I have Sony Xperia Z-Ultra phone. It's screen is broken and not working now. It's in warranty period. I inquired at sony service center, vadodara. They asked me that the phone is not repairable and I'll get 50% of discount on new purchase. My complaint is 50% is very less. At least it should be 80-90%. Please do me favor and give me 80-90% of discount. Otherwise I'll go to consumer court & CNBC Aawaz. Thank You... |

    My Sony Home theatre has stopped booting a month ago, Post, i called up the technical support and asked for assistance. The Technical SUPPORT team took my machine to the service center and one day later shoots me an estimate of 7000 INR for the replacement of the main board. I denied to pay the amount, as i am pretty much aware that the main board is responding properly without any issues only the disk tray unit has some mechanical malfunction. When i told the same to their leads and Managers, they are now putting lame excuses and not returning my product. Several emails, calls been made and end number of times i have requested them to return my product but they keep sayings its been sent to some other service center. I need some legal help...       Hi, We have bought a Bravia LCD TV, initially it was fine but now we are seeing a problem with screen, it looks like screen got baubles and TV became useless. Our relatives TV also facing same problem. This looks like more of manufacturing defect. We are always buying/using Sony products and now with this kind of defect we are not really happy. Kindly address this problem as soon as possible.

        I have submitted my set Xperia sp in the service centre on 23rd august 2014 and got it back on 30th august in dead condition and told me that mother board is damaged and when I enquired at the Sony toll free no. Then they told me that the Sony service centre has not issued me any ticket no. They were working on my cell against the norms of the company and now when set is completely dead they are calling me to come and take the ticket no. and I have informed to the Sony India care but not got the correct reply from their side too. I Think so that they are just consuming time nothing else so that customer get tired and stop mailing them i am facing a problem. My service request no. is 20703707 and when i mail i use to get new-new service request no. last request no. which was issued to me was 20744921 whereas my work is suffering. On[protected] when i submitted my cell its display was damaged they told me on[protected] monday that the bill will be of Rs.3140 i asked them to repair it and when i got to receive my cell they told might be software problem i said check it they give me the next day time i gone to receive my cell then mr. rajeev was in lucknow in meeting and employee ask me about the ticket no. which was not issued to me when mr. rajeev came back from lucknow i asked him the receiving he told me that they will final the set in 2 hours and when i called to ask the condition now they told me that the mother board is damage i asked them to return my set and taken it back from them then i enquired from the sony about my set they told me that no. ticket no. was issued that means they were working on my cell without any ticket no. which shows that it was against norms of the company and then i draft a mail to sony on the saturday itself which was on[protected] but till now i.e. on[protected] there is no proper response from the side of sony and now mr. rajeev service centre employee is asking me to come and he will open the job sheet but now i don't want it because after keeping the cell for one week and damaging it completely why should i go to service centre this is of no use when the cell was under warranty they were doing everything properly but when the cell is out of warranty why they have worked against the norms. seriously that means something wrong was done and continously i am asking about the procedure but no one is responding me properly this is a case of ignorance also.After keeping patience now i would like to claim for cash back or issue me a cell of approx rs. 24000 because my set was worth rs. 23, 800 as a proof i am attaching the image of my set bill. please look after it as soon as possible beacuse it is killing my time whereas i am facing problem without a cell. service centre is in kanpur in swaroop nagar with the name of jhansi electricals Thank you Ankit Vinay

          sir, I am Antony roy I given a Sony water proof walkman model Nwz-w273/wme1under replacemet warranty they delivered me a product with a different color after a delay of around 2 months. I did not collect the product and asked for the same colr . now it has been more than 3 months they are not delivering the product i gave the product in the edappally Sony service centre, ernakulam, on[protected] with job no.j41117886, kindly do what is necessary.

            Dear Sony Representative, The words that I am going to pen here are aimed to make you aware of the worst product quality and after sales service that you are delivering to the consumers. I am sorry to say but the product provided by you is not up to the mark and require immediate attention of the senior staff. I would like to lodge a complaint regarding the mobile handset Sony Xperia M2 Dual (IMEI- [protected]) purchased by me on 09.08.2014 from Cellular Point, Rajkot, Gujarat. I was facing severe issue of losing network coverage on SIM Slot-1 from the very next day I bought it. The issue was of “off and on” type and time and again I observed that phone loses the RF signal on Sim slot-1. I had made all the permutations and combinations those would require to eliminate the doubt on coverage and/or operator by interchanging SIM cards of many operators. Still there was change in the scenario. Then I contacted authorized service centre of Sony India on 25.08.2014, viz. Dhvani Sales and Service at Rajkot for the issue. They admitted the issue even by self-test and asked me to lodge complaint on toll free no. I was given the ticket ID [protected] for the same and at that time I had noticeably asked your representative to generate the replacement order for my phone as it was only 14th day to which I made the purchase to which he accepted and took my complaint, you may also check the recording for your confirmation. I was also informed up to the extent that I will get only mobile handset replacement new, without accessories being of old one and asked to contact in a week. Now yesterday when I contacted the service centre, I was shockingly informed that they haven’t been instructed by the company to replace the phone but they had installed new software to overcome the issue. WHAT MORE WORST CAN BE EXPECTED from any company than this as once I have been confirmed regarding replacing the handset with fresh piece, company tries to make me fool by playing such unethical & cheap tricks!!! . Why company is playing such dual standards to me? I reiterate the thing that only 14 days has passed and you people are denying to replace the phone by giving excuse of software re-installation which is totally humbug. I had a vast experience o[censored]sing smartphones and had used all top-notch companies’ phones, but this has been most awful experience I had ever been with. I feel regret to tell you that SONY only believes in selling the product, after sales service is so pathetic of yours. It would be better if you change your logo in promotions that is “MAKE.BELEIVE”, whom to believe?? Tell me. I can’t understand the policy or mentality of your company behind the logic of resisting replacing me my phone in spite of knowing the truth behind that M2 dual is having genuine problem in such short duration of purchasing, instead making joke of consumers by giving them excuse of software upgrade. I demand serious intervention of higher officers on the poor services provided by your organization and demand a reason for such an unethical approach in the service industry. I want a prompt action to look after the matter. At last, when I had a talk with one of companies Sr Executive Mr Mohammad Amir, he requested to call me back on Thursday for further discussion.                     Hi Sony Support, First of all I would like to notify that I am very disappointed with the service provided by your authorized service centre. I hope you will take necessary action on my complaints mentioned below: I purchased SONY Xperia M2 on 29-June After couple of months of purchasing a brand new handset from CROMA (Kharghar Navi Mumbai) I noticed some defect in screen display that is a blac spot appears on the screen. I approached to DG Mobile Service Panvel on 28 Aug, they promised to repair the handset and gave estimate time 27 Aug. Now its 1 Sept and when call them they are not responding properly. They asked to check the customer care and when I checked customer care they are also giving just another date. Is this kind of service SONY do provide to the customer? If this is the case then I will suggest all buddy's not to buy SONY product. Can you take my concern to high management and act as soon as possible.                       I had purchased a Sony Bravia TV Model: EX 300 (32 INCH) from the Chetpet Sony Centre in Chennai in 2010. Suddenly, for the last one week we are noticing scratches/lines appearing on our TV Screen, which causes severe strain & disrupts the quality of the picture. Kindly request the Concerned authority to take necessary actions & to send in the Sony service engineer to rectify this Manufacturing defect immediately. All these years I had believed in Sony Products for their quality but now this has happened with in 4 years time. Would Request immediate Action from Sony.

                        Sir, This is to inform you that i, Chahat Sethi, own a Sony Xperia Z1 that I purchased 15 days earlier on 16/08/14 and it is a shame that only 6 days after its purchase the phone stopped working correctly.There was error in the camera that when I clicked a photo from it, the phone used to hang and sometimes the camera screen was black and showed no view. For this I called sony helpdesk and they suggested me to visit sony service centre.As per their suggestion I visited the service center and they told me that my phone will be updated. They updated my phone on 10th day and only 2 days later after update I have been facing the same issue and the condition has only been worse.I even took a service test by myself and the test was unsuccessfull as the screen was black all along the camera test(*#*#7378423#*#*). I would like to add that I am a big fan of Sony and I also own sony xperia SL, Sony Vaio laptop and Sony Cybershot.But this time I am really hurt by the experience of sony's poor service and poor attendence to its customers. I buy such expensive products of sony, blindly relying on sony's quality and service but when I get defected products and you dont even show the dignity to replace it, I would only say that in future I will not purchase a Sony product nor will I recommend it to any of my colleagues working with me or my friends. You are an established brand and if such products would be sold by you, it will be a major setback to your goodwill.If you are not able to replace my phone I request you to take my phone for free because if you (being an MNC) dont have enough strength to bear a loss of 1defected mobile, well, i(a mere employee) have enough strength take a stand and donate it back to your company for free.

                          I hav bought sony xperia T2 on 24 june 2014 from Jasmin showrrom of Vadodara and within two months the display screen in not working properly.. i went to sony service centre and they said that this is not covered in warranty..I am very disappointed and i want a solution from company as this is a big amount for me...i wish u will reply soon... waiting for your reply

                            To whomsoever it may concern, I purchased a sony Xperia Z fone from Venus Electronicson 29-Aug 2013. Immediately after two (2) months i started facing technological problems (software..precisely) since then, my cellular device has been replaced 5 (five) times. But again this time when i went with the same problem to the company service station (name: Sunrise Electronics), and also that my warranty period was coming to an "End" they told me that the phone will not be replaced but rather would be repaired and given back to me. Also the Service station members are not responding properly and not giving me a proper answer, neither are they giving me an explanation regarding the problem in the device and why it will be only repaired and not replaced. I am without my phone for the past 12 days now, as i had submitted my phone on 18-Aug 2014 and haven't received any reply. So I put all my Trust in u and would request you to please take an action or help me resolve this problem immediately.

                              Hi, I am Mukesh i bought Sony Xperia M Dual from Snapdeal and started using it from 1st week of June 14 and from that day onwards i face battery draining issue and later mic issue. I gave Mobile for service at Repairs and Returns Pvt Ltd, Egmore, Chennai. They did phone software update i don't know what kind of foolishness it is they did update for hardware issue. I got the phone on 23 June 14. But problem seems retain battery and mic plus camera. I gave it again on 30 July 14 and received on 20 Aug 14 you can see the gap here but the issue not solved again 3rd time i gave the phone for service in same branch on 22 Aug 14 and asked to wait for response till 1st week of sept. i tried complaining many time in toll free number and spoke with senior person and also mail but got no response. First thing is this is my new mobile used only 45 days and now keeping mobile for service 45 days. Is this the way doing service for the product. They want me to wait again and again. If not possible please ask him for replacement of mobile This is worst of money

                                Flickering issue in vaio laptop against job no.41926635 dated 25/08/2014 not resolved by Jaypee Electronics, the authorised service centre of Sony in Noida, Despite on site warranty available for the product, it was insisted upon me to take out the machine at the centre.No standby laptop provided despite requests. Service Head is also not responding.

                                  I bought sony laptop within a month my charger got damage then LCD then mother board then LCD then bla bla That's problem I am facing last 3 years and now a day I got new problem repair my LCD from sony service centre after 2 3 days it's has horizontal whitest line i have complain this then they said me we change your laptop LCD now they denied that your laptop has physical damage this is new problem they not change my LCD and give my laptop when you give me gatiya product how can I manage this and costumer service also worst they did not replying when they are stuck their problem so pls i request you pls lounge my complain

                                    I purchased Sony Xperia ZL mobile phone during 2013 April. When the warranty was about to end that is by April 2014, my battery started draning faster than normal. I reported this to KG Electronics (Authorized Sony service Centre) Coimbatore. They took it and flashed the OS and returned back saying the issue is resolved. I took it back to them 2 days after saying the complaint is not resolved. But they said few remedies to improve battery performance. I tried it for few days and did notice a a little improvement. But after 3 months of this incident now my mobile will not switch on unless it is plugged into the charger. The mobile works perfectly fine when plugged into the power adapter. I took it back to them and reported this and now they claim its motherboard problem and it cannot be serviced. I can return the old phone to Sony and get a concession for purchasing a new phone from them is what the info given to me by them. If they had resolved the issue properly when it was under warranty I would have been on my way merrily. I paid 37K to Sony mobile and get this kind of response when I can pay less than 15K for a same kind of china/korean model phones and get this response. I would atleast save money. Electronics can go bad any time but the after sales service is what matters.Customers pay more money for this reason. So that Sony will provide us some extensive support isnt it? All I am asking them now is to service the mobile and I will pay the charges that it incurs. I would like to register a complaint on this. Any ideas please.

                                      Hello All, This is the 4th time I have given my xperia Z1 for repair. I am totally fed up with the service... its like out of 7 months, my cell was with sony only for a month. Since first complain i had told them about battery issue but they neve took it seriously i guess. Even now its been a week almost and don't know whats the update of my phone. Is there any way where i can claim for refund because every time i get my cell back i have to put screen guard plus all apps again... this is gonna be 4th time for screen guard and all apps which ofcourse consumes lots of data. Kindly let me know if there is some way to get my money back on this (for Xperia Z1)

                                        I brought Sony Z2 Xperia on 18th May 2012. which also covered Accident Repair Warranty. While buying the phone, they promised that if anything happens to my phone, it will be repaired immediately. My phone broke down and I gave it to Authorized Service Center ( Sonnet Care, Bangalore). Since it was under accidental warranty, they sent it for approval and called me next day that my phone has gone for repair. I will get it back in 15 days. It is already 15 days now and there is no response from them. When I called today, the lady said that she does not have any status because they do not have repair parts for phone available. Besides, the agency does not have a backup phone for me even though they claim that they give a same phone during the period of repair. I am not apprehensive whether they will put any genuine parts on the phone. I am aghast at the response from Sony for a phone which is just few months old. With those claims earlier, they should not have put me through this ordeal and should have given me a new piece altogether immediately. I am feeling so frustrated and regretting my decision of buying Sony Z2 Xperia. Not sure where to go now.
