Dear Sir/ Madam,
I have purchased Sony’s current flagship the Xperia Z .
I bought this phone because it was the only phone available with water resistant feature which I thought would be a very handy feature until my phone got dead because of it.

When I was using it, its litmus paper near headphone jack got red,
I don’t know how, but it was red, but my phone was working flawlessly as it should be.

During this rain, I was out and my phone was in my pocket.after reaching home my phone was switched off. it was not booting up.
and when i visited the service center they are asking for 80% of its total price for repairing.

so I request your intervention to sort out the issue as I haven’t made any mistake.

    I've bought this SONY XPERIA DUAL E(C1604) recently, like 4 months back, but this is giving me nightmares, very poor performance, a flop show from SONY to earn illegitimate money by making such poor products. I haven't suggested my friends to buy any SONY products after this heck. This Phone not only gets hung up frequently, but shows poor display performance as well, sound/audio is little relief but without performance it has nothing to do with doing anything on phone. When it hangs up, the only option is to do the reboot, which takes 3-4 minutes usually, but what about emergency situation when I need to call somebody urgently or work on any application on urgent basis, then this phone turns to be total betrayal. Don't know what to do, don't know what to do. Hope other people who've bought the same or similar phones would understand this better. I think it was a mistake to buy & use this phone, now I won't suggest anybody to opt for SONY XPERIA, never in my life. I can tell them to go for MICROMAX/SAMSUNG/ALCATEL/NOKIA or any good reputed brand for that matter, but not SONY.

    Added to that, don't know what to do, whether to bury it or not. I can't throw it because I don't have loads of money to buy other phones or change the hardware of this phone. So just expressing my grief here. If people look at it, be warned.

      I have brought new sony vaio e series laptop SVE1513ACNB. I have been facing continuous issues with the laptop since the day I bought it. The laptop isn’t operating properly. It is very slow , sound problem and many a times when I try to log in it takes me to a more time to log on. Sometimes I wasn’t even able to log in. whenever I try to use it the problem persists. I have been to service center 2 times to Jaypee Electronics
      C-54, Ground Floor, Noida Sector-2, Noida - 201301 ; they said hard disc has to change. but they didnot change the hard disk and still i am persisting the same issue. I didn’t get any satisfactory responses. I was told that by the customer care that it was a software issue and recovery would solve all the issues.Could you please take action against them.

        I am from Cochin, Kerala and I have purchased an LCD TV 32 BX 350 11 months back and the TV has got some issues from the second week of my purchase. The initial installation itself took more than a week to be done from SONY! Even after sending so many complaints to SONY CARE, they are interested in providing the Service Request Numbers and now it is my hobby to collect the Service Request Numbers from SONY CARE. I'll list out some of the request numbers for the reference.

          I have given My sony Vaio Laptop due to complaint at sony servise center Madona Electronics on July 24th 2013 . but still the service center people are saying they dont have the parts to repair the same .its already nearing a month i am following them up for the same . but no response the job no they have give is J31307561. kindly guide me in solving the same .
          My issue is not getting my Sony Vaio Laptop Getting repaired in the authorized service center at Madona Electronics Ernakulam even after one month. the only reason stated by them is that they don't have the parts to repair the same . I believe they are not in lack of technitcian at cochin. i Belive this is only because of the lack of management and service issue from Sony India.

            Subject: Complaint regarding my laptop.

            Dear sir/mam,

            My self Pradeep Kumar recently I had purchased a new sony vaio laptop on 24th july 2013 from vijay sales swasthya vihar, Vikas marg, Delhi. Its model number is SVF15212SNW and within 20 days of purchasing m facing lots of problems its keyboard and touchpad are not working thatsy m unable to do my urgent work from last 3 days. I complaint many times on your sony vaio customer care ([protected]) from 14th august 2013 till today there is no proper response and no one is listening my issue. They always give me a new service request number just like[protected],[protected] but they did not take any legal action against my complaint. Sony Vaio agents are not having helping tendency to customers.

            I requested you to please solve my problem as soon as possible and kindly initiate necessary disciplinary action against the company and your agents for causing the delay. if you are not able to cooperate with us then i will forward my complaint to consumer court or our nearest Police Station.

              Bought a SONY LCD TV 32inches from Vijay Sales Ghatkopar branch in June 2013
              And faced a black out of the TV in Aug 1st week itself.

              Now, since Vijay sales said while selling the product, to register the complaint with them first, i dutifully did so. However, nothing came back from them same day.
              I managed to call Sony customer care when i got my complaint number on phone and then also got to know that it will take 48hrs to adhere to the complaint.
              In 48hrs no call/sms/email from either Sony or Vijay Sales on where my complaint is and what will happen next.
              Then i call up the technician who visited my place to check whats happening, on which he said the part has not yet come and will come soon.

              Couple of days later the technician calls to inform that the part has come and he will be coming by mid noon to fix. But nobody turns up.
              Next day again i call the service centre to check where the part is, i am informed that the part has not yet come and "will be fixed soon".

              Nobody turns up for another day.

              I call up Vijay sales to check if they have any information and to my surprise they did not even have an update on what the issue was, infact they asked me which part was getting replaced, isn't that funny ?
              I was assured by Vijay sales that there would be a fix of the issue next day by 2pm, however, after my repeated calls without anyone responding back, i get a call to be informed that technician will be there in another 10mins.
              Parallely a technician calls ( from opp my bldg ) to say that he is here to resolve with the part with him.

              Finally the part gets replaced, the TV is turned on and to our surprise, the TV blacks out again !!
              Now, i am told that the TV will be taken to the service centre to get a thorough check and will be returned within by next day 1pm.

              I do not think a Sony product, bought two months earlier, should get a part replacement and also go to a service centre for a thorough check.
              These things are to be done BEFORE the product is sold, right ?

              Also, what role does sales partners like Vijay Sales play here? aren't they equally responsible to handle my issue?
              And why aren't both the brand and sales partner having a quick response system to keep the consumer informed properly.

                I want to register the complaint regarding the worst service in sony service canter B 11, Near Ganna Sansthan, Tilak Marg, Dalibagh, Lucknow. I dn't have this much time that can make 10 rounds in a day of your service centre as my home is too far and this is in knowledge of your service centre staff. I gave my laptop on 10 Aug 2013 Model SVE15123CNB IN5 and Job no. J31433011, they had confirmed me that I can come to take my laptop after 2 days. I went to service centre on 14 Aug 2013 to take my laptop but by mistake i bought my old receipt, so they told me to that they can't give laptop without receipt but the problem in my laptop is resolved now. I request them that I can provide Job no. but again to come same will be not possible for me as my home is too far, but they told me that giving laptop without see job sheet not in the norms. Then I said ok that i will be coming on 16 Aug 2013 as 15 was national holiday and service canter was closed. Your service centre staff given me contact no. on before visiting your service canter i can make the call and then visit. Today on 16 Aug 2013 i made call two times they confirmed me that i can come to take my laptop. But when i visited service they told me that my laptop issue is still not resolved. Is this is a way Sony treats their customer? I feel like that they playing the time of the customer. The staff which is seating they are not trained; they give wrong information to customer. Sony is such a big brand this type of worst service is not accepted. Today when I shouted in service canter then they said that ok they will deliver my laptop at my home tomorrow 3 pm but as they make fake commitment i don't think so they will give my laptop. Is this is the service given to customer that when she or he will shout then only problem will be listened by then. I request that you should take some strict action there would many customers like me who will be facing this problem. I highly dissatisfied with customer service I experienced. Kindly look into it and resolve my issue ASAP.

                  Hi,

                  I use VPCEA23EN/B since 2010. My laptop had heating issue since sometime, I sent it for repair atleast 3-4 times when my laptop was under warranty but service center guys always return it saying that the everything is okay, heating problem is due to the Mumbai environment. My laptop warranty expired on 26 June and it got crashed almost one month after that. I tried my best to recover it from recovery cd but it did not work because some of the files were missing in the recovery cd as per the message shown. So I used a bootable Linux cd to copy all of my data before from internal HDD to external HDD and then reinstall the OS cd that I borrowed from a friend. Unfortunately, borrowed cd was also not working but by the time I had already wasted 15-20 days arranging for the cd and all. and finally I took my laptop to local service center to get the OS recovered from them, and what a shock they called me 4-5 days after submitted the laptop to them informing that my HDD is damaged, although my HDD was working perfectly fine before submitting the laptop to them, I had run the diagnostics tool to check memory errors as well, also I could copy all the data to/from Internal HDD. Now after submitting my laptop to service center they damaged my HDD . This is totally unacceptable, unethical way of earning more money from customer and the harassment caused to me. I need a full amount recovery because of their this act of ignorance of customer assest.

                    We have purchased a LED TV from Kamalia Sales, Ranchi dated 08/11/2011, Model No: SONY LED TV 40E X 720, Amt: Rs 715000. We have registered a Consumer complaint (No.[protected] to Sony Service Center on 10th of August'13 about the defective, but no one has responded till date.Also we want to know about the actual warranty time of TV Screen Panel which is damaged within 18 months. Please revert or rectify the defective.

                      ON 17/6/2013 ,SONY TECHNICIAN CALL ME AND SAID YOU HAVE REGISTER A COMPLAINT IF I VISIT YOU HAVE TO PAY RS 100 AS VISITED CHARGE AND AFTER THAN YOU HAVE TO PAY 250 SERVICE CHARGE WHEN I SOLVE YOUR PROBLEM ,I SAID OK I WILL GIVE YOU , HE CAME AND CHECK MY TV AND SAID THAT YOUR TV TUNER CARD HAS TO BE REPLACED AND HE WILL INFORM ME ITS COST ON PHONE AND REPLACE IT WITHIN 10 DAYS ,I AGREE AND GAVE HIM RS 100 AS VISITING CHARGE.

                      BUT SIR TILL THAT DAY NOBODY HAS CALL ME AND INFORM ME . I HAVE DONE LOTS OF PHONE AT SONY SERVICE CENTRE THEY REGISTERED MY COMPLAINT AGAIN AND AGAIN NO ONE TOLD ME THAT WHEN MY PROBLEM HAS TO BE SOLVED . ITS A VERY LONY TIME AFTER COMPLAINT, SIR I WANT A SOLUTION OF THIS PROBLEM PLS HELP.

                        I had purchased the "SONY Xperia S" Smart phone for 29,000 rupees on September 6th 2012 and after 4days the mobile started hanging and display becoming blur and low battery back up so i called up the mobile shop and told him about the problem so he suggested me to take the handset to the service center once and i was very sad on that day because this was my 43rd mobile and this was the first mobile of other brand the rest 42 mobiles were of Nokia and i had never faced such problem. As i am working in a Toyota company i wont get the holiday in the weekdays i had only Sunday but on Sundays the service center remains closed so i took a unplanned leave and went to service center. (18th sep) When i took to service center they told me to come after two days and then they told me that the problem has not solved yet, so i told them to repay my money back but they refused instead they told me that they would replace the handset and provide the new one and after 10 days they gave me the used handset instead of new handset on that i had sent my friend to collect the handset because of my busy schedule, by seeing the used handset i lost all belief on Sony company and again i took a unplanned leave and went there but they were not ready to accept that the handset was used when i showed them properly then they agreed and again they told me to wait for a week for a new handset (at tat time i had spoke with Mr. Rajesh [protected] the regional manager of Sony) and i told the regional manager that please give back my money so that i would go for other company mobile but he again he refused with some of my conditions. The conditions are > I had told him that i would not come the service center next time if any problem comes and he would come to my home & resolve the issue. > He would give me my money if the problem persist again. With these conditions i went off and after 10 days ie on 8th October they gave me the new handset. The new hand set was fine for 2 months and after that again it started hanging and very low battery backup and i had no time to visit the service center and on last Friday ie on feb 15th 2013 again my mobile display gone blur and switched off and it never switched on again so again i took the handset to service center because i had lost all the contacts in the mobile and also some important data s also. But this time really i am not interested in using that handset so please get my 29K back so that i will go for any better smart phone. I have lost my important data s three times and i have taken 3 unauthorized leaves with lot of petrol going there so please get my money back. And again I got my mobile on 20 th feb on the same day evening it started hanging, Even the auto rotate option not working, left and right turning sensors won’t work while playing the game, Continuously hanging, Low battery Back up, Display going blur, Even if the application is not open it will ask to close or wait for some time.

                        From past 5 months there is no reply for this issue from them.. (Complaint Raised on 20 th feb ‘13 and forwarded the issue to sony company on 23 rd feb ‘13)

                          I brought sony vaio laptop 3 months ago.It is not detecting any USB drive.I am not able to download any software.When I approach to customer care they didnt provide any solution.I have submitted the laptop in service center.They are not providing any solution.They are just irresponsible.

                            I am a loyal customer of Croma since few years and specially because I am myself a TATA employee

                            This email is regarding a bitter experience I am having now after my "Sony Vaio" laptop purchase almost 1.5 years ago. At the time of purchase I spent extra money to an extended warranty for 2 years. At that time I was told that in this extended period all hardware problems will be covered and if it will not be repairable, full money will be returned as credit to buy anything of same worth.

                            Recently I noticed a laptop mal-function (hinge is not moving on its excel properly making it joints go loose. When I approached Croma, I was told that this will not be covered under hardware.

                            I have couple of points to mention that:

                            1) Why there is mis representation of facts and why not customer is told in advance that "few things will not be covered"?...Why not a list of parts that are not covered is given to customer...probably then I should have not taken extended warranty or may have been taken from Sony directly. TATA is another name for integrity and I did not expect this from CROMA. At the time of taking ext. warranty, i was told "Sir, you now relax for 3 years as croma will take care of all software and hardware issues."

                            2) Moreover a mal-function due to inferior quality of design, should be taken care by either the seller (CROMA) or maker (SONY)...now Sony people are mentioning that the extended warranty is bought from Croma and not Sony albeit CROMA should take care of this and should be covered in there warranty.

                            Upon suggestion from Croma Store Manager, I have given laptop to Sony Center for estimation however I humbly request you to please cover these expenses or get this done by Croma technicians. Sony just informed me that to repair the hinge and cost would by Rs. 9880/- (what the hell?)

                            I am not ready to shell out any money for this thing when i had paid for extended warranty. I hope you will not let Croma Customers down and dis-satisfied due to small thing and turn to other sellers.

                            Please help or will have to take some strong action against this issue.

                              I have bought a sony viao laptop on 21st may 2010 from mt first stard at home its not working dealer said it to be a hardware issue
                              In the first start Its rediculous its not working

                                I have purchased new sony laptop model number SVF15212SNW on 12th Juy 2013. Within in 1 month it has started giving me charging problem. On charging point on , it works, while on switching off charging point, it doesn't work. Kindly guide me how to make it working, as your service centre is telling me,that might be motherboard is notworking and has to be changed. WHY SUCH A PROBLEM IN NEW LAPTOP, WITHIN ONE MONTH.                                 hard disk failure two times in 8-9 months ,bad parts in my vaio laptop who will guarantee me that this will not happen again when i will go out of warantee!!

                                    i have purchased sony xperia p for 21000rs on November 2012 in near by mobile shop where i have been informed that its an original peace with one year warrenty. I was having a technical difficulty with the mobile so for repairing i have taken to sony service center. where i have been told that its not an Indian peace but some other country peace which has been sold to me. When i questioned him he told me he would do any repair for free but now after giving the mobile for repair he is demanding 8000rs for giving the mobile back

                                      Sir,
                                      Being a regular customer of sony we used to trust your brand&#039;s products.
                                      Kindly Pay Attention to my issue with Laptop.
                                      I am owing a Sony Vaio with model number SVE14A15FNH and Serial Number 939.
                                      It was bought on[protected] and Since then i have not seen even a single day without problem. I have a 2 year extended warranty with this laptop and there are few major issues that are mentioned below
                                      1. Screen Distortion:- Screen gets distorted and becomes like a old black and white television without cable connection with unbearable Sound.
                                      2.During this distortion when the power supply gets unplugged then the laptop gets dead and even if the power supply is not connected and the problem occurs then connecting the charger cause the same dead condition.
                                      3.Many time i have taken it to sony service center and they just make fool o[censored]s all the time.They keep the laptop for even 10-15 days and when i get it back the problem persist.Being a Proffessional i can not afford such kind of problems with my laptop and even i do not expect such cheap servive and product from Sony itself.
                                      4. PFA some screen shots of Screen problem and also the job sheet of the service centers on which this laptop has been taken to since i had bought this technical junk.
                                      5.I expect a positive response from your side regarding this concern.Either you provide a genuine solution or replace my laptop otherwise i will not be responsible for the steps taken against your company.

                                        i have sony xperia tipo mobile(IN WARRANTY),it become hang out & touch problem and i submitted it to sony centre at Barasat on 20th july,they replied me that you will recieve it within 10days,then after they told me that we have change the parts of it and also company has no other xperia tipo to give you. so they told me that you will recieve your handset repaired within three days but ther are manipulating me and still on 1 month they are not repairing my phone in 4 months. they told the mobile PCB board damage in liquide(fault by me). but this fault is never gonna by me, so plz plz plz help me..........
