Dear Sir/Madam, Thank you very much for your prompt action and getting inspected my TV problem by your authorized local service centre M/S. Neosa Electronics(P)Ltd, Haldia on 20.08 2014 (Service Job Sheet No.3253903), against allotted service request ID no. 20508284 dt.18.08.14. This is to inform you that I brought this 32" Sony Bravia, LED TV, Model – KDL 32EX 550 in May 2012 vide Tax Invoice no.BB/CM/00932/12-13 DT.30.05.2012 at Rs.39, 900/= from Great Eastern Appliances Pvt ltd, Kolkata. The same was installed by Mr.Hazra of Neosa Electronics ( P ) Ltd, ( Sony Authorized Service Centre) Haldia in June 2012. It carried a warranty of 12 months from the date of purchase as per warranty card provided by Great Eastern, Kolkata ( attached scan copy) Present age of my TV is two years two months twenty one days. In 26th month itself, my TV, Sony like brand become dysfunctional. First the problem was noticed during world cup football match somewhere in May’14, a single very thin green horizontal color on the top edge. We thought initially that it is due to cable transmission problem and accordingly cable details were checked thoroughly. Cable operator also could not diagnosed any problem in his system and asked me to contact the TV personnel. After some days of operation, the line width become wider and color become combination of black and white at the top.I immediately lodged my request stating the problem online and also through mail communication in June 2014(allotted request ID was.19726942 dt 20.06.2014).During this time due to very critical family problem in my home front, I could not arranged to offer Sony service people’s to inspect the TV problem against the mentioned request ID. So again, I lodged second request in the month of August’2014(allotted request ID was 20508284 dt.18.08.2014). Against this ID request, Mr. Hazra of M/S. Neosa Electronics ( P) Ltd, Haldia visited my House on 20.08.2014 ( ref. service Job sheet no.3253903 enclosed )and inspect the TV problem. As per the verbal communication of Service Engineer the problem is in the display panel and it needs replacement. Please be noted that nothing has been mentioned about the identified problem of the TV set or ASC comments in the mentioned Inspection job sheet after post inspection. Subsequently, Mr. Sharma of M/S. Neosa Electronics called me and told the the system job no.J41866371 and estimated cost of repair for replacement the panel is Rs.14, 200/= Please be noted that while discussing this problem with the shop from where TV was purchased and your local service center, I came to know that this type of problem is taken care by Sony India Pvt Ltd free of cost if had it been informed to Sony India within two years after purchasing TV. Now sir tell me can any customer identify this panel problem just by observing an extra color thin line on edge of top that to sometimes coming and then disappearing, when full picture of the TV is not vanished. And can a customer purchased a TV, whose brand name is SONY, will expect ever this type problem in the newly purchased TV within a span of only two years. Never sir never, that is why customer spend his hard earn money on choosing and purchasing SONY BRAND TV and not other brand TV. But sir, this very important two years warranty information on panel replacement has neither been shared in the warranty card nor informed by your authorized service center during installation & commissioning the system. In the warranty card it is also written “warranty of 1 Yr from the date of purchase and Valid up to June-2013”. So two year completion after purchasing my TV is June’2014. I lodged my request on June 2014 and that is well within two years after purchasing the TV. If two years is the bar limit then I can put my humble request in front of SONY management to consider my appeal and warranty facility should provide to me on Customer Good wheel norms. I have also some queries as given below about your warranty norms and information as not shared by the company, dealer and service centre : a.Sony is provided extended warranty facilities depending on customer requirement and wish. Then why it is not mentioned anywhere in the warranty card. Why the shop or authorized service people did not asked or requested me for availing the facilities during purchase and installation the TV. Warranty card should have the following information as published in your web site. Warranty Information Domestic Warranty Standard Warranty Extended Warranty Limited Warranty on VAIO Accessories b.If some parts of the TV is having two years warranty then why this information has not been mentioned in the warranty card and also not shared either by the shop where TV purchased or by the service center who installed my TV. c.If the above mentioned points would have clearly mentioned or shared with me then during purchasing and installation the TV then I could have taken preventive measures and act promptly towards lodge my request. Also I could have availed the extended warranty facilities. In this case my tension would have been reduced about the performance of the product. d.Sir, would you not think that sales and service department plays a very important role in any industry. Was it not there responsibility to inform and educate the customer every information about warranty facilities along with other tech. information’s, which customer can avail if any problem arise. e.The above incident has created the doubt that whether I have been given already a defective piece or repaired piece by the dealer. You will appreciate that consumers buy SONY product at the higher prices than the other similar product available in the market believing its quality by default. But now it seems that quality of the SONY is also being compromised at the cost of consumer’s faith & cost & if such type of quality problem faced by the consumer, Brand value of Sony will be erode drastically. I am really feeling very disturbed & frustrated about my decision of buying SONY product. I don’t know whether the dealer or the manufacturer is faulty, but ultimately looser is customer who already spend his hard earn money of purchasing a substandard product unknowingly. I would appreciate & request if you, kindly look in to the matter & get the faulty parts replaced with the new one on customer good will warranty keeping the faith alive about the quality products of SONY. I shall look forward to your reply and a resolution to my TV problem and will wait for your positive and favorable solution. KDL-32EX550 display panel has gone, for replacing that Rs.15000 to be spent, it is almost 40% of the total money. sony very bad
Having the same problem, same model. KDL-32EX550, display panel has gone. I found red horizontal lines at the bottom of the TV screen and later it turned out to be purplish display. They are asking me to replace the panel which would cost a whopping 13 K. Never expected this quality from a brand like SONY.
It appears that the quality of this model kdl32ex550 is poor and not up to the mark and standard of sony products. The previous CRT Sony TV lasted over 20 years and there was only one complaint about the SMPS power supply which was duly attended and rectified. It was damaged in transit and Sony was not in a position to repair the unit. Then I opted for the bravia tv paying 36000/-. The red color has vanished and now the world cup is on in Russia. Of course a complaint was lodged, technician duly attended and informed that the panel required to be replaced and the cost would be around 33% of the original cost of the TV. The service centre is yet to come back to me with the protocol to be followed for getting the repair done. To and fro transportation of the TV would cost an additional 590/- if arranged by Sony. Nowadays a brand new android TV can be obtained at the cost of repair, which will carry a 3month warranty only. My fascination for Sony products is diminishing. Are they making products which work properly only for about 5 years?

    I purchase Sony Bravia KLV-32R422B 32 Inches WXGA LED Television recently. I requested sony customer care for installation on 16th till date 24th there is no one came for installation. Worst services from sony. Simply looting customer and not providing services which they are suppose to provide. Mr Girish Sharma (floor manager simply misguiding) on behalf of company.

      Hav Purchased R48B sony bravia 40" on June 2014, On Aug 24th 2014 while we were watching tv on a sudden the display was off but audio was on (screen went black, but audio was going on). Hav complained aganist the same and the ID #[protected].
      It is a great shock to know that SONY a GREAT branded one is just fake off in two months, I hav gone thru the web and have seen many mails regd the abv problem...is the value of SONY BRAND is just washing away...in such a case how is it possible that within a time span of just 2 months my brand new LED display has been affected.
      Is it so any manufacturing problem or SONY is taking customers for granted.

      Hope I get an immediate response on the above, which will giv us a good trust on SONY again.

        I Have purchased SONY LED TV. Model - KDL - 46 EX 520 and SL no - 2439305 in June 2012 from Suriya Kiran Electronics Jwalaheri Delhi and in July 2014 had problem of no Picture coming on Screen, Black Screen, Complaint logged to Service Centre Karampura delhi, Engineer Visited after two days and intimated some parts are to be changed and asked Rs 3000/ after three days came and changed some spare and intimated that The T.V.Need to be sent to Service Centre Karampura Delhi, T.V.Sent to Karampura Delhi, they have told will inform you by evening that when the T.V.will be ready, no information after 3 days when service centre called they will inform with in two days, This is happening from Last one month and we understand that no action has been taken, We have take a Branded T.V for better performance but we are finding that the Sony is Cheating the people and no one is there who will listen, Can any Sony Service dept Senior is having any moral to support their Customer, If any pls provide the support and get the T<V repaired and deliver to us, This is really too bad, If it is continuoued like this we will ask our friendship not to purchase the Sony Products, A.K.Singh,

          Hi, I submitted my Sony Xperia C with job no-w[protected] on 6 Aug 2014. According to Service center my phone was sent for replacement after a 2 step approval from the Head office. As I asked from customer care and service center before 2 days that it is already approved for replacement on 20 Aug 2014. When i am asking today for the status the executive told me that it is pending for parts availability. Why are you waiting for a repairing process when you told me for replacement. Please replace my phone according the accidental warranty terms. I am waiting it from more that 15 days as the time is given expected 15 days. I am losing my patience and money cause of your late service. Please give me my phone asap in a good condition.I can't wait no more. There is no support from customer care with satisfaction. Customer care always ask me to contact service center and service center blames always Head office. What the Hell is this. There is no body to hear the consumer's complaint in a right way. I already sent many mails and queries to concern department. But always i get a mail with a request of co operation. The answers are not relevant. It is too much to experience a well reputed company with a very bad service. In future I never recommend Sony anybody after getting a huge tension and disappointment from your side.

            Hi There, I had bought a Bravia BX300 4 yrs ago and now my screen is getting a wax stuck all over look on it. I had spoken to the dealer who sold this to me and they say there is nothing that they can do(The panel has got spoiled).Since this is a very common problem among the LCD and LED televisions, isnt the company not doing anything to settle/satisfy the customer?? If not, I guess sony is tampering its brand name itself. There a lot of dissatisfied disappointed people out here who have invested their money on sony products. Anand, Kerala

              Dear sir,
              I am Arpit Patel([protected]) and I bought a Sony Xperia SP phone and before 10 months.
              In warranty period some problem generated in camera so I sending for solving that problem but after servicing that problem is not solved and the service center manager are not giving answer. Properly and they also taking the 1 or 2 months time for solving that problem but after they not solving the problem and they not given answer. properly to the costumer. So pleas taking action and provide the batter services to the costumer.

                Job# W[protected] Issue: Sony Xperia Z1 (C6902) charging port issue, phone is not charging. However, data transfer and PC Sync perfectly works through the same port. Phone was submitted at Sony Authorized Service Center on 09-AUG-2014. Yet another poor response from their so called Sony Authorized Service Center, They keep repeating the same words and hangup the phone on me. It's been 14 days and they have not returned my phone brand new phone by fixing a sipmle issue.How long does it take to fix a simple issue? I want a drop dead date of my phone delivery along with time frame in IST. PLEASE HELP ME!

                  Sir, My laptop details and complaint is given below: Product Serial No: 7002862 On site warranty no: 121615 Product Name: vpceh15/b Product code: 27544512 Purchase date: 16th Aug 2011 Complaint No:[protected] The warranty period ends by 15-Aug-2014, given it for service on 13-Aug-2014 at the authorized sony service center, Kottayam, Kerala, India . The complaint job id is J41795194 and the problem was:- 1. Auto shut down of system 2. USB ports not working I had given this only because I need to ensure that the hardware is free from any problem. After one week I got a call from service center and they said All my data will be erased I said ok because I already took the back up and have original Operating system backup disc with me. They call me last day and said I have to pay Rs 600/- for the service. They are saying that they Re-installed the Operating system and need money for that. If the complaint was all about software then my question is Why didn't they tell me it before for I would have done it myself(I'm a software engineer). Also please do refer "Repair Service Terms and conditions" clause no 5, it says that "repair service shall be initiated only on approval of estimates" by the customer over phone/ email etc . Now the service center people says that they called me over my phone and I was not able to answer the Call. Do that mean that they can makes changes or repair on my system?? for your concern I called back them did not get any info: about the estimate. Also I had given my email id why didn't they contact me through mail???. Is this the way you treat your customer?? I am really ashamed by this behavior of the service center. If you still want to pay Rs 600/- I wont prefer for other sony products and wont recommend this for others too.

                    I am totally dissatisfied with Sony Bravia. My hard earned money, is of no use. It pains me a lot. Considered to be a good brand but forever no more Sony product in my purchase. Within one and half year, display panel is gone. What is the function of quality department?When i enquired with the service centre in kochi(Madonna electronics, Edapally) they saying that its common complaint for that model of sony, so there is no other option you have to change the panel and the cost of panel is 12k.And now its almost 3 years.Does sony have any other option for us?

                      To, The Customer care Griveance cell Sony Vaio Laptop care Sir, Subject :- Sony vaio laptop Model No.SVE15113ENB, Sl.No.[protected] Complaint -reg. With due regards, I would like to submit the following facts for your perusal and necessary action please. These are – 1. I had purchased Sony Vaio laptop from Lapie Shopie, Nehru Place, New Delhi vide Invoice No.1313 dated 18/08/2013. 2. After few months, I visit to Sony Authorized Service Centre, 94 G.T.Road, Chaudhry ‘more, Ghaziabad regarding problem of heating and hanging. Got examined by the Engineers, he booked my laptop for servicing. 3. After some days, I feel the problem was not completely resolve, the system retain the same problem. I visit again the centre and request for rectify the problem of heating & hanging. 4. During servicing, he format my laptop and installed Window also change my keypad of the system. When I ask him what he has done during the servicing, he informed the problem was occuring due to keypad.Therefore, he replace my keypad with new one and informed he has done this job without inforimg because the system was under guarantee. 5. The period of guarantee has been over. I was very upset due to this type of working of Authorized centre and don’t want to visit again Sony centre in future, but unfortunate, my original window has been corrupt, due to this I visit the centre on 31/7/14 and make complaint to recover the window and resolve the problem of heating and hanging. 6. At Sony Centre, after examination, he booked my laptop under Job No. J41686674 for servicing, heating, hanging & recovery to be install. 7. On job side, he had format my system and recover window. I paid him an amount of Rs.1124/- for this job. I received back my laptop and reached at home. 8. At home, I thoroughly check the system and found some keys of my system was not working properly. Next day, I visit the Sony centre and request him for resolve the said problems also informed him on booting the system is displaying booting message which was not displayed at earlier, message is reproduced as below : “ Choose an operating system to start or press tab to select a tool. (use the arrow keys to highlight your choice, then press enter) Window 7 To specify an advanced option for this choice, press F8. Tools: windows memory diagnostic Enter=choice Tab=menu Esc = cancel” But he denied my request and informed your system need to replace the keypad. If you want, I can book your system for replacing the keypad. I ignore his speak and back to home. 9. Here, I am very much surprised and angry about the quality of the laptop and work performance of the Engg. Of the Sony Authorised centre. I want to ask what I do ? Is there any problem in Hardware or software keypad or any other problem or the system is of poor quality ? 10. I request to your goodself please do the needful in my matter as per Rule & Regulation, if possible please replace my system with new one as the system was not good in performance from a starting day.                         Hi, Had registered a complaint on 20th August 2014, Request ID 20539773. The engineer was supposed to visit today. I had called[protected], as I had received the sms to contact this no for the same. The confirmation was provided to me around 1:30 pm today that the engineer would visit by 4:30 pm at the Inorbit address which i had provided to your team. I requested you team if the servicing can be done at my bandra address since I was there today, they replied saying that again a complaint will be logged for the same. Since I wanted the Laptop to repair today itself, I travelled all the way from my bandra address to my malad address to ensure the same. When the engineer did not visit on the scheduled time, called up the above phone no to see where it was stuck. There was no response, the phone lines were continuously ringing. I again called up your call centre [protected] and stated the whole matter at around 5:30 pm. The gentleman told me he will get back to me in half hour as[protected] was not responding to him too. I just got a call from the engineer [protected], at 7:00 pm..??? and he was saying that he will not be able to come today and will come tomorrow. When I told him that my office is closed tomorrow and asked him why he has not given this information earlier, he started screaming on me telling me that he had many times called me and I had not received his phone..he was extremely arrogant and rude. He was not ready to listen and was just being horrible to me over the phone. It was then I finally had to raise my voice to make him listen and ask him which number he had contacted, and it was some land line number..??? When I had just provided my Mobile number for any contact then why is the team contacting some random landline number??? Who has given the right to your engineer to shout at customers??? If this is not resolved with an APOLOGY by tomorrow, I will file a complaint at the Consumer Forum !!! Very Unhappy & Dissatisfied Customer Sujata N Jain [protected]

                          I have a SONY DIGITAL CAMERA, Model No. DSC H-1, I was purchase in 2005 and I am using this Camera, its performance has been very very good as like to other Sony products. Recently, I had travel via bike to HP from Delhi, Due to bad condition of road the lens alignment out and camera is out of service. There is No picture on screen. I visited the Star Electronics (Authorized SONY Service center) Naraina branch, DELHI on 22-May-2014 (Job no # J41067884, dt[protected]. After the inspection of Camera they inform me, Camera lens is fully damage and need to replace. The lens cost is near to Rs 10, 000/-. After few weeks, I visit to Club Electronics (Authorized SONY Service center) South Extension, DELHI on 08-Aug-2014 (job no #J41755455, dt[protected]. They charge me Rs 675/- as service changes and informs me Lens alignment is tuned and would be work fine. I am very happy to felt the same performance of My DSC H-1. But I am very disappointed to see the behavior of Start Electronics Narayana Branch. Customer faith of SONY and they goes to Authorized center for any product repair.                           Prople sitting at this service center is a big time fraud and rude people. They damaged my TV while repairing and then not accepting their mistake. Person named sanjeev is the most rude and mannerless person with zero knowledge about sony products and still act as a owner of Sony company! Shame on this service center and related people!!

                            I have bought sony ericsson J108i phone in 2011, last month it got hangged an not started I have shown it to Sony service center and they are saying now sony and ericsson are not together so we don't provide support to Sonyericsson phone..
                            My complaint is that why a normal customer should suffer due to their sepration.
                            I have bought a branded phone with the hope that I will get good customer support but now I am suffering.
                            Better I should bought some Chines phone in less then half price so I can throgh it happily.

                              Purchased a 40" colour Sony LED TV KDL-EX520 in JUNE 2012. Now I am facing the horizontal RGB distortion on the screen, when approached the customer care, they asked to do the Factory settings which I did but the problem still exists. Then an engineer came to inspect the TV. He took Rs. 500/- to tell me that it was the display panel board problem and which needs to be changed and the cost would be around Rs. 23000. I mean after paying so much price for a brand that claims to be of best quality I need to pay almost 40% of the TV cost within such short span o[censored]sage makes me think what do you define as quality. I found a lot of people facing this same problem and this to be a manufacturing defect. Funny Part is I do have a stabilizer to ensure that there is no fluctuation of power possibility to damage the Panel board. I would request the concern authority to take immediate action on this and get my TV display panel replaced free of cost or replace the TV unit itself as 1. I don’t see any point in paying so much for repair purpose with such product, which already is having manufacturing defects. 2. What is the guarantee that after one year the panel does not fail or any other part does not work after the panel is changed, do you expect your customers to suffer and spend their hard earned money on your bad quality products.

                                  I had Purchased Sony Xperia c last year in Dec i.e 26th Dec 2014 I have been having this problem of "storage space running out" after transferring all my apps and whatever possible info on the SD card.I took it to the service center in panjim in July and still they were not able to rectify the situation. I wrote to your team by end of july after getting no solution for the problem.Your team adviced me to go back again and that the service center will rectify the issue. I went to the Sony Service Center Panjim (Zeel Infotech) on the 13th August 2014.They kept the handset with them over 7 days only to get my Phone with the same storage issue. This is the 2nd time I have spent money and time in fixing this issue. Over these 7 days I have lost in Lacks as I could not operate from a Cell phone which my business depends on. They told me that there was a problem in the software which they have corrected however it is worse than before.At least before I had 10 downloaded apps, now after putting the wifi on, the phone has updated its inbuilt apps and I could download only 5 apps. My phone is set on preferred instillation location for storage as SD CARD, further more I manually transferred whatever apps possible to the SD Card. I am totally dissatisfied with this product of yours. I have been asking for a solution now for over a month and I still have not got it. I have already done the research on your other phones which are in the Xperia C range, All have horrible reviews.Looking at those reviews I Want my REFUND(which I had mentioned in last complaint) as you'll cannot fix this issue. I do not wish to have any thing to do with any replacement of any other Sony Handset as nothing makes sense. Also I would like to bring to your notice, see the invoice attached, where is the job done mentioned? What is this, a laundry receipt, even a laundry receipt have details of the job to be done.where is it mentioned Software problem? I just spoke to your team right now, i.e from 8.00p.m, on the 21st August 2014, (you can check your records[protected] and I have been informed there is no solution other than doing Factory Resets every month (which is not a solution), that means I have to sit with the phone over hours every month just because you'll are selling defective models? IF I HAD TO DO THAT THEN I WOULD HAVE GONE FOR A CHEAPER ALTERNATIVE INSTEAD OF GOING FOR A SMARTPHONE.WHAT IS SMART ABOUT THIS PHONE WHICH NEEDS FACTORY RESETS EVERY MONTH / EVERY TIME ANY APPS UPDATE. I WANT MY REFUND. If the issue is not taken seriously I WILL GO TO THE HIGHER AUTHORITIES if necessary. I have spent 20, 000/- odd rupees plus the trips of going up and down to your service Centers plus I have lost over lacks of rupees due to the phone being kept in the service center in the name of providing solution to the issue. I would have taken my losses if there was a disclaimer on the Box stating that android phones have the issue with Storage. This is misrepresenting the product and cheating the customer.As a company you'll are aware of the flaws in this Product, this phone should have been discontinued as I am not the 1st customer complaining about it.                                     I purchased 42 inch Sony LED TV Model W700B from M/s Mahavir Electronics, Kothrud, Pune on 07.08.2014.The person from Mahavir electronics give delivery the next day. They communicated to Sony for further proper demonstration of the above refered TV. I also personally taken follow up continuously for Demo. One representative came for the same. But he could not explain the demo properly & as I was not satisfied, I requested the Mahavir & Sony Centre for sending another technical person. But there is no response from Sony. Till date no person from your side attended the situation. So I hired another private technician & done the job. We are not expecting such poor service from trusted Brand like you. How can I further refer your Brand to my collegues &relatives? This is for your information & further action if any. Bhagwat Patil Warje, Pune

                                      i have purchased a sony new z phone on 11-july-14 by payingrupees 26000 the phone got spoiled in five days like i was not able t here any calls or my voice to other there was a problem in mic. so i asked for a fresh new phone in same shop and they gave me a sealed new phone but that phone also had t same problem like above .n for this replacement they charged me 600 rupees from shop even i had bill and warranty. now i gave the phone to Sony service center manglore on 6th of august i asked for a replacement phone they gave me a phone but that was too old. so i again returned the phone on 9th of august n i asked for non damaged phone they only give very old phones as replacement so i wanted a new or a gud phone as replacement. please do something about this problem. now m not satisfied by Sony service so please take this complaint as serious n give me justice i am not getting a good replaced phone and from one month i am struggling to get my phone back and it cansuming my time and lots of money to because i travel from far place to the service center. nw i have the last option is indian consumer forum only so please take action on this compliant . i have all documents bills and compliant forms .for any more details required then please give me a call [protected] or dalmeida.[protected]@gmail.com

                                        Dear Sir, I am using SONY appliances from last many years but now I have come across with poor service response from SONY service centre, BILASPUR(C.G-495001).I have given my SONY TV, Model No-32V LCD KLV32V400A (Purchased 5 years approx. back) for repairing on 18th Aug.14 because no picture is coming in my TV from last 10 days for which I had made complain on 12th Aug.14 (Complain no[protected] and your service engineer visited home and inform that you have to give TV to my service centre for further action but till now no positive action has been taken from your side & We all family are unsatified with the way things are going on.
