I will never buy another Sony Product Again! 2 of my 3 Sony tv's are having major problems. As well as my Sony Playstation! I will never buy another Sony product again! I am 22 years old and have watched their products deteriorate over the past 1 years. At first I thought it was a fluke but after talking to other people, have found that they are having the same problems too. So my advice to anyone reading these reviews, Stay away from Sony! They used to be quality now they are expensive junk!
I thought by buying a Sony product that I was getting the best but I was wrong. I had a Panasonic for 7 years and never had a issue. What's up SONY ?

    Dear Sony, it is quite depressing feedback regarding a newly purchased Sony Xperia Z3 Plus I purchased from Zumbo elc., Elante mall, Chandigarh on 17.05.16. I started facing the problem on the same day when I was unable to get the quick charging response as claimed over the box and overheating, I immediately called the Jumbo officials name Gagneet, the manager and Mandeep, the xecutive who dealt regarding above handset and told the problems I faced. Gagneet above, however assured that this might happening due to the new device and everything will be fine, on assurence, I kept using for another day, but facing the same problem severly I contacted them again and told the whole story. Imp to mention that i had told them that I have a working profile that i will be unable to give visits. Anyhow, I visited taking time out hardly, and told them the problem and showed them, they suggested me to contact the customer service centre, which was shocking for mw as it was newly purchased handset and no one wud like to contact service centre the other day. It was evening, and then I did not get the time due to my working profile, which seeks 24 hours presence from me, and then due to medical emergencies in my family I could not visit. However, I kept informing the above officials time to time. The problems I faced were,
    1. Excessive heating, making it difficult to hold even.
    2. Non responsive camera even after a simgle click, which does not work in summer sometimes for a single click.
    3. Does not get charged quickly as claimed over the nox and explained by above executives.

    4. Device shows message that it needs to cool down when using camera for clicking or video.
    Further, I had to submit it as I got time in Chandigarh, India sec 47 service centre of Sony, who did not gave me standby handset for use.its very humiliating, harrasing, deceitfull, embarrasing for a customer who is paying considerable amount for faith over a brand like Sony and in return facing this for no fault of mine. I request from Sony to kindly replace my handset as I started facing the problem sice the day I purchased, and had informed the executives time to time andit got delay is unintentional due to medical and profile issue, which was brought in knowledge of officials timely.       I am using sony earphones since october and after three months i got it replaced as one of the earplug stopped working suddenly and again i am facing the same problem with these new earphones and i am residing in jawahar nagar and it has only service centre in roop nagar and it does not deal with earphone things.i went there and they asked me to go to shastri nagar to get my earphones replaced. I am really disappointed by the service provided by sony care.i am also using sony xperia z3 compact and the service center in roop nagar does not deal with out of warranty stuff.i got some prblm with the phone then again i went shastri nagar for four times to get it solved.this is such an irritating thing.if you are providing your service to the customers why don't u provide it full.earlier it was good but now i am very much disappointed with the kind of service u r providing.i won't recommend anybody to buy sony stuff.i am done with sony.now again i can not go to shastri nagar to get it replaced.i will switch over to some other company.

        I am sudhir kumar and i just got a sony led television from ezone store on 15/04/16 and i socked when i just open the cover and i don't found the remot of led its is useless for me with out remote i am very disappointed for this kind of niglegancy i spend the amount around 13777 it is lose for me.
        If i not get the led television remote than i disclose in social media
        I post in social media this kind of fraud is doing sony company with the consumer.
        I want the soluation.

            Issue of no sound no picture was reported to sony customer care on 03.05.2016 with
            complaint id : 31986549. The service engineer came and reported that the AC DC adapter needs to be replaced. Advance of 2000 was taken and I was told that the part would be replaced within a week. Three weeks have passed and still there is no progress on the complaint. Whenever I call the service center I am told that the order for the part has been placed but the part has not been received. There is no information as to when the complaint will be addressed

              Respected madam/sir,
              I bought the sony tv model no kdl46w700a on 29-dec-2013. Now it is 2 years and 5 months old. For the past 2 weeks the display has a single horizontal line and i requested the sony service for help. The service work order no is 32299059. They said the led panel is gone and would cost 30k to replace. It was very shocking for me to digest. We always buy superior brand products who are no 1 in market. I have another sony led tv which is 7 years old with no complaints. Despite your warranty terms and conditions, our trust is more towards the brand and not your warrant terms. This is very shocking for us to accept that sony products went wrong in such a short period.
              I have got feedbacks from my uncle and cousin that their 40” led panel also went wrong which they bought it from abroad. So i was in an impression that during transit something would have happened. So i was very confident in buying sony product in india based on my own experience. The problem in my new tv makes me rethink about my trust against sony brand.
              Please take this escalation to your senior levels and please replace the led panel without any cost. Hope for a positive response in this regard.

                I have bought xperia z2 in last may and recently after a system update my mic started working weirdly, other person could not hear my voice and then it became distorted too. I went to the service center they kept it for a week and after returning the calls were received on speaker and with the same mic problem. Now i went second time and after coming back the mic problem still prevails and also my internet is not working on 3g. I have confirmed with the network company its the mobile fault. Can you please give a solution to the same as it is still in warranty.

                  I bought a sony xperia z3 during october 2014. Sony claims it is waterproof. The initial 6 months, i was getting blurry images when shot using its camera. I ignored it. But 2 weeks back, i rubbed the back of the phone with water (To clean it ofcourse). And i noticed water leaking inside the camera lens. The wifi/bluetooth stopped working thereon. It was purely because of the water entering the device.

                  When i gave the phone for service, i was given an estimation of 14000rs which is so unethical, disloyal and unfair. I cant even sell the mobile for 14000rs.

                  Now as a customer, when i bought this mobile, i was under the impression that this mobile is a waterproof one. No matter the warranty exists or not, it should act like one.

                  The phone was never dropped and it was used with a branded american case, please check the condition of the device.

                  Now tell me, why should i pay a huge sum of money for this device? Its daytime robbery.

                    I purchased a sony xperia m4 aqua dual mobile on 23.06.2015 through flipkart vide tax invoice no # mum_bndi[protected]. Imei no of the mobile is "[protected]".

                    Initially it was warming too much. Now sound is totally off. I am unable to hear the voice of other person on call.

                    I attained sony's authorised service centre at 158 shyama prasad mukherjee road, kalighat, kolkata, west bengal, pin-700026 twice for fixing-up the sound problem.

                    Although my handset is under warranty period but they denied to provide any service free of cost since there is a very small crack on the touch pad at the edge of my handset. They said, since there is a crack mark on your mobile, your warranty is now invalid and you have to pay for any service.

                    My mobile is in the warranty period and there is a problem of sound but sony's authorised service centre is denying to provide necessary service.

                      I have purchased sony experia aqua m4 dual for rs. 19000 on 27.07.2015.
                      My mobile got automatically locked in first week after purchase and had to submit it to service center.
                      After receipt o[censored]nlocked phone found that speaker and microphone was not working. Again 2’nd time submitted to service center and in return i got defective refurbished phone and found that dead pixels on screen.
                      Again 3’rd time submitted to service center and in return again i got defective refurbished phone and found dead pixels on screen at different location.
                      Now 4’th time i have submitted the phone on 27 april 2016 but i have not received the phone yet.
                      Most of the time my phone is staying at service center since purchased and i am not able to use it, so i have raised request of refund or replacement with new seal pack device instead of refurbished phone. But till now no resolution received. They are lingering me and wasting my time. This is how sony is treating / harassing their customers.
                      Person from customer care is replying that i will get new sealed packed phone but service center is denying for the same. Till date no resolution is received. Please do needful.

                        Asike the service center at bangalore bannerghatta road, and athe yadiyr cross all bogus they have taken the name of sony and posing as the authrorised service center but there is no email id, as well the technician are like rogues and theives comes to the houses in the night, mr manjunath who is came at night 10 o clock and without proper id as well posing as threat, as says that he will issue the vocher and one need to pay rs250, what for? And he has not done any thing more over it is not sony appointed, we people are totally confused an cheated by these agents first cancel the licences of these bogus service centers who simply try to loot the people without work as well simply they comes in bike and issue the vocher and says that athe estimatioin they give tomorrow then we know what they give, its 12-16 thousand and one cannto offered but we hav0 to this thief, and any way they knows that people cannot offered simply collect rs250 and abscond, like this daily nearly 100 houses means 100x250 25000 rs, for doding nothing as well there is no dealer who can rectify the simply compalint defects, what is the use of hte dealership firs ban this practice of the looting the customers by the dealers as well looting by the name of the sony service center, the name of the dealer is mrs abdhivrudhhi. Tech, and its all bogus and why they dont have the email @sony.com,,,,, simply the general mail they have the abhivrudhi. [protected]@gmail. Comban whihc any fool can create, its cheating and mass exploitation to the people first immediately ban such bogus service agents and looting and bony getting bad name as well people are not going for sony products because of these day time robbers who exploit the name of sony, cancel the licencs if at all you made the understanding with these bogus agents, and cheating the public wimply it has become threat to the society, first ban and cancel the licenses and dont entertain such anti social elemtns. Because all estimation that this all bogus and cheating and money making practice, outside its done with just 1000 rs, where are this sony center so called (We dont know whether its sony appointed or not wse dont know) if at all sony apointed they why they dont have the email id of sony, why bogus email and general domain, stop this we write to consumer courst also for this threat and cheating

                          Dear sir,
                          I am writing this mail to utter dissatisfaction against the adopted system in replacement of led tv and the lies, false information given by your bhubaneswar based rajpath service centre. I need inform you that i am a owner of 42' led tv model-klv42ex410 which has horizontal lines in panel and damaged speakers. I had an extended warranty from resq, reliance digital based which i gave a complaint to reliance digital people. After due inspection both by sony service and digital, the sony person told me that te panel will be replaced which they couldn't do even after months due to unavailability of spares. Then the sony service person /resq authorities told that resq will be submitting 24000.00 rupees dd to sony and i will be issued a new tv set with same size and similar/more features from sony, which is a general practise. After around 2 months of continuous follow up atlast yesteday the repalcement tv came and to my displeasure i found it to be of 40' inches. I told the installation person not to install it as i needed tv of same size or more.

                          When i talked to sony service centre, rajpath in bapuji nagar, bhubaneswar, they first gave a casual reply that they were unaware of my size of tv. After some time another person from service centre called me and told as per my room size 40'inch led tv is a good one and he tried to convince me to keep it. I told him i only wanted same size/more tv. My question is where one inch more 43' led tv is already available, why they are forcing their choice to me. If 42' inch led tv production is stopped, then why customer like me will be sufferer for it. Last not the least i always thought sony creates marvelous quality product with longevity but its panel, speakers damaged with in 2 to 3 years. For this i am a big sufferer and going through mental headache and harassment since 2 months. Addition to this at last i am given a small screen size tv which is below par the market price of the product i purchased 3 years back. The current 40' model issued to me is around 15000.00 rupees cheaper than the product klv42ex410 which i bought 4 years back.
                          I request you kindly to escalate this matter with the designated authorities and replace me with same 42' inch led or 43' led tv at least with similar features as soon as possible. As iam not finding any other way i will highlight this issue in social media and other forums, if it is not resolved.

                            Ub: purchase of sony laptop from croma through online - now repaired - sony service centre not accepting warrenty - need clarification - reg.

                            As per the invoice no. Sle004ec0007002 dated 30.8.2015 of croma, mumbai, throuh online mode i purchased one sony laptop with following specification

                            Sony vaio svf15318/b 39 cm,

                            I got the warranty card for one year from the date of purchase along with the invoice.

                            Now there is some problem with laptop. So i gave it to the authorized sony dealer at coimbatore, tamil nadu. After verification in the system they told that it is not covered under warranty.

                                I had given my mobile at youtr service centre udupi, karntaka (Sony care, near amantran hotel) and its been a long 25 days and still my mobile is not get repaired. When they took my complaint they told me it may take jus 1 day and then i got cal from service centre saying it may take 10 days more. After 10 days when called to sony care udupi they told its almost ready we wil cal back you in evening.. When i reached there they told me it may took 2 days more.. And finally after 2 days went there and they say again that part of this mobile is not with us it may took some more days.
                                Please tel me i did a mistake by switching to sony mobile? Or is it your way of customer service?
                                The responsible persons in your service centre are talking with us like an accused.. I feel really sad and ashamed for buying sony..
                                I hope this complaint may reach you and you do us the needfull asap.

                                  Subject: Service of BRAVIA Television Model: KLV-32R412C IN5, Serial No.: 4692750, Purchased on 12th November 2015.

                                  1. This is further to my email sent to you on 12.05.2016 at 11:17 pm, but for no response at all till date, like my previous letters and many reminders to Ms. Nilima Dharve and even her promise to talk to me, but for no response from her till date.

                                  2. This clearly shows that the SONY INDIA management has many GREAT RASCALS and SCOUNDRELS of your variety including Ms. Nilima Dharve and others.

                                  3. As you completely stopped responding to my repeated complaint seeking appropriate redressal of my grievances by providing me fresh warranty from the date of your service to be provided to me (i.e. from today); having no other option, I had to finally allow your local service centre to change the mother board of my TV, which is done today.

                                  4. Please note that even your engineer who visited at my residence today has clearly admitted the fact that the said mother-board was already faulty prior to the delivery of the said TV to me, and he further said that I was lucky enough that the said fault has been noticed by me at early stage and well within the warranty period itself, as the company never entertains any customer after the expiry of the warranty period even if the problem might be persisting from earlier.

                                  5. From this, it would be clear that the company has indeed no just reason, justifiable or otherwise, for not providing me the fresh warranty of entire one year from today (i.e., from the date of change of the said faulty mother-board and service of the said TV).

                                  6. Please note that the company (Sony India) has now became a quite defamed company in India, and many complaints have been filed by many consumers from different corners of the country which are well published on the internet and other social media. I am really surprise to see that almost similar problems have been faced by many others too, as I have faced recently, still the RASCALS of this company do not appear bending even a little bit and changing their usual shoddy conduct, as they are only after selling their shoddy product somehow at quite higher prises, but not at all concerned for the rapidly falling reputation and earning a quite bad reputation for the company.

                                  7. However, absolutely as a last chance, I hereby call upon you to provide me fresh warranty of entire one year from today on the said faulty TV that has been sold to me by you through your local agent M/s. Vijay Sales of Mumbai, under the false and dishonest representations, and in addition, please also arrange to pay me a sum of Rs. 10, 00, 000/- (Rupees Ten Lakhs) for causing immense hardships, harassments, difficulties, torture, pains and sufferings to me for no fault of mine. You are requested to comply with the above requisites strictly within a week from receipt hereof, failing which I may be constrained to file necessary legal proceedings against all of you before the appropriate authority or forum, obviously on your risks as to all cost and consequences, which please note.

                                    I have bought sony bravia 32' model no - klv32ex300 in 2011. Recently while shifting of our house i guess some damage was happened to my tv. White shadow spots are appearing on the tv screen. Same was informed to the sony service center near by, one of the service guy came to repair it and seen the tv for 1 min and told it will take around[protected]. He didn't told what was the problem and just told he would change the panel. What kind of service was it. I don't even understand. I have to spend almost half the cost of tv to repair it within 5 years of purchase. First of all i've bought sony tv considering as the best branded tv among all even though price is a bit higher, confident about quality and good customer service. Now i've completely lost faith in sony products. I would be thankful if i can get any good justified response from sony customer care.

                                      Am n. Sivakumar from neyveli township... Bought a tv on may2013... Sony bravia 40 inch led... On march 2016 i gave a complaint for non working... Executives attended the complaint and said that its defected pic tube but the same model is stopped production and also added that if 14500rs is paid (Amt equivalent to the picture tube) then they will replace the old with the new one... A dd has been taken and given in pudhucherry sony centre... Since then 3 to 4 calls have been received from the centre stating the new model number but since i could not understand the model number clearly. They confirmed the model thru mobile phone... When the new one arrives i am convicted not to accept any inferior model or a superior one... Replaced model should be equivalent to the old one... Pls look into the issue immediatly and solve as soon as possible...

                                        I've purchased sony z3+ phone with imei no: [protected] on 17th nov 2015, it's waterproof as sony claimed & the reason i've purchased the phone... After using it for just 2 month one day i was seeing if the phone is good or not. So i put it in fresh water not totally just keep the phone upside down and deeped in water but kept the micro usb port up in air and less then 5 min..
                                        Then within 15 min my touchpad was not working i don't know why.. So i was unable to restart.. Then i went for restart key inside rubber port and when i open it up water was inside... Then i knew that this is manufacturing defect and because water didn't went from rubber port but from somewhere else... I went to sony from whr i purchased and they told me to go to sony service center but it was late around 7:pm. Then i went next day.. Till then my phone was working fine when i restart it next day but my both front and back camera got water inside...
                                        The next day on 2nd feb 2016, i give the phone to sony authorized service center (Parshwa electronics private) in surat on 2-2-2016.. And they told me company will check my phone for waterproof test & see if the manufacture defect is there or not then sony will consider my phone in warranty.. And as i was sure it was manufacturing defect, i got it back repaired in warranty on around 22 feb 2016... But when i receive the phone it's back cover was not properly fitted.. And i show that to person in service center. He told me the person for checking the waterproof phone didn't came today so come back tomorrow and show him.. Then i went on[protected] not the next day because i didn't get the time next day... Then on 24 feb i went to sony service center again and showed that to the guy and he told to give back again for repair.. And i did.. Then again i receive my z3+ phone on 7 march 2016 and checked it.. But again the back cover was same not fitted well. Sony gave me the phone after 15days with same condition as before, they didn't do anything and again wasted my 15 days in process.
                                        Then on that same day on 7th march 2016 i asked sony service center either give me my money back or replace my phone if they can't repair the phone in more then 1 month. And they told me they can't do anything, i've to write a mail to sony regarding phone replacement. As i did write mail to sony service head and after 2 days i got auto reply from sony service head. So again i went to sony world showroom and they told me to submit the phone again in sony service center and i did submit the phone on 9th march 2016 but as company suggested i submit the phone in authorized service center m/s. Accel frontline ltd. Surat. And then again no news for another 15 days and finally i got call on 21th march 2106 from accel frontline ltd saying sony again send the phone as same as before without any repair. Then the manager at accel frontline ltd called to sony service center in ahmadabad and send the phone again for repair and told me that he will talk to manger in ahmadabad and get my phone repair in max 5 days.
                                        But as turned out i got my phone back on 1st april. And my phone back cover problem looked repair. And just after using not more then 5-6 days i noticed my phone's back cover is again open but till then i was out off gujarat and being in another state i didn't submit the phone to service center as i know ""sony took 2 months to repair my phone after the 1st time i've submitted the phone on 2nd feb 2016""and now i did't know how much time sony will take again to give me back my phone again. So i made choice to submit the phone in sony service center after i'll be back in surat.
                                        So when i came to surat i've again submitted my phone in authorized service centre m/s. Accel frontline ltd. Surat on 30th april 2016 & also write an email to sony service head, sony care. And i got auto reply from sony care on same day[protected] and another reply on 2nd may 216 without any solution. Then again waiting & waiting for reply, i went to sony world and told them my problem and they wrote the mail to company (Image (7th may 2016) and finally i got the mail from amit doshi saying" they have offered refeb dpa phone to me""which i did't ask for after being in soo much trouble.

                                        Now the thing is i've been without my phone for more then 2&half months and have face counter-less problem and went through sooo much trouble for going and coming back from sony world to sony service center. And the way they have treated me without any reply for more then 2 months. And for last months i've been calling & calling sony service center number and even for 2-3 days they have just hang me on line without any answer or promising calling me back but didn't got call. Even one day i called for like 5-6 hours (Every 1 hour) as in my 1st call service manager told me some excuse on server hub problem for getting my phone status & told me call after 20-25min to check on status then i called after 45 min and manager not available as they told me and said" he will pass my no. To manager and he will call me back in 20-25 min but he did't. This went on for 5-6 hours that day but the manager did't have guts to reply me back or come to the phone.

                                        What i'm asking is ""is this the way to treat an customer?"" i'v spend around 40000rs on this phone. And this what i'm getting. 2&half month without my phone (As you can guess what what trouble i've been through). And as it turned out i should be filling customer harassment case in court for the trouble sony service center put me through.

                                        I told sony service center in mail to service head that either give me my money back or i want the new phone but i'm not taking refurbished phone. And if they can't give me new phone or money then i want 3 months extra warranty as i've been through hell for last 3 months and i didn't spend around 40000rs just to suffer by sony service for without my phone for 2&half months. (If i could do something then i would take all the manger and service head's mobile phone for 2 month and have then be without phone then they will know what trouble i've been through.

                                        And again i submitted my sony z3+ for same problem 4th time here is service i'd no: [protected] on 30th april 2016 to till today.

                                        So you tell me why should i take refurbished phone. As i said to company i want my money back or new phone and i'll only take refurbished phone if they give me 3 months extra warranty for the trouble i went through.
