SONY VAIO LAPTOP — not working from the first start and dealer ignored to change the piece

I have bought a sony viao laptop on 21st may 2010 from mt first stard at home its not working dealer said it to be a hardware issue
In the first start Its rediculous its not working
when I asked to change my piece of laptop dealer ignored to do the so
I am feeling like I have wasted my 40000 bugs
However I talked with sony customer care they said Its not necessary that we will change the piece of it first we will look to the thing
But the behaviour from the company like Sony is not at all expected
Pls help me getting my piece changed
I bought It from " laptech, chinchawad-pimpari,Pune ,Maharashtra"
The service center I will be visiting is "Chaitanya electronics ,pimpari,Pune Maharashtra"

    I have purchased new sony laptop model number SVF15212SNW on 12th Juy 2013. Within in 1 month it has started giving me charging problem. On charging point on , it works, while on switching off charging point, it doesn't work. Kindly guide me how to make it working, as your service centre is telling me,that might be motherboard is notworking and has to be changed. WHY SUCH A PROBLEM IN NEW LAPTOP, WITHIN ONE MONTH. WHY SHOULD NOW I PAY FOR MOTHERBOARD ! SONY VAIO, SUCH A TRUSTED BRAND , WHY HASN'T BEEN STaTISFACTORY !

    Sony VAIO — hard disk failure two times in 8 months

    hard disk failure two times in 8-9 months ,bad parts in my vaio laptop who will guarantee me that this will not happen again when i will go out of warantee!!

      but today i feel some problem in Charging and when i went to sony service centre they refused to repair Charging socket

      they refused to repair and return back devices and told me its not repairable

      i m so surprised that when we are using Sony Brand for good services and honesty

      now plz tell me what we can do

      can we going to Consumer Court for that

        i have purchased sony xperia p for 21000rs on November 2012 in near by mobile shop where i have been informed that its an original peace with one year warrenty. I was having a technical difficulty with the mobile so for repairing i have taken to sony service center. where i have been told that its not an Indian peace but some other country peace which has been sold to me. When i questioned him he told me he would do any repair for free but now after giving the mobile for repair he is demanding 8000rs for giving the mobile back

          Sir,
          Being a regular customer of sony we used to trust your brand's products.
          Kindly Pay Attention to my issue with Laptop.
          I am owing a Sony Vaio with model number SVE14A15FNH and Serial Number 939.
          It was bought on[protected] and Since then i have not seen even a single day without problem. I have a 2 year extended warranty with this laptop and there are few major issues that are mentioned below
          1. Screen Distortion:- Screen gets distorted and becomes like a old black and white television without cable connection with unbearable Sound.
          2.During this distortion when the power supply gets unplugged then the laptop gets dead and even if the power supply is not connected and the problem occurs then connecting the charger cause the same dead condition.
          3.Many time i have taken it to sony service center and they just make fool o[censored]s all the time.They keep the laptop for even 10-15 days and when i get it back the problem persist.Being a Proffessional i can not afford such kind of problems with my laptop and even i do not expect such cheap servive and product from Sony itself.
          4. PFA some screen shots of Screen problem and also the job sheet of the service centers on which this laptop has been taken to since i had bought this technical junk.
          5.I expect a positive response from your side regarding this concern.Either you provide a genuine solution or replace my laptop otherwise i will not be responsible for the steps taken against your company.

            i have sony xperia tipo mobile(IN WARRANTY),it become hang out & touch problem and i submitted it to sony centre at Barasat on 20th july,they replied me that you will recieve it within 10days,then after they told me that we have change the parts of it and also company has no other xperia tipo to give you. so they told me that you will recieve your handset repaired within three days but ther are manipulating me and still on 1 month they are not repairing my phone in 4 months. they told the mobile PCB board damage in liquide(fault by me). but this fault is never gonna by me, so plz plz plz help me..........

              Dear Sir,

              It is with great grief I inform you that I had a very bad experience with Sony Mobile Phone. I purchased Sony Xperia from Sony Center, Hyderabad on[protected] and sorry to inform that on the next day itself I found that the charger was defective and not functioning. I had to rush to the showroom and with great difficulty I got a replacement.

              For the last one month, the volume control key in the mobile is not functioning. Further, the head set provided with the mobile is also not functioning.

              I visited Sony website for finding location of service centres at Secunderabad. But, sorry to mention that the information available in website is not update and absolutely wrong. Somehow, I could locate service centre at Secunderabad and approached them on[protected] and informed about the said problems and handed over the mobile and head set.

              It is not out of place to mention that the staff available (barely 2 persons) at the service centre are not at all upto the mark / un-professional and are not cooperative. However, they accepted the defective mobile phone and head set and made me wait for two hours and thereafter asked me to come on[protected] for taking delivery of the mobile and headset.

              But, sorry to mention that on[protected], they informed that there is a major problem with the mobile and the mother board is to be replaced and it takes atleast 15 days time which looks ridiculous and not acceptable to me under any circumstances.

              I am facing lot of inconvenience without any fault on my side with the defective mobile (manufacturing defect) purchased from Sony Center. I believe that you will understand my genuine problem and will resolve the issue favourably at the earliest. I furnish the details of my mobile as follows:

                What I want to register here is, how i got treated in Sony world, Chetpet, Chennai, India.

                It was the worst experience ever.
                There was a fellow, who is short and wearing prange t-shirt whos is one of the main guy in the showroom, who kept commenting about us when we were using the demo phone.
                And he was totally misbehaving, like asking not do this, not do that, he didn't even answered my questions about the phone, all he was doing is insulting us with the looks and murmurings. Later when i enquire about the price suddenly another huge bodyguard kind of guy who is the other main guy in the showroom came in and literally shouted me in front of other ppl for asking if any discounts is possible.
                And i got busted and started yelling back and the short guy without any concern that its a showroom, replied like the showroom is for sales not just live demo, blaa blaa .. And really i was there for purchase only. I gave back in nice words and left the place.

                The live demo feature is for the customers to feel the product, nothing is going to cost the company than a best free add. Since there employers of Sony world Chetpet, didn't get commission or their store didn't do well, they are treating the customers without any respect.

                In-fact i purchased a Sony ZR mobile in online, after this incident i hate to go to any store. But definitely next time when i was about to puechase any Sony product i will reconsider to not to because of their poor maintenance & customer service.

                I will never enter Sony world again in my life & worries me this is how Sony treats his customers.

                I request a proper action taken against the humiliation i encountered due the Sony world's employees.

                  Hi,
                  My name is Vinay Patni, a resident of New Delhi India purchased a laptop from Croma Store (Serial Number – [protected]) on 19th September 2012. I was happy to buy one of the most prestigious products as it belonged to Sony however sooner or later it came out as one of the most serious mistakes I committed as since the day I bought my laptop I am unable to feel the goodness of the product.
                  Initially, I had issues with the battery backup of my laptop as fully charged battery also gave a productivity of only 45 mins to an hour only wherein it should have been around more than 2 hours. I took the issue to the service centre wherein they kept my laptop for 4 days and said there is no issue as we have checked it completely. Please check now as battery wont be a issue anymore. I took it home and started using it however came across a new issue wherein my laptop was getting shutdown in middle of any work I was doing on it along with the same battery issue I had initially.

                  I took it again to the workshop and they said it might be the issue with the windows you are using so clear the data and give it to us so that we can check. I ask them not to format the D drive and keep the laptop and repair it for me but they denied.

                  After a day or two I thought I should consult a technician in my office so I brought the laptop to my office and gave it to the technician to check the issue, now believe you me the laptop was not even getting switched on which gave a real shock as I have hardly used this laptop and it is giving me so many troubles.
                  It is my humble request to pay attention in this regards as your service centre is not able to help me at all and I am not able to use my 35000 rs spent on my laptop.

                  Please assign a technician or replace the faulty part so that I can use the product as it is meant.

                    It is just 2 years 6 Months back i buy sony lcd tv KLV-32BX300 from khosla electronics (Dalhoisie,Kolkata). But recently i found the my screen divided two part down portion is some greyish color and upper portion is normal and some portion of lcd became rough no transportation or accidental damage it is may be lcd panel had some manufacture defect as per sony service centre people after inspect.
                    I called up sony customer care he told me it is lcd panel manufacture fault need replacement that cost around 14000 (My TV cost was 33000).I ask him what is other option he told me take exchange offer from Sony. Then i ask what if same problem occurred again he told hopefully sony already resolved this problem.
                    Now my question is as a Sony loyal customer (my previous Sony TV still in working condition aged 18 years old and only two servicing done), what is sony main business aim now put customer into trap that buy lcd with high cost then after 2 years it is panel life is gone then again claim huge money to repair this.In that time no extended warranty support provision not present but I can do now one 33000 tv only last for 2 years 6 months.
                    I will request to all people please think again and again before buy sony tv because first sony tv costlier than its competitor, second it is life only 2 years 6 month after that again you have to pay almost half price to repair it and this cycle goes on lifetime.
                    According to manufacturers, a TV has a lifespan of approximately 40,000 to 60,000 hours (continuous use), representing between 4 and 10 years (active use). Of course, this remains theoretical.
                    My Watching time : 7000(700x10) only what is Sony explanation on this .
                    Why Sony try to fool us,I want my lcd should fixed with nominal cost as it was manufacturing defect.

                    Sony has successfully change my LCD panel free of cost.and the picture quality never seen before.
                    Hats off to sony.
                    I suggest whenever i will buy TV it would be SONY.

                    My new XperiaXZ is in service centre from last 8 days which I purchased on 14th March for Rs. 39, 200/-
                    1.camera heats while video recording within a minutes and shuts down.
                    2.Camera clarity is cheap like VGA camera. 3. Phone lags when starts Internet and all messages comes at one time.
                    4.Phone Restarts several times.
                    I got Defective mobile And service centre Manager says phone is ok.After few minutes he said it's Software issue and solved once software patch.They updated software and said in future you will not get any issue and returned me phone within 1 hour.On second day phone again started giving me problems.Then on 21St March I submitted phone is Sony service center now it's 8 days There is no call from Service centre regarding status update. it's manufacturing defect.but Sony has a Worst Service, I want my money Back.

                      Product: Sony Xperia Tablet Z
                      Cost: Rs. 42740
                      This tablet is supposed to be water resistant upto 1m for 30 min as the company claims. I tried to test it by dipping it in water. The water was very less and it was inside for less than 1 min. It turned off by itself so I took it out and tried to switch it on but I couldn't.
                      There are flaps at every opening to prevent the water from entering and indicators under every flap which turn red on coming in contact with water. These flaps were properly closed when I put it in water. When I took it out of the water, 1 indicator had turned red. The water must have entered through defective flaps.
                      When I took it to the service center they said that the warranty is void because of the water damage and I will have to pay 50% of the price for replacement. They don't want to believe me that the flaps were closed at that time and the water went in because the device is defective. They gave it back to me after 3-4 days without even trying to repair it. When I examined it, 1 more indicator was red and water was coming out of it. But I had given it to the service center after drying all the water. They must have checked it by putting it in water.
                      I contacted Sony care and they said the same thing that the warranty is not valid in this case. This is a manufacturing defect but they don't want to accept it.
                      I searched online and saw that many customers faced the same problems and Sony had either given them a replacement or full refund. I want the same for myself.

                        i had some issues of backlit not turning off and mouse stucks AT ITS place for some with my VAIO.But now since i bought my laptop back from service centre at lucknow:Aditya Infosys .Backlit issue was solved but mouse stucks more frequently now and sometimes its button aren't working.They format my complete laptops alongwith all partition.I wasn't ASKED TO BACKUP MY DATA.NO INSTRUCTION WERE GIVEN THAT WHICH DRIVE DATA WAS TO BE BACKED UP.As of now i had lost all my data.I asked them to make partitions they talked rudely about this and started fighting and shouting.No jobsheet receipt received .I dont want to submit my laptop in that service centre again .Plz assist what should i do.

                          Sir i really regret that i purchased a laptop of sony
                          Being purchased a new laptop having a problem of OS
                          For which i have to run all d time to service center.
                          My laptop being purchased in 2/5/2013 sir i first had a
                          problem with a display and that was fixed sir after that
                          On regular basis my laptop is with ur service station only
                          N on last many occasion ur service station ppl didnt provide
                          Me with job sheet no.
                          When asked for a replacement ur ppl say sir its a software issue plz
                          Talk to microsoft for that.. Sony is nt responcible .
                          Sir ur service center ppl are using my laptop for past
                          2 months n also have nt provided me with job sheet no.
                          Sir i dnt trust them nw at all i wnt a replacement with my
                          Full warranty.
                          I purchased it for my use but it is mostly used bh ur service center ppl.
                          I have also registered a complain abt it with the sony team
                          Bt their was no reply all the time i have to call them n all.

                          I just want a fast n strick action n replacement of laptop with

                            Complaint Description:

                            This is the third time I am posting complaint regarding my Sony Xperia J. Neither Sony nor Croma Retails store taking my complaint seriously. I am being made fool by both the parties. When I post a complaint against them they will call that day only and say that they are looking into the matter. After that neither croma nor sony entertain the problem. I visited croma retails store, R-City Mall, Ghatkopar(West), Mumbai once again and no one there is ready to take any responsibilty to help me with my problem.I am fed up the with services provided by both the parties. They just know how to sale their products. Customer satisfaction is not even their motto. It is just to say. I called Croma Customer Care also but they just wrote down the complaint and gave me the number but no further proceeding to the complaint.

                            The complaint description is as follows:

                            I bought a new Sony Xperia J handset from Croma Retail Stores, R-City Mall, Ghatkopar (West) Mumbai on 29th March, 2013. The IMEI number of my mobile is [protected]
                            From last 2 months I am facing performance issues and issue with mic with my mobile.I visited the authorized Sony Service Centre in Platinum mall, Ghatkopar (East), Mumbai. They did some repair but it was all in vain. The problem with my mobile persists as it is.

                            On 13th July,2013 I again visited the service centre at above stated address on behlaf of the Mumbai region head(Sony Service Centre) Ashish Parekh and got my mobile back on 16th July, 2013. But still its not working. when I tried to reach the higher offcials through customer care they refused to link me with them on line and said service centre people will help you on this. When I contcated service centre they said we can't do anything and customer care execuitives can help u on this. There is no single stand of both the departments for same thing. Its becoming very difficult now and I am getting mentally harassed by both the parties.

                              This is to bring to your notice about the pathetic Quality of your Mobile product. I had recently brought Sony – Neo-L , ( details given below) , which started giving problem from 2nd day onwards. Initially thought that it was due to some software error , immediately sought help from on line. As directed the software was done , but my problem of Display flicker & hang still persisted.
                              As I was on tour & had no time , the same got delay in submitting the product at your Authorized service centre at Mumbai Central.( DIGI COMP solution) . Service centre personnel was shown the Nature of problem faced by me which was recorded in my friends mobile. Having assured that they would look into the same & would re-do the software & check , but till date no one has bothered to call up & update the status.
                              IT was when I personally called up yesterday ( 17th July ) got updated that the software part is done & the Mobile is functioning well. Being troubled by many hang-ups & flicker , I Lost many Business calls & I made it clear while submitting the Mobile that ,in no way I would take the piece back – I need replacement .
                              Today Customer pays a Premium to Own a Branded Product since it has become a symbol of STATUS. Having sparingly used if such Quality Product like – Sony gives trouble with in a Span of Just One Month ,customer tend to loose faith in your Brand .
                              Hope to get justice by way of Replacement of the product without any further delay ,failing which I have No other option ,but to seek re-dress legally.

                                Dear Sir,
                                I purchased Sony Xperia Z mobile on 1st April, 2013 from Vasundhara Mobile shop Indore. This mobile touch panel was suddenly broken in my trouser’s pocket without any injury and impact on 26th May, 2013.
                                Immediately after broken touch panel I contacted to Sony designated service center in Indore. They replied that this is physical damaged and repairing charges would be more than INR 20000 (more than 50% cost of mobile). This was quite surprising in view of high repairing cost (In other companies mobile touch repair costing are within 10% of total cost of mobile).
                                I contacted Sony customer care by phone and their designated email address several time. They asked service job sheet no. So I finally submitted mobile phone to Sony designated service center in Indore MP (Accel Frontline Ltd. Indore). Sony service center wanted advance deposit of INR 10000 before taking mobile phone. I deposited phone on 28th June 2013 with advance INR 10000 and informed Sony Mobile India Ltd. by their designated email address. My service job sheet no. is W[protected] and rupees 10000 advance receipt no. is AFL/13-14/501. Service center assured me that repaired phone will be delivered in two or three working days.
                                Since more than 20 days I haven’t received my phone. I asked several time to both service center and customer care. They have no idea about repair time. Yesterday I spoken to customer care and they replied that our service center in Indore have some issue with our account and not deposited the money hence your phone delivery may be after another fifteen days.
                                I am frustrated with the Sony mobile India and their franchise service center. First of all they claimed that their phone Xperia Z phone is durable and water and dust proof. How this phone touch panel is broken itself in trouser’s pocket? Is this phone having faulty or fragile touch panel? Why is costing of touch panel is so high almost 60% cost of mobile phone price. Why are not they mentioning the cost of repairing when consumer selects their product? Why the advance deposit of rupees 10000 required before the replacement of touch screen. Why they are not delivered the phone in time.
                                Kindly help on this matter.

                                mobile — delay to repaired

                                I had taken sasmung handset having model no. GT-S5620DKAINS. Purchase date:- 13/05/2010. Its cercuit got failed and switch-off. Before 16 to 17 days I had given it to service center at BHUJ. till, now it is not solved.                                     Service — software not working properly

                                    my software is not working properly i make seweral complaints to locol body mr. navin agrawal. Mr.Usman at allahabad, Mr.ravi at Lucknow and your Costomer care No [protected] and[protected] regarding my complaints. but they couldnot remove my problem My problem is that if I makle any type transection or any enquiry through my terminal Icul'nt make another transection or enquiry without logout my terminal.Icould not login again without delite my kookies and files from Intrnet Explorer regarding thees problem I contact to mr.                                     Sony — MOBILE NOT WORKING

                                    Dear Concern,

                                    We had purchased Sony Ericcssion Mobile (Model number W910i) on 15th june 2009 for Rs. 12, 800. Within one week phone is dead (not functioning), we had submitted the mobile to service centre at the below address.

                                    They accepted that the peice is defective & a problem exist in its software, the piece was worked on by them for 3 days and handed over to me.
                                    However in the very next day again the same problem accured; and again we had supmitted to the same service center.

                                    They told us now there is a problem in motherboard, we will send it to our other service center and replace the mother board. For this process this will take minimum 15 days and maximum 20 days.

                                    The details of my work order at the service center as following:-
                                    Work Order No: SE309SAP10189 Date: 11th July

                                    But there is no response from their side, whenever we go to the service center or call them they are informing us work is under process, then i called your customer care center and lodge the complaint regarding this on 31st july 2009. They promised me with in two days we will provide you the status.

                                    Today i called up and asked about the status they are also saying the same it is under process.(already more than 20 days have passed since i first submitted the handset at the service center)

                                    We had used the handset for one week only, within one week we faced the problem both in software as well as in hardware.

                                    I request you to forward the same to your higher authority in your office and get them to resolve the issue on priority otherwise i have to take this matter to consumer court.

                                    I am Appalled at the level of customers service provided by the service centers, request you immediate intervention in this matter.

                                    We need the replacement of hand set.

                                    Sony — customer care service

                                    This is my duty to inform that I 'sanjay narang' purchased a Sony TV from preet vihar show room, invoice number-19016, model number- KLB221550A on 21.09.2010. The television is not working properly since a long time. The 1st complain was registered on 27.6.2011 where as the 2nd on 19.7.2011 but since now no customer care representative has come to check the television. The television is still in warranty period.
                                    I hereby hope that soon a step will be taken for the same.

                                    Just a call from your side 2 days ago and no response still yet after saying we will call back you in few mins. Do I need to send a legal notice to you people to wake you up?? I am fed up of your service. Won't recommend anyone to buy sony phones ever.
                                    My new Sony experia z having led notification light problem... It showing green light continues on even there is no message calls, mails ect... Please help me out, im irritate of this..

                                      I am Shyama and i purchased Sony Vaio laptop on 29th June 2012, Model no. is SVE15113ENB IN5 & serial no.7021207, on 27th June 2013 i went to Sony Authorized Service Center, Pradhan Tower , 5 Main Road, Jharkhand, Ranchi-834001. My laptop has very small(normal) hinch problem my job no. is J31118473 , which i thought because my laptop is in warranty period i make it corrected. But in the evening of the same day they call me and said that i have to pay Rs 5000.00(Five thousand Rupees) for the change. I said no, i don't want to change please give me my laptop. When he gave it to me i opened it before him , the one of the two clip was broken by him. When i said what u did . He started laughing and said while opening the system these things will happen.
                                      He did not solved my problem within the warranty period but make it large. I had made a complaint to Sony care by E-mail on 15th July 2013 . But they did not taken necessary action .
                                      Please resove my above problem as soon as possible and reply me.
