Sir, I have purchased Mobile Phone (Sony Ericssion Xperia Mini Pro Sk17i), From Mobile Bazar, Mhow, Indore (M.P.) on 19 Dec 2011.
My Phone has been gone defective on 30-July-2012 I submitted my mobile phone to GTB Services, E-17, Gound Floor, Near Rama Palace, Central market Lajpat Nagar-2, Contact No. [protected] (Sony Authorised service centre) vide work order No. SE[protected] dated: 05 Aug 2012.

Service centre returned my Mobile on 17 Aug 2012 after repairing, but there was slightly sense problem in screen touch pad. Representative of GTB Services said to me it will work smoothly after some time.


My Mobile phone's screen touch Sensitivity gone fully defective on 19 Aug 2012.

I have deposited my phone on same service centre on 25 Aug 2012 vide Work order No. SE[protected] dated 25 Aug 2012. After deposite of my phone, service centre representative said to me it will be repaired within 5 days. After 5 days i made call to Service Centre, Service centre phone ringing but nobody responded.
On 1 Sept 2012 i went to Service centre, The Representative said to me that we will repair your mobile within 2 days.

On 3 Aug 2012 i repeated the call to Service Centre, The representative said me that Screen touch is unavailable with service centre, it can be available after few days.

On same day 03 Aug 2012 i made a call to Sony's Customer Care and lauched a complaint againt Service Centre statement, Customer care registered my complaint with the Complaint No. SES[protected] and give me a Ticket Id for prereference on next call 93566429. Customer care stated that your complaint will be settled within 3 days.

After 3 days i contacted to same Service Centre for status my phone, they stated that due to unavailablity of part we are unable to repair it. It will take time.

I have contacted to Customer care many time about this matter, but they also stated that wait for 2-3 days.

On 13 Aug i went to Service centre, but they give me contact No. of Mr. Mohit i.e.[protected] to discuss this problem. i have discussed my problem with him and he stated that wait upto 17th Aug 2012, It will be repaired.

Today on 18 Aug i have contacted to Mr. Mohit he stated that wait for 4 to 5 days, we will try to repair it.


Sir , I feel so harrassed from Service Centre, and Customer care of Sony. Without my phone my relatives are unable to contact me. I want to get my phone as soon as possible in good condition, If it is not repairable then order to Sony to give me a Same New handset.

    As i have submitted my brand new mobile SONY ERICSSON NEO V at one of your service center at sector-47C Rai & sons SCO-60,on 29th of august 2012 as they told me that there is a on off problem in the set and its mother board has to be changed and today its 17th of september 2012 almost 20 days are gone but till date i have not received my mobile as the service center people told me that i will receive my mobile with in a week and more over now when i am asking them that how much time more it will take they are not telling me any thing so i request you to please take care of this metter very seriously and if there is some other problem than issue me a brand NEW set of NEO-V or else i have to give this complaint in consumer court as i am facing a lot more problems with out my mobile.so i once again request you to respond to this complaint earliest possible. the WORK ORDER NO IS -SE[protected].

    sonyericsson — long delay for repaired my mobile phone

    i have purchased a sony ericsson z555 mobile but after 2 months my mobile suffering from many problems then i went to service center for repair my mobile .there is a probleme in some buttons of keypad but they take lot of time to repair my mobile .1.5month have passed but still they have not repaired my cell phone. and when they give me my mobile phone after repair it i use my mobile for 2 weeks only and then after my mobile suffer same probleme of sound and also others probleme.i am wasted my lots of money in calling service center and c care but no response was shown .At this time i donot have a mobile phone .My mobile was is in service center.i am request naveen sir [manager of service center]to give me another mobile for stand by but they ignore my request .sir/madam please take some steps against service center and help me in this issue and also reply for ans. that why they donot give mobile for stand by .all the co. service center provide this service to their costumers.i am facing probleme in past time also.so sir/madam contact with service center for giving me another mobile for standby .i am register my complaint with my name mayank and model no. of my mobile is z555 in service center and also register in c care.........

    I gave my Sony Ericsson mobile Xperia Mini Pro for service on Aug 20 2012 in Vimas Intek, Anna Nagar, Chennai (Work order#SE312VK113281), regarding Touch not working very slow and GPRS connection problem almost 55 Complete, but still now i am not get back my mobile phone. Really i am not expect from Sony for this kind very very veryyyyy service and customer satisfactions. Here after seriously i will not buy any Sony product for this kind of worst service.

      Purchased Sony Bravia LED TV EX420 on[protected] but after 14months the background colour went red. Called Sony complaint centre and a service engg. told that the Main PCB needs to be changed, the cost of which is Rs. 7500=00. But when I said that what will be warranty after changing the said PCB, he said that there is no warranty for the same. I understand that the Sony LED TV has some basic technical problem which the company is overlooking and selling the product without bothering about the company's reputation. I had chosen the product by brand image but with this episode I would advice everyone not to buy SONY LED TV. As even if part is changed there is no guaranty that in near future the set would work properly. FOR GOD SAKE DO NOT BUY SONY LED TV SETS.

      I think this is a real problem. It has occured in my 40 inch LED KDL EX 520 TV also. Somehow Sony is losing the name. I do not have other option than to replace the PCB means 7500 plus their charges and service tax. It means CRT is still reliable item than LCD/LED.

      in I'm also facing the same problem in my Sony tv Whose model is KDL 32EX420. The background color has changed to red and the pictures are appearing like oil painting. I purchased it November 2011. I don't know how much it will cost me to repair the tv. Plus their service charges and visiting charges are too much..around 800.

        Sony Ericsson — Keypad Problem in mobile

        i have a Sony Ercsson mobile from last 2 years, last month 27 july 10, I have given it to Jodhpur service centre of Sony for keypad change but every time I called them they have same answer it will take 1 week more, how much i wait for them when it's almost a month and because od this i have to take new mobile. I am telling all the persons who read that please please dont ever take mobile or products of Sony because service quality is extreamly unsatisfied.

            I have given my Sony Ericsson Xperia Mini Pro for repair via Work Order number SE312PCA11982, on 23rd August 2012 and today it is 21days and when I call the call center or Ambe electronics where I gave my phone for repair, no one has idea about the repair status of my phone. Ambe has not received the part from Sony because of which they have not been able to repair it. But Sony customer care representative also does know what is the status of part. Kindly provide an update or deadline by when can I expect my set to be delivered to me.

              I have submitted my Sony Ericsson (Xperia) handset to the Ambe Electronics (Authorized Service Centre) noida for repairing. Although its in warranty period & at the time of submission they replied me that you can collect your handset in 7 days. But its now around 13 days from the date of submission & they are still saying that we need more time to repair the handset as the parts are not available. I haven't seen such a poor service from any company till now. Please help me in getting my phone repaired.

                Home Theatre — Very Very Bad Service & Incompetent Service Person

                Dear Sir,
                I had purchased this SONY Home theatre (Model No DAV-DZ120K)of mine couple of years back, And it worked fine for intial one year. After that I am repairing it once in every three months, there is one problem or other, . I dont know whether the service center (Plasma Vision -Goregoan, Mumbai, India ) is not able to repair it properly & fleecing me the service charges bill of minimum Rs 1250 every time, or the quality of the product is bad, Also the service persons employed by the service center dont look competent enough to handle the repairs of reputed Sony product.
                Kindly look into this matter on an urgent basis before I & like me many more feel they have made a mistake by purchasing a SONY product.

                Home Theatre — Poor Service

                I am residing in chennai. My friend has send me a courier from delhi on 23-3-09, the courier is supposed to reach here in three days. Tried tracking the consignment over the net, but could not get any information. Tried tracking with the chennai office and the local office, but even they were not helping me out in this. I have registered complaint in the company website, but did not get any reply yet. Today is the fourth of april and i have not yet recieved the consignment yet. The website is showing that the consignment has rached chennai on 28th and the consignmnet is not yet delivered.

                i have to get one parcel of home theatre from HP computers
                they have dispatched[protected] it to hyderabad branch on may 24,
                they have send it to vijayada branch but yet the product way not delivered to me.

                  I have given my phone sony ericsson xperia model name (SK17i) for repair as touch screen is not working . I deposited my cell on august 17 2012 with work order number (SE[protected]) to GTB Services E-17 Ground Floor Central Market Lajpat Nagar- 2. Phone is under warranty, els status is ok.
                  Till date i have visited the place n numbers of time for cell but people are making excuses for delay with assurance of being repaired tomorrow.
                  service centre people said sir it w'll be repaired after two days definitely, then after two days says it will be done after 3 days .
                  Today 28days have been passed but phone is still there. As warrenty period of my phone is going to to be finished so i can't take out the cell unrepaired and give it to other centre .

                  please take immediate action so that i can use my phone again as soon as possible.

                  SonyEricsson Mobile phone set — delay in service

                  I have a SonyEricsson mobile phone handset. The speaker of the mobile phone handset went faulty and since it is in warranty period, I approached the nearest Sony Ericsson Authorised Service Centre, that is Sri Maruthi Solutions, Peelamedu, Combatore, Tamil Nadu. After diagnosing they told the speaker had to be replaced and it would take one week. I gave the mobile phone handset for repair and got the receipt no. 4363 dated 28.01.10. But till today (09.02.10) nothing happened. On query I keep getting the reply as "spare speaker yet to be received". Though I own a 3G mobile set, I am deprived o[censored]sing it due to improper service.

                  Hi Team,

                  Myself Ajay Gupta living in Janakpuri New Delhi. I have purchased a Sony Ericssion mobile C903 (Cybershot) form Hotspot, District Centre, Janakpri, New Delhi on[protected]. After using 2-3 weeks the loudspeaker of the phone was not working. As the mobile is in warrenty period so i gone to the sony ericssion service centre i.e. RT Outsourcing Services Pvt LTd. which is in Suneja Tower -2, District Centre, Janakpuri, New Delhi on[protected]. They have taken the mobile and given me the receipt and told me that i will going to be repaired in 1 week. After 1 week when i called to check the status of the phone, they told that the phone has not been repaired and it will take another 1 week. Again when i called them they are tellling that i will again take another 8-10 days as the device is out of stock.
                  I am totally fed up with the services they are providing. If this is the services they are providing how can a comman man trust such a brand.

                  my sony ericsson hazel (j20i) had a trouble in its loudspeaker, brought it to the sony ericsson care, kfc basement, sector 18 noida, and i have told that it will take 10- 15 days, but its almost a month past and they are still telling that part is unavailable come after a week or later. Am i a fool or something or they are making me fool?

                  I have given my mobile to service center more than 2 months ago. Each time I call customer care, I get standard reply that "Part is being shipped, call back after 4-6 days for status". I fail to understand from where its being shipped that its taking more than 2 months to receive.

                    Hi My name is Atul Kumar Sona. I made a complaint to M/s Fortune, sony service center situated in baradwari, jamshedpur on 5th September 2012 for a problem I was facing with my TV. My complain number was 1171831. These guys said, somebody will visit my home or will call me in 48 hours. Its 12th September 2012 today and till now nobody came or called me. I have called Sony helpline so many times and they just speak whatever is written on their computer screen i.e. my apologizes and we understand your problem or i have ordered for your part but wrong part was come so i once again placed your order. Today when I called them, they straight away said they want some more days. So I just want to tell people, whosoever wants to buy Sony product in future - please be aware they nobody will respond to your problems or concerns if you have in future for any sony product you will buy.

                      Very very poor service form Sony, I bought sony home theatre on 24th Aug and after a week only technical problem arises . I took it to the Sony Authorized Service Centre the technician told me it will take maximum a day now 12 days has passed but there's no response from their side. They have no idea about my product. I called customer care almost 4-5 times and got the same reply we will inform you in 48 hours.
                      Its very painful to face such a problem after paying such a huge amount.

                        This is to inform u that I have purchased a sony vaio laptop model No.SONYVAIO SVE14112ENB IN5 serial No.7005252 and also two years extended warranty from Contec Systems,G-5,Ground floor,Red rose building,49-50,Nehru place,New delhi-110019 on July 15, 2012. They assured me while selling the laptop that i will receive the warranty card within a week by email.But i have not received any mail regarding this.When i contacted them first time they told me to wait for some days,Now when i am calling them for this problem they are not talking to me in a gentle way and are giving me assurance that they have sent all the documents alongwith the filled up forms to sonyindia but they did not receive the extended warranty from sonyindia till date.

                        I purchased a laptop from sony last year on 25th oct 2011 and now today on 25th oct 2012 they are denying to extend its warranty by saying that its warranty period is expired.
                        serial no.: 7005967
                        and in terms of warranty it is mentioned that its warranty period one year from date of purchase.
                        I had given for the extension of warranty of my laptop in january but till now i didnot get it.
                        Those who deposited in march their warranty is coming within 2 weeks but where is mine.
                        If sony is doing online warranty by some mediator then make us pay through online and send a slip with warranty card in our gmail/yahoo account.
                        Where is 1st come 1st basis?
                        Whether the mediators are corrupted or playing closing there eyes with warranty papers.

THE PRODUCT WAS BROUGHT TO SERVICE CENTER AT DELHI FOR REPAIR BUT SERVICE CENTER IS DEMANDING RS 12000/ FOR ITS REPAIR. THE SERVICE CENTER IS CLAIMING THE PROBLEM HAS ARISEN DUE TO ACCIDENT. IN FACT ACCIDENT NEVER OCCURRED. THE COMPANY IS SELFISH AND FRAUD AND DESERVES SUITABLE PUNISHMENT. SANTOSH MISHRA SHAHDOL.

                              Hi My name is Mohit. I made a complaint to Sony India on 1st September 2012 for a problem I was facing with my TV. My complain number was 11164066. These guys said, somebody will visit my home or will call me in 48 hours. Its 10th September 2012 today and till now nobody came or called me. I have called Sony helpline so many times and they just speak whatever is written on their computer screen i.e. my apologizes and we understand your problem. Today when I called them, they straight away said they can't do anything. So I just want to tell people, whosoever wants to buy Sony product in future - please be aware they nobody will respond to your problems or concerns if you have in future for any sony product you will buy.

                              Also, people at Sony India can't even speak better ENGLISH. God knows who is taking care of Sony India. For me its a pathetic company with false promises. PLEASE DON'T BUY SONY PRODUCT.

                                  they don't give me any complaint number. you all have cheated the customer by saying that you give warranty on the gadgets like laptop, mobile etc but when the problem come in the gadgets and when we show the problem to the sony service centre then they give many excuses like the problem is not coming in the camera, sony doesn't give us authority to change the affected gadgets while the problem is not captured in the camera, so many like this, if you are not able to give warranty then don't give us fake warranty.

                                        I had decided to buy a LCD TV and a Home Theatre System in Oct-2009 for my family and chose SONY from Sony Center, Salem, Tamil Nadu (LCD TV Model No: KLV – 32T550A IN5 on dated: 18/10/2009 vide bill No: SLM/4345, from Sony center, Salem – Tamilnadu). I did not even evaluate other brands available in the market at the time of my purchase decision as my belief on SONY brand for its uncompromising quality and service level was very strong.
                                        However, a thin line started appearing suddenly in middle of my TV Screen horizontally and the color below the line was not natural as that of SONY’s. When I logged a complaint on 10th July 2012 with Sony India Care and taken the TV to SONY service center at Salem, Tamil Nadu, I was asked to pay Rs. 12,363 for replacing the LCD Panel without giving any reasons.
                                        Though I understand the warranty period is over, it is highly unfortunate that SONY’s LCD Panel has failed with in such a short life span and making me shed huge amount for repairing the same.
                                        I regret to inform you that this incident shattered my strong belief on SONY quality.
                                        Hope an appropriate action taken by SONY India will help in retaining a loyal customer.

                                        Sony / LCD TV — Installation pending till date

                                        I had purchaged Sony LCD TV KLV - 26V300A from M/S SAMUDRA Sales vide invoice No. 1005 at Jamnagar authorised Sony deler . The system had been delivered on 12/10/2007, due to non availibility of wall mounting assoceries installation is pending till date. Several reminder and followup is not able to solve the problem except getting excuses and assurance.

                                        i purchased sony lcd t.v. on16 of march 2006 worth 180000. on 26th of june 2009 my lcd t.v. suddenly stop showin vision and it automatically use to get switchoff. i called up customer care more then 6 times every time they use to tell a man will come finally after 5 days technican comes and takes the t.v. charging 500rs for up and drop services. after rectifying problem they come up with this huge budget of 55, 000rs for fixing the problem. i don't understand one thing when one is buying sony its not just t.v. its the brand name which we go for and to be very frank i never expected that this people at sony charge you on the price tag which u pay for buying the t.v. its is really pathetic if sony people can't help me then i am definatlyy going to consumer services for sch a bad and costly services. the price which they are charging to fix my t.v. in that price i can literallly purchase another lcd t.v. i seriously request sony people to look into my matter and comes up with some option.

                                        LCD TV — Issues still not resolved. Bad service

                                        We had LCD TV issues since last month. The Problem as with HDMI port. The PCB-HDMI port was changed 3 times. This person who came to fix this twice had got an incorrect port, even after get giving the invoice which has the model number and all other info in it. We had send out of work to just make sure that this tech replaces the part. The HDMI still did not work. After 3 weeks of time spend with the 1st tech, we had another person by name Ganesh, who came to fix the LCD. He got the Panel to be replaced. He replaced it, still the issue was not resolved, there was white patch and Power shot sounds were coming. He told us that this was not an issue and bet on it saying that he would take us and show all the LCD models . My husband spent the whole date on 06/29/2009 roaming with him in Bangalore as if he was jobless. Ur techs person took him to a showroom in Rajajinagar and also took him to an customers place in white field. he promised, if this was the problem in LCD's then he would replace. Later when it was confirmed that this was the problem in all the LCD, it took back his words and said that he cannot do anything on this. Today again they had come to replace the PCB port, but no go. We are very upset and have spend so much of time that we didn’t want any replacement, please call us we would be glad to explain. Awaiting ur call.

                                        Sony TV 29 Inches — Defective Set

                                        I bought 29 inches Sony TV, on 1st Sept. 2006 of Model No. KV-XR29M80, it has been breaking down for last 3 years. First time it broke down just 3 months after buying on 4-1-2007 and 2nd time on[protected] both time in warranty period. Both times the company refused to change the defective TV set. They just repaired it saying it won't happen again. Now again on[protected] it has again stopped working and company will send their technician only on[protected].

                                        So much for Sony's impeccable reputation. The executives are rude, the product though was most expensive amongst other companies. We have another 29 inch Color TV from LG which is working since 2005 which is working so well without giving any trouble.

                                        This Sony TV was bought from Nayyar Electronics World, RU-316, Pitam Pura.
                                        This Sony company really sucks, this Japanese company charges such exhorbitant prices for their products and in return hand out such poor quality products. On top of that a small repair or a part costs so much. Really horrible!!!

                                        NOBODY SHOULD BUY SONY PRODUCTS!!!

                                        Next Showroom / Sony Home Theater System — Amount Pending

                                        I have spent 40,500 Rupees on Sony LCD & Sony Home Theater System (Combo Offer) at Next Showroom ( Prahladnagar, Ahmedabad) on 16th October 2009.

                                        Since they didn’t have Sony Home theater System as per my requirement, they delivered me only LCD.

                                        Today 18 days has been passed, they are not capable to deliver either Home Theater System or Money. Also they provided me an Archived model of Sony LCD.

                                        During the festival season I might get discount offer of rupees 2000 on this combo offer. But due to irresponsibility of this center I could not get this chance.

A engineer came on 12/10/10 after many calls and took the chasis main panel for repairs. later on 15/10/10 gave an estimate of 4800/- which we denied. Haven't returned the chasis yet.                                         I believe that the Sony is having good reputation in the market and very professional company. I am very old customer of Sony because of quality product. I always suggest to the people to purchase the product of Sony but very unfortunately this time the experience is very bad about the product as well as the Service and response of Sony team against my complaint.



                                        I know that sometimes the product may be faulty but we purchased the branded product for what????? As per my understanding because we are aware with the reputation of that BRAND and faith on that brand that the things will be not wrong with us if we go with this BRAND and only for that we are paying that much heavy amount for the product. Otherwise many brands in the market are available with very cheap rates as you know that better than me.



                                        I am writing this mail with very high frustration and because of getting very poor response from your side. So please consider this and give me the satisfy service with positive response.

                                        I purchased Sony Bravia LCD TV (Model KLV-46EX400 INS) from Jyot Electronics, Chembur, Mumbai on 12/01/2011.
                                        When the fresh new brand TV was installed by the Sony personnel at my residence the picture/video quality was not clear with all the colours flowing and some negative images seen. I was told that it is because of the poor quality of cable service signals.


                                        I complained to the cable operator about his services, which were found in order as my neighbours using the same cable services were getting good views on their television sets.

                                        To my surprise our earlier 21" Tri-nitron Sony TV which is almost 12 years old was working good with the same cable connection.
                                        Believing the Sony TV personnel I changed my cable operator and switched on to new service provider. But the result the same. No improvement in the picture quality.
                                        Now next time I got the new set-top box and thought that things will turn positive. But alas.
                                        Couple of times I contacted Jyot Electronics, from where I purchased the TV. They behaved as if their job is done 'once the TV is sold'.
                                        In the meanwhile the TV was idle. As and when I had to watch any program I used my 21" old TV even though I was having a 46" brand new LCD one with me.
                                        Tired of the things and getting no response from the dealer, I thought of registering a complaint.
                                        And I did so. I registered a complaint under number 9334472 on 01/12/2012.
                                        The technicians/engineers visited and checked the TV and told us that it need to be taken to the service center at Goregoan, Mumbai as it has got a software problem. I was told that I will have to pay the service charges. After lot many arguments that I have'nt used the TV (which was clear to them as they saw that even the plastic covering on the TV was also not removed by me) i was charged Rs. 500/-.


                                        Things did not end here.

                                        The TV was repaired (as they said) and called me to for delivering it.
                                        As this time I had taken up the work of renovation and interiors at my home, I requested Mr. Kamlesh Rai from Krish Electronics to deliver me the TV after some time when I complete my interiors.
                                        Now when I was told that I can't keep the TV for much longer period with them ( Service Center), the TV was delivered to me.
                                        As my interior had not completed the TV was kept as it is till late.


                                        Last week I called Mr. Kamlesh and asked him to send some technician to fix/install the TV. One Mr. Gupta came to install it.
                                        WHEN THE TV WAS PUT ON NO PICTURES/IMAGES/VIDEO WAS SEEN. ONLY ONCE BEEP COMES WHEN THE TV IS PUT ON. EVEN THE SONY TV LOGO DOES'NT APPEAR.
                                        THIS IS SERIOUS. A TV COSTING ALMOST A LAKH OF RUPEES AND IS COMING IN NO USE. LEAVE APART THE HEADACHE.
                                        This time also I contacted Jyot Electronics saying that the product is not working and I be given some relief. But at the dealers office the desk is handled by 16 to 18 years aged girls who know nothing and are very rude and they asked to register a complaint at Sony Center again.

                                        Helpless what to do again I launched a complaint under number 11353044.


                                        TECHNICIAN FROM SERVICE CENTER CAME TO ME ON 24/09/2012. HE CHECKED THE TV AND OPINED THAT THE "MOTHER BOARD" IS FAULTY AND NEEDS TO BE TAKEN TO THE SERVICE CENTER AND THAT THE REPAIRING CHARGES MAY GO UPTO Rs. 9000/- PLUS Rs. 1200/- PLUS Rs. 250/- VISITING CHARGES. THIS IS HORRIBLE I THOUGHT AND AGAIN CALLED SONY SERVICE CENTER AT [protected] ON 24/09/2012 AT 13:26 HOURS AND SPOKE TO ONE Mr. AASISH. I TOLD HIM ALL THE ABOVE FACTS AND ALSO THAT AS A CUSTOMER 'I HAVE BEEN CHEATED BY SELLING A FAULTY PRODUCT TO ME AND THAT I NEED NO CHARGEABLE OR FREE SERVICE BUT MY TV BE REPLACED WITH A NEW ONE. TO THIS Mr. AASISH REPLIED THAT HE WILL TAKE UP THE MATTER WITH THE MANAGEMENT AND WILL CALL ME IN NEXT 24 HOURS.
                                        IT IS 02:20 HOURS MID-NIGHT ON 26/09/12 AND I AM STILL WAITING FOR THE CALL.
                                        ONE THING IS FOR SURE IF THE THINGS ARE NOT SET RIGHT AND REPLACEMENT IS NOT AWARDED, I AM GOING TO TAKE UP THE ISSUE IN CONSUMER COURT AND ALL LEADING AND LOCAL NEWS PAPERS.

                                        This is ridiculous and very dis-appointing experience from such a HUGE BRAND NAME CALLED "SONY".

                                        Exactly 3 years back we purchased a SONY Bravia TV (KLV 32S550A IN5), Serial number 6169433 from Dawar's Open World Gurgaon Haryana. Bill number 15767, Dated on 15 October.2009.
                                        For the last one Month onwards, display of TV becomes Greenish and shows negative picture intermittentivly. some times it runs upto 30-40 minutes w/o problem also.
                                        We have contacted the Dealer. They redirected our request to the local SONY Authorized Service Centre (I connect M-4 old DLF colony Gurgaon), Lator opened Service Job Sheet no. J21354459.
                                        Initially estimate was Tr. 3500 and now they are asking Rs. 12000 for repair.
                                        My question is, I agree that the Warranty is over. But what is the 'Life ' span of SONY Bravia TV in India.
                                        Only 3 years !!! I purchased it in Rs. 35500 and after 3 yrs again Rs. 12000 Is it the Quality Sony is Proud of?? If this is the Quality then why should I buy Sony products ? Rather why should not I discourage my big corporate circle for buying Sony products.
                                        I am expecting an official reply from SONY India on this issue immediately. I also request to discount the repair cost to original quote of Rs. 3500, Spending Rs. 12000 in three years is something not suiting to Sony's faith.

                                        In regard to my 2 year old purchase of sony bravia lcd model KLV40Z550A. it seem to have some problem starting. Hence I had called the sony service center her in mumbai india. The technician inspected my unit and informed that its back light inverter D1N (part #[protected] has error and need to be replaced. But to my shock I was told by the service center that the above part is not independently available and I would have to pay for the entire new panel to replace the above inverter board. That apparently is costing around 10 times more then the individual price of the inverter available all over the world when I checked on the internet, and is easily available as an independent unit.
                                        I need to ask, Are these authorized service centers appointed by you are trying to play with the goodwill and reputation of your such esteem brand like SONY???
                                        Are their any check backs on the operations of such corrupt minded people who take up agencies of reputed brand and try to hamper its goodwill in the market?

                                        While I congratulate you for taking over the operational control of Sony India, I would request you to improve upon the quality of the Products and Service, to achieve success in India. I am a very old customer of Sony, my first product being " Legato Linear" music system in 1985. Ever since I have been an ordent fan and supporter of Sony and have bought TVs, Music Systems, Cameras and Laptops.Unfortunately, there has been a marked degradation in the quality and service over the years which have affected your market share, while others have taken a march over your products. Incidentally, I have a complaint against my laptop VAIO VGN-CR353L, Serial no: 7001198. The keyboard was changed during August 2012. After collection, I found that the system used to shut off automatically after 5/10 mts. I took it back for rechecking within a month a so, when I was told that mother board has to be changed. This was not acceptable and they could not confirm the same in writing. Thereafter I went abroad and returned in Dec. I lodged the complaint again for which I received a curt reply that the mother board should be changed and the service personnel here were of no help. I cannot understand how the so called authorised service station could not locate the mother board defect when they replaced the key board and if so why was I not informed then. Although I was at fault in not checking the laptop running it for 30mts at the service centre, in good faith and trust or taking their confirmation in writing when it was given for recheking within a month. I have learnt an expensive lesson " Do Not Trust SONY as well" - after all they are in the business !!!. My 30 years of Trust on SONY was shattered !!! I am aware these messages will just be thrown away without much review. But such reports will have telling effect on your future sales !!!

                                        While I congratulate you on your taking charge of the operations of Sony India, I would request you take some urgent steps to improve the quality of the products and services to meet you ambitious sales targets.This a sincere advice from a 65 year old who had been a loyal fan of SONY for over 25 years, my first sony product being' Legato Linear Music System in 1985.Thereafter I had bought TVs, Mobile Phones, Music Systems, Cameras and Laptops. For the first time I felt terribly let down by the Sony in respect of my Laptop VAIO VGN-CR353L Sl No. 7001198. Since some of the keys stopped working, I gave it your Service Centre, Alwarpet, Chennai, in August. They suggested replacement of keyboard, which was accepted. The key board was changed and delivered to me on 4th August. In good faith the same was not checked for an hour at the service centre. Thereafter I found that the laptop was shutting off within 5-10 mts of starting. When I took it to them for rechecking within a month or so I was told that the mother board needs replacement.Since I was travelling aborad to be with my daughter, the same was not followed up till Dec. 2012. When I took up the matter again, I was bluntly told that the set was delivered to me in good shape after key board replacement and no complaint was lodged then. MY TRUST WITH SONY WAS SHATTERED.I had learnt an expensive lessen " NEVER TRUST EVEN SONY" after all they are also in the business !!!. Your customer support at Delhi supported the Alwarpet Service Centre and repeated the same answer. I am aware that such complaints would not meet your personal attention and someone down the line would dispose them off silently and show everything is in great shape. But such reports would have a TELLING EFFECT on your future sales. At least some one in Sony will be sensible enough to look at the real issues rathen than what is on the surface !!!

                                        Pls find below a list of mails sent and exchanged with Sony team. It's sad that despite repeated followups - even after 8 weeks my problem is still unresolved and whats more, no one in Sony even seems to care about the same!!!

                                        Would really suggest that I am passed on the number of someone who can atleast take some decision and action on this. The inaction on Sony's part is really baffling in this case!!! Even after writing mails and following up regularly with you as well nothing seems to be happening here!!! Are you guys really serious about Consumer Complaints? Or do I really need to start approaching this case rather more drastically from my side?

                                        I request an immediate resolution to this and would now urge that in case my handset has been misplaced ( or likewise which really seems to be the case) then please replace the same with immediate effect and spare me the hassle of having to follow up further on this.

                                        Just for the records, please ensure that I do not get back any " I will get back to you" mails or phone calls - am seriously over with that phase!! Am sure you appreciate that 7 weeks post my submission I am hardly in a mood to have anyone " get back to be with further update"! Please TAKE ACTION!!!

                                        Having been an ardent supporter, fan and a loyal consumer of Brand "Sony" for more than 8 years. it gives me great pain and displeasure in stating the there has been an extremely shoddy handling of my customer service log.



                                        I am the proud owner of an Xperia Ion which for some reason was not charging up and hence was submitted on 7th Jan 2013 to the Service Centre as stated below (pdf of Job Sheet attached) :

                                        Due to my official engagements I was not able to personally hand over the handset myself and hence took the help of the concierge service at my wife's office (Cadbury's India Ltd) for the same. On submission it was confirmed that since it was well within the warranty period ( hardly a month since I had bought the handset) it will be serviced Free of Cost. Since then it has been a nightmare of sorts!



                                        After almost a week I had asked for a follow up basis which it was confirmed that there is some need for change parts and hence it would take a week more for the same to get done since the change part was not readily available. After that again there was no response for more than a week and after repeated follow ups it was again confirmed that the mother board needs to get replaced and will take a little more time. Last week after further follow up it was confirmed that the job has been done but the original job sheet was not available and hence the delivery would be made the next day. To my utter shock the next day in the afternoon I got a call from the service centre saying that there was water locking in the handset and it was not repaired and that if I wanted to get it repaired I would be charged ~ 70% of the handset cost for the overall changes!!



                                        Firstly, how was a job card made without even confirming the state of the handset to the person delivering the handset? It was very clearly a miss and had that been done am sure there would have been little doubt on the condition and state in which the handset was submitted.



                                        Secondly, when my wife spoke to the Customer Care centre the behavior was pretty rude which to me was appalling because in today's world I am sure with so much competition around a brand like "Sony" should know better how to treat it's consumers.



                                        Thirdly, why was there no update available at all from the Service station guys for nearly 4 weeks????



                                        Fourthly, why was it confirmed that the job has been done and the delivery would be done the next day????



                                        Finally, I am sure Sony would have a database of it's loyal consumers - just to reiterate - the X Peria Ion was my 6th Sony handset in the last 8 years (my last being the X10i before which i had the Xperia Mini). Besides, I also own a Sony Playstation-3, a PSP, a Sony Home Theatre, a 46" Bravia Smart TV besides Sony walkman etc. As is obvious, I have been a very strong advocate of the brand amongst friends and family.





                                        It is seriously shocking for me that instead of repairing the handset or replacing the same (since it was well within warranty) I was almost "strictly instructed" that " Sir if you want us to work on your handset please note that it would be chargeable. Else you can come and pick it up. Can you please confirm when will you pick it up?"



                                        Please note that for me spending 20k is not at all difficult as I keep upgrading almost every year (my next buy was supposed to be the Xperia Z on its launch). But I find this extremely a ridiculous reason for paying up when clearly someone in the service centre has goofed up on this!!



                                        I would really appreciate if this is taken up very seriously and my faith in the brand is restored with proper action at your end.



                                        Just for the record I will NOT be picking up my cell from the Service Station till I get a favorable response from your side.

                                        A gentleman from Ahemdabad called me up, saying the Engineer would visit me again to resolve the problem i have with my LCD. Guess what...he came & repeated the same story without giving me any solution. I'm getting so frustrated that i feel like throwing my SONY BRAVIA LCD out of the house...this is what Sony is...people from the company talk big and deliver zero. Wonder how things are running. But I won't let others get cheated by stopping them from buying Sony Bravia televisions, if my problem is not resolved.
                                        I plan to open up a blog by the name of "Victims of Sony" kind join me and show the support. Lets make it sure what an unsatisfied customer can do.

                                        I have been facing a problem with my Sony Bravia TV set (Model no: KDL-26EX550). I had purchased the TV on 26 May 2012 from EZONE, Growels Mall, Kandivali (East), Mumbai.

                                        Problem: The screen has two huge black circles and the black marks are spreading. There are green vertical lines on top of the screen and spreading as well. A similar problem though not so severe (smaller purplish marks) had occurred last year as well. At that time the Customer Care had repaired it.

                                        For the current problem, I called up Customer Care[protected] on Saturday (27 April 2013) and was told that the mechanic would come over to my house to check the TV on 28 or 29 April 2013. Someone called up from Sony Customer Care on Sunday (28 April) and said that a mechanic would come that day. The mechanic did not come on Sunday and eventually arrived on Monday (29 April). He checked and photographed the screen and said that he would give a report by Tuesday (30 April). He did not.

                                        No one from Customer Care communicated anything to us either. We called up on Wednesday (1 May) and the Customer Care was not even aware that someone had come to our place and taken a photograph. The Customer Care personnel assured me that he is placing my complaint on an urgent basis and that somebody else would come to repair the TV set. On Thursday (2 May) I got a call from a mechanic and I asked him to come over any time that day after 02.00pm. He did not turn up.

                                        Till today no one has intimated us about any update. It is now one week since we filed our complaint with Sony Bravia Customer Care.

                                        My warranty period is until 26 May 2013. Today is 5 May 2013.

                                        Please let us know if Sony Bravia Customer Care has the adequate capabilities necessary to carry out due customer care procedures.

                                        Also kindly expedite the process so that we are not at a situation where the Customer Care delays the entire repair process till 26 May 2013 and then informs that our warranty period is now over and therefore the repair will not fall technically under warranty cover.

We wrote to the Service Haed, Customer Care as well as the MD -Mr. K Hibi. But Sony is not owning up the responsibility of rectifying the defect by replacing or repairing the screen free of cost. Berfore 14 month month is was working fine but after the whole tv colour went pink and the the screen was juming from bottom to up. so i went to sony shop where I bought it form and they said it would cost 47 thousand taka(in our currency).so I said it was hopeless to fix it and i don't have any warrenty i went to buy a new tv. My Uncle bought the same tv and having the same problem.

                                        i have same 32 inch bravia tv. it is working fine after 3 year.

                                        So if you could do something to the bangladesh market it will be hopefull.

Cold response from company hiding behind warranty clause because they have a shoddy design, out of place with the technology and market,

                                        Mr hibi san, sorry to write such a strong message, SONY is only riding on past glory, in other terms Inertia and this will die out in no time in a competitive world. If you guys have guts recall all SONY LED's that have this problem and rectify your faults, remember you have charged consumers premium pricing on substandard product.

                                        Myself Girija Shankar Ray, I had purchased a Sony Ericsson Neo V on 07/April/2012 from UniverCell, Jayanagar, Bangalore store, after using the mobile for 18 months I face the restart problem with my handset, I rushed to Sony Service Centre and they said
                                        First I went to Sony Service Centre, Bangalore to repair it, they did a very poor inspection whereas I specifically mention that "If I am using Airtel SIM Card its getting restart, and I specifically mentioned them that please check with SIM Card, but they didn't check with the SIM Card, and they called me next day saying "Your mobile is ready you can take". But when I went to the service centre to collect the handset, I found the same issue with my handset, which really made me harassed, again I said they to check with SIM Card properly."
                                        After checking with Tata DoCoMo SIM Card they said it is proper with Tata DoCoMo SIM Card but not with Airtel, so I called up Airtel Service Centre and spoke about the issue, they said “They produce homogeneous product throughout market”. Even it is a fact that there are some issue with the Handset not with the SIM Card, if not then how the Airtel SIM Card is working in other companies Handset, why not only in my handset Sony Ericsson Neo V? Next day again they called me and said only Tata DoCoMo SIM Card is working in Handset but any other SIM Card is not working. The person who called me she said that "you have inserted a wrong SIM Card, my Question is what her mean by wrong SIM Card is?”.
                                        After a discussion she mentioned that “They have to change the mother board which cost me INR 9, 000". Do you think that INR 9, 000 to spend on a handset which I brought on INR 18, 550, as I know motherboard is a vital part of the Handset, I am surprised that how come the motherboard is spoiled in 18 month of duration? Major part of the cost to manufacture a handset is associated with motherboard, when you are spending major cost with motherboard why it is having a short period of longevity?
                                        Due to this consequence I lost many contact number and important business data from my handset, it is my humble request to go through the issue and take an appropriate action as soon as possible. Please be informed that they must repair my handset without changing the motherboard, if changing the motherboard is only solution I am not going to pay any price associated with it.
                                        I am very much disappointed with the service and product. I had an excellent belief on Sony Company.

                                        I am extremely sorry to bring it to your kind attention that I bought SONY BRAVIA 48W600B on 26Sep 2014 . During watching, TV becomes suddenly display off only music was coming. I had lodge a complained over telephone on call centre under complained ID No 26940889and 26927431 dated 10/08/2015.

                                        The set has totally failed in all aspects such a poor quality product from an internationally reputed company.

                                        Set in under warranty but till date it is lying faulty. Service engineer has been visited two visit dated 13/08/2015and 22/08/2015 but not repaired/ replaced.

                                        I request you that under repaired policy if set is repaired/replaced, 90 days minimum guaranty should be provided of the repaired/replaced items form the date of repair in free of cost.

                                        Request you to look into the matter and take action as early as possible.

                                        I purchased Sony Bravia LCD TV (Model KDL-42-W-700B) from Hind Enterprises, Udaipur (Raj.) in August 2014.
                                        It been just a year and 4 months, that all of a sudden the display went off in December 2015.
                                        We can only hear the sounds and the picture is no more visible.
                                        Such early failure was not expected from a brand like Sony.
                                        It seems to be a wrong decision to spend this huge amount on a product from SONY.
                                        Extremely disappointed with the product!
