Myself mr. Sams tabrez akhtar (Mobile no. [protected]) residence f-45, nit campus rourkela odisha - 769008. I purchased a sony 32"led tv from doordarshan, main road, rourkela - 769001. On 20th february 2016. During purchasing, i didn't check whether internet connectivity is working or not.

On 23rd june 2016, i want to play youtube video on led tv. Then i tried so many times, but connectivity fails. Then i called to customer support, he told me some procedure, but we are unable to play video on sony led tv. After 45 min, customer executive said to me that don't worry sir. I am writing a complaint regarding this problem. The technician will visit at your address within two days. Your complaint/ reference number is 33022034.

After three days a technician came to my address. Mr. Barik (Technician) tried nearly 2 hours, but he was also unable to play video on sony led tv. Refresh internet option takes so much time after that an error occur. Kindly retry. Finally, he said some manufacturing defect is on your tv. Some wi-fi card will change. After that, he tried from lan, but the problem continued.

I purchased this tv after paying 36000 rs. This tv is in manufacturing defect. I think that sony is one brand on which all people can believe blindly. But i was wrong. Today, again i called to the customer support they provide me new complaint/reference number is [protected]. From 15 days the problem is as usual. I am not ready for repair work. I want replacement only.

Now i request sony they replace my sony 32" led tv with new one led tv. I hope you will take action as soon as possible.

    I bought xperia c4 dual in march 2016
    Due to display issues, & camera app not responding issue i have given my phone to service center on 29th june 2016.
    They said that repair will be done in 4 days.
    When i contacted them on 4th july 2016. They were clueless about the status of phone & not able to say exactly when they are going to deliver my handset.
    Please resolve the issue as soon as possible

      Attaching entire email which been initiated with the brand.

      Dear Team @ Sony,

      Firstly thanks for showing an interest on responding over an email with delay of 14 days, The handset having a recurrence issue’s from the day one hence do check the earlier records regarding how many time it had been serviced.

      On dated 6 May 2016 the handset got repaired & returned to us & next day ( Saturday ) late night it got accidentally dropped down in to water bucket where the water got entered in it through camera & edges ( Being handset not properly closedfixed by the engineer in last repair attempt ) where as have called next day ( Sunday ) to the sony online technical support being product is having a feature of water proof dust resistant under sony terms conditions “ Covers must be shut. Only in fresh water up to 1.5 m for 30 minutes “ henceforth have referred by the online team to visit the service center.

      So post visiting the service center they have declared just in first look without arranging water resistivity test that there is customer intention being water entered even at the same time have requested to the service center team about to recheck it with again dropping it in to water but they had denied to do it Also it’s camera have a little bit loose also same instructed to the service center.

      Finally Sony has claimed that the customer has done it intentionally undergone the call will be attended on chargeable basis which won’t be acceptable at all. Post repairing the handset this new issue got occurred which meant under sony terms & conditions it’s a water proof & dust resistant handset.

      In case of you fail to look in to matter as soon as possible I would be forced to

      1. Ask my lawyer to file a consumer complaint against you for gross negligence, and deficient service, as well additional compensation for mental agony and legal costs.

      2. Ask my lawyers to consider the filling of a civil suit against your company.

      3. Start a sustained online campaign spreading the word about the appalling level of service that I have received from you.

      4. Issue press release online and in the print media.


      I hope that I don’t have to take these steps and look forward to an amicable resolution of the issue.

        Hi Team,

        I am very sorry to say that with such bigh brand and reputed organisation i am facing lot of issue wih my sony led tv.The tv was just 4 years old and with in this last 4years i already had various problems with "Main Board".Suddenly the tv showing black screen.so i raised a complain the sony engineer visited my home and suggested to replace the mother board of the tv it costs already Rs.9000/-.Again now within 1 year the the lines are coming in the screen .I have raised a call .The sony Engineer visited my home and he suggested that there is an issue with the display panel which will cost approx Rs. 13000/- .Could you please suggest or help us in resolving the issue as good brand name we never expect such failure in product or please replace with a new peice as i though my piece was may be having the manufactering defect which may result in such failure.I will waiting to hear from you a positive reply.

          Sony service centre in Ujjain(MP) has the worst service. They dont have any technical knowledge. Whenever i ask for some doubt they start calling random people from the office and none of them was able to answer my query. Moreover the time they take for servicing is just too much. And they never answer the phone and then they always keep postponing the date for picking up the mobile. Seriously the service centre is for providing service not to just sit around chitchatting and doing nothing. And then they expect me to pay the service charge. Moreover now my mobile is even more damaged than before. You suck Sony. You are loosing customers due to horrible service at the centers.

              - I am a loyal customer of sony. I am using sony xperia e3 since[protected].
              The warranty period was expired after one year from the date of purchase.
              Since I had purchased the phone I had some issues with mic when
              recording videos in loud environment. The sound in the videos always had
              some disturbances. The handset had some manufacturing defect. I am not
              a hardcore user of the phone. On[protected] my handset suddenly stopped
              working. It is continuously showing sony xperia boot screen on turning on. I
              approached your service center at Dehradun on[protected]. They gave me
              a Service ID [protected]. They charged a hefty fees of Rs. 400 which was
              in vain and they said that the motherboard of your handset is damaged and
              it cannot be repaired. They said that it will be replaced and it will cost me
              approx. Rs 5000 and there is no guarantee that how long will it work in
              future.I am passionate about sony as a company. I frequently give
              reference to my friends, neighbors and relatives to use its products. I am
              also using sony xperia m (purchased from the same store) on my own. I
              never went to any service center regarding this phone as I am using it since
              2 years.I know sony doesn't manufacture bad quality products as in the
              case of my handset sony xperia e3.

              - You are advised to kindly work according to your market value.
              Further I request you to please either replace this defective piece of mine
              or refund my money.

                Yesterday I met with accident on road from bike but unfortunately my sony xperia c4 handset is fallen down in rain water from that time onwards touch was not working and automatically touch is worked itself without my attention. But this mobile is soooo important for me because much data is there in my mobile so please clear this issue as soon as possible.

                  I had deposited my sony vaio laptop with 8gb ram (4gb inbuilt + 4gb extra) to sai enterprise, darbhanga (authorized sony service center) on 27 june 2016 for repairing as it was not starting and charging but they charged 17000/- stating that the motherboard will be replaced. so i have taken my laptop back from them on 1 july 2016 and in full faith i hadn't cross checked my laptop internal components while receiving (by paying inspection charge rs.115) but while casual check up at my home i found out that the original 4gb samsung ram of laptop provided by sony was not in its slot and only one 4gb kingston ram fitted by me was there. so i called sai enterprise and asked if they have mistakenly removed my ram but they refused quoting sony's legacy. now i doubt whether they also have replaced my good motherboard with their damaged one. i completely lost my faith and i want justice from these cheaters and want back my ram and whatever other components they have replaced and want my laptop to be repaired free of cost as my compensation.

                    I have registered complaint to sony no. About double image on screen. My complaint no is 32573887 dt 4th jun 2016.
                    Representative of sb electronics, sony authorised service centre, thane have identified problem of panel. I have paid rs 1000 dt 7th june 2016, as advance payment towards panel.
                    Your service centre representative have replied that
                    As per defect in set we order the required lcd panel but supply shortage issue. Then management has decided 25% discount on mrp for any new sony bravia led model in exchange of your old sony bravia model. Pls check the new sony led model & pls confirm asap.
                    It is discouraging to find the defect has cropped within short period of time and the heavy cost required for its repair. Also after going through the sites of consumer complaints and compliantboard, it seems there are several complaints about the panel relating to display in lcds and leds. Hence i am not inclined to go for further investment in buying a sony led with 25% discount against the buy back of my present lcd. I want to have my tv repaired at reasonable cost or would like to know about other options.

                      Hi,

                      I have purchased "sony led 81cm klv-32ex330" on 08/11/2012 through tata croma in banglore with 1 year extended warranty.

                      Recently i have got an issue with tv and taken to "vigneshwara sony service center banglore" on 4/06/2016 (With the job id: j[protected] and after they rverified they said, it has some issue with led back light and they will check and update clearly on that. Later after a week i got a call from them and said you need to replace led back light completely and it may cost around 11000. I said ok to get new repair it. Again after a week they said, part is not available in india, we have other option to get resale value for tv. I said anything could be fine, and they have asked for purchase invoice and i have sent everything and informed me like will get get back to you in a week.

                      On jun 17 2016, i have mailed my invoice to "[protected]@gmail.com" and didnt get any response for a week, i called them again and they said, we are not using that mail id send it another mail id. Again on jun 24 2016 i have mailed invoice to "[protected]@gmail.com" and samething happened. Didnt get any response from service center.

                      So finally called to sony customer care on 24th, they said they will talk with local service center and get back to you by evening or tommorrow. No response for next two days and again called to customer care again on 27th jun 2016. The same words they repeated again will get back to you by tommorrow. No response since 5 days. So i have called them again on 1st july 2016 at 2:15 pm. They customer service was very strong enough to say words like you problem will get resolved by tommorrow. And later he said, if your problem is not going to resolve by tommorrow you can file any legal complaint.

                      Here the thing is people from local service center are redirecting problem to sony main branch and from sony main branch they are redirecting problem to local service center.

                      Finally, i want to understand from sony, its not a 5-10 years ols back tv, where you wont have option to get your tv parts. Its just been 2.5 years old tv and why those parts are not available in india to provide the service on time. If not so.. You should have an quick option to resolve your customers problem.

                      On 2nd of July till 4:45 PM I havent got any call from anyone regarding sony service issues. Later I have decided to call to service and called them. Mr Saurabh and is his supervisor Mr Asheesh was saying that, same story.. give us one more day your problem will get resolved. I said I am not going to believe you anyone. Finally after a long conversation he decided and told me By Monday afternoon 12:00 noon he said he is gonna resolve my problem. Need to see how Mr Asheesh is gonna resolve the problem.
                      On 2nd of July till 4:45 PM I havent got any call from anyone regarding sony service issues. Later I have decided to call to service and called them. Mr Saurabh and is his supervisor Mr Asheesh was saying that, same story.. give us one more day your problem will get resolved. I said I am not going to believe you anyone. Finally after a long conversation he decided and told me By Monday afternoon 12:00 noon he said he is gonna resolve my problem. Need to see how Mr Asheesh is gonna resolve the problem.
                      As Mr Asheesh prmosied me last friday, He hasnt called me at all to give the update. So I can understand from here.. None of sony service guys are really not looking for customers problem. They are just occupied office chairs to earn money, Not for helping customers.

                      Thought of talking with Mr Asheesh on this, and Mr Asheesh was left from the work and Mr Anil as super visor took my call and reperated same words as everyone says like give us one more day.

                      Here I can understand that how many supervisors does sony customer service center you need to wait those many days to get resolve your problem.

                      Becoz of XXXX people at sony customer service center. Mr SONY Company, remember you are LOSING YOUR BRAND from the customers.

                        I am loyal customer of sony, my family use sony product since 1995, in my home we have 3 xperia mobile one "m" and two "c" mobiles, i have sony bravia t. V. Kdl-800c 43", 2 nos pen drives (16gb), 2 nos memory sticks (8 gb), sony music system g-50ii, sony cyber shot 17 mega-pic,
                        Last 27th june there was heavy rain in my city, due to rain there was some moisture in my phone sony xperia c, my pnone`s touch-screen was not woke properly, but i can call or receive by hands-free, my phone`s screen also works, even sim card and memory card slot works. I give my mobile phone to nearer service station named"paswa service ' alkapuri, vadodara my job card no is w[protected]. They said that it mite be problem in mother - board or screen, on 30 june, i get call from service station, technician said that there is problem in sim board!!! How can it possible, there was only problem in touch screen, even small child can understand but sony service cheat me!!! Due to such kind of service people avoid to buy sony product!!! Please help me, do something for me other wise i am going to buy any china made phone and i put this issue on social media...

                          I bought sony xperia m4 aqua on 25/9/2015, I am facing lot of problems in the set like wise over heating, hanging, restarting frequently.all these problems occurred 6 to 7 times during the small span of the time of 6 month to 9 months. My set has being replaced several times by the sony service center but I could not find the fine replacement . I am very disappointed by this product sometime by this set i had been suffered from very hazard position in my working days and they (sony service center) refused me to replace my phone with new set. They always use to update software every time but they havent provide me new set till yet .

                                Sub: damage occured during repair at service centre (Maddonna elctronics, avs building, mg road kochi-682035): sony cyber shot dsc-wxs 50
                                Dear sir,
                                I have given my cyber shot digital camera model no. Dsc-wx50 to your authorized service centre (Madonna electronics, avs building, mg road, ernakulam, kochi-682035) on 22 dec 15 with the complaint of not closing of lens - shutter properly. The service center told me that there is a need of replacement of lens and the charges estimated to be of rs 2200/-. (Service job sheet no. J53399488 dated 22-12-15, copy annexed)
                                After that there was no communication from the service center and telephones are not being attended at service centre. After a gap of approximate four months, the shop was found open and when i enquired about my camera, they told me that there was a dealership issue at service center and ensure me the repair of my camera at the earliest and i have been told to pay the advance amount and i have paid an advance amount of rs 500/- to the service centre (Bill no.5919, copy attached).
                                Then also, there were no communication from the service centre even after paying the advance. After numerous telephone calls, they told me (In the month of may 2016) that the camera is ready. When i went for collection, i noticed that there is a gap between front and back cover of the camera. When i enquired, they replied that one of the inner leg of front cover is broken and they unable to repair it due to non-availability of spare parts, since the production of particular model has been stopped.
                                The damage was occurred during repair of the camera. This was clearly the part of negligence by the technician which the item was repaired. It is the responsibility of service centre to return the camera in fully serviceable condition.
                                Sir, i request you intervene and ask the service centre to replace the front cover of the camera and return it with fully serviceable condition. Otherwise a new camera of same configuration should be given. Hope, the matter will be judiciously settled at your end to avoid further proceedings.

                                  My name is dinesh singh... I am from haldwani nainital, uttrakhand. I am just frustrated from your service center here in haldwani, you know i have given my digital camera since sunday i. E 26/06/2016.. For the inspection but still not got any proper feedback from them... Every time whenever i am trying to call them... They are just ignoring me and telling will let you know the status with in 5 min... I can not tolerate it any more... Its all happening due to your poor service... I have many product of sony.. Like laptop, mobile phone and camera.. I always use to go to your service center,, but even they have not manner that how to talk to their clients... Very disappointed...

                                    Hi! Purchased a sony led 52"tv in 2012, no trouble till date but now there was some issues and the picture was not coming so called sony india for professional help.. Now the response point wise:
                                    1) approached by technician monu on first visit, as per him a part is to be replaced of the mother board, approx price 14000/- and he would come back and repair at home - was ok by me.
                                    2) called after a few days that the part is not available and has to be imported so he will take the tv and repair the same and give it back, cost 3800/- for repair - again was ok by me and the tv 52" was promptly picked up by sony.
                                    3) now the information is that the repair is not possible, mother board has to be replaced for 29000/-, company silent about importing part.
                                    Its not about the money but this sort of dealing is not expected from sony, now there is no response, tv is till not being repaired and returned, will request to pls intervene and solve this fiasco so that it does not get blown out of proportion.
                                    Sony India customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.

                                      I have purchased a led 32 r 412d#42103 via invoice 652794 dated 25/06/2016 from bismi home appliances, international stadium, kaloor - 17.
                                      The dealer said the company person will come on 26/06/2016 and install the tv we waited on monday mr. Niyas (Cell no.[protected]) came and installed the tv and asked rs.2500/- (Two thousand five hundred only) as service charges. And my sister gave the amount and when asked...

                                      Sir: i purchased sony xperia m imei no ([protected]) on 14th of december 2014. My xperia m died suddenly 2 days ago. I had already got the jack repaired from authorized sony service center with in a year of purchase. The device was submitted to the authorized sony service center (Jp electronics-jp2/fy16-06/0000202) on 27th june 2016.
                                      As per inspection at the service center i am told that the motherboard of my device has become dysfunctional. I am surprised, given the quality assurance of sony, that the device has experienced sudden death despite of careful handling and usage with in 1 and half year of time.
                                      I had not expected such a performance from the products of a globally renowned company. I expect some positive consumer friendly approach from the company, either to repair my device or give some suitable compensation.
