Sir/Madam,
Want to submit my grievance to you with respect to my experience with sony and till now my problem not resolve. My problem started as I handover my Sony BRAVIA KLV-32EX330 IN5, serial no. 3290950 purchased in February 2013 to Sony authorized service center, Prayagraj-U.P. on dated 17 June 2020 .
In my TV 6 time blinking problem coming and screen going black so I handover my TV to service center with instruction that please repair it as soon as possible because my old age father(71 Year old ) use to see news on it .
As I visit service center twice but they never call me wrt to my TV status then finally log complaint at sony website on 02 July 2020 with Request ID 60645269.
Then on 03 July received response on my mail from Sony Customer Support Team- Regional Office, New Delhi with comments (Sonyindia.[protected]@sony.com)
“We are having difficulty in arranging necessary spare. As an alternate service solution, we have offered you exchange your TV with our latest model KLV-32W622G at a special price of Rs. 19, 192/-”
As Sony is a Brand and they don’t have spare is very surprise for me and they want that they don’t have spare so please purchase new TV from them and in market TV prize that they offer is approx. 23K (model KLV-32W622G).
So I wrote them on Sonyindia.[protected]@sony.com twice on 3rd July and 8th July with respect to prize offer by them, the way Sony deal with respect to MY TV problem they falter my believe in Sony and their value towards customer. And prize offer by them not justified because they are not able to manage spare so I need to purchase new TV from them this is like punishment to me why I purchase SONY TV. Finally they response me 14 July with comments “We regret that we are unable to comply with your request to service your product or provide further discount in the exchange offer.”
So finally I wrote mail to them on Sonyindia.[protected]@sony.com dated on 17 July and ask them please share me procedure how I can transfer 19, 192/- in their account.no any response received from sony care.
Then I called local Sony Authorized service center with respect to my TV replacement because till 17 July MY TV still with Sony service center only . So as per account information share by them I transfer 19, 192/- on dated 25July 2020. With details as below
IMPS No[protected] in A/C No [protected] IFSC Code SCBL0036020.
Till today 01/09/2020 no any KLV-32w622G TV installed at my home and no any communication received from Sony Team.
It almost more then 03 month completed my faulty TV lies with Sony service center I also submitted required amount (19192/- for KLV-32w622G TV as per demand by Sony Representative) . Also log Escalate on dated 28 August 2020 with respect to my problem with request ID 61361567 but no any response received from Sony Representative.
It almost 3.5 month completed and 19, 192/- also submitted in Sony account it badly destroy my believe in sony .
Request to resolve my problem either install TV with in week or refund submitted amount (19, 192 + interest of three month) along with my faulty TV.

    I have purchased a led 32 inch wg61 model on 28th august 2020 from st. George electronica pvt. Ltd. Sg complex vadakke stand thrissur. Full payment was made using swiping debit card.

    Till this point of time installation is not being effective. Its been 4 days now. Kindly look into the matter or i may have to seek consumer court in this regard for the compensation for the delay caused.

      I will be logging a case against Sony India and a police complaint against one of your Authorised Service Center "Chaitanya Electronic, Chinchwad Pune.
      This Sony Service Center has taken away my Bravia TV's original motherboard and my TV panel is still lying unrepaired at the centre.
      TV was submitted for simple backlight issue(as investigated previously by same Service Center) and now I am asked to take a new TV instead of repair as the motherboard needs replacement & is not companies original!
      That also proves, your employee Bhaskar Awate had taken away my original Motherboard when he took away my TV panel for 1 week in June and returned it without repair (saying that he did not receive the LED backlight from Sony company).
      That time he offered me to fit in duplicate part as original may not be available early, which I completely disagreed. And asked him to return my panel & refund my money, also told him to let me know when original parts are available. He still took couple of days more saying I had already fitted the duplicate part (as he thought I may agree for that) and will have to remove it back.

      This really is pathetic behaviour and service from a brand like Sony!

      I wonder if any responsible person from Sony India even refers to these complaints!
      No response or even acknowledge! Pathetic service from brand like Sony!!

          Dear sir

          This is to inform you that I am thoroughly being harassed by the Sony tv service. My Sony LCD tv was not working and I had submitted a request in neosa service centre. They had picked up my television on 07.08.2020. The Tv has no picture and they said it would be repaired in 10-12 days and along with I had paid an advance of Rs 3000. After repeated calls they promised to deliver since 19th but still it wasn’t delivered. Today on 29th after 2 calls they specified that I need to pay the balance amount that is Rs 3000 and then only the deliver will be possible. After paying the full amount they still did not deliver and is not picking up my calls.
          This consumer harassment will not be allowed. I want action to be taken against my mental torture. I cannot keep calling for my own television.

            I have Purchased KD-SSA8F OLED from Anil Radio House Nehru Nagar in 09.07.2019 . In my TV Internet is not connecting with any media of Wifi & Mobile since couple of months . due to Corona pandemic we were in our home town, now after reaching over there, we notice the complaint of internet . we log a complaint 61449895 .. person from N.R.I Electronics visited for this complaint on 26.08.2020 . after checking he confirmed that your TV is require software updating . I will come tomorrow & close your complaint . he was asking 250 Rs Visit charges without resolving complaint . now he did not come back & neither picking call .
            when we purchase this T.V no one told us that after 1 year TV will require software update & we have to pay without resolving complaint & there is not service level agreement .
            advice you to help to get attend this complaint & extend our warranty of TV as lock down was there .
            we are facing pathetic service response from Sony India .

                  Complaint regarding delay in TV repair

                  I had made a complaint with regards to my Sony Bravia HD LCD Tv KlV 32R422B IN5 on 13/8/2020 as it suddenly stopped working, I kept wanting for service engineer to visit for checking out problem but no one came for 5 days on my constant complaining on the phone of the sector 34 Chandigarh service centre, the service centre person came on 7th day and after checking the TV said that some IC of mother board has short circuited and he will check...

                  I have a Sony Bravia TV 55' Model No KDL 55W950B.
                  Serial No 3250614 Purchased in Pune from ezone in 2014 for more then Rs 1L.
                  For last 2 months the TV display comes on and off at will.
                  When the display is there the picture quality and sound is good but then the display just switches off automatically.
                  I contacted the Sony help line in June, they opened the TV and said the Mother Board is finished and I should replace the TV.
                  My question is that if the Mother board is finished, how is the TV running perfectly at times?
                  Also I feel that the problem is of some lose connection that is deliberately not being repaired to push me into surrendering a very expensive TV for Pittance.
                  I have an LG TV that was bought in 2009 that is working perfectly fine till date.
                  I bought a Sony TV because of the brand name which is known for its quality and long life of its gadgets.
                  But the sad experience with this TV and inability of your technicians to identify and rectify the problem honestly is very disappointing.
                  Now I am stuck with a very expensive TV and bad after sale service.

                    I bought sony 32 inch full hd tv for Rs 36, 000 going by its brand 5 years back.
                    Now I am facing display problem and the technician is saying panel need to be replaced which will cost 12000.
                    Why TVs from such a good company is not working after 4 or 5 years.

                      When the tv is turned on it shows only few colorful lines over it. I think there is some display issues. The clicks of the remote can be heard but nothing comes on the display. Additional issue when we change the channel the background of the previous channels remains there only.

                          Dear sir/ma'am,

                          I went to repair my home theatre soundbar speaker at kunj society, vadodara. After checking we found one speaker having crackling sound when loud. They told me we will call after checking. Then i got call in afternoon that your 3 speakers have to replace. They give me 5064 rs estimate. I told her that out of 3 speakers my 2 speakers were alright. What is the reason for that? She told me that I will call back to you when technical will come. Then i go to take back the speakers. At that time i found 2 speakers not working. And they are arguing that 3rd speaker also stop working. I have questions about sony company and technicians. Quality of sony speakers are poor or technicians doesn't having knowledge to repair it. Why i should bear charges for improper skills of your technicians. I will pay for only one speaker. Kindly do the needful.

                            We have purchased Sony X75H 55 inches brand new TV from bajaj electronics paradise circle on 15th August 2020. We have been promised by the shop that the TV will be installed by 17th August 2020. But when i called Sony on 17th evening they informed me that the dealer( Bajaj electronics) has not yet raised a request for the demo and installation. Immediately I had to raise the request and till date (21st August 2020) no one has contacted me for the demo and installation.
                            First how can the dealer be so irresponsible of not raising a request immediately after purchase. It seems they are only responsible for the sale of TV but not for the installation procedure since it is free.
                            Second how can a company like Sony not value its customers and treat them in such a way by delaying the installation for more than 5 days after raising a request. I never thought such would be the scenario of Sony. Now how can I be sure that Sony will immediately respond when there is any repair

                            Finally arrived on 22nd August 2020 and completed the installation procedure. Had a bad experience with the customer service but brand wise Sony TV is a good one. Customer resolution process needs to be strengthened and regular follow up must be done

                              We bought a  sony led (Klv-40r252g) in the month of feb 2020, on 17th august like normally we switched on out tv and found that internally there are some partially black image on the left side of led, without wasting any single minute i immediate contact customer care number as the product is just 6 months old and is under warranty and register my complaint[protected] team said ok sir we registered your complaint and react to it as soon as possible while on call he asked me several times is there any damage from outside of the screen... I said no.. It's only some internal panel damage.. He suggest me to registered the complaint via mail as well along with the led image.. When i switched on the led to click the picture i found that damage will increase up to next corner of the led... Its been a day but i didn't receive any response from sony team, then again on tuesday i called up and describe my issue again... After many request he gave the landline number of service center (Nri electronics). I called them immediately... Some lady called ritu pick up my phone and said sir we didn't receive any sort of complaint from sony team yet, then i explained her my issue and asked her to arrange engineer as soon as possible.. She said ok sir i will arrange.. It took her around 6 hours to arrange some engineer... Well after 6 hours a guy (Himanshu) arrived at our home to see the issue and after noticing it was internal issue he was diplomatically try to blame us that it was hit by something... I tell him 100 times that nothing is hit even not a single scratch is seen outside of the screen but instead of helping us he keep blaming us... He also gave me his owner number (Mr. Ashok tiwari) i talk to him, and ask to repair it but he was also not helpful and instead of repair the product  he asked me to spend 11k for the damage - but i refuse to pay coz i was not responsible for the damage... Then i send message via messenger on sony official facebook page along with the damage picture... On same evening i received a call from ( mr. Shah rukh ansari ) he again ask me about the issue, after listening my issue he commit that he talk to the upper management and resolve my issue at the earliest. But again no one neither called me nor mail me about the progress of my issue... Then on wednesday i again called up customer care team... But they are behaving just like a robot keep on repeating the same lines that we didn't have any update please wait... Then i called up mr. Ansari, he said that sir wait for a few more hours, i am waiting for the management approvals... But at last he also refused to help us and repeated the same lines used by mr. Ashok tiwari... Now i would like to request sony team to look after my issue as we are not responsible for the damage but still your service centre wants us to pay 11000/-

                                  On 30 Sep2016 i have purchased KDL-55W800D IN5 and DAV-DZ350/CE12.Which cost me around 1, 29, 0000.00
                                  AT 13 March2019, My KDL-55W800D IN5 stopped working.We raise a complain, As per the conclusion panel was damage.
                                  somehow, ON 25 April 2019 another panel was Replaced and delivered, job No J90699506, which cost me 36503 rs
                                  Now again on 2nd April 2020, suddenly KDL-55W800D IN5 stopped working.I need to know what is permanent solution on this, because i am spending more than Lakhs on Sony product and it even can not work atleast 5 yrs or beyond.Earlier you people said its due to voltage fluctuation panel got damage, at the same day i ordered TV Stabilizer. Still after using stabiizer look like again there is panel issue
                                  I am highly dissapointed, And why should i spend every year for panel.Again and again i am getting panel issues, whether i have received a defective piece?
                                  From 25th april my tv was giving interminent issue for display and due to lockdown and covid situation i was unable to call customer care at my place. on 9th august i launched the complain again as tv display got blank totally. engineer visited at my home and told the issue of panel. I got a call from service centre and they told me that the manufacturing of the product has been stopped and there is no parts avaiable in reverse they gave me offer to purchase new tv the mode was x75h and they told me to pay 38000rs which is really the large amount and not excepted. I told them i will think to upgrade my tv for 65 inch for model x80h and they told me to pay 1.11 lack where i enquired at croma and other shops i am getting the tv for same price. I request you to please give me good offer for x80h model for either 55 or 65inch model as i already spended lot of money earlier.
                                  Awaiting for your further revert at earliest.

                                    We have registered a complain regarding our TV not functioning ie Audio is comming and no Video,
                                    vide reference Job Reservation No[protected].
                                    Based on that we have paid for the replacement of the panel and the company has repalced the panel and rectified, but the problem started again and still the very same problem
                                    ie the red starting button is blinking 5times and stops and again starts blinking in phased manner. when we approached the local Sony authorised service Centre at Adyar they asked us to complain through toll free number.
                                    Please do the needful as the panel we have replace is under warranty.
