I had some issues ( some part of the picture was white and some lines ) with my Sony TV ( KDL 43w800d ), the technician visits and told us to submit the tv at service centre, So on 30/03/2021 we went to Teknoplaza Sony service centre ( CD95, Sector 1, saltlake, kolkata ) and submitted the Tv . After some weeks they told us we need to change panel or submit it for repair ( March - april ), so i asked them to repair the unit, after that they didnt call for very weeks, we even visited the centre . everytime we visit the centre they say technician is not here, they dont have workers, wait some more time etc . At last visit they said the issue is in "TCON BOARD" not in panel, so if they fix the tcon board it will fix . so we wait some more time, several months passed . After a long wait ( for like 6 months ) we decided to get back the device as they were delaying and wasnt fixing the tv,
We even called the centre that we are picking up the tv,
when we reached the centre and asked for the tv, they told us to wait, after several hours they show us the tv, but when we asked to power it on, they tried to power it on, but TV wasnt even turning on, Now when we submitted the tv the issue was only white pic and lines, and now the TV wasnt even turning on, So we refused to take it . They tried to calm us down saying that " SONY COMPANY dont have the TCON BOARD for the model, SONY COMPANY DONT HAVE THE PARTS, they will try to fix it AGAIN with diff model Tcon board " so we said ok if tv starts working it will be fine, they said it will be fixed in next 2 days, so went back home . After 2-3 weeks they called and saying " you booked return of the product ? the person who called doesnt know what was happeing with the product, after a while she said we will return back the product in same condition it was in "
i tried complaning using sony customer care number, but they saying service centre didnt even update the case to " Tcon Board Problem " its still showing i rejected Panel change .
now my question is
1. Why i had to wait like 7 Months for a repair ? ( March - september )
2. Why service centre didnt update the case issue to TCON BOARD ?
3. Why sony doesnt have his own parts ? Own TCON BOARD of the model 43w800d
4. Why a customer has to face this kind of harrasment ? ( they didnt even bother to call when tv was at service centre, we had to visit and call on our own to get the update )
5. Why when i call customer care they say issue is different and service centre saying issue is different ?

They told us, they cant find product PART ( TCON BOARD )
so they telling us to pay 31 thousand for a different TV ( exchange )
if we fix tv by changing tcon board it will only cost 4000 .
But they telling us to exchange tv for 31 thousand,
why we wanna pay much extra for another tv ?

Updated by Srijanpaul I refused to exchange my product because i recently purchased it for 55 thousand, and now service centre asking for around 30 thousand for a new tv .
So i went to service centre to pickup my product, But when they showed me the tv "ITS NOT EVEN IN THE SAME CONDITION " . when i submitted my tv, My tv was working, only half of the part was white . but it was turning on and sony logo was showing and we can watch things on it . But now its full white, and down the panel has a black shadow.Sony has a responsibility to keep the product safe . they cant provide spare parts . they cant keep the product safe . if they cant fix the product atleast keep the product in same condition .
KIndly the person in charge, i am facing this harassment over 8-9 months .Kindly provide a proper solution for this, i sent over 10-15 emails regarding this .Kindly whoever in charge, please help us.
