Sony liv app updates unavailable

I am not getting the latest updates of sony liv app in my 2 sony android tv. Due to which latest movies and shows am not able to watch. [protected] is my user i'd in sony liv. I ha a subscription till march 2021. I want the updated sony liv app in my both sony android tv....

    I subscribed to sony liv in error and now am unable to unsubscribe. The customer care is totally useless. Not of any help.
    Their website doesn't work. Keeps telling oooops no data available.
    These people keep charging 299 monthly for the subscription. I have sent 20 emails to their customer care but no use. Please help me unsubscribe. I don't watch it.. I don't like it.
    These guys are frauds and making money by trapping customers. Because no one knows that they can not unsubscribe.
    Please stop these people from looting. They are fraudsters.

      Last 15 days ago i complaint to customer care for my led tv model no 40w700c. One of your executive engineer coming for repair a led tv. He said your motherboard is damaged due to overvoltage. Your executive said motherboard cost approx 7000 can i order motherboard. I said yes please order motherboard. I pay to you. But last two days ago your company executives calls me. He said motherboard is not present in our company. Because your model is too old. But i purchase this model in 2017 & according to your sony site launch year of this model is 2015. So how is it possible part is not available. I invest 55000rs for this model. That's means your company cheat customers. After sales service is too poor. I am going to consumer court for cheating a customer.in your company in 5 year old model part is not available that's means your product is like a use & throw product. I never recommend sony product to anyone. I complaint in consumer court against you.

        Hello there,

        I am trying to cancel the subscription from last month june 2020 and as well from may 2020.

        I am subscribed with number [protected]

        When i click on my purchases and go to subscription and click on cancel, there is no message coming that the subscription is cancelled. However, i am getting a message 2nd of every month, that the subscription will be auto renewed on 4th. This is brutal. When i cancel the subscription in the new version of the app, it says "oops cannot find the source" i cannot reach the customer care as well. You are charging me 300 every month without my confirmation and not allowing me to cancel the subscription as well.

        Resolution:
        I need the subscription to be cancelled immediately and i never wanted to be charged.

        If this is not cancelled and i get auto renewed on 4th July 2020, then I will raise a Fraud complaint in the consumer court accordingly.

                About 10 days back my bravia kdl42w700b went kaput. It’s screen became dark grey. I tried calling the helpline numbers over the next two days without success. There was no mail id's for service nor any escalation process provided on the website. However, i did manage to find a mail id for logging a complaint (Other than the web-based) and sent a mail on 18/6 for which the ‘auto’ response came on 22nd merely acknowledging that a mail was sent but had a reference number[protected].
                Finally, yesterday (25/6) a service technician did come. The technician, naseem khan i guess. All the snazzy words used on sony website about the care taken due to covid is hogwash. This person comes without any uniform, just an ordinary mask, no gloves, no shoe covers as touted by sony india.
                Now this guy is from a third party immortal innovations at krishna nagar, delhi. So the quality or rather the pathetic quality is not surprising. This is not the end of it. He opens the tv, uses a multimeter and within seconds he has the diagnosis! The tv screen is not working and needs to be replaced at approx rupees 22000/-!!! The tv is barely 5 years old!! One spends a heavy amount for a so-called premium brand but is this the quality.
                My earlier non-sony tvs lasted for double the period and i retired them rather they going phut on me! And this is supposed to be the latest (Bad) technology.
                The story still does not end here. On probing our friend the technician says everything else is fine as well as sound. So i requested him to at least play the sound for me. From the top left button of the remote one can select virtually blindfolded, the location (Hdmi, etc). He kept twiddling and said he can’t do so as he can’t see the screen! One can easily navigate to the correct location even if the screen is blank. Should not have been difficult for a person with 11 years experience, as claimed by him. This was surprising since he had said that the sound is controlled by the motherboard and not by the panel / screen.
                So if the motherboard is fine, the sound should have been there. My reasoning and i could be wrong. The technician was only interested that the panel be replaced @22000. My take is that the issue could be minor with just an ic or a loose wire or a chip that may have conked off, may be the cause of the problem. These sub-standard third party players get hefty commissions on parts so their sole interest is to hoodwink you. And for a useless call, we also had to pay for their visit @ rs. 236/-

                So much for sony, a japanese product and not a chinese one!

                The purpose for writing to you is twofold:

                That my problem is sorted out quickly, professionally and at reasonable cost.
                That you get the voice-of-the-customer directly and see what is happening within your company which is detrimental to the image we had for sony for decades.
                I made a note on the cash receipt that i am not satisfied. Please see it for yourself.

                Today, i. E. 28th june a technician called mr. Dinesh gupta (98xxxx1713) came to our residence. The first thing he told me was that there would be a charge of rs.240/- for the visit. For his information, i showed him the receipt for rs. 236/- (Receipt no. 2969, book no.30 dated 25/6/2020) from immortal innovation services pvt. Ltd., sony authorised service centre. I had clearly written "totally dissatisfied" and "paid under protest".
                He spoke to someone, took an image and sent it to someone (Presumably his senior at the service centre). On receiving a response from the other side, dinesh gupta informed me that you will have to call immortal innovation as he has come from sony service centre or pay again. I clarified to him that i had written to sony support and not called or written to immortal innovation. How was i to know who sony will send and from where! I am a customer who ideally wants to go to the company and not a third party or freelancer for repairs. He just did not listen, not even open the tv to see what the problem was except for what i told him (As told to me by immortal innovation).
                This technician was not even briefed about my case. It's such a sorry state of affairs with sony india that there is no communication even within the organisation!
                My complaint is still open and it's been weeks now. Such poor, pathetic and unprofessional conduct is unexpected from a multinational like sony selling products at premium pricing.

                Absolute pindrop silence from Sony! We know they are not bothered about the customer . They feel that they are bigger than a customer and together friends we should teach them lesson. LET'S NOT BUY ANY SONY PRODUCT WHATSOEVER! Let's pledge to do that.

                  June 18 when sonyliv app was launched with new logo and with all new web series the yearly subscription charges were 499 and today the app is charging everything for 999 a year how could they change the settings without intimating the customer. They take all customers for granted. It’s ridiculously making us fools. I demand a refund from the company nothing else as it’s break of trust and it’s to inform them that every company has fallen i prosy that your company not only falls but closes down you are cheaters and looters i[censored] need money you kindly beg for donation. By giving ads to advertise advertisers won’t come to your company of cheaters and looters.

                      My sony bravia model kdl-42w900b keeps on restarting every 10 to 30 seconds. I am not sure what the issue is. I had done a factory reset as well, but, still the problem persists.

                          Bought this sony tv 3 years back.in this 3 years, the main board got spoilt 2 times. On asking the song service staff about it they said the main board is gone and had no much idea about it. A main board costs - 10, 500 which is like every year additional expense. Very bad sony tv.

                            As i have heard a case of covid-19 of tech mahindra b-19 sector-62 noida.
                            One person[rajesh bhagat, position - associate manager training of flipkart] has expired due to infected corona and 8-10 people are affected to covid.
                            They don't want to disclosed this news.

                            So i request to you. As soon as possible please take action to save life of else people in favor of both company and employee.

                            Note:- for this covid-19 pandmic some employee are not taking serious.

                                I took sony tv w62g before 6 month ago. Its picture quality and all the apps are very good, but for some month, its voice has decreased some what even after doing 100 the voice is normal. So please give feedback as soon as possible.

                                    I have bought sony smart tv model no kdlw700b, 5 years ago. Now i observed that sony company all applications are removed from the tv, which is cheating in the market.

                                    In this regard, i repeatedly reminding to sony since 03rd june 2020 but not responding to our mail and still, it is pending at their level, which shows cheater. All communication enclosed for your reference.
                                    Sir, please take action against sony company as possible, and short out my problem so that no customer make a foolish.

                                      I had purchased a sony 40" lcd tv from adishwars electronics jayanagar branch. It only existed for 10 years. Suddenly the tv screen started blinking and we gave it to authorised service centre which is in jayanagar bangalore, karnataka. They say that part is not available. This leads me to think weather it's original or duplicate as sony itself doesn't have the part available. I would like you to take action against them. The service center name is abivrudhi tech.
