Dear sir, sony bravia Pvt Ltd
It gives me immense pain to bring to your notice that despite lodging a complaint during lockdown and even past one week, a reputed company like yours takes so much time to revert and address the issues of their valued customers.
An oled tv purchased in the year 2018 has already started showing horizontal lines on the screen and is an eyesore to see that such a branded tv has given way in less than 2 years, and nothing is being done to address this issue at your end .
At the time of purchase of such a valued television, it was a feast to the eyes, but now it's become an eyesore to see the TV, so also the brand of the tv.

I am anxiously waiting to hear from you as each passing day goes by. If I don't hear anything in the next 48 hours, or the grievance is not redressed, I will be constrained to take up the matter with the consumer forum at your entire risks so as to costs and consequences.

    Sir my tv screen becomes black i. E. Audio remains but the display disappears. I restart it again display is there for 2-3 minutes and than again disappears.

          Complaint date: 21st july 2020

          Bought 65inches sony tv from reputed company in puducherry assuming it will be good product. Within 13/14 months, problem of board occured in such costly tv. No one is coming forward to solve my problem rather they were only demanding money for replacing. Now i doubt the quality of sony tv given to us

          My complaint id : 60900028. After visiting my house, representative of sony simply saying to replace the board. Which was not expected from reputed sony company. No one cares for it. Pl note in this lock down period, exactly after 14 th month, this is happening. Now how can i believe the quality of entire product supplied by me is of premier quality or just for giving us offer, company show room given my defective product to me. For few days myself and family is in agony. We used to buy sony products, till date i was not facing any problem, but those products are small - in the range fo rs 27000/-
          But now, such costly affair was happened. Simply sony service centre of puducherry and show room people keeping quiet - except demanding further money from me for replacement. They were not worried about the quality of sony product supplied to me.

          Pl resolve at earliest before i take it to consumer court. I am really upset on sony service centre people. Need solution to the problem. If required, pl replace complete tv after ascertaining that tv suppled to be is defective only. If not, pl give assurance.

                I bought an led 55 inch android tv 3 years back. 2 months back the display showed nothing than a white screen. So we asked for the company service centre to repair it and they took the tv with them and returned us only after 2 months. They have corrected the complaint charging 12 thousand for the service. Then later on the next day of installation only 1 among the 4 hdmi is working. The rest 3 aren’t working. Now the one who came to install the tv says it would take around 10 thousand rupees to replace it. This hdmi port was well working before we gave the tv to the company for previous complaint. Should we again give the tv to the service centre and wait for still 3 more months spending 10k rupees for this port huh? Very poor response and concern from the sony service centre.

                          I have purchase an annual subscription for sony liv for rs 999.00 on 09.07.2020. After payment my subscription has not been activated till date, i have made many complains via email, t only way to contact them, u cannot talk to them by calling them over phone. After every mail they are asking for payment details and screen shot of my account option in their app for resolution, but till date they r not able to resolve and asking the same details everyday. Please find enclosed details required by them and request them to refund my subscription paid.

                          Sony liv is fake app 2 times the money has been deducted but the subscription has not been activated
                          Very troublesome app. I've paid for yearly subscription but still can't operate with fire stick
                          I have taken an yearly subscription at 199 Rs just to watch TV serials. It has been 3 days service never got activated. This is highly ridiculous behaviour. Please activate the service or refund money back. Highly disappointed

                            I have paid for an annual subscription for sony liv on 9.7.2020 for rs 999.00 but till date my subscription has not been activated, i have made numerous complaints but every day they ask me for all the details which i have provided then every time, we cannot contact then except mail, now i do not have any more patience, request to kindly take action for refund of my subscription.

                                I purchased the Sony oled from Siddhansh Electronics Pvt Ltd, Lower Parel West, Mumbai 13, in the month of February of 2018.
                                The TV was installed at my residence in the month of March 2018. Within a period of 1 year or thereabout, horizontal lines started appearing on the TV which increased gradually . I made a complaint, but on account of the covid situation, nobody could attend to it.
                                In the month of May, I again made a complaint to which the representative came for inspection and made me talk to the representative from Sony who informed me that there was a problem with the panel which needs to be replaced. I informed them that this problem had commenced within the warranty period and account of COVID, nobody could attend to it on your end.
                                But my grievance seems to have fallen on deaf ears.
                                As you already know that this is a very costly TV, at the time I purchased it in 2018, and one cannot expect that the panel can give way within the warranty period. On account of the covid situation, nobody from your end could redress my grievance and by the time somebody could pay a visit, according to your representative, my warranty period had lapsed.
                                It disgusts me to note that a brand like Sony indulges in such cheap practices taking undue advantage of the covid situation which isn't fair at all. It is not even expected that a branded tv costing roughly 4 Lakhs, the panel gives way within a period of 2 years from purchase.
                                I earnestly request you to look into this at the earliest and redress my grievance in all sincerity and fairness, failing which, I will not hesitate to approach the consumer forum and also address my grievance in the social media so that the other valued customers are not cheated and treated unfairly.
                                Hope you take cognizance of the above and at the earliest possible.
