    I purchased my sony ericcson W8 E16i on 09/01/2012. Warranty period of cell phone is not expired. I purchased it from HOT SPOT, OPP. LIG SHOWROOM, CENTRAL TOWN, SUTEHRI ROAD HOSHIARPUR, PUNJAB.
    Few days earlier my data cable by which i charge my phone was not working properly. I gave my data cable to KULDEEP SERVICE CENTRE, DHOBI GALI, HOSHIARPUR, PUNJAB. He checked it and give it back to me and refuse to exchange. not even HOT SPOT is ready to exchange.
    They all are saying company do not exchange the data cable in warranty period.

    I will wait for your positive reply.

      Hi Team,

      I had bought sony PSP year and a half ago and now it has stopped working due to some defect not visible from outside.

      There is no physical damage to the product and product was kept with utmost care. When we went to service center for getting it repaired they are saying it is not reparable in India which was never ever shared with us at the time of selling the product.

      They told us that it can only be replaced with other PSP that too by paying more than 50% of the product cost. Even on agrying to pay that much they have told me that the product is no more being manufactured in India and I can only get a new product which has far less features than the one i own and also for that I will have to pay for more than 50 % of cost.

      Product is not at all broken only issue seems to be that it is not showing one icon which seems to be a software issue. This is really a cheating why company like SONY hide such facts from consumers.?

          i am usual having a problem with my Bravia..... within every 4 to 5 months there is a problem in my Sony bravia....... i am fed up of paying the bills of my problem..... please see in this case... very soon....

            i have given my xperia play to the sony service center at rohini on 17 july 2012 because there is a problem in phone's display. They promised to return within 7 days.............. bt they are not abe to repair it till now.... its more than 20 days.. after that we did complaint in head office also..... my ticket id no.... is 93398174...

              It has been a very disappointing experience since we have purchased this TV set (Model - KLV-32S550A) from Sony. It was advertised and promised to be a class apart experience, but sadly it has never came even close to it. It has been almost two years I purchased this TV set, since then I have got this TV repaired for almost three times (couple of time for motherboard, one for screen itself). This time it has been for some other purpose.

              I have been waiting for about a weeks now, I haven''t heard anything from support office (service centre) or authorized partner. My problem doesn't stop here - warranty period is said to be expired and every repair and replacement is getting to be very costly now.

              Conclusively, It has been a very bad experience. It would be helpful if you can look into this problem.

              Hi,

              Please note the serial number mentioned in the service job sheet[protected]STno.[protected]. As I mentioned the request was made on 28 July to which no response was given till yesterday. After consistent effort from our side we manage to get hold of person who picked up TV from us (Ram charan), he managed to share personal number of assigned authorised service person (Dinesh). The pain continues to keep explaining the situation to the new person every single time.

              And now we are stunned to learn that he believe Invertor Board is faulty and no repairs can be done. So, the only solution left in this case is to replace it. Since warranty period for TV is expired now, he claims a bill of INR 11K in order to repair the TV. The whole experience has been very dissapoining and painful.

              I seek a great deal of help from India Sony team. Please look into this matter. Thanks.

              Thanks for your reply. I understands your warranty conditions but sadly it wasn't of any use to me then as well.

              I guess TV would be of no use to me in this case, it would be a piece of scrap. As I mentioned earlier that I am not eager to spend another 11K on the set and wait to get TV queued up again for another set of problems.

              Could you give me an estimate what scrap value I can fetch to get rid of this TV of my chest. I would again reiterate that It's one of the worst buy I have made and would discourage my folks to get another Sony, not to mention the level of inconvenience I have faced.

                i have just bought sony cybershot wx50 on aug 2nd at sony showroom in porur chennai ....just after 1 hour the display became blurred .. immediately we reported to showroom to replace the camera ...but they refused to do so and blamed me saying i have done something...

                      Sony Ericsson — mobile phone problem

                      i have purchased W100 i model , after one week messages cant be send , saying out of memory , so given to sony ericsion service centre , they told software problem (for everything the same answer ) , so updated , after two days again the same problem the same thing repeated 4 times in 3 months. now they telling the sony ericsion itself accepted that there is a problem wih this modelso they are modifying ( dont know when it happen) ,so i request u dont buy sony products they are cheating pesons.

                        SERVICE CHARGE HIKED BY 43.92% WITH IN 14 DAY'S OF CONFIRMATION OF SERVICING FROM THE CUSTOMER

                        SUBJECT MATTER: I had given my handycam "DCR DVD808E E35" for servicing in sony's authorised service centre under job No.J20585225
                        at NEOSA ELECTRONICS PVT.LTD,158,S.P. MUKHERJEE ROAD,KOLKATA-26 ON 11/07/12 for it's reported problem in lens associated with DVD, I was informed on 14/07/12 over telephone that it's servicing charge would be Rs.4159 and i should be made an upfront payment of Rs.2000 to continue the process of servicing. When i contacted them physically on 28/07/12 they told me that your servicing charge has increased to Rs,5986 and you will have to pay Rs.3000 in advance instead of Rs.2000 which was promised by them earlier.
                        My simple question specifically to "SONY INDIA PVT LTD" and it's authorized servicing agent M/S "NEOSA ELECTRONICS PVT LTD" is that , how the servicing charge can increase by a whooping 43.92% (Rs.5986=Rs.4159) with in 14 day's. So far my knowledge as concern it's clearly a case of cheating and needed stringent action from the platform such as yours.

                            Hi ,
                            I bought a Sony LCD TV 2 years ago(KLV 32V550A). I had called up customer care reporting on a Defective HDMI port on Nov 2011. They sent a technician home from one of there Authorized Service Center(Vigneshwar Services,Koramangala,Bangalore) who came to the conclusion that Motherboard had to be replaced. I had told him to order the same an call me back regarding the status. But i never heard from him since.
                            Later i called in customer care and asked the status the tech had told me that the tech will come home and get the motherboard replaced immediately. The same technician came and wanted to open the TV again and he seems to have forgotten about the first service call completely until i showed him the first job card. He then told me it will take some time to order the part. I gave a go ahead to order defective parts again. Unfortunately that also did not happen. For around six month no one called and i was not able to follow up.
                            A month ago i had called Sony customer care again and complained about the same,i had spoken to a tech as well as a manager who confirmed that they will get my motherboard replaced asap.This time another technician from the same authorized service center(Vigneshwar Services,Koramangala,Bangalore called me that he wanted a receipt of the purchase though the warranty had expired and that did not make any sense as the warranty had expired and i knew had to pay for the service and i was ready to bear the cost. When i told him that i don't have the receipt he has denied service to me.
                            Sony being one of MNC i regret to say their service is really bad and this not the way they are expected to treat the consumer. That is why i am lodging this complain hoping that my concerns will be addressed .

                            SONY INDIA/KLV-32V550A LCD — POOR Customer CARE- SONY

                            I have a logged in call for service 2 days back,2-jan and they said it will be done same day or atmost next day. But when no one turned up I called up the call center.
                            They SAY WE DONT OPERATE ON SUNDAYS IN PUNE.
                            AND THE GUY HUNG UP. HE IS SOMEWHERE FROM DELHI call center.

                            IS THIS THE WAY SONY TREATS ITS CUSTOMER....I would suggest give it a good thought before buying any SONY product. Such service is not expected from sony.

                            Really disappointing services

                            my xperia z1 was damaged by water by exposing it to normal rain and took it for repair through careonsite.first they didn't agree to repair my handset but I insisted to repair it because it is covered under accidental protection as provided by Sony and they agreed took my phone for repair and asked me to wait for 20-25 days .Now its been 40 days and still I ha vent got my phone back .They keep on extending due date for repair.
                            They are mentally harassing me by extending due date as they keep on changing the issues for delay.

                            I am not getting service as expected because I was a Sony fan.is this what Sony does to their costumers?? If they are facing difficulty in repair, why don't they replace it??
                            I would like to hear from Sony and anyone can tell me, how to file a case against Sony in this issue??
                            My Job # J41586776 & J[protected]for Sony Bravia LED 46 INCH TV) regarding Display Panel issue and my product is under warranty. Both the Job # assigned to Vigneshwar Services, Koramangala, Bangalore. They never give customer copy document after service. I raised this to them they said if product is under warranty they won't give customer copy document. I checked with Sony toll-free no.[protected], they said service agency need to give a customer copy document which carries part # and serial # for replacement and it is our right to ask the customer copy. I believe genuine parts from SONY is going somewhere, god only knows. They are very smarter than SONY and CUSTOMERS.

                            I have raised a complaint with request ID: 22113545 on 2 Nov 2014 regarding my Sony Bravia 42W7B purchased in August 2014. 1 Guy naming Shiva visited and checked the issue and said the chip need to be replaced and will come in 2 days to fix it. Today is 18 Nov. 2014, till date nobody come up or bother to update on my request. I tried calling Vigneshwar Services lot many times but always that number is busy and if it gets connected few times the person listen to my problem and askes to call back in 10 minutes to update me on the issue, but all in vein!! Nobody calls me back till today. I spoke to Vijay and Raghav in Vigneshwar Services...
                            This is the worst service provider from Sony. Have never expected this kind of service from such big brand like Sony!! This is just a name but worst service. I will never recommend to any to go for Sony.

                            I bought Sony 32" LED TV on last Monday from EZone, Koramangala. They said Sony Authorized service center people will come and give the free wall mount kit . I am calling them from past one week..they are not responding.

                            I Have never expected this type of service from such big brand like Sony!! but worst service.

                            I do not want to give any ratings for VIGNESHWARA SONY SERVICE CENTER, KORAMANGALA because of their such poor service. I have gone 2 times for service of my 2 Sony phones, both the times i was treated badly and arrogantly. Sony being a superior brand in terms of product, accessories and everything has their customer service DEPRIVED. The girls behind the counter are RUDE and ARROGANT and give one line response to customer doubts. When we ask about the phone delivery, they give random dates and timings by when the phone is not ready. They don't even give STAND-BY PHONE for a 2 months old phone with warranty and expects the customer to wait for 35 days. They even expect the customers to call back and enquire about the phone delivery. Whenever i go o the service center always some customers are shouting about their negligence and inexperience. I want SONY INDIA to look into the matter and give us some response.

                            Yes - VIGNESHWARA SONY SERVICE CENTER, KORAMANGALA is very bad Sony service center in Banglore. Technicians will not speak in English and tell us to speak in local languages. Rude behavior. Bad management.
                            I gave my Sony Xperia Z1 for repair on 18th July, 2015 as my phone's screen broke and touch panel stopped reponding. They said they'll let me know of the status in a few days. It took them 10 days just to confirm that the screen is broken!!! After that, its been another 20 days and I am yet to recieve my phone back even though I have repeatedly insisting them if you can't provide a quick service, please return back my phone but they have given one lame excuse after another. I am REALLY disappointed with Vigneshwar Service Center, Kormanagala and would never recommend anyone to go there.

                              I had some problem with my TV. I took the help of JUST DIAL service to find one TV repair service center. The technician of this SONYAMC ELECTRONICS told me that there is a faulty IC and needs to be changed and he said as he is from SONY company, he has the original IC with me which will last long. He also gave me a receipt with 6 months guarantee for the changed parts, but within a week the same problem started again and since then I am requesting them to come and get it fixed but they are not sending their technicians giving some or other excuses. The girls who answers the call are very rude. They keep on disconnecting the calls. Its almost 3 weeks now, they are not repairing the TV.

                              So never ever appoint such cheater service provider to get the work done.

                              my cash bill no.11002 of 30.09.2012 ONIDA TV repaired by Md.Ali Khan, asst. mr ramesh. Tv worked only half day. Immediately I informed to your office and mechanics.But nobody cannot attend. This is very irregular, irresponsibility and very very worst servicing.I have paid Rs.1800/-. my address is Plot no.4, 5-6-589/5, skd nagar colony, vanasthalipuram.opp.Dilsukhnagar public school, beside Narasimha swamy temple, hyd-500070.
                              I had speaker problem with my onida TV. I took the help of online serch service to find TV repair service center in Hyderabad. m/s sulekha.com sugested The name of service provider SONYAMC ELECTRONICS sainikpuri hyderabad.the technician of this SONYAMC ELECTRONICS told me that speakers needs to be changed and he said as they are authorised service provider from SONY company.He took
                              one of the original speaker with him as a speciman and next day he brought matching speakers and repaired by changing few ICs which will last long. He also gave me a receipt no 10797 dtd 20.10.2012 with 6 months guarantee for the changed parts i.e.Rs 1350 for the speakers and 150 service chargestotal Rs 1500.00, but within 2 days the same problem started again and since then I am requesting them to come and get it fixed but they are not sending their technicians giving some or other excuses. The girls who answers the call are very rude. They keep on disconnecting the calls. Its almost 10 days now, they are not repairing the TV.

                              So my humble request to sulekha.com never ever sugest/appoint such cheater service provider to get the work done.

So we request the all user of this forum never buy Sony Laptops

                                  I had been sold the defective product (technical defects - mic, speaker and camera button were not functioning properly) on 13th July 2012 which was replaced after several deliberations on 28th July 2012 which had to be picked by me from your store due to non shipment on time.

                                  The replaced product is also defective ( loose backcover).I went to store on 29th July 2012 as well as had a talk with customer support but nobody is ready to replace my product.This behavior shows that CROMA is hardly bothered about their name and reputation and once they have sold a product be it defective they are least ready to take responsibility of the same.

                                  This is the case of duping the customer from their online site by selling defective products.

                                      Hi,
                                      I purchased Sony Xperia Sola on June 24, 2012 in Univercell, brookefields, Coimbatore. IMEI Number: [protected].
                                      After 2 days of purchase, the phone touch screen stopped working.
                                      When I went to the sony ericsson certified service center in T Nagar and asked for the solution, they did not respond well and when I asked for replacement or DOA, they said it would take 10 days and also said DOA is not at all possible.
                                      Finally, I gave my phone for replacement to Sony Service center(Mobile care, Tambaram) on July 19, 2012.
                                      Then I got my phone replaced on July 26,2012. New IMEI Number is [protected].

                                      Today(29.07.2012), my phone stopped working again. The problem is very severe as I was not able to even switch on the phone. It doesn't even respond after multiple tries.
                                      Now I am frustrated, so please take back my phone and hand over at-least the mobile charge. I don't even require convenience charge, please payback my mobile cost. That is enough for me.

                                        with invoice value of Rs 79900.00 with one year warranty
                                        t.v.suddenly failed and only indicator light is blinking.I connected to company's service center.
                                        They informed that there is mother board spare failure.I have requested to REPLACE THE T.V.
