This is to inform you that barely a year or so after a Sony Bravia KD-65A8G, bearing the serial number 8005029, was installed in place of the earlier one, it is found that there are signs of disintegration of the film of the external display panel which may escalate if not attended to.
Mr. Asghar from Sony, has also examined it at my residence himself and we await action since.

This is the second time where my Sony Tv is sought to be replaced on account of admitted manufacturing defect in the panel. It is astonishing rather astounding to note that soon after the warranty period is over the defect emanates . My Tv's warranty just lapsed for not less than a day or two i presume when the complaint was lodged after observing the defect. Hence the question of approving your so called request does not arise. The manufacturing defect within almost a year or so of such high end TV's that too from an esteemed company like Sony is the least one can expect.

We have the avenues open to redress our grievances if the defect is not resolved at your end.

    I am an owner of Sony android TV.

    Four months back because of delay in turning on of TV screen after switching it on. We complained in Sony company, the engineer came and guided us to change the TV screen and so we did.

    Now after changing the screen, there are now multiple white bright spots on the TV screen and this only happened after the changing of screen. It was not present on screen before the replacement of our original screen.

    Now after complaining for this issues. The retailer shops from were we purchase the TV saying that another panel needs to be replaced for which we have to pay.

    How is it possible that for every issue you tell us to replace the particular panel and you ask the customer to pay for it?! Replacing everything one by one will itself lead to the cost of TV we purchased.

    This problem only arose after the changing of screen and now I want my problem resolved in anyways.

          I have a sony MHC V6D which broke done due to some reason.I went to sony service centre to get it repaired but the incharge named manoj is very rude.He took our money and told us to get it repaired from somewhere else.
          This type of service was not expected from a renowned brand like sony.

            I have purchased two LED model X80J AND X90J on 13th Nov'21 and i have been charged almost 8k more on X90j MODEL.

            Dealer Name : Utkarsh Electronics, Jalna Road
            Date of Purchase :13th Nov'21
            Purchased Value : 1 L 34 K
            After cashback from:1 L 25 K
            Price at Other Source : 1 L 18 K

            On complaint to regional manager Sony person executive(Mr. Yogesh Chavan ) at Aurangabad, Maharashtra. He said I shall have purchased the TV before comparison from different seller. He given example of purchasing same as vegetable.

            Similar price difference is there in another X80 J model also.

            Is this Sony brand policy.

            I expect more or less price at different store location like Apple brand at least with Sony products.

            Kindly confirm for what reason I am being cheated.

            Please confirm me resolution urgently in next 24 Hrs.

              We had purchased a new 65" LED Television of Sony brand. The screen of TV is not working.

              So, we had placed the TV for repair at Sony service center, Ahmedabad on 27 Jul 21. Job No. J11281917. They had given estimated cost for parts and repair. We had paid, payment towards estimated repair cost.

              Now, we are told that the part can not be arranged. Now, it is their inability to repair a faulty low quality product. They are not protecting customers and we are forced to buy a new TV against this at so called special price. (the proposed products are available in market for similar price.)

              Request the agency to intervien for getting the TV repaired.

                  The TV was delivered on 1st Nov 2021 and installed by your Authorized Installation team.
                  The ISSUE:
                  I did start using the TV from 2nd Nov 2021 and sometime after usage, I started to get issues that TV would automatically turnoff sometimes with sound and most times without Video + Sound. The problem was very intermittent which created a lot of frustration, I contacted the Installation team and they suggested calling the Customer care number. Since the 4th Nov was a holiday, I could contact the Sony Customer on the 5th Nov and followed the Basic trouble shooting advices from the customer care and finally I was advised to try the Factory data reset. Even after Factory reset, the issue existed.
                  The Service technician had visited on the 5th Nov to check the issue and after multiple trials, he mentioned that he will apply for replacement directly from SONY INDIA. Now it has been 4-5 days and I am following up everyday with PAI International, SONY Customer care and SONY center (SONNECT CARE) and I have been informed that some “TOP Management” needs to approve this replacement.
                  For no fault mine, why should I go through your internal processes and approval? I am already frustrated and disappointed with this buying experience and now started to feel that I should have taken some advices from my close friends to consider another brand!
                  As I mentioned the customer care team, if there is no solution on urgent basis by today, I need to consider further escalation or demand for refund of my money against return of the faulty TV.

                    We have purchased the tv from Vijay Sales Bhandup and

                    Yestarday your technician came for installation of TV.

                    At Morning we have found that the Back Panel of TV Unit came off and Was Crack was seen on panel.

                    This is how the quality of TV is saled to consumer.

                    We have thrust on Sony and we are the regular customer of Sony.

                    We need a complete replacement of TV Unit With Brand New One.

                    Otherwise i will make sure that the further EMI will not be given to Finance company.

                      I purchased a new smart led sony tv on 17th oct 2021 since then i am connecting with customer service(unable to watch movies on zee5) and have dropped a mail still no resolution from their side. Team is not providing any resolution and not even replying on mail. Kindly look into the matter on urgent basis.

                            I have purchased Sony Bravia LED TV (55W800D) S.no - 8523494, dated - 18th October 2017 from Raj Telecom, Deoghar Jharkhand 814112 .

                            I never suggest anyone to buy Sony Bravia products, very bad experience from my side. From my personal experience I had bought the TV at the cost of more than 1 lakh and I have spent 20-30k in its repairing every year.

                            From the last 2 years of purchasing, every year the screen has to face the same type of problem. The colour changes and pictures are not visible only sound is audible.
                            This is the third time I'm facing this problem and I've spent Rs20k+ on it every time.
                            So it's a humble request to exchange the TV If possible.

                              Sony Bravia full android 43 inch tv is not working since 10 days
                              I complained in nearby service centre
                              They first said tekon box problem is there
                              Then they said they wll Carry tv with them to check other problems
                              Then they said tekon box is perfect
                              Motherboard issue is there
                              And now they are saying as this model production is stopped so motherboard is not available.

                                  I have purchased this TV device on 17th December 2016. At the end of company's warranty period ( 2017 ), the panel board got damaged, it was then repaired. Next, at the end of extended warranty period (2019), the mother board got damaged, again this year (2021), the panel got damaged once again. This time we have to pay, as it is out of warranty period. If we repair it, then what is the guarantee that it will not happen again? What kind of product are you selling? I have seen so many similar complaints here. That means your products are not at all of good quality.

                                    Hello,

                                    Our 3D 50inch smart Sony TV screen has vertical colours and background turned black.
                                    Contacted Sony service center and raised complain.
                                    Service engineer visited and by just watching the condition said T Con Board has to be replaced. Took 2000rs advance and ordered the part which would cost us 14000rs.
                                    After 12 days of vigorous follow up they mentioned that no part availability for this product..the product is purchased on Dec 2016 and now Sony has stopped providing parts.
                                    After escalating the matter to the sony management, they had came up with an offer. To replace the TV but we have to pay now tripple the amount of the repair, 41000rs.

                                    Is this justified. Being a customer, just that sony does not have a part.. we have to invest tripple and get a replacement of TV.

                                    How can we get justice and save a family from suffering because of Sony.

                                      I bought sony mdr 650 bt less than a year ago.
                                      Thanks to its delicate hinges, they got broke within 6 months o[censored]sage.

                                      I reached sony service center s. B. Electronics thane-400607 and they say that this specific model can not be repaired by sony as per sony india. It was really shocking to know that you provide after sale support specific to product. Is this what we get in return of brand loyalty. I have been using sony for years now and first time i had to visit the service center just to witness such a poor support.
                                      While earphones are still on sale everywhere why repair is not being provided?

                                      Now the option service center is giving is that they will provide new headphones with some discount. Why should i buy new ones while my earphones are working perfectly with just hinges broke.

                                      Really disappointed with sony service. Kindly guide me the way forward.
