Hello sir, This is Arpita Patidar, from kota rajasthan, and my complaint is against the company sony india. 1 year ago i purchased a phone '' sony xperia z1" and the cost of the mobile phone at that time was 37000Rs. Within a year o[censored]se the phone started troubling me, phone gets hang heats up very quickly, battery drains very fast, and what not. I went to the service center to get my phone repaired but at sony service center they asked me to pay a huge amount of 9000Rs to repair my phone, for which I denied. My complain is that if a company like sony is launching a product in market worthing 37000Rs we the buyers of the product expect that the product must work properly atleast for a time span of 2-3 years. Its a request to your team to please have a look at my complaint and suggest whatever solution possible. Thank you

    I purchased an SONY Bravia TV for which the warranty expired on September'15 and from the month of November we are facing some issue in its picture quality. Once we raise the complaint their representative came and checked and said it will cost 11k if we want to fix it (charged Rs172/- also). Later on that day we received a call from their customer service dept. asking to come down to their office with the original docs.(bill, warranty paper) and said we will try to get this done free of cost as only 2 month has passed in the expiry date.(Warranty expired on Sep’15) Reaching on their provided address I found that the office has been shifted to a different location (diff. from the location provided on their bill) and upon reaching there, their front office executive has directly denied to address our concern and said it is not at all possible to give free service now with a very Rough Tone.(This is to inform you that the service provider only called us to their office saying that they will check the docs and try for the free of service). When I asked that I want to meet your manager; the answer was he is very busy and can’t meet anyone now as well as they were not ready to give me a time or day when should I meet this busiest person. How the Sony TV suddenly get into some issue exactly once the warranty period gets over? (Also same issue faced by one of my known person) What kind of Brand valuation this brand has in the market when it does not listen to their customers even. It is just 1 and half months passed from the warranty period and denying to give the service.Will this behaviors lead me or shall I advice anyone to go for this brand in future. I would like to file a case so that it can be escalated to their officials who promise to provide customer friendly service which is actually providing HARASSMENT to the customers. Why the after sale service person are so much arrogant on their approach? Is it a customer driven or seller driven market?

      Sit I had purchased a sony bravia 26 inches from a dealer at dharwad karnatak. After the expiry of warranty the tv started to reboot whenever tried to switched off from remote. After sending it for servicing the tv worked fine for 2 weeks or so. The probl reoccured. The service guy then says that the power supply is a problem and has to be replaced. The cost would be around 6000 rupees. I tried to contact sony india on toll free no. But they were and are not reachable even now. My constant Mail to their id Sonycare centre was not fruitful. Then I started to search on websites about the Rebooting issue globally. O also sent n no of tweets to sony care. Then one day last month the sony authorised dealer contacted me and says that the minimum service charges for the tv would be 5000 (five thousand minimum.). Now how is that the service engineer announcing the amount without looking at the tv. Now he wants to look at my tv. I am not inclined to take my tvyo his service centre. Since the tv has to be first inspected and then he canals his comments. Also the person at the service centre is a different one. I have explained the problem to him. He immediately says that te cost of servicing would be around 6000 rupees. Now what my fault here . Is it because I went to a authorised centre that these sony people r harrasing. Pleas treat this as a complaint and i pray for justice from u

        We complained for repair of our KDL 40" EX 520 TV at Sony Service Centre. We were told that screen is to be repaired. Since we had lost the purchase invoice, we were told that it is not under warranty. We handed over the TV set for repair on 16.11.2015 as per Service Job Sheet of Jolly Electronics World, Sr. No. 3816140 CCC ID 29015875. We were given an estimate of Rs.21, 000/- and they took an advance of Rs.5, 000/- and committed that the repaired set will be handed over to us in 2-3 days. the TV set was installed in the bed room of my parents who are retired senior citizens. Very sorry to state that even after 18 days today, repaired TV has not been handed over to us. Very much dis-satisfied by the approach of your customer care team. I hope an immediate action will be taken on the subject and warranty part will also be looked in our matter. We bought SONY assuming it to be a market leader hoping that we will not have any problem in the set but failure of its screen raises question mark on the quality standards about SONY products.           I submitted my phone for repair on 26 October 2015, as it suddenly died completely. Job sheet number: W[protected], phone Xperia Z3. Service Center name: Ambe Electronics Address: Wave Mall, Sector 18 Noida, 201301 email: [protected]@gmail.com phone:[protected] The service center reps told me that the phone will be fixed and returned to me by 10 or a maximum of 15 days, it has been 30+ days now and they still keep telling me that a part(mother board) is still pending and that there is no E.T.A of when this will be resolved. I believe that is enough information for anyone's understanding that this issue was and is being handled very poorly. I have already tried registering a complaint with both the service center and Sony(on their site), but with no luck at all anywhere. At this point the company's apologies for the inconvenience that this has caused me, are pointless. Because if they were so concerned, then the phone should have been fixed on time in the first place. I request that my phone be completely fixed and returned to me at the earliest, no more fake promises and dates. I would also like Sony to give me an acceptable compensation(not monetary), regarding the inconvenience, mental harassment and loss of business that this incident has caused me and also a written apology from the company, focusing on their poor customer service skills.

            Ony Xperia Z2 Job No W[protected] No service of handset yet, exact answer and whereabout not available after 40 days of advance payment to Kavya Enterprises, Pune. Phone Number [protected]

            Above job no was given on 17 Oct 2015 by Kavya enterprises. It was told that we will get estimate by phone call. On 21 Oct 2015 I got a call to pay advance of 80% of estimation which was 15 k something. I asked for their bank account details but the details given were either wrong or there was some problem with their bank account, so could not make the payment online. I tried calling them again and again on the day but thier phone was continuously busy. Once or twice it was ringing but they did not pick up. 22 Oct 15 was holiday.

            On 23 Oct I went to Kavya Enterprises and I was told that my work order has been closed. I asked the timeframe to close a work order, I was told 3-4 days. It was only 2nd working day or start of 3rd day when I reached to pay them on cash. I was referred to Manager who was not even looking at me, arrogant and showing attitude that he is too busy with his phone. When argued with the manager he said he will take action and continue with the same work order. I was told that within 20-25 days I will get the phone repaired.

            I called up on 15-16 Nov but concerned person was not there and status of my phone was not known. I was promised a call back which never happened. Again I called up around 17-18 Nov (do not remember exact dates) then I was apologized by the lady and she promised me to give my phone by next Friday (i.e. 27 Nov 2015).

            There was nothing from them. I tried many times after 27 Nov. Either their phone is busy or they do not pick up the call after giving ring for long time.

            Luckily, on 1st Dec I could talk to a lady around 6 PM. She was again unable to give any information of the phone. She told that her boss (Sir) is not available in the office. I should call tomorrow. I asked to give a call as their phone is not accessible all the time and whenever I get through concerned person is not available. She should or concerned person should give a call. She was reluctant but later agreed to do so.

            1st Dec itself I was frustrated and started searching/ looking for complaint ID of Sony on internet but saw there was a button to check service status. There I could see that my product has been delivered on 27 Nov 15. It was a great surprise to me.I wrote a mail and made call to customer care but "Product repair is under process" was only the answer even after mentioning all the details. I was told by customer care that according to their system, I had initially denied to get the repair done at estimation and later given phone for repair on 27 Nov 2015 which is totally wrong and a surprise for me. I have the receipt of payment of Rs 13000 dated 23 Oct 15. But there was no logical answer was given and only irrelevant answer was given by customer care guy.

            Unfortunately till 11:30 today (2 Dec 15)I did not get any call from Kavya enterprises, so called them up and after a few tries and cross connections got through. Again same response that Sir is not there in office. It was height of negligence. I fired her and said her to call back. She promised to give me a call back by 12 PM today after confirming from her boss. I have not got any call as of now, It is 2:15 pm. I have no idea what to do. Want help from this forum.

              Dear Sir, I have purchase a LED Sony TV Model No. KLV-22P402B on date[protected] with warranty of 1year from Ambe Traders, Station Road, Maihar, Satna district. The TV which I have purchased was having problem of Display screen showing white which had come in 10days of its purchase only regarding which I have consulted your service centre Satna and Jabalpur district(M.P.). They have repaired the T.V. and returned after 2 months time period and after their return it had worked for 4-5 Months correctly and again the same defect was showing and now when I moved to the Shop and service centre they have given no proper reply and during which the Warranty period also expired. Sir, the piece was defective from the very beginning and now I want proper response from your side for its replacement. Enclosing the Copy of Bills of Purchase, Warranty card and other details.                 Our Sony Bravia 32" LED tv (serial no 2486115) started showing lines on the screen and when we complained about it at Vashi service center, they said the screen may have to be replaced. They promised to provide estimate but never got back until we called repeatedly. After that they took Rs 8, 000/- as advance on21/11/2015 but never replied back. After multiple calls now they are saying it is not in stock. It is disappointing that service center at Vashi rarely returns calls, takes advance for parts that they say is not in the stock and are now not providing the requisite service. The real problem with the center at Vashi is that they do not provide proper response, misguide and waste customer time. We purchased the TV due to strong brand value of Sony but never knew their star product Bravia series has such a short life and their service is so lazy.

                    I want to register a compliant. I bought a SONY HARD DISK DRIVE 1TB for Rs 7, 200 and it is horrible. The product wasn't evengood for a whole month... I lost all my important data due to a manufacturing defect. This is not even the worst case.. Th product had a warranty of 1 year and so i went to a service center hoping to get my HD repaired, but instead they said that the model i've purchased was a failure model and so they replaced the whole set and again unfortunately they gave me the same model again and within three months that piece has gone wrong too... Just one question to the highly reputed SONY company, I[censored] guys know that a product is defective then why on earth would u sell that? And also the customer service was horribleeeeeee we had to go to the service center at least a hundred times and had to wait for what seemed like a decade before getting a decent answer for our queries, forget getting the time it took for the product to be replaced. Now i dunno what am gonna do, for the second time this product has failed and still there is no response from the customer service center. I am not saying that all SONY products are worse, but the customer service is horrible. I need an answer and a proper solution for how can i get my product repaired or replaced or at least just an answer.

                      My mobile phone not working, the display is blank and I gave for service they rectified the problem but after one day same problem arising.in the previous job sheet they mentioned that they changed the parts and updated with software, after one day my mobile phone is not working.I bought my mobile in September 2015, it is just three months from now that I bought the mobile.

                        My handset is replaced twice since mu purchase in sept 2015 and still there is autoshutdown issue. After shutdown phone will switch on only after one connects the power cable. My phone is with the service center (sai service vashi, navi mumbai)since one month now. New handsets are faulty. And since my purchase i m goin for repairs...sony has cheated me with this phone.need a refund.

                            M/S Rajpath services at Bhubaneswar, Odisha is one of the worst service provider neither they have professional people nor spare parts.also there is no time frame when they will return your items. They have the tendency to extract illegal charges. Please beware all my Sony users.

                              Dear sir I bought sony led t.v 24' p412B for the date 26/01/2015, my t.v have not showed the display and registerd complaint on 9/11/2015 complaint register no 28817528, some of the technican came on 13/11/2015 checked, board to be replaced, it take three days, after long call they came on 20/11/2015 and changed the board but not checked the board properly without any T.v display and closed the complaint, and same day i enquired the customer care again the register the complaint complaint no is 29161230 date on 20/11/2015, without attended the complaint the closed the complaint number, again tried the sony consumer care they provide new complaint number on 29248570 on 25/11/2015, till date no one turned off . kindly advice how to move, i have warranty period upto january 2016.                                 I have brought Sony Bravia 46" LED 3D TV 3 yrs back. Since warranty is voided and i am facing a technical defect now, i have logged a complaint to sony India. With the complaint number Sony india committed 48hrs to fix defect with the charges linked with service, and i have agreed the same. Even after a week with multiple call from my end, I have not received the response.                                   I have launched a complain regarding my LCD on toll-free no .They have given the request id29062734 &send their engineer to my home.engineer checked and finally told that 3500 to 4500 will be costing.After that we have paid the visit charges and handed over the LCD to service centre.After two days surprisingly they told over the phone that the cost will be around 8500.These service centre is doing the very important work of looting the costumer.I have not brought back my LCD from service centre now U want the justice.who has given the freedom to them for cheating with the customer.

                                    I recently bought a Sony MDR earphones from amazon. It was functioning fine till a few days back. Then, I took my earphones to an authorized service center in Goa. They changed the shop location and were arrogant enough to leave it entirely to me to navigate to their new showroom. I somehow landed there and gave my earphones. At first they accepted it and told me this should be replaced. I was fine with that. They took the earphones inside for a few min, and came back after loosening the pin. I know for sure it(the pin) was perfectly fine when i gave it to them. At last they have REFUSED to take it because it's "PHYSICALLY damaged". And were arrogant enough to completely shut on me and not listen to any of my questions. They made that "physical damage" and then refuse to take it because of that.!! I tweeted about this to @sony_india twitter handle and there was no response. I write in the forum expecting some sort of reply from you before i could proceed further dealing with this legally!

                                      Purchased a 7 stage water filter (Aqua grand+ RO+UV) on 14.09.2015 from Sonye Tek Marketing through the authorized dealer Mr. Ravi Kumar M, Sonye Aqua World, #751, 8th Main, Bhuvaneshwarinagar, Hesarghatta Road, T.Dasarahalli, Bangalore-560057. Mobile: [protected]; [protected]. He has promised that there is a free gift "Gas Geyser" along with the purchased filter as festival offer on occasion of Ganesha Chaturdasi. On 15th Sept'15 the filter was delivered without the assured free gift. After installation, we found that it was a defective piece. After informing so many times to Mr. Ravi, he has sent the service person, who also confirmed the same I.e its a defective piece. From that day onwards I am relentlessly following it up with Mr. Ravi Kumar but there is response from him. After few days he didn't attend my calls. Then went personally to the shop where I purchased it. He started giving false commitments that tomorrow I will replace it, after 2 days without fail I will deliver both items, like that. But now he is completely ignoring me. Please suggest what to do.
