Bought an xperia m4 aqua 5 months back. Gave heating issues from the very next day (Thought they will be fixed with the update but it never got fixed). Two months o[censored]sage and the rear camera is gone (Gives camera error on opening the app). Now even mic doesn't work during calls.
Had complained it on company website and through mail but no response. Got as an automated response from sony india stating "we will endeavor to respond to your query within next 48 hours" but they never came back.
Its been more than 2 working weeks since i've raised this issue, all i got as a response is to do a software repair myself that too after describing in brief that i've already tried that one out. Never expected such a careless and unprofessional behavior.

After digging on their forum (Which is full of similar cpmlaints), its pretty clear that this camera and mic problems are in the whole xperia m4 aqua manufacturing lot and are not being taken care seriously by sony. I dont want to get stuck in the never ending cycle of giving phone for repairs multiple times as they already did to few customers who reported the same.

    Hello sir, this is Sagar Jadvani from Surat.
    Actually i have problem regarding Sony xperia Z5 E6683 still in warranty and its slip in water so it's not working now as said by Sony agent when i Bought it they said it totally Waterproof so how it not working even my phone not stay more then 1 minute in water i picked up suddenly after it slop in water but the problem is that i'm going continuously at sony Service center at M-24-27, Sar Corporate center, Nr Rajkumar cinema, Shatri Road, Udhana Darwaja, Ring Road, Gujarat, Surat-395002. They are give me bill of 27, 000 for parts include in phone but sir if its in warranty and even it waterproof so how can they say me for money and forever it 27, 000 rs, Sir it's humble request please handle it very well they are taking sony in law rate because it's not joke...
    Still my process is on going but i'm not going to pay again for this becauseit's in warranty and even Waterproof.. Please give me solution for this my job Seat No (Ticket ID) : [protected] Date : 13 May 2016 please solve out it. Thank you Very much if your kind of help.

      There was a white dot in TV screen and it started spreading gradually and so we raised a complaint on 18-Apr which was attended on the same date. They said the screen has to be replaced and they will place an order for the screen.
      Subsequently they took our tv for servicing only on 26-May-2016 (it took 1 month and 10 days) to recv a tv part, ridiculous. After which there were no calls from the service centre abt returning the TV. After we called they said they will fix the issue and give us the next day which is unethical. Very bad servicing and the life of Sony parts or the TV is very bad. We purchased only in 2010 but till date we have given it for servicing thrice which is awful

        Sir/mam,

        I have purchased a sony led tv 50w800d on 30th april in bangalore.

        Within few days observed that tv hangs and its coordination with remote goes off after some time.

        I have called customer care @ [protected] on 19th may and updated about the issue.

        They have provided me a reference # 32281493 and assigned the complaint to vigneshwar services @ bangalore.

        Executive came and updated that tv has issue and it needs to be replaced.

        Since then i am trying to follow up with vigneshwar services @ bangalore but no one care to respond.

        Horrible experience of service from sony.


        I am unable to view tv and suffering from last 1 month.

        Please sort out the issue immediately.

          I handed over my xperia sony z 3 compact phone to the authorized service center in amritsar on 2nd may 2016. The problem was the front camera was not working. The product was bought in nov 2015.

          Till date despite repeated e mails and calls to the sony office - i have received no concrete reply or status with regards to my phone. The only answer i have got is - please wait.

            Dear sir,

            I mr raj kumar purchased a sony mobile phone model c4 e5363 from croma show room ansal plaza, greater noida on 20.10.2015 vide bill no slf 02a[protected]. The imei details as under :-

            I am sorry to say that the date of purchase the mobile is giving multiple troubles. Twice it has been made defective. On shown to service centre, they says that its hardware is defective. Presently there is no battery back up and while touch a particular button, functions other buttons.

            I am totally fad up with this mobile set and no further repair is accepted. You are requested to pl replace the mobile as soon as possible.

              Hi,

              My name is gajendra nk, registered mobile # [protected], sf # 34564187, invoice # 028, i purchased sony xperia z5 on april 12 2016, i was happy in the initial stage however slowly i started noticing that the phone started heating up near the to the camera. I wanted to go the shop from where i had purchased this handset to rectify this issue however as i have my own bakery and confectionery i was unable to go. I purchased the phone from "saanvi enterprises, 259/9, bhavani, 4th main, ram & co circle, p. J. Extension, davangere-577002. Contact # :[protected]. And couple days days before i had to travel to darmastala temple in karnataka, as i had some family rituals to attend and suddenly i saw that my phone acting so weird, first i saw two red vertical lines and suddenly the phone got switched off. After some time i tried to switch my sony xperia z5 and got switched on. I was happy when my phone got switched on. However by evening the same day again the same thing took place and could see a black portion on the left hand side of the screen. Once after reaching
              Davangere i called the customer care and i spoke to three or four customer care executive and i told them the whole issue what had happened and they informed me that if there is any kind issues related to liquid or if the phone had fallen from my hand then there is no replacement warranty and also they provided me the ticket id # [protected] however i informed them all that nothing of that had happened from my end and they gave the authorized service center in davangere"srishti enterprises"and i took the phone to center and as soon i showed the phone to service center people and they said the phone is broken and i was surprised and informed them that i have never dropped the phone any were or given any pressure over the phone to get it broken. I'm not that mad to break a phone for which i have spend rs.26000. What i feel is it could have because the phone used to get heated up very badly as i have stated before. According to me this phone and sony people are crap and they are cheating customers. So i would like to let the customers know that this phone is crap according to my experience and request you all to be careful before buying any sony product as they will never do any replacement as they promise to do. And i also forgot to mention one important thing when i asked how much it would cost to replace the screen they informed me that it might cost between 4500 to 5500 and from this statement what i understood was that they themselves don't know what is the real cost. So why do they keep such kind of people. Any way it is my fate and i'm the loser.

              So all my dear customer who intend to buy any product from sony my request to you all"think before you buy sony products". I would like to let you all know that what ever i have mentioned here is totally true and i plead for justice.

                Dear sir,
                I bought sony led tv klv-32ex330in5 on[protected] from chandra vision (Sony centre), no.1 vedantam street, g. S. T road, tambaram sanitorium, chennai-600047 along with v-guard mini crystal stabilizer. (Invoice no:4657)
                On saturday[protected] @ 4 pm suddenly the picture colour becomes grey and showing double images of pictures and letters. Then within 30 minutes i taken to the sony authorized service center, abirami plaza, 17/4 m. K. Reddy st., west tambaram.
                They told the display has gone and it will cost rs 11, 000 (Eleven thousand). I am bit surprised and pained about the sony quality. So i would like to know from the responsible sony personnel, is this true and how come the power from stabilizer thru sony supplied power adapter will failure the display screen with in the span of 3 years 8 months, then this is the quality of sony product. I recall my thoughts that, because of top quality and leaders in tv technology only made me to take decision to buy sony tv, now i felt that, is i made a wrong decision.

                  Sony xperia z1 is a next version of Z series after xperia Z and is costly around 40000 rs but it does not support 4G, while other companies give 4G phones at a quiet reasonable price. The main question is that if the older version of Z series support 4G then why not the next version. It is very sad that at such a high price sony is not offering all services while other mobile manufacturer gives it at a low price. SONY should give replacement for this. Its not satisfactory to give such big amount and not get gud features. Sony is a big company and this carelessness is not acceptable.

                    I hv ordered product on 18th May and merchant has sent 19th may and expected delivery time 24th may and maximum time 26 may. I continued calling and I logged ticket also but you're side no one respond and no one update to customer at least when product is delivered they call and confirmed I hv logged ticket how it was closed without any confirmed to customer.

                    Till date not received product.
                    Please provide solution ASAP otherwise I have to go consumer court. Because I spoke so many senior executives but they not answering proper daily thay it was new problems and we need 24 hrs & 72 hrs.
                    I spoke with these peoples Mamtha Rani, Imran, Bhavana, chatan, bhupinder and Arti etc.

                      I purchased a sony external hard disc (Hd-e1) from adhithta electronics in chennai on[protected], bill # 4986 is for the amount of 5300.00. (Please see attachment of original bill). It is still under warranty. Please see attachment of original sony warranty card. My hd-e1 is registered under sn.#edvoaig3927178f. While it was still under warranty, on[protected], i gave it for repair under warranty to the authorized sony service center: roshan electronics located at #l123, panchamantra road, kuvempunagar, mysore 570023. The sony technician named mi. Vishwa (Mobile# [protected]) preformed the work on it for me and on[protected] i paid him 550.00, he gave me a hand written receipt that was made on a sony address location document. Please see attachment of original hand written receipt. I was told this mr. Mi vishwa no longer works for sony, but you can still call him to verify my complaint. I visited this same authorized sony service center: roshan electronics located at #l123, panchamantra road, kuvempunagar, mysore 570023, on[protected], and both your sony technician named suml and zebi, refused to service my hd-e1 under warranty for asecond time. Please see original attachment of sony service center visitor card’s back side for technicians name spelling. I had them call mi. Vishwa and he verified that he previously serviced my hd-e1 under warranty. But, he claimed he did not give me an official warranty work order receipt, because he used aftermarket parts to repair my hd-e1 hard disc. Why was i not given the original warranty card receipt when i paid 550.00 for the warranty work??? And why was second hand aftermarket parts used to repair my hd-e1 by mi. Vishwa in the first instant??? Even though i produced all the correct documents for warranty work on[protected], the authorized sony service center: roshan electronics still refused to service my hd-e1 sony hard disc product to date. Why? Note: i had a mysore police member with me at the time that mi. Vishwa received my hd-e1 on[protected] for warranty work and he is willing to make a statement on this matter. So why won’t your local authorized sony service center: roshan electronics located at #l123, panchamantra road, kuvempunagar, mysore 570023, service it for me again for free or under sony warranty, being it is the exact same warranty work i am in need of once again for my hd-e1 for a second time. Note: the original warranty work done by your prior authorized sony service center employee mi. Vishwa failed. “i am a big fan of sony” and this disappoints me!

                        I feel being cheated by sony

                        I bought sony aqua m4 phone in april 2015 and it dint even last for one year. I faced over heating problem from the start and the handset kept on getting off every now and then. One morning suddenly it stopped getting on. The service center said mother board and battery got damaged because of some liquid seeping in and hence causing short circuit. For repair it will take rs. 10300,
                        What nonsense is this? How suddenly this story of liquid seeping in is possible when the phone was kept near my pillow.

                        I feel my money got wasted on sony product

                          Such a pathethic mobile launched by sony india.. I was dyeing fan on sony my all the friend circle and & my family members are using sony smart phone..

                          I was a user of sony ultra.. But due to some issue is the mobile phone the service center people had replaced my mobile phone to z 1. That to they had taken 3 month..

                          I am really pissed off your service.

                          The issue is not solved yet.. After replacing my mobile phone i started using z 1...

                          You guys are fooling me... Its not more than 40 days and the phone got a crack while its was in my front pocket..

                          After a bad experience... I will not suggest any of my friend to buy sony smart phone

                              They solved the problem 2 times but the problem kept on come again then

                              I have agian given the mobile in service ceneter now my since last 24 days my mobile is in service center and i am not getting any solution and follow up till now
                              I have comlaint about this matter in head office before 4 days but they also not giving any response aginst my comlaint and when i call them they say it will take 48 hours more

                                My Tv was gone out on 12/5/2016. After complaint (J[protected] attended on 18/05/2016. It is observed that sony adopter has gone out. I immediately deposited advance on same day to get new one. However till today company have not taking cognizance to call me back or through SMS to aware me about the status of complaint. I have call several times to service Center & customer care. There reply is only repetition of One phrase " Service is under process" and they dont know
                                present status. weather part is available or not. Expected period for delivery of part.

                                  Requesting all not to by any sony product

                                  Due to their design problem we have to pay extra
                                  Presently my cell is having a small creak on display
                                  Dont buy any sony product... Plz... Due to sony mobile design problem we have to bare extra charges. While company open it for repair. Its major parts are broken due to sony product design problem and we have to pay extra for that broken parts additionally. And before you get the product in your hand you have to not after repair when you get your product in your hand and you are satisfied... So again i am requesting all of you not to but any product from sony...!!! Thank you. With regards vikas chaudhari

                                    I have purchased this mobile 2- 3 month before 1 time this has replaced from Sony service center 1 time bettery got change. Still there is same problem battery backup is so poor. Mobile heating while charging Or calling time.bettery automatically got discharg even I use internent in this phone or most of time I am not using that phone still its bettrey got discharge I want solution ASAP. I thing I have waste my money 20, 000 Rs

                                      I am writing this mail to utter dissatisfaction against your product and customer care
                                      I have purchased tv kdl-42w850a, two years earlier that product not satisfied due to the following problem

                                      A) most of video files (Mp4&avi) not supported through pen drive
                                      B) some video files played 2 to 30 min. Than error shown"playback not available"
                                      C) some video files not supported through dvd player
                                      D) all most video files not supported through screen mirror,

                                      The above problem do not solved after software updated as per customer care advice on 28.5.16

                                      Than call again customer care they told "why to buy this tv" and this video file format problem we cannot attending,

                                      Please clarify
                                      1. Why to released failer model tv?
                                      2. Did you attended the same feedback?
                                      3. If attended, why didn't solved this issue?
                                      4. Do you know all most video files format supported other company tv s even local make also?
                                      5. Do you know the same problem in your most of tv models?
                                      6. Do you understand this is manufacturing problem?

                                      Please solve this issue free of cost or return back to you tv and advice to your customer care execute how to attending customer.

                                        I t. Jyothi have purchased a home theatre on 26.05.16 vide bill no. Vss-1804 from sondarya shopee visakhapanam. While purchasing the sales man named shri.Srinivas phno: [protected] told us that instalation will be with in 12 hrs if the distance is 35 km and it will be 24 hrs if the distance is above 35km.
                                        My house is located with in 10 to 12km in the city and itz almost 30 hrs and there is very poor response from the service centre
                                        I received two messages as follows to my mobile [protected] on 26-05-16
                                        1) dear customer your service request is registered with us vide id 32423035 at 7.20pm

                                        2) dear customer your service request id 32423035 is assingned to s.S.Technologies, dno.52-9-3.Resapuvanipalem jaibheri maruthi showroom visakhapanam.13 with phone number[protected] at 7.45pm
                                        Since morg. I have been calling to the service centre to install home theatre but invain...!And on other side they have been giving me wrong information that they would come this evg.And install. And at 7, 30pm they again says that it will be installed tomaro evg,

                                        1)i want to know what is the rule o[censored]r company regarding insatallation?

                                        2)i[censored] cannot provide better services to the customer why give wrong messages to the public and fool them?

                                        3) if man power is less regarding installation that cannot be paid by the customer in the form of delay
                                        4) what is the big fun for a customer to keep the product at home without installation?

                                        May be brutal...Itz fact that i regret to purchase ur product.. ! I feel the authority of the company shld answer me...What right the sony service people have to play with our time, anxiety and emotion...?
                                        I want immediate action and explanation on delay to persons who r responsible...
                                        U have spoiled my time...Mood ...!Once again i repeat... I regret to buy ur product...!And definetly suggest others not to buy ur product...As ur services are extremely poor and itz not worth investing...!
