Dated: 10/12/2015 Complaint Filed: 8/10/2015 Service Centre : Lucknow I have bought sony headphones Sony MDR-ZX310APL (Rs. 2190/-) from lucknow and the bad thing happened after 11 months my headphones' one side stopped working even worse thing happened was they were under warranty. I had no idea i will be facing much more trouble with warranty. Since 3 months I have been listening a lot of mistakes, lies and poor unsatisfactory response from service centre, customer care and even senior executives. I have been waiting for replacement. Replacements did arrived but of different model number (service centre mistake). Then from NOV, 2015 onward i called them for refund status and they responded me with an offer of buying comparatively cheaper headphones and will refund me the remaining amount because they product is no longer in stock and discontinued. SO i declined the offer and they said the refund of the product will be made.They collected my ID and told me it would take 10 days for approval and refund. After no response from the service centre after 15 days i called back and they presented me with a new offer that i can exchange my old product with new (MDR- 450XB) and better model. they promised me a refund but new offer was made. Since then I have been waiting coz i declined the offer. During this waiting period I called on toll free no. and there was a lot inconsistency regarding product status. Customer care is poor, and they don't know anything other then a, "please wait patiently sir " response some were ready with bitter response and accusing me over on phone and they would disconnect call out of frustration. They don't know how many months or days it may take and until then I can just sit and wait and they can't help me. I had words with service area incharge and other senior officials but no one would reply with something satisfactory all they have been doing is tackling with lies and false promises of call back from there end. i got my check after 130 days. but poor service poor staff attitude no customer satisfaction . I have to go to service center a lot of times they didn't call me and it was a poor experience just for a headphone replacement. i would suggest to not buy any product again and make a difference

      Hi, I have Sony Bravia KLV-32V550A, from last 2 weeks I have been trying to search for a base stand for my TV and have got no support from any of the service center or Sony Center. MUKHERJEE ROAD KOLKATA - 700026 T:[protected]/40159525 SONY SERVICE CENTRE 32 HAZRA ROAD MANUJA TOWERS (GND FLOOR) KOLKATA - 700029 T:[protected]/44 TEKNOPLAZA CD 96 SALT LAKE CITY KOLKATA - 700064 T:[protected]/64170235 They have mentioned Sony doesnot provide any TV stand. If i want I can go to a local store. If I have lost they cannot help me. I had purchased a Sony TV just because of the brand and hoped to get support. For a simple thing like a TV stand the service centers have no knowledge. To this the Service Center has replied: Dear Mr. Salil Yagnick, Greetings from Sony India.           I have purchased Sony experia Z1 (IMEI no. [protected]) on April 14th 2015 from amazon.in
          Now I am getting problem in display brightness. On visiting Sony service centre, they are rejecting warranty stating water damage. It is complete duping of customer as Sony claims it to be water proof phone and nowhere water damage clause is mentioned.
          Herewith I want to file a complaint against Sony for deficient service, misleading advertisement and cheating.

            Hello sir, i had purchased Sony xperia z2 mobile on March 2nd 2015, within few months i faced some problem in my camera so i gave it to the Sony care center on 9th Oct 2015 and i got it back on 13th Oct 2015. But within few weeks again i faced a problem in my MIC and heating so again i gave it to Sony care center on 29th Oct 2015 and after few days they called me in care center on 2nd Nov 2015 to hand over my Z2 mobile but the problem has not been resolved, so i have to re-submitted to them on the same day itself. On 23rd Nov they texted me that my mobile problem has been resolved so i went to pick up my Z2 but still problem was there so i resubmitted it again. Till now they didn't solve the issues. It's been almost a month my mobile is in Sony care center. My parents are yelling at me because of this situation so please help me. I want my mobile back in proper condition or else give my mobile money back or else handover me a new Z2 mobile. I have all the Invoice and message as a proof so please help me.               Sir I had purchased a Sony bravia lcd . after some time the tv started to reboot when we tried to switch off from remote. The problem was reported to the sales team where the purchase was made. But he straight away told he was helpless. Next took to the authorised service centre at hubli. He kept the tv for one week and returned . The tv worked fine for one week or so .The problem recovered . The serviceperson told me that there is problem with voltage board and to replace it will cost 6000.00 Ok now my question is the cost which i have already incurred (it is around 800.00 rupees) has to first refunds as the service obligation is not completed. The person who was heading the centrehas left .now we have a diff person heading . How long will this continue . The continuity is broken. The present person who is heading the centre is not approving the work done by his predecessor. This is what I am trying to explain. Next if this person leaves a new person will come and again the sufferer is the customer like us whete the company nor the service people do care. This is happened and happening. And nobody is speaking orgiving a thought to this aspect. Don't u understand that when there is a change of service persons the people or the customers should not suffer. Don't you people sitting in AC offices think about these things. Do you think for customers money is growing on trees. It is your responsible now to see what will be done about 1 the nonfullfilment of service obligation. 2 The amount taken in the name of service (service not fulfilled) The amount has to be returned. The tv has to be replaced with a new one. And fine imposed on the company for misleading about its products tall claim.

                I brought a led from Usha Emporium hapur U. P. It had some problem with it's card. It was removed from ur service center on[protected].and after 11days they are not able to say when it will be changed. This thing is very regretful with the name of Sony India. So please let me know how much time it will take bcoz person here is very irresponsible

                  Dear Sir/Madam, 1. My Job sheet no-W[protected]. 2. My Job sheet no-W[protected]. I bought a Sony Z3 on 19th Nov 2014 in poorvika mobiles in phoenix market city velacherry, Chennai-42. Within one year (warranty period) I went to service nearly two to three times for the same problem. Till now I am facing the same problems are 1.) While opening a camera error stating that –camera will turn off temporarily cool down 2.) Over heating 3.) Because of that overheating my right side display also facing an issue. On 7th April 2015 I reported to sony authorized service center Chennai, abirami plaza, west tambaram -45. While enquiring the status of my mobile the intimated that, the mother board has some problem. After one week, while issuing the mobile they dint change the mother board. Then I bought the mobile from the service center it worked properly nearly six months. Again I am facing the same problem then I went to service center they asked to change the mother board and it will cost 15000rs now my warranty period also over how could I spend again 15000rs for same mobile?? Regarding this problem, I already sent the mail to [protected]@ap.sony.com on april 24, 2015 till now I dint got any response from your service head.

                    Hello We bought a sony lcd from jumbo store lucknow on[protected]. One fine day there was some problem with the appearance / display - it was pink, green, yellow which gets ok in an hour or so My wife registered a complaint at the local sony service center - at nishatganj lucknow on the number[protected] on dec 04th 2015 and registered a request for a visit by a technician. The lady attending the call said that she will raise a request and a technician would visit within 24 hours. The technician came on dec 06th, 2015. He walked in and just with the view of the lcd said that the front panel is defective and has to be replaced. On asking for the quotation for the replacement panel said that will call back after checking. I received a call today on dec 07, 2015 stating that the panel would cost 18000 approx. My question is that how can a panel have a problem within 3-3.5 years of purchase. On checking with the visiting technician also, he said that he has never seen such an issue in lcd within such a short span. Firstly, i should spend 50000 for its purchase than 18000 again after 3 years on its re[pair... What are the people in quality department of the company doing... This is what a brand like sony is delivering. Attached is the slip for the amt paid to the technician for his visit with the details of the problem and purchase receipt of the lcd. Would request you to please help in the subject matter if possible. We are a nuclear family and both of are working, we hardly get time to watch television thus the usage also is not much.                       After my warranty period expiry of the lcd tv has started to reboot. The same was serviced with their auth service centre . But the problem started to reoccur within one week The service centre told that the part to be changed costs 6000. Now I want to complain through you that the sony service centres are not competent enough to solve consumers problem or they r taking advantage of the ignorance of our indian people . Please advice what steps to be taken to solve my rebooting problem of sony bravia

                        Service management in regard to the service of your HOME THEATER Model: DAV-DZ350//CE12 bearing Sr.no : 6102043. It has been multiple emails shared to customer care. Still there has been no particular revert on requisition of revise Service cost of repairs for SOny DVD player. In request for same i have made multiple email requests and also been constantly calling almost after every 48 hours. Still there is no revert from them. It is strange that such huge brand boast about customer service and there is not even a revert from Senior Manager Customer Care Mr. Ashish who had last confirmed on same. To make it precise lets quantify the same. 1) Service complaint done 02nd November - Till date open 2) No. of calls done to customer care - 15 calls --- Constant revert complaint and query taken will revert in next 48 hours. 3) Customer Care manager call revert -- still awaiting - 5 days. Is it that an ardent customer who has been using SONY PRODUCTS since last 2 decades has been asking for a revised Repair cost of service is treated unanswered. Really shameful of such a huge brand. Forcing customer to move to other BRAND.

                          I had purchased a 40" LED model No. Sony-KLV-40R452A, & Serial No. 4325381 from M/s Reliance Retail India Limited, Great India Place Mall, Sector-38A, NOIDA-201301 (UP) on[protected] vide their Invoice No. [protected]. There was one year warranty on this product as per terms & conditions of Sony company. I had also purchased Bravi Two years Extended Warranty from Sony company by making payment of Rs.5000/- on 27/01/2014. In this regard, it is informed that the above mentioned product has not been working properly from the date of its purchase and giving us trouble after every 5 to 6 months of its repair. The details of repair done by your service centre in NOIDA is as under: S No. Date Sony authorized Service Centre Remarks 1 9/11/2013 M/s Jay Pee Electronics, C-54, Sec-2, NOIDA(UP) Repair was done to its main board 2 17/01/2015 ---do--- Main cabinet was repaired 3 9/7/2015 ---do--- Some repair work was done for two days 4 4/12/2015 ---do--- The product is under repair with your centre & which will remain for a week as per service centre. As the main cabinet/ motherboard of above mentioned product was repaired by Sony service centre on17/01/2015 & after that it has not been working properly and requires repair work after every 5-6 months. It is appeared from the above mentioned table/ details that the product supplied to me was defective from the date of its installation as its main cabinet was repaired within short period of its purchase. Since the product is under extended warrant period, therefore, your service centre is keeping it alive during this period and after that this product will not work without spending a huge amount for its repair. The above mentioned product was purchased by me in the name of “SONY” and now I feel that the name of “Sony” is big but product is of inferior quality, which is not at par with the same product of other companies. I had purchased this product by spending my hard money after my retirement from services on 30/09/2012, it is, therefore, requested that the above mentioned Sony LED may be replaced with new LED for the sake of name of 'Sony”.                           Service Centre of Sony India in NOIDA (UP) has picked up my Sony Bravia LED on 09/12/2015 after great persuasion with Customer Care Department of Sony India and Service Centre, NOIDA. Whereas, I had lodged my complaint on 4/12/2015 and LED was picked on 9/12/2015 i.e. on sixth day of my lodging complaint with the company.

                          The company has also not given me any assurance for replacement of of my above mentioned defective product with new one. This product is giving me trouble since the date of it was purchased.

                            I have purchased Sony LEDKLV 32R402A on 6th April 2014 vide Invoice no 253. on April 2015 end month TV was not working due to Mother board to be repair. finally Service centre replaced the same. Again Same problem i.e. M. Board has damage. As per above issue, my TV should replace or Replace the M. Board urgently. I think you are selling damage TV.

                              Seems that sony has compromised with quality and nt bother for brand name anymore. Having issues with bravia ex model purchased in 2010-11 and has bubblss on the screen. Service team given the estimate of 11k which is 33% of the purchase price. Also. Not heard anything from sony india for my email sent .carelessness and cust. Dissatisfaction is the new motto of sony I guess.

                                    Hello sir, This is Arpita Patidar, from kota rajasthan, and my complaint is against the company sony india. 1 year ago i purchased a phone '' sony xperia z1" and the cost of the mobile phone at that time was 37000Rs. Within a year o[censored]se the phone started troubling me, phone gets hang heats up very quickly, battery drains very fast, and what not. I went to the service center to get my phone repaired but at sony service center they asked me to pay a huge amount of 9000Rs to repair my phone, for which I denied. My complain is that if a company like sony is launching a product in market worthing 37000Rs we the buyers of the product expect that the product must work properly atleast for a time span of 2-3 years. Its a request to your team to please have a look at my complaint and suggest whatever solution possible. Thank you

                                      I purchased an SONY Bravia TV for which the warranty expired on September'15 and from the month of November we are facing some issue in its picture quality. Once we raise the complaint their representative came and checked and said it will cost 11k if we want to fix it (charged Rs172/- also). Later on that day we received a call from their customer service dept. asking to come down to their office with the original docs.(bill, warranty paper) and said we will try to get this done free of cost as only 2 month has passed in the expiry date.(Warranty expired on Sep’15) Reaching on their provided address I found that the office has been shifted to a different location (diff. from the location provided on their bill) and upon reaching there, their front office executive has directly denied to address our concern and said it is not at all possible to give free service now with a very Rough Tone.(This is to inform you that the service provider only called us to their office saying that they will check the docs and try for the free of service). When I asked that I want to meet your manager; the answer was he is very busy and can’t meet anyone now as well as they were not ready to give me a time or day when should I meet this busiest person. How the Sony TV suddenly get into some issue exactly once the warranty period gets over? (Also same issue faced by one of my known person) What kind of Brand valuation this brand has in the market when it does not listen to their customers even. It is just 1 and half months passed from the warranty period and denying to give the service.Will this behaviors lead me or shall I advice anyone to go for this brand in future. I would like to file a case so that it can be escalated to their officials who promise to provide customer friendly service which is actually providing HARASSMENT to the customers. Why the after sale service person are so much arrogant on their approach? Is it a customer driven or seller driven market?

                                        Sit I had purchased a sony bravia 26 inches from a dealer at dharwad karnatak. After the expiry of warranty the tv started to reboot whenever tried to switched off from remote. After sending it for servicing the tv worked fine for 2 weeks or so. The probl reoccured. The service guy then says that the power supply is a problem and has to be replaced. The cost would be around 6000 rupees. I tried to contact sony india on toll free no. But they were and are not reachable even now. My constant Mail to their id Sonycare centre was not fruitful. Then I started to search on websites about the Rebooting issue globally. O also sent n no of tweets to sony care. Then one day last month the sony authorised dealer contacted me and says that the minimum service charges for the tv would be 5000 (five thousand minimum.). Now how is that the service engineer announcing the amount without looking at the tv. Now he wants to look at my tv. I am not inclined to take my tvyo his service centre. Since the tv has to be first inspected and then he canals his comments. Also the person at the service centre is a different one. I have explained the problem to him. He immediately says that te cost of servicing would be around 6000 rupees. Now what my fault here . Is it because I went to a authorised centre that these sony people r harrasing. Pleas treat this as a complaint and i pray for justice from u
