I bought laptop just before 5 Months and facing problems like : Laptop is slow, abnormal termination,poor sound quality. One time laptop got hanged and display totally went blank, I submitted laptop at service center and they said laptop's motherboard is crashed.We paid comparatively high price for laptop as brand name is "SONY". With the new laptop this should not be happen. This is totally disappointing and some action need to be taken for these kind of faulty machines.
Sony customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.

    I brought sony ear phones and its model no is MDR-EX100LP .It's not working. So I called sony service center vijayawada and they asked me to submit that product at their service center. Unfortunately when I went to submit the sony service center was closed due to strikes.This happened a day back. I then went to my nearest sony service center rajahmundry ans they were saying that warrenty period has been expired on[protected] and this is sunday. Then I called sony service center of vijayawada and they are saying the warrenty period is still there up to[protected] and they are ready to take it but on that day I am in Rajahmundry sony service center and with in three to four hours I can't reach vijayawada. This all happened on 23rd sertember 2013. And by today my warrenty period is going to be finished. When I called toll free number [protected] they said me to post complaint here. This dissapionted me a lot regarding this issue. Hoping the better solution from you. -----Joshi

      Same issue i have, we purchased the same product from Chroma in Feb 2011, and now as its above 1 year warranty is not there. But for such products and for sony this should be taken care as no one expects Sony products to behave like this and that is why we paid more costs to sony compared to similar products in market. me Email : [protected]@gmail.com

        committment and i hve recorded that..so plz give me another set to use....otherwise i will take action & i hve that video in which ur executive said...

          To, Mr. Kenichiro Hibi, Managing Director, Sony India Pvt. Ltd. A-31, Mohan Cooperative Industrial Estate, Mathura Road, New Delhi – 110 044. Sub: 32” Sony LED TV panel problem. Dear Sir, I had purchased this LED TV in March -2011 a second TV for our Drawing room from Utkal supply agency,Keonjhar,Orissa (LED TV Model No: KDL– 32EX420 IN5 ,Sr. no. - 2422572on dated: 31/03/201vide bill No: 3332. The said TV was being sparingly used . However week ago we found there is change in color of my TV Screen , after my complaint Sony Service engineer is asking us to pay Rs. 15,000 for replacing the LED Panel. Though I understand the warranty period is over, it is highly unfortunate that SONY’s LED Panel has failed with in such a short life span and asking us to pay this huge amount for repairing the same. I regret to inform you that this is shattering our confidence on SONY product quality. Hope an appropriate action taken by SONY India to replace the LED PANEL FREE OF COST. Thanks n Best Regards.             I have purchased Sony VIO laptop (VPCEH26EN), two years back, after 1 year I got yellow line in the LCD display so have replaced the LCD display in Velachery Sony service Center. But after 1 year completed (which is after the LCD display replaced) again the same yellow line got it in the same where I got before. I have worried about the sony product in buying in feature.             I have bought this model laptop. Worst laptop I have got. Service center is worst. Worst behaviour.
            Never buy Sony VAIO laptop. Parts are broke one by one automatically.
            Poor quality plastic used, which broke in two years. And before reaching 3 years everything is broken.
            I'll never use Sony product. Will go with HP.

              I purchased a sony vaio laptop F series model 15215 touch, but in the very first week, one of its usb port was not working. Initially I thought that it is simply a problem o[censored]sb port which can be repaired or changed from the authorised service centre of sony at dehradun. But when I went to the service centre after approx 20-25 days, they inspected my laptop and told me that its mother board will have to be replaced. I was shocked to hear such an advice from them, because such an initial stage, the main part of my laptop was to be changed. I insisted to replace my laptop with a new one, but they clearly refused to do so. Now I am constraining to take legal actions against sony company if my laptop is not replaced with a new one within a week.

                We had purchased a Sony Bravia 40BX420 from Mustafa Singapore on 28Nov2011..From July 2013, the TV started giving trouble and not working properly..On starting , it shows green colour and then turns black and starts with dull resolution and green colour shade..After sometime picture remain green and reduces in size.. Since Valsad doesn't have a service centre , we approached Shri Sai Service in Vapi and they are saying some PANEL attached needs to be changed and it will cost Rs 22000/-...We are retired and this is a huge sum, moreover the TV is 1.5yrs old only..we had puchased SONY with lot of a faith in the brand and it's reliability..
                We have been trying to contact Sony and they have registered a compliant but no action yet..we have been sending reminder after reminder..The compalint reference number is 15589830.

                Requesting you to look into this and help in solving our problem...Expecting a positive response..

                  I bought one 32" Sony LCD (EX300 ) 2 year back. At that time, while I was selecting SONY, In the showroom, different LCDs were available in range of 16,000 to 35,000. Since I don't want to compromise with quality, I selected the SONY, thought it have better quality and long life. It was working fine for 1 year. Gradually the picture quality was diminishing and the screen was covered by air bubbles. We called the Sony Service and the mechanics said that we needed to replace the picture panel and it would cost around Rs 12,000/- or more.

                  Is this the quality SONY offering to there customers?!!! The funny thing is along with me , one of my friend also bought an LCD with 16000 (Sansui or so) and that is working fine without any issue till date. I'm not understanding , why Sony is this much expensive, if they have no quality and life? How customers will believe you? Are yo thinking, if you add more actress as brand ambassador , all will buy your product??? To make things more frustrating, Customer Care is hopeless. I have called them several times, and they disconnect after keeping me on long hold.Feeling cheated that i invested so much money to buy a Sony product and got garbage. It would have been better if i bought cheap TV at least i would not have grudged the money for repairs.

                  We don't expect it to need such costly repairs in such a short time. Im requesting to SONY that, Please do the needful to rectify it .

                    Vide Invoice no. XM/1314/06/12/94785, I was delivered a [protected][protected] Sony Smart watch in the last week May 2013. Subsequent to this I went to the srvice centre at Sector 34, Chandigarh since it was not working. I was told to book online. I was told that someone would collect the watch from me from the address where it was delivered- C/o Balbir Singh, 3071, Sector 40-D (First Floor), Chandigarh - 160036. However noone turned up to collect the watch. I waited for some time and went again to the service center after a few days. I was told to get the bill. I produced the same. However since the bill did not carry a date, I was told by the Sector 34 service center that nothing can be done since the invoice did not have a date. I would like to caution people against purchase of this Sony product online since what they have done lacks ethics and is misleading. I will update you on the progress of my consumer forum complaint which is my next logical step since I have exhausted all other courses of redressal with both Sony Inc and Jabong.com.                       Hi, I bought my laptop few months back.When i checked my webcam on video chat , i found that it was giving very blurry picture.Even win 8 webcam application also gives same bad quality image.I complained to sony many times but they did not provide proper solution and ended up saying ,your model no. with windows 8 has this problem. Even they asked me to install third party software also, i did but no improvement. Lot of times, they don't even respond to the complaint. I have tried many times to get this issue resolved but i am tired now. Fix the issue within a week or just return my money i paid for this and take the laptop. laptop model no.                           Hi Team, This is to inform you that I had bought sony xperia z ulltra a few days back.It was working extremely fine till the day I took it out from my pocket and found there were cracks on the screen.I am cent percent sure the cracks have occured due to some manufacturing defects in the phone. I have been to the customer care centre a few times and they told me that it cannot be replaced as the defect has occured due to some physiacal damage. They are asking me for 50% of the cost of phone money to get it replaced I have also called customer care 2-3 times but all my efforts have been in vain. There is not even a single scratch on the phone.The phone is still brand new. I have heard a lot about your show "Pehredar", you have helped a lot of people in getting their problems solved.So I am very hopeful that you will not disappoint me too.                             We purchased TV in Dec 2011 with one year Warranty from M/s. Vijay Sales, Pune. Now in Sept 2013, Display Panel of this TV is damaged as it shows Blue, Yellow color. We logged a complaint with SONY Customer service (Request #[protected]. The Engineer checked and confirmed that all other circuits are perfectly working, but the problem in Display Panel "MADE IN CHINA". He has taken necessary details like Invoice copy, Model number details, vendor Bill and Warranty Card details. However, there is no response from SONY TV Service centre on the status of our complaint. SONY is a very reputed organization and we believe this type of manufacturing defects should be handled by SONY promptly and responsibility towards customers.

                              I purchased Sony Vaio laptop last year. Since, that onwards i am facing a lot of problems with the same. I visited many times to Sony service centre for the rectification of my problems but they did not give their best.My laptop track pad was changed, Windows got formatted six times and now keyboard is creating problems. In last month service centre had ordered for keyboard,till now it is not reached to its destination. Sony's service is very bad and i want them to replace my Laptop with a new one because without laptop i am unable to do my works.

                                  Dear sir, My new Sony Xperia Z Ultra costed Rs.45,000 purchased on 27th august,2013 has got its display damaged where I have given it for repair at an sony service center on 12th september 2013 Job No: W[protected] and ticket ID: [protected]. The service center says that they cannot repair my phone ,where as I need to pay Rs.23,000 more so that I would get a new Handset. Now when Sony cannot provide service for my phone.Why would I pay extra amount for a new handset when my phone has to be repaired by Sony under warranty.

                                    My SIM card was not getting detected so I handed over my Sony Xperia Mobile to accel service center at pune. While removing the SD Card they damaged my SD card as well as they blamed me that I didnt insert the SD card properly. Also for repairing the mobile they demanded rs. 4000. However my husband repaired it within 1 hour. It seems the Sony service centers just are here demand money but the damage they caused to my SD card for that they do not provide any compensation

                                      I am writing this email to express my grief and frustration regarding the support I have received from the Sony Service Centre (Dehra Doon). Just to let you know, ever since the time I purchased this Laptop (Model# SVE15113 enwin5) all I have had is Hastle, Difficulties, Troubles and Problems. This laptop started giving me troubles from the very first month. I purchased this laptop for Internet, Re-creation (Movies n Music) and sometimes to do some Office Work. I don’t use it for commercial purposes. This Laptop started acted weird, started freezing, running slow Post 2 months of purchase. I was so disappointed that I had now stopped using it as it was very slow and working on it was a real torture. It even added on to my frustration when the Keyboard started to malfunction. Now the system was of no good to me as had simply quit functioning. As the system was Inside warranty so I thought of getting this Fixed.

                                      NOW THE MAIN SUFFERING- THE LAPTOP WAS USELESS ; THE SERVICE WAS PATHETIC.

                                      I TOOK MY LAPTOP TO THE SERVICE CENTER ON 2nd AUGUST 2013. The TECH THERE DIAGONOSED THE PROBLEM AND CONFIRMED KEYBOARD FAILURE. THE TECH GAVE ME A JOB SHEET AND SAID THAT THE KEYBOARD WILL BE REPLACED AND THAT THE SYSTEM WILL BE FIXED WITHIN 7 TO 10 DAYS. HE ALSO TOLD ME THAT HE IS ORDERING THE PART NOW SO THAT THE SERVICE COULD BE MADE ASAP. I WAS OK WITH IT. I SOMETIMES USED THE LAPTOP TO COMPLETE MY OFFICE WORK. NOW I HAD INFORMED MY BOSS THAT I WONT BE ABLE TO WORK FROM HOME AS HAVE NO SYSTEM. HE UNDERSTOOD MY SITUATION AND HAD BEEN KIND AS IT WAS JUST A MATTER OF 7 DAYS.

                                      I HAD THIS IMPRESSION IN MIND THAT THIS WILL BE FIXED AND I WILL GET BACK A GOOD MACHINE. TODAY IT’S 11TH September 2013 AND I HAVENT HAD MY LAPTOP STILL. THE BEST ANSWER I GOT FROM THE TECH THERE IS- WE HAVENT RECEIVED THE PART (KEYBOARD) YET AND SO IT WAS NOT SERVICED OR TOUCHED EITHER. I TURNED FURIOUS BCOZ I HAD BEEN FOLLOWING UP ON THE STATUS OF THE REPAIR HOWEVER WAS GIVEN RUN AROUNDS, FAKE/FALSE COMMITMENTS. I DID SPEAK WITH THE CUST SERVICE ON (23rd AUGUST 2013) THE TOLL FREE# AND THEY ASSURED THAT THE KEYBOARD WILL BE REPLACED AND THE SYSTEM WILL BE FIXED AND RETURNED BY 26th AUGUST 2013.

                                      IT HAS ALMOST BEEN 41 DAYS AND THE BEST THING WAS THE PART WASN’T IN STOCK OR AVAILABLE. FORGET ABOUT THE SYSTEM, THE PART WASN’T STILL IN STOCK.

                                      I DID SPEAK WITH ONE OF THE SENIOR MEMBERS (VIKAS) AND HE CONFIRMED THAT THE PART WAS STILL NOT AVAILABLE AND SO THEY WERE UNABLE TO FIX IT. I HAVENT SEEN SUCH AN IMCOMPETENT N UNCAPABLE COMPANY AND STAFF LIKE SONY. WHERE THE HELL IS THE KEYBOARD COMING FROM. YOU HAVE ALREADY TAKEN 41 DAYS AND IT WASN’T AVAILABLE STILL.

                                      Vikas Apologised and confimred - As per the Sony policies n Guidelines, if the system does not get fixed in 30 days Sony issues an Exchange. He repeated this statement and also mentioned that the Laptop will be replaced in next 3-5 days. I was a Ok with the Laptop being Exchanges as it had given multiple troubles...It has issues with the Battery, Hard Drive and Keyboard. So I decide to give then a weeks time so that I get a New Machine and that will give me a peace of mind.

                                      WHY WAS I PROVIDED INCORRECT AND FALSE INFORMATION ?
                                      WHY WERE FALSE PROMISES OR COMMITMENTS MADE ?

                                      TODAY I LITERALLY SHOUTED AS I HAVE LOTS OF OFFICIAL PENDING WORK. EVERY WEEKENDS I HAD TO BORROW A LAPTOP FROM A FRIEND TO COMPLETE MY WORK.

                                      I SERIOUSLY NEED A COMPENSATION NOW. THE WORST THING THAT HAPPENED WAS- NO ONE AT THE SERVICE CENTER BOTHERED TO INFORM OR COMMUNICATE THAT THE PART WAS OUT OF STOCK AND THIS WILL TAKE SOME TIME TO GET REPAIRED. DESPITES ME FOLLOWING UP ON 32 OCCASIONS, YOUR STAFF FAILED TO FULFILL THEIR OWN PROMISES.

                                      VIKAS RE-ASSURED ME THAT IF THE LAPTOP DOES NOT GET FIXED BY 1ST SEPTEMBER 2013, HE WILL GIVE ME AN EXCHANGE. I EXPECT HIM TO KEEP UP TO HIS WORDS.

                                      Yesterday I spoke with VIKAS AND HIS ASI PRADIP KUMAR (WHO WAS WELL AWARE OF THE COMPLETE SITUATION), THEY BOTH INITIALLY PROMISED AN EXCHANGE HOWEVER DENIED YESTERDAY. SAID THAT IT WAS SONY WHO WILL DECIDE WHETEHER TO ISSUE AN EXCHANGE OR NOT. SAID THAT THEY WILL NOT REPLACE IT, INSTEAD REPAIR IT. They both said that they did RAISE A REQUEST HOWEVER IT WAS NOT ACCEPTED.

                                      MY FINAL CONCERN HERE IS- IF THEY WERE NOT SURE WHETHER AN EXCHANGE WILL BE AUTHORISED OR NOT , HOW CAN THEY FOOL OR MISGUIDE SOMEONE MORE THAN 20 TIMES THAT I WILL BE ISSUED AN EXCHANGE.

                                      NEITHER OF THEM COMMUNICATED ONCE THAT THE EXCHANGE WAS UNSURE. INSTEAD THEY KEPT ON GIVING A RUN AROUND.

                                      I NOW NEED A COMPENSATION OF ALL THE CALLS MADE TO THESE WHO DONT KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING. I ALSO WANT AN EXCHANGE AND NOT THE DEAD SYSTEM WHICH WAS GIVING PROBLEMS SINCE THE BEGINNING.

                                      I HAVE NOW COMPLETELY LOST FAITH IN YOUR COMPANY AND PRODUCTS. I GUARANTEE YOU THAT I WILL NEVER EVER RECOMMEND YOUR PRODUCTS TO ANY OF MY FRIENDS RELATIVES OR EVEN ENEMIES.

                                        Hi, I purchased a sony led 32" w670a from sony center infantry road bangalore. It has been 4 days now the installation guy has never turned up. Infact he calls me and gives useless excuses when i really got frustrated and told him nt to come he simply tells OK and hangs up the phone . Now I am totally against buying any sony products amf also I want to return back the tv and go for another brand
