I purchased Sony Vaio laptop last year. Since, that onwards i am facing a lot of problems with the same. I visited many times to Sony service centre for the rectification of my problems but they did not give their best.My laptop track pad was changed, Windows got formatted six times and now keyboard is creating problems. In last month service centre had ordered for keyboard,till now it is not reached to its destination. Sony's service is very bad and i want them to replace my Laptop with a new one because without laptop i am unable to do my works.

      Dear sir, My new Sony Xperia Z Ultra costed Rs.45,000 purchased on 27th august,2013 has got its display damaged where I have given it for repair at an sony service center on 12th september 2013 Job No: W[protected] and ticket ID: [protected]. The service center says that they cannot repair my phone ,where as I need to pay Rs.23,000 more so that I would get a new Handset. Now when Sony cannot provide service for my phone.Why would I pay extra amount for a new handset when my phone has to be repaired by Sony under warranty.

        Please provide as mHello Team, I have already elaborate my problem but again you are saying the same, but here again I like to clear the picture there is no physical damage why company count it’s like a physical damage even there is not a single scratch on a phone it’s only a company fault where customers survive why company committing this is a water resistance phone . If something is there So it’s only a wrong commitment or the manufacturing fault. I need a proper clarification for this mail otherwise I need to take some serious legal action which even not good for company prospectus and goodwill. Here is the complete details for same.         My SIM card was not getting detected so I handed over my Sony Xperia Mobile to accel service center at pune. While removing the SD Card they damaged my SD card as well as they blamed me that I didnt insert the SD card properly. Also for repairing the mobile they demanded rs. 4000. However my husband repaired it within 1 hour. It seems the Sony service centers just are here demand money but the damage they caused to my SD card for that they do not provide any compensation

          Please proHi,

          I am writing this email to express my grief and frustration regarding the support I have received from the Sony Service Centre (Dehra Doon). Just to let you know, ever since the time I purchased this Laptop (Model# SVE15113 enwin5) all I have had is Hastle, Difficulties, Troubles and Problems. This laptop started giving me troubles from the very first month. I purchased this laptop for Internet, Re-creation (Movies n Music) and sometimes to do some Office Work. I don’t use it for commercial purposes. This Laptop started acted weird, started freezing, running slow Post 2 months of purchase. I was so disappointed that I had now stopped using it as it was very slow and working on it was a real torture. It even added on to my frustration when the Keyboard started to malfunction. Now the system was of no good to me as had simply quit functioning. As the system was Inside warranty so I thought of getting this Fixed.

          NOW THE MAIN SUFFERING- THE LAPTOP WAS USELESS ; THE SERVICE WAS PATHETIC.

          I TOOK MY LAPTOP TO THE SERVICE CENTER ON 2nd AUGUST 2013. The TECH THERE DIAGONOSED THE PROBLEM AND CONFIRMED KEYBOARD FAILURE. THE TECH GAVE ME A JOB SHEET AND SAID THAT THE KEYBOARD WILL BE REPLACED AND THAT THE SYSTEM WILL BE FIXED WITHIN 7 TO 10 DAYS. HE ALSO TOLD ME THAT HE IS ORDERING THE PART NOW SO THAT THE SERVICE COULD BE MADE ASAP. I WAS OK WITH IT. I SOMETIMES USED THE LAPTOP TO COMPLETE MY OFFICE WORK. NOW I HAD INFORMED MY BOSS THAT I WONT BE ABLE TO WORK FROM HOME AS HAVE NO SYSTEM. HE UNDERSTOOD MY SITUATION AND HAD BEEN KIND AS IT WAS JUST A MATTER OF 7 DAYS.

          I HAD THIS IMPRESSION IN MIND THAT THIS WILL BE FIXED AND I WILL GET BACK A GOOD MACHINE. TODAY IT’S 11TH September 2013 AND I HAVENT HAD MY LAPTOP STILL. THE BEST ANSWER I GOT FROM THE TECH THERE IS- WE HAVENT RECEIVED THE PART (KEYBOARD) YET AND SO IT WAS NOT SERVICED OR TOUCHED EITHER. I TURNED FURIOUS BCOZ I HAD BEEN FOLLOWING UP ON THE STATUS OF THE REPAIR HOWEVER WAS GIVEN RUN AROUNDS, FAKE/FALSE COMMITMENTS. I DID SPEAK WITH THE CUST SERVICE ON (23rd AUGUST 2013) THE TOLL FREE# AND THEY ASSURED THAT THE KEYBOARD WILL BE REPLACED AND THE SYSTEM WILL BE FIXED AND RETURNED BY 26th AUGUST 2013.

          IT HAS ALMOST BEEN 41 DAYS AND THE BEST THING WAS THE PART WASN’T IN STOCK OR AVAILABLE. FORGET ABOUT THE SYSTEM, THE PART WASN’T STILL IN STOCK.

          I DID SPEAK WITH ONE OF THE SENIOR MEMBERS (VIKAS) AND HE CONFIRMED THAT THE PART WAS STILL NOT AVAILABLE AND SO THEY WERE UNABLE TO FIX IT. I HAVENT SEEN SUCH AN IMCOMPETENT N UNCAPABLE COMPANY AND STAFF LIKE SONY. WHERE THE HELL IS THE KEYBOARD COMING FROM. YOU HAVE ALREADY TAKEN 41 DAYS AND IT WASN’T AVAILABLE STILL.

          Vikas Apologised and confimred - As per the Sony policies n Guidelines, if the system does not get fixed in 30 days Sony issues an Exchange. He repeated this statement and also mentioned that the Laptop will be replaced in next 3-5 days. I was a Ok with the Laptop being Exchanges as it had given multiple troubles...It has issues with the Battery, Hard Drive and Keyboard. So I decide to give then a weeks time so that I get a New Machine and that will give me a peace of mind.

          WHY WAS I PROVIDED INCORRECT AND FALSE INFORMATION ?
          WHY WERE FALSE PROMISES OR COMMITMENTS MADE ?

          TODAY I LITERALLY SHOUTED AS I HAVE LOTS OF OFFICIAL PENDING WORK. EVERY WEEKENDS I HAD TO BORROW A LAPTOP FROM A FRIEND TO COMPLETE MY WORK.

          I SERIOUSLY NEED A COMPENSATION NOW. THE WORST THING THAT HAPPENED WAS- NO ONE AT THE SERVICE CENTER BOTHERED TO INFORM OR COMMUNICATE THAT THE PART WAS OUT OF STOCK AND THIS WILL TAKE SOME TIME TO GET REPAIRED. DESPITES ME FOLLOWING UP ON 32 OCCASIONS, YOUR STAFF FAILED TO FULFILL THEIR OWN PROMISES.

          VIKAS RE-ASSURED ME THAT IF THE LAPTOP DOES NOT GET FIXED BY 1ST SEPTEMBER 2013, HE WILL GIVE ME AN EXCHANGE. I EXPECT HIM TO KEEP UP TO HIS WORDS.

          Yesterday I spoke with VIKAS AND HIS ASI PRADIP KUMAR (WHO WAS WELL AWARE OF THE COMPLETE SITUATION), THEY BOTH INITIALLY PROMISED AN EXCHANGE HOWEVER DENIED YESTERDAY. SAID THAT IT WAS SONY WHO WILL DECIDE WHETEHER TO ISSUE AN EXCHANGE OR NOT. SAID THAT THEY WILL NOT REPLACE IT, INSTEAD REPAIR IT. They both said that they did RAISE A REQUEST HOWEVER IT WAS NOT ACCEPTED.

          MY FINAL CONCERN HERE IS- IF THEY WERE NOT SURE WHETHER AN EXCHANGE WILL BE AUTHORISED OR NOT , HOW CAN THEY FOOL OR MISGUIDE SOMEONE MORE THAN 20 TIMES THAT I WILL BE ISSUED AN EXCHANGE.

          NEITHER OF THEM COMMUNICATED ONCE THAT THE EXCHANGE WAS UNSURE. INSTEAD THEY KEPT ON GIVING A RUN AROUND.

          I NOW NEED A COMPENSATION OF ALL THE CALLS MADE TO THESE WHO DONT KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING. I ALSO WANT AN EXCHANGE AND NOT THE DEAD SYSTEM WHICH WAS GIVING PROBLEMS SINCE THE BEGINNING.

          I HAVE NOW COMPLETELY LOST FAITH IN YOUR COMPANY AND PRODUCTS. I GUARANTEE YOU THAT I WILL NEVER EVER RECOMMEND YOUR PRODUCTS TO ANY OF MY FRIENDS RELATIVES OR EVEN ENEMIES.

            Hi, I purchased a sony led 32" w670a from sony center infantry road bangalore. It has been 4 days now the installation guy has never turned up. Infact he calls me and gives useless excuses when i really got frustrated and told him nt to come he simply tells OK and hangs up the phone . Now I am totally against buying any sony products amf also I want to return back the tv and go for another brand

              I have bought sony xperia tipo dual 8 months ago. When I have started using earphones I had getting problems with its sound quality. Sometimes one earphone is playing and another one is not and most of the times its not detecting the earphones as songs are playing on outer speakers when earphones are plugged in. At Service center they are not responding properly. As i visited 3 times. I want solution.

                When i press the start button of my laptop ( SVE15113EN) , the Windows logo takes 5- 10 minutes to appear , exactely above the "Starting Windows" . However , in normal laptop's , it takes hardly 30 seconds. I had taken it twice to Sony Service Centre ,but still the problem could'nt resolved .

                  I have purchased xperia ZL phone 2 months back. Only reason for purchasing it was its Infra Red Codes Learning Hardware with which it can be used as Universal Remote. (This feature is also available in HTC One but not in Galaxy S-4). Same day I tried this remote control programming and found that Learnt Infra Red Signals of another remote does not work. Only prelisted codes like in Galaxy-S4 work on this phone. Since then I mailed to Sony 100s of times, put this problem many times on Sony's Facebook pages, Twitter pages, Called Customer Care, went many times to Sony Service Center at Surat, talked to service head and discussed about this issue, previously service center technicians were not aware about this application but I explained them what is Infra Red Code learning function and made them realise that this phone has defective hardware. They tested many handsets at their service location but it didn't work on any. They replaced my handset with new one but as its manufacturing defect in all its hardware the replacement unit also didn't work. Again I started calling them but they dont have solution for it. Only answer given on repeated calling is that they are escalating the issue.                     I have been noticing numerous air bubble like blister that has formed on the LCD panel of my Sony Bravia EX300 32-inch TV. The TV is about 3 years old and these bubble like things started appearing on a corner of the screen and now it is spreaded across the screen. The picture on the screen appears hazy and cloudy, especially the darker part of the picture brings out the cloudiness more, and it covers all the parts of the screen. I have reported this to Sony and they asked for the bill which I do not have. I lost it. By the way who will keep all these bills? I have strongly reported to Sony Corporation and they did not bother to help me out. The carelessly told me that its because of the het from the TV itself and nothing can be done. They have not bothered to offer me a solution. THe excuse they have told me was: Warranty Expired. So cheap of Sony in aftermarket Complaint addresasl. I never expected this from Sony Corp. We are paying more than the normal price for Sony Products when compared to competitors products which goes vein. The service person from Thrissur visited my TV and he said that he will come on the next day with a camera to take the pics and send it to the research team but he did not turn back. Also, he stopped picking my call. So cheap of Sony corp. I have contacted the sony support several times with no luck. Sent detailed email to the above email address. They collected all my details and informed me that they are located in the US hence cant help us. However requested him to forward this complaint to the service head and the social media head in India so that they can take appropriate actions. For this he did not respond. Overall the sony after market complaint surviliance team or the process stinks. My area sony service team contacted me and quited 13k for reparing the lcd screen which is more than the price of this tv. So dicided to dump sony for ever. Sony nut-heads removed my comments from the sony forum. They are hopeless and nut headed people. Instead of addressing my problem they are sweeping the problem by deleting my comment. Shame on them. I really had a very bad experience talking to sony corp. spoke more than 7 times but no use. The lady called me from delhi was very rude and she was arguing and finally threatening me. Do I ditched it. Moreover they are deleting my posts from this forum. Shame on the after market complaint addressal team. Group of cowards.

                      sir, I bought sony vaio laptop before six months in bangkok.I install original windows 7 os.Recently my os get corrupted.I went to sony laptop authorised service center in salem to reinstall it.But they didnt give me any response.I am a college student.I had warranty also.I also told to give money for reinstallation.But they didnt hear my words.I feel bad for getting sony vaio laptop.I went to normal service center and reinstall duplicate os.My money,original os and data is lost.Even os reinstallation is not possible in sony service center,then why you give warranty and set up service center everywhere?

                      Hi,
                      I handet a transister Radio ICF 7600D to Sony Servic center Bangkok.It was accepted but only for a cleaning fee of 107 Bhat, to see if it would work. I got a call back after some days -comment nothing wrong with it"
                      I got there to pick it up and was advised -not repareble -no more parts available and to get, t had to sign a form that I received a repaired item !!!
                      End of the line-forget Made in Japan.A similar age German transistor Radio "NORDMENDE" was fixed by the smart Thai fixers near Klong Tom in a few houers time for reasonable money.

                        Hello, I have bought sony xperia tipo dual 8 months ago. When I have started using earphones I had getting problems with its sound quality. I have visited Xperia care for 3 times and mailed to sonyindiacare for 5 times. First time when I visit they just update the software and did not hear for my earphone sound quality problem. Than I have mailed to Xperia care and visited for second time they just replaced it with another earphones. But when I hear its not sounds properly and one earplug sometimes not playing sound. I told them about it but they never heard me and I have mailed sony xperia care for 2 times but I did not get any solution. Its hopeless for me to use earphones because most of the earphones are unsupported to my handset and some supported earphones are not playing sound properly. One earphone sounds low and another one stays mute for all the earphones. I do not know that the problem is there at earphones or Handset? And after updating software my mobile loses its battery very quickly. Before, update software at sony care, it took 3-4 days to come to 25-30% battery status. But after update it reaches from 100 to 30 in 25-30 hrs without any use. Now after spending Rs.10,000/- I did not expect such a poor quality and also a very very poor customer care support service. I am really very disappointed.

                          i buy a sony xperia z mobile phone from jodhpur before 2 month.and before 10-15 days ago i removed my mobile screen guard from the front the screen.and see that the logo of the company(SONY) is removed with the screen guard.after that i call in customer care and they told me that this is cosmetic damage,liquid damage,and physical damage.and your mobile phone is out of warranty now.and the i mail in company email address they told me that your mobile is in warranty and there is no liquid,cosmetic&physical damage now you can go to the service center the assist you better.then i went to the jodhpur service center but the service center executive told me that this is your personal problem why you remove the screen guard so we cant help you in that matter thats why i complaint in this fourm so plz help me.

                            I bought a Sony Vaoi laptop (Model no SVT13113ENS IN5, Serial No. 7002451) in Aug 2012. Within 2 months, the laptop started crashing showing blue screen error. I called customer service and they told me to use ASSIST button to diagnose the problem. Since that was also not working, they sent over a technician to check. He just formatted the machine and gave it back. In March 2013, the laptop again started giving the same problems. Blue screen, pen drive not detected, speakers not working. I gave the laptop to Metal Tech Service center in Malad. They formatted the laptop and gave it back. On the same day I faced the same issues for which I had given the laptop for repairing. I went back and told them to thoroughly check what is wrong instead of just formatting the laptop every time. Finally they discovered that hard drive was the problem and replaced the hard drive. The machine worked fine till August 2013 when again it started crashing showing blue screen error. I have given again to the service center. This time also some part was defective which was replaced. I have asked for a replacement as there is definitely some defect due to which the laptop cannot work without problems for more than 2-3 months at a time. It’s been more than 3 weeks now but I have yet to hear from Sony regarding the same I am so DISAPPOINTED with the quality of this Sony product. After spending 45,000 of hard earned money, this is what quality you get. Within a year, I have made so many rounds to the service center. I would strongly recommend people to think twice before buying Sony laptops. I wish I had bought HP or Dell instead. My pervious HP laptop which I used for 6 years did not have a single problem throughout.

                            I have been calling the customer care since last week repeatedly and every time I get an answer that some senior executive from Sony will call. I am STILL waiting for the call. I had written email to [protected]@ap.sony.com and they sent their standard formal email with no resolution. Its been a week since that too.

                            Does Sony have a concept of Turnaround time for addressing customer compliants? From my experience so far, it definitely does not seem so.

                            Sony laptop has definnitely not lived up to its image on quality front but Sony customer service is definitely living up to its reputation of pathetic customer service based on my experience and all the compliants I have read so far on this forum.
                            I have been repeatedly calling up the call center and every time they tell me that some senior executive will call me . I am Still waiting for the call. Sony's customer service really is pathetic. No concept of turnaround time for addressing customer complaints or do they have so many compliants that they don't have enough resources to handle all the compliants. second scenario seems to be more applicable judging by all the compliants I have read so far. Speaks volume about the company's quality and image.

                              This is Fourth time my mobile is submitted in customer service center Mumbai(S. G Infotech Borivali). They told today that they had replaced handset but they 3rd time changed motherboard , same they did previously and for that they took 3 weeks. I am not willing to collect this hand set. They are misguiding me continuously. I am facing this problem since 3 month. But not getting solution properly.

                                    My laptop's screen is damaged according to Sony vaio executive. But how can I break something widout even making a single scratch on laptop's screen. And if it is really damaged than that's only because of the weight of laptop's charger. Coz the only thing that was above the laptop was laptop's charger. Sony vaio people are just trying to ignore this issue. They are not even replying to my emails. And their customer care executives are not ready to listen to me. I'm totally fed up now. The other thing is my laptop's half screen is working and half doesn't so if it is damaged than how other half is still working? This is completely a way of making your customers fool that its broken.

                                      I have lost my Sony bills of Vaio E series. I have been asking for a duplicate copy of fill so i can get my laptop repaired. I have been doing follow from almost 7 months now i have been not getting any support. Sony being such a big company cannot help customer to provide a copy of bill.I had taken my laptop from E mall but the dealer saying that the series number is not matching. Emall Infotech Pvt. Ltd. Vadodara

                                      Really pathetic service that they cannot provide customer copy of which for two years old laptop from their data base. I request some one to help and get me my bills at the earliest.

                                      Laptop is two years old and with very less usage it got corrupted twice till now and has now a line in screen LED which is appearing. Pathetic experience when we don't get service after buying costly products.

                                        1. i ve deposited my sony xperia SL LT26i handset twice in the month of july2013 but still my handset has got many problems and i am unable to use it every time i report to sony customer care they give me ticket id no which is not solving my problem. 2. there is no connectivity. 3. battery is getting charged @ 10% in 1 hour. 4. if any case it catches signals its intenet connectivity is not there.
