Hi,
I have a Sony Ericsson's Mobile Phone C510 .I have been using The phone from more Than 2 years now,from The last few days I am facing Keypad issue as 3 of The Keys are not working properly, I went to The auThorized service center in Agra and I was told That The whole chip will change on which The keypad is supported .The executive told me That we will change The complete chip and will charge you Rs 1200 for That, but due to some urgent work I could not submitted my phone.I came back to Delhi and went to auThorized center "ACCEL FRONTLINE SERVICES LTD" at 601-604,6Th Floor,Ashok Bhawan,95,Nehru Place,New Delhi on 7Th Sep'12, They asked me to call The customer care for The unique number and asked The problem, I told The executive That The keypad is not functioning properly.she registered some details in The system and submitted my phone and asked me to call on Monday for confirmation.I called on Monday and asked The problem which I already know, They said That The complete chip will get change and you will be charged Rs 1760/- for The whole.when I asked for The description of The charges, he said That we cannot tell you The description.he told me if you want your phone to be fine, Then pay Rs 1760 else take your phone back and pay Rs 300 as a service charge.I ask him That if i want my phone back wiThout rectification,why should i pay service charge.I had an argument.I would like to know The price of That component(Chip) of Sony Ericsson's C510 Mobile Phone which will get change as one of your auThorized executive in Agra saying That it will be changed in Rs 1200 and The executive of Nehru Place is asking for Rs 1760/-.This is not acceptable.I am writing The mail again as i did not get any reply of my oTher email which i had sent on 12 Sep'12.I asked The executive of Accel Front line services Ltd to repair my handset as i don't have any choice.I am waiting from 7 Sep'12 still my handset is not repaired.I had a conversation wiTh The executive on 26 Sep'12 and he told me That we don't have The new part and he has already escalated This matter to The Chennai team.Please help me wiTh The proper solution and what needs to be done in This case.

    I bought newly launched Sony Xperia Tipo (ST21i) on 16th Sep 2012 from Mobile Store in Aundh. On 18th Sep, I raised ticket for replacement of the handset as the handset was having touch dropping, battery heating, hanging problems. Since 18th Sep, I am waiting for DOA letter from the service center.
    1. (18th Sep 2012) The service center manager told me that when he enters the SIN of the handset in the system, the system is showing it as unauthorised sale of the device. Reason that he told me is that the distributor who gave the stock of handsets to Mobile Store has not yet entered the handset details in the system. It will take 2 days of time to get the DOA letter.
    2. (19th Sep 2012) - Service center closed on account of Ganesh Chaturthi in Pune.
    3. (20th Sep 2012) - They are saying that there is some problem in the system as there is new system is recently set for India division customer service and the DOA letter is getting rejected. They sent rejected DOA letter copy to the Mobile store. I went to mobile store and met Mr. Rakesh Singh, the Sony distributor for Pune. He assured me that the DOA letter will be received on 21st Sep before lunch.
    4. (21st Sep 2012) - Friday whole day I was chasing Mr. Rakesh Singh, Mr. Rohit Kulkarni for the approval. After lunch, Rohit Kulkarni gave me Mr. Ashish Parekh's (Head for Sony repairs in Maharashtra) number. I talked to him, gave him the ticket number and requested him to look into this on priority. After numerous calls and chasing, in the evening he tells me that the approval is done and I can collect the letter on Saturday from the service center.
    5. (22nd Sep 2012) - I went to Service center and talked to the manager and requested him to give me the print of the letter as service center is closed on 4th saturday of the month. He told me that the system is again showing the DOA request as rejected. Again I had numerous calls with Ashish Parekh. He never tells the reason why it is happening, he simply says that I will get a call from this or that person in 30 mins.
    6. (24th Sep 2012)- Monday also, I called Mr. Ashish Parekh in the morning and asked him whether my case is similar to the other cases mentioned on internet. If it is so, I will have to take other actions to get my things done. So, again he said that today the letter will be in your hands. I also called Nepolian Shinde, service center manager, numerous times so that I can get clear picture of what is happening but all in vain. In the evening, Nepolian conferenced my call with Mr. Sagar where Mr. Sagar told me that I will get the letter by Tuesday afternoon anyhow otherwise he will ask the Mobile Store manager to give me the replacement.
    7. (25th Sep 2012)- First I called Nepolian several times but he did not pick my call. Then I talked to Mr. Ashish Parekh for assisting me as the letter is not yet approved. As expected he told me that I will talk to Sagar and he will call you. I called up Sagar and whole day he told me that my letter is done and he will mail in 15-20 mins. Till evening, I did not receive the letter and when I again tried calling him in the evening, he switched off his cell.

    Seriously, I did not expected this kind of service from such a big giant leader. I am seriously thinking of raising a case in consumer court. Please let me know what all is required for raising a case. I am sure there is no fault at my end except that I bought their product.

      My laptop was not working so I went to Sony vaio service centre m/s club electronics at south extension delhi and showed my laptop to their engineer and after checking he informed me that the hard disc had to be changed and that USB port was broken and on 28th August gave me an estimate of approx rs 8500.00 as repair charges and spare parts cost for which I gave my go ahead.the service centre then informed me that I will have to pay advance amount for which I paid rs 4000.00 and service centre told me to inquire about the status after 2/3 days,when I contacted them after 3 days the service centre informs me that Sony has stopped producing the reqd hard disc and offered me a hard disc which is double the price of the first estimate.I can not understand how Sony can stop producing a part which was available one week before .This is a case of cheating and harassing a senior citizen by giving one estimate earlier and then quoting double the amount later.My contest is this that once they have taken the advance it becomes ethical and legal duty of the centre to repair and change the spare part.

      The service centre is now pestering and pressurising me to pay the revised double amt or take back the laptop.

      Kindly suggest what is there for me.It is a certain case of cheating,blackmailing on Sony hand it's service centre.

      hy i am ricky lives in malviya nagar .i admitted here my complaint that i just bought a new laptop sony vaio SVE15113ENW its model name, cpu-intel(R)core(TM)i3-2370M [protected]@2.40ghz in september 2012 and its really working so slow like a hanging problem.i dont understand whats the problem arising in my new laptop.plz suggest me what should i do.

      This is a complian against GARIAHAT SERVICE CENTRE KOLKATA PHONE NO.[protected] INDIA.

      one month before i bought one SONY LED TV 32 INCH MODEL NO.KLV-32EX330 , I Called to service centre to visit my place for installation , they asked me about warranty card , i replied having international warranty card with me.

      They committed that they will come next day, but they failed after that i caleed many times they replied repeatedly next day , but it never comes.

      Thogh we are regular consumer of SONY PRODUCTS.

      After being puzzled and upset with their false commitment i am compelled to write here to get solution.


      It would be highly appreciated if they send earliets.

        Dear Sir,
        I purchased a SONY VAIO LAPTOP Model VPCEB45FG/B :SL.nO.. 7000362 from your authorized dealer M/S Bhel Associates , 26 E, Rajpur Road, Dehra Dun 0n 12th Feb 2012 vide Invoice no. 7724 for rs.40,000.00.

        At the time of purchase, I was told that the battery back up of the system is more than 3 and a half hours but hardly anyday it gave a support of more than 45 mts.

        The lap top was very sparingly used , till one day last month when the screen of the Lappy turned blue and it suddenly started writing " "computer crashed....collecting crash dump..........and this crash dump continued to occur repeatedly...every time I logged on my Lappy.

        On the advice of your dealer i visited your authorized service center " M/s SMILE CARE, 11, CHAKRATA ROAD, BINDAL SERVICE STATION, DEHRA DUN ON 16.8.2012. My warranty was valid upto 31.3.2012

        The engineer on counter diagnosed this as a CRASHED HARDDISC' problem and insisted me on getting this replaced saying that this can not be repaired. since it was from Customer care..I accepted in what he said and agreed to have it replaced..

        The harddisc no.18402541 HDD50043 ,was replaced for a cost of Rs. 7503.00 vide bill no. 859 / -- dated 25.08.2012. and the system was handed over to me without installing windows or MS Office.

        I told your service center to kindly install the windows from my original backup DVDs which I had got copied at the time of purchase from the dealer but your officer handling the complaint did not do and instead installed with some other windows...which were not functioning well after the delivery.


        Within a few days after the said repair the Lappy Screen again started showing "BlUE DUMP ERROR' after the Registered Anti Virus Original QUICK HEAL was being installed, that made me dumb shocked. Another crash in less than a month.

        I contacted a local vendor, who diagnosed it a compatibility problem of the Anti Virus with the configuration of the system ...and after a little bit of application of mind , shut downs and restarts, corrected the error and now my Lappy is working fine.

        My complaint is not with the machine or SONY VAIO but with the wrong diagnosis of the problem that , besides my mental agony, caused me a loss of Rs.8000/-. The old HDD is also working smooth after encasing with a USB port jacket and used as an external hard Disk..

        The shear negligence and lack of knowledge of the customer care and the service center has made me poorer by Rs..8000/-

        The battery back up reported at the service center , was also not taken care off.........this a very serious matter.......


        The amount of Rs. 8000/- including service charges and taxes , may kindly be paid back to me or I shall be compelled to take the matter to the Consumer Court for the settlements. In case I do not hear from you immediately ...none can stop me from putting this in newspapers also.

        An honest and a sincere customer awaits a suitable compensation from you without much hassles.

        Upon inspection of the unit by our engineer, the Hard Disk Drive(HDD) found corrupt and needed replacement, as we have no provisions in Sony to repair the HDD, and the same was replaced upon your approval for Rs.6,023/-.

        Dear Madam Preeti Chawala:

        Thanks for your mail in response to my complaint no. 11398956. dated the 24th September, 2012.
        You have shown the same promptness in disposing my query as done by your customer service center.They very quickly identified it as a HDD crash problem and replaced the HDD. And you have very promptly stamped by endorsing what your customer care informed you.

        My question is this that when a private vendor can make assessment of the fault by application of IT mind and rectify the same in no time, why the SERVICE CENTER of a company of a repute no less than SONY VAIO can not diagnose it. It was not a question of repair of the HDD. And on the top of it the HDD was not at all crashed, but just a conflict error. The old HDD is still working perfect as an external HDD.
        Accept it or not...it is a shear negligence of the duties and lack of knowledge of the engineers at the Service Centre that is putting the reputation of the SONY Vaio at stake.

        Ther are a number of dealers and number of companies which make Laptops but it was my trust for SONY that prompted me to go in for a brand and now just shaking your hands by simply saying, " The services rendered to you were after complete diagnose of the product and charges mentioned above were charged as applicable. We regret to inform you that we may not be able to refund any charges for the above repairs",is not acceptable and contrary to my faith with the brand.

        Your this answer has annoyed me and I will be compelled to seek redressal through consumer court.
        I hope you better reconsider your answer and do the needful, as requested in my original mail.

          I Purchase SONY BRAVIA LED TV 32" From Gurgaon on 22nd-Sep-2012.

          Dealer committed to me that "Your LED will be INSTALL on Monday Evening.

          Monday Morning I receive a call from Sony Service Engineer regarding LED INSTALLATION.

          But evening time service Engineer not reach in my apartment.

          Again i revert to Service Engineer (Contact No.- [protected]), Engineer reply Its not sony India Responsibility.

          So I call to sony costumer care center complain & Complain resister (Complaint No[protected] &[protected].

          But till time no any reply from Sony INDIA side.

          SO my request to Consumer Forum Please take hard action with Sony India (My LED Installation will be Completed or return my LED Provide my Money).

              Dear Sir,
              I purchased a Sony Ericsson mobile handset Xperia SK17i on 10/10/2011 from authorized center of Sony. Next day it developed a problem & I deposited the set to service center on 12/10/2011 for replacement of the handset under guarantee. I got the replacement of mobile on 31/12/2011 after much deliberation, follow-up with everyone & after a delay of 2 months & 20 days.

              Again the touch pad of mobile stopped working & again I deposited the mobile at service center on 09/08/2012 (which is under warantee period). It is again 45 days gone & I didn't get my mobile after repairing till date. The service center is not telling any confirm dates for the repairing.

              It is a complete harrassment of the customer, that out of 11 months the phone is in the service center for the 4.5 months. It is a case of totally negligence from the sony side.

              kindly do the needful.

                Hi,

                I had brought Sony erricson Xperia Neo V on July 2012. of Rs. 16,700. The phone was going well till 45 days, then its display went off. The phone neither fell nor any damage has been done (even you would not find any single scratch on my phone). It was in my warranty period ,so I went to Sony erricson service center, they repaired and provided me back. After one week, again the phone's display went off. Within the use of two months, I have given my phone two times in Service center.
                I am not asking to refund my money, but I just want this phone to be replaced.

                  i purchased from hotspot s[ice retail ltd. D-354 main vikas marg laxmi nagar, delhi=92 book no. c86/115 and serial no.5703 dated 30/07/12 a Sony ericsson expria S ( model no. LT26i) of rs 28500/- when i used the phone after two days i find that the phone is hanged and contact the seller he said due to the application and this was continued for five to six days after the seller told me to contact the service centre and the sony service centre person laxmi nagar told same and he also update the application after that the phone is in same after seven days i want to service centre he told me that the phone will replace and you got new phone and issue a work order no.SE312CIS11231 on 19/8/12 after 13 days i find that a old scratch phone was given to me i refused and contact to sony ericsson executive he ensured me that a new phone is issued to you but a period of 45 days passed neither my old phone or new phone issued to me


                  kindly see what the sony ericsson is doing now a branded company?

                    Hi ,
                    I have bought Sony xperia neo l on 7th august 2012, but after 2 days it started ta hang i went to service center ( tirupati cellulars pune) but the updated software but again after some days same problem started.Then i submitted my cellphone to service center on Th September, they told me that they will replace my cellphone.after some days when they called me to collect my mobile i went there.But they have not replaced my phone and my phone was having dents oh its sides,And scratches on the screen.When i asked them that i will not take this phone.They told that they can't do anything and told me that they are now broken with sony. SO they told me to go to new service center (chetna electronic pune) so that they can replace my cell phone.But when i went there they refused to change the body and returned me my cell after 3 days. then i called customer care they told me to go tirupati cellular and ask them to talk to them(Sony customer care).But when i reached there and called customer care they refused to talk to tirupati cellular and asked me to go to chetna electronics again but that was too late so they told me to go to chetna on next day. So today when i went to chetna electronics and called customer care they again told me to go to tirupati cellulars i again went there and called customer care they then told me that they can't replace my body and now i have to pay for that. You can now see how much problem i am facing with Sony and its support.I bought this cell for 19000 and still such problems??
                    i am felling as if i am tortured by Sony.I will be again going to sony service center on Monday. But i don't think that it will help.As compared to brand Sony service is so poor i have seen.I should not have chosen Sony .I should have gone with Samsung as i am already using Samsung and with no problem from past one year.So i request you to take strict action on this and get my cell phone replaced.

                      Sub: Complaint regarding LCD Panel in my recently bought SONY VAIO lap top (VPC CB45FN/B SONY VAIO COMPUTER)-Reg.

                      Ref: Job No.J21002880 dated: 15.9.12, Shri. Sai Services, Imran Nagar,Silvassa Road at Va

                      I had purchased a SONY VAIO lap top (VPC CB45FN/B SONY VAIO COMPUTER) on 15/4/12, vide invoice No: AC-0107, from Shree Parshwanath Enterprises, Vadodara.
                      To my utter shock and dismay when I opened my laptop last week to work, I found some problem in the screen as only half screen was legible. Failing to understand the problem, I took it to the Authorised Service centre, Shri. Sai Services, Imran Nagar,Silvassa Road at Vapi where I am presently residing.
                      Vide Job No.J21002880 dated: 15.9.12, I was told that the LCD Screen was broken .I could not believe it, as for a thing to break either it has to fall, or some mishandling has to take place, However no such thing had ever happened, and there is no physical damage to the lap top, not even a scratch, which the service centre also agreed to. The lap top was sparingly used and the same was not carried any time here and there, it was kept at home.
                      The authorised service centre told that the fault is not covered in warranty and the panel has to be replaced for which they have quoted approx- Rs.18, 000 or so.
                      Now I am mailing you the above details so that you can guide me in the matter and address my problem. Here I would like to make it very clear that I have made up my mind to fight it up at all the forums possible, because ,after buying such an expensive product and hardly using it for six months, for no fault of mine , I have no intentions of bearing such a loss.
                      Inspite of mailing my grievance to their area manager ritesh shah ,he did not have the courtesy of replying even. Please do not buy sony product, VERY POOR AFTER SALES CONCERN ,AND NO GRIEVANCE REDRESSAL

                      Sony VAIO — defect in replace LCD

                      i am having sony vaio laptop (VGN-CR343N) with two ear extended warranty , i got my LCD replace two times, its having some kind of white spot apppearing on the screen , july 2010 i got it replaced , but again a prominent white spot has appeared. this is a question on sony vaio service.

                        i purchase new mobile from SONY CENTER (sony LT26i XPERIA S/BLACK) SP NO[protected] on 14-APRIL-2012 INR 31000/= AUG 28th my phone is hang & not working i go sony service center for examin but they dont having good tecnical person after half hour service center give me reply your phone is dead isend your phone chenai for reparing you come back after one weak for collect your mobile & they give complante work order no se[protected] .i call to service center land line no [protected] but not responding they people dont have a time to pick the phone then i went to service center they said sorry sir we dont know acttule status you please call MR ALPESH [protected](FIELD SERVICE EXECUTIVE) i call him explane story he said you not worry company given a new hand set beaucse your phone is totaly dead.you wait 2 or 3 days i call him again after 3 days he give me the new person no sir i hand over your case to mr paramhance ok icall him he listen me properlly & after 4 days he finally he send the msg your hanset transit by AFL courier[protected] you collect your pcs tommarrow evening iwent again service center i shocked they said sir is not your hand set company sent this pc on your IMEI NO by mistake ) wedont have autorty to give you i call again to alpesh not respondig call to pramhance he pick my phone & tried to call alpesh but still he dont pick then he fight with center persons again icall to alpesh he pick my phone ok sir i give you MR. MANISH CHAUHAN no [protected] he is working in delhi as warehouse incharge i call him sir you not to worry isend you new pc seald pack tomarrow evening you collect your new handset again he send the mobile after many many calls after 5 days i went to center i show my slip they said ple come after 1 hour beause phone battrry is daed for a system first we charged the battery down load the new system then we give it you i say ok i wait again they give me second hand used with scrached screen isay inot my/ new pc they said sir you are lucky company send the hand set for you so many clients send black pc recived white pc many persons still not recived you take this pc go to company or court again i call alpesh manish he says sir i not used pc By concine they having scrach you leave the HANDSET there still they dont give me satisfactory answer & manish his seniour mr deepak m [protected] dont pick my or alpesh phone i reqested to you ple help me returned my mobile ifacing a problem ihope you help me

                              I hereby bring to your kind information that I have purchased a Sony VAIO Lap Model No:VPCEH25EN/B IN5 top from Singhavi Computers, Mysore against attached Invoice on 04th of November 2011. The warranty for my Sony VAIO Laptop is Valid till November of this year.

                              When I opened my Laptop on 28.08.2012 morning in my Office I noticed 2 Lines on the Screen while booting (There was no any such lines till Evening of 27.08.2012). I thought that it will be OK by itself. But when I booted the system again on 29.08.2012 morning the said lines still appeared on the screen. Then I thought of giving to Sony Service Centre to rectify the problem as the system was still under warranty. I handed over the Laptop to M/s Roshan Electronics, Mysore, who is The Sony Authorized Service Centre in Mysore against Job No: J20886861 on 29.08.2012 to rectify the problem under warranty. But I was shocked to here from Authorized Sony Service Center that they cannot rectify the Problem under Warranty stating that the lines are appeared due to some Physical Damage while the Laptop was not dropped any where around and you can notice no damages on it. I was asked to pay Rs.10,000 to rectify the problem.

                              I spoke to your Sony Customer care No: [protected] on 29.08.2012 evening and explained all the above. They requested me to send a Snap shot of the Laptop Screen for their perusal and assured me that the problem will be rectified within 3 to 4 Working Days. I have called above sony customer care number about 10 times. Every time when I call them they were assuring me to rectify the problem within 2 days. But till now I have not received any reply from them.

                              I have herewith attached photos of screen along with Purchase Invoice & Warranty Card. You can see only 2 lines on the screen which is Internal & there is not even a single pin point damage on the entire Screen.

                              I hereby request you to kindly consider my request & do the needful

                                  I never expected such an unprofessional and unfriendly behaviour on part of sony
                                  I got a sony xperia sola from flipkart. It wen smooth for 1 month and then the
                                  Touch panel started giving problems. I gave it to the service center in Aundh(PUNE,India) and the
                                  service center people replaced its motherboard and gave it back to me. The also
                                  removed the scratch guard which was there on the phone. There were some scratches on the
                                  phone but i settled for it.I got a new screen guard on it.
                                  The phone again started showing same problems in 1 day.Then i re submitted the phone.
                                  This time they took 20 days to give it back to me. Meanwhile i was assured by the
                                  Repair heads that it will surely be replaced this time but contrarily they again repaired
                                  the motherboard and sent it back. This time too the screen guard was gone.
                                  Plus this time the screen was filled with scratches. I called them again but they are not ready to listen. They assure that they will call back but they never do.
                                  I got the phone again from them but adding to my dissappointment for the 3rd time it again started to give problems. It shuts down automatically . All the applications hang by themselves and prompt me to force close. When i try to do factory reset it just unmounts the Internal storage and do nothing. I have restarted the phone like 100 times since morning. I call customer care they tell me to deposit the set again and now also they bluntly deny to give me replacement. When i ask them to transfer my call to their supervisor they deny that also. Their attitude is completely objectionable and disheartening. I cannot take this anymore please help me. I want this to end.

                                    This is to bring to your notice that we are very unhappy and deceived with the service provided by your authorised service centre:

                                    Sonus Electronic and Services,
                                    Shop No. 59, Dheeraj Heritage,
                                    SV Road, Santacruz(W),
                                    Mumbai.


                                    Our 32inch Sony Bravia LCD TV (MODEL No. V32A10 costing Rs. 1 Lakh) got slightly pushed by a chair whilst moving and as a result there was a small spot on the left hand side bottom corner of the screen and some red and green lines along the bottom, the rest of the television had a clear picture and was viewable.

                                    We called the above mentioned service centre and the person (Mr Sushil) checked and told us that it would cost around Rs. 9000 plus Rs 700 labour to replace the panel and advised us to use it as it is (which means it was viewable).

                                    Since the HDMI port was also not working, they told us the TV had to be taken to the service centre to check the HDMI port & was clearly mentioned that the panel was only to be replaced if the HDMI was repaired within a few hundred rupees. We were given an estimate of Rs 5000 for replacing the HDMI port, so we decided NOT to get any repairs done at all since we did not want to spend so much money on the repairs (as new 32" LCD TV's with warranty are now available for Rs. 15000) and use it as it is, as the picture was still visible.

                                    But when we got the television back from the service centre, the entire screen was blacked out with only a small portion of screen on top working.

                                    We called back the service centre to complain and they totally denied that it was their fault & they could not do anything about it. The service person did not even click a picture of the screen when he came the first time as per your norms, and so nothing could be justified.

                                    Inspite of repeated calls to Mr. Shanbag and Mr.Abdul at the service centre, neither do they come on the line nor do they take any action. They do not even bother to call back after repeated messages are left for them to call back.


                                    We have always believed in SONY as a prestigious brand and buy all SONY Electronic products ONLY, without a second look at the other brands available, and have never needed to approach for any after sales service, however after this experience of the disappointing service we have received from your end, we may now have to consider other brands. Also if no solution is given, we will need to publish this complaint in all Consumer Forums & Newspapers so that other customers are aware that SONY in Mumbai does not beleive in Customer Support.

                                    Kindly take the necessary action and get our TV back in working condition.

                                    I purchased Sony Bravia LCD TV (Model KLV-46EX400 INS) from Jyot Electronics, Chembur, Mumbai on 12/01/2011.
                                    When the fresh new brand TV was installed by the Sony personnel at my residence the picture/video quality was not clear with all the colors flowing and some negative images seen. I was told that it is because of the poor quality of cable service signals.
                                    I complained to the cable operator about his services, which were found in order as my neighbors using the same cable services were getting good views on their television sets.
                                    To my surprise our earlier 21" Tri-nitron Sony TV which is almost 12 years old was working good with the same cable connection.
                                    Believing the Sony TV personnel I changed my cable operator and switched on to new service provider. But the result the same. No improvement in the picture quality.
                                    Now next time I got the new set-top box and thought that things will turn positive. But alas.
                                    Couple of times I contacted Jyot Electronics, from where I purchased the TV. They behaved as if their job is done 'once the TV is sold'.
                                    In the meanwhile the TV was idle. As and when I had to watch any program I used my 21" old TV even though I was having a 46" brand new LCD one with me.
                                    Tired of the things and getting no response from the dealer, I thought of registering a complaint.
                                    And I did so. I registered a complaint under number 9334472 on 01/12/2012.
                                    The technicians/engineers visited and checked the TV and told us that it need to be taken to the service center at Goregoan, Mumbai as it has got a software problem. I was told that I will have to pay the service charges. After lot many arguments that I have'nt used the TV (which was clear to them as they saw that even the plastic covering on the TV was also not removed by me) i was charged Rs. 500/-.
                                    Things did not end here.
                                    The TV was repaired (as they said) and called me to for delivering it.
                                    As this time I had taken up the work of renovation and interiors at my home, I requested Mr. Kamlesh Rai from Krish Electronics to deliver me the TV after some time when I complete my interiors.
                                    Now when I was told that I can't keep the TV for much longer period with them ( Service Center), the TV was delivered to me.
                                    As my interior had not completed the TV was kept as it is till late.
                                    Last week I called Mr. Kamlesh and asked him to send some technician to fix/install the TV. One Mr. Gupta came to install it.
                                    WHEN THE TV WAS PUT ON NO PICTURES/IMAGES/VIDEO WAS SEEN. ONLY ONCE BEEP COMES WHEN THE TV IS PUT ON. EVEN THE SONY TV LOGO DOES'NT APPEAR.
                                    THIS IS SERIOUS. A TV COSTING ALMOST A LAKH OF RUPEES AND IS COMING IN NO USE. LEAVE APART THE HEADACHE.
                                    This time also I contacted Jyot Electronics saying that the product is not working and I be given some relief. But at the dealers office the desk is handled by 16 to 18 years aged girls who know nothing and are very rude. they asked to register a complaint at Sony Center again.
                                    Helpless what to do again I launched a complaint under number 11353044.
                                    TECHNICIAN FROM SERVICE CENTER CAME TO ME ON 24/09/2012. HE CHECKED THE TV AND OPINED THAT THE "MOTHER BOARD" IS FAULTY AND NEEDS TO BE TAKEN TO THE SERVICE CENTER AND THAT THE REPAIRING CHARGES MAY GO UPTO Rs. 9000/- PLUS Rs. 1200/- PLUS Rs. 250/- VISITING CHARGES. THIS IS HORRIBLE I THOUGHT AND AGAIN CALLED SONY SERVICE CENTER AT [protected] ON 24/09/2012 AT 13:26 HOURS AND SPOKE TO ONE Mr. AASISH. I TOLD HIM ALL THE ABOVE FACTS AND ALSO THAT AS A CUSTOMER 'I HAVE BEEN CHEATED BY SELLING A FAULTY PRODUCT TO ME AND THAT I NEED NO CHARGEABLE OR FREE SERVICE BUT MY TV BE REPLACED WITH A NEW ONE. TO THIS Mr. AASISH REPLIED THAT HE WILL TAKE UP THE MATTER WITH THE MANAGEMENT AND WILL CALL ME IN NEXT 24 HOURS.
                                    IT IS 02:20 HOURS MID-NIGHT ON 26/09/12 AND I AM STILL WAITING FOR THE CALL.
                                    ONE THING IS FOR SURE IF THE THINGS ARE NOT SET RIGHT AND REPLACEMENT IS NOT AWARDED, I AM GOING TO TAKE UP THE ISSUE IN CONSUMER COURT AND ALL LEADING AND LOCAL NEWS PAPERS.

                                      I purchased a Sony Ericsson Model WT19i( Under Warranty) on 17 August 2012 at G-3 Ashok Bhawan, 93 Nehru Place. Later I found that the Camera was not working. Then I went to the Servicing Centre located at 601-604 Ashok Bhawan 93 Nehru Place. There they told me that there is a problem with the system software and told me it would take 5 days time. I gave them my phone number as they told me they would ring me up when my phone is okay. However I waited for seven days for the phone call. Nobody call me. So I decided to the Servicing Centre there myself. And I was socked to know that my phone was far from being repaired. The only excuse they gave me was that the parts required for my phone was not yet available. Then I lodged a Complain and got a COMPLAIN ID SES[protected]. Then I was again promised a 10 days time. However more than 14 days have passed and still I got no call from the Servicing Centre. Are they really paying heeds to my problem? Are they just waiting for my patience to run out and get back my phone witout repairement?

                                        When I have purchased the laptop, the problem was it get automatically dumped after 15-20 mins.
                                        I have spoken to the dealer, then he told me to get it in the shop. He has kept it in his shop for 3 weeks. The fake response from the dealer was, THERE WAS NO PROBLEM IN THE LAPTOP. After getting it back from the dealer with same condition and response i.e. IF ANY PROBLEM, SONY COMPANY WILL GIVE THE HOME SERVICE AT NEW BOMBAY, KAMOTHE, HE SAID YES. But it was also a FAKE ANSWER given by your dealer, which is came to know after communication with your customer care executive, your executive said, you have to take your laptop to your nearest service centre which is at vashi (new Bombay), he had given me the address.

                                        After the communication with your customer care execute, I went to the service centre, ondated 01/09/2012. At the service centre (at vashi new bombay), It has been told that there is some minor issue with the RAM, frequency of both the rams is not matching, we will have to format the system and get the chipset updated. It will get resolved within 1-2 days. After calling 3-4 times within next 3-4 days, service centre replied “Your problem got resolved, get your laplop from our service centre”.

                                        When I went to your service centre to collect the laptop, “New problem has been shown to your technical team member i.e. desk top screen was continuously flickering”. Your executive got surprised & he told that chipsets were not yet updated, will update it in 5-10 minutes. He gave me lap after 10 min. and told your problem got resolved.

                                        I told him, if any problem then I will get it replaced with new laptop. The same day i.e. on 08/09/2012 when I went to home, after 15-20 min. of working, laptop had same problem.

                                        I have spoken to customer care on 09/09/2012 (Today), he has tried to get it resolved on the phone, but after the communication, it has been told that, take your lap top to the
                                        servicecentre again, tell them to get it replaced as per the SONY’s policy and write an email to sonyindia.[protected]@ap.sony.com for replacement of your laptop (You can check the service request ID:[protected] from your tele system).

                                        When I went to service centre, I have got new JOB NO. J20955782, which is not consisting of my previous JOB NO. After the communication with receptionist, she told me the old JOB NO.J20863817.

                                        AFTER THE ABOVE WHOLE STORY, CAN I CONCLUDE THE FOLLOWING……….
                                        HAVE I DONE THE MISTAKE BY PURCHASING THE LAPTOP FROM SONY?
                                        HOW IRRESPONSIBLE YOUR DEALERS ARE?
                                        HOW BADLY YOUR SERVICE CENTRES HANDLING YOUR CUSTOMERS?

                                        It’s my request to you TO REPLACE MY LAPTOP WITH NEW ONE or COULD YOU PLEASE RETURN MY MONEY BACK TO ME WITH THE INTEREST. I have already wasted lot of time and also the opportunity to improve software my skill sets. So please do not waste my more time. Your immediate response is expected.
