries they supply quality products.that is fact .so we by caught for purchasing sony products...

                                      It is regarding my lcd tv at b-7-6 chander nagar ghaziabad. I contacted their vashali service centre for more than two months back. Your vaishali ghz centre representative came taken visiting charges and assured 2 months back to replace speakers and taken 2000 rupees as advance. But no body has turned up so far neither speakers replaced nor money refunded. On phone they are very alusive..

                                        I purchased sony led tv model klv-32w622e screen size 80centimetre on date 14may 2017 from sony centre gurugram. But when i checked and measured the screen size at home i found the screen size is 73centimetre so it is wrong product as per specification.
