I purchased Sony Ericsson w30i in june 2009 and its flap broke up in august. i contacted nearest service center in Indore for the same but they couldnt arrange for it as they say that its not available with the company.
i contacted Sony Ericsson Executives at[protected] /[protected]/ and over Emails and they directed me to submit my handset promising me that my issue will get resolved in 4 days.
i submitted my handset on 7th of december 2009 , on 11th when i contacted nearest service center they said they had no idea about it and it will take another 5 days.
I called at[protected] again and Nifisur ( who claims to be the senior) asked me to be patient till 18th dec . On 18th when i contacted them, they said it will take another 5 days.
I am fad up Sony Ericsson Please somebody give me number of higher official in Sony Ericsson.

I purchased Sony Ericsson w350i in June 2009 and its flap broke up in DEC.2009 and replaced by nearest service center in Varanasi for the same but they couldn't arrange for it after again broken the flap as they say that its not available with the company.
contact with[protected] and he say that set handed over to our service center and inform to us with work order no.
I am lots of problem without flap. Please suggest to us for remedial action for trouble suiting.

    I had purchased a digital camera of sony make on[protected] from authorized sales outlet of Sony i.e. Parikh Sales , City Center, Dhanbad. First of all they do not given me bill when asked only challan issued. Now camera is not functioning. when contacted i have been informed that battery is not functioning and battery does not cover any warranty. If a battery fully damaged withing 3 months company sould liable or not

          i mahendra singh, i m a student, i hv submitted my battery in chandigarh sonyericsson service center sec.18D
          i submitted my mobile battery BST-33, on 29 august 2009. my work order no. is SE309RTC12907,
          i have gone to many times to service center and even many times call their,they always said plz come one week later. 4 month going to complete till. i hv not got my battery. i call their but don't pick up the phn. PLZ HELP ME

            My self Subhash b dangi I have purchase sony ericsson F-305 on[protected].
            On[protected] mobile was hanged and giving white display ,I have submitted the phone to sony ericsson gallery at ghatkopar(Mumbai)(shop no 113,1st floor platinum mall).workorder number-se309cs210710.
            Compare to another sony ericsson phone camera clearity,working of phone was very very slow.
            After 36 days the phone was repaired and I have collected on[protected] after 4-5 days another problem occurred slider problem and phone get slow while using and then again I have submitted the phone to the same gallery on[protected] workorder number-se309cs211267.
            After calling to gallery on[protected] they are saying that parts are not available till[protected].
            On 17th of dec they will give the phone.
            My question is to sony erisson is that i[censored] are having capacity of making the phone why u are not making the part of that particular phone sorry to say that bocz I was just fan of sonys phone camera ,working fast but this phone is just like a daba phone.i am very sorry to say that it is ture.
            Pls sir, if it is possible to replace the phone thankfull to u
            Bocz in 8 months 2 months have gone to repair of that phone and how much it will take I don”t know.
            Plz sir solve my problem as earlier as possible or replace the cell phone.

              Hello,

              I brought SONY VAIO laptop VGN-CS25GN/B from ezone, bangalore in May '2009. Initially every thing was smooth... after 5 months issues started: first with the LCD. A thin blue/ green/ pink [I don't exactly remember the color] horizontal line started appearing at the bottom of the screen..

              took it to service station, they replaced the LCD and gave it back after 10 days...

              after 2-3 weeks.. then suddenly the laptop dies[not switching on]...

              again had to take it to service...got the MTX[Motherboard] replaced... in another 5-10 days....

              and then could find an announcement for warranty extension for some other defect[fan noise..] from sony for the same product....

              Issue is not with the support provided, its with the value for money/ quality... how can LCD & Motherboard fail in less that 6 months.... we can understand if the fan makes sound :)

              they were not willing to replace the product. i think its coz, even they may not be confident on their product... that same issues may come in new laptops also..

              This crap had cost 55K INR...

              I would suggest you all not to go by the brand name... from my exp. this product its just a crap... HP, Lenovo or any other laptop... say Toshiba would be a better option for this amount of money...

              I'm using the sony erricson mobile for past 3 years [w850] without any issues... and I'm not against sony products in any way...

              but I have to say VGN-CS25GN/B is nothing but crap.. the worst product/ support i have ever received..

              I have all the service documents, which can be reproduced anywhere for confirmation whatsoever.

              I don't get any responses from online support too... which is making me write this... and i will post the same across all available sites so that people are aware of these low quality products from this big brand.

              BEWARE... all.. YOU too can always expect very bad experience with "SONY VAIO"...

LCD replacement is definatley the handling issue but mother board malfunctioning looks like electrical issue.               Sony does not hide the product problems with their customers. A certain serial number had problem in the fan and we published the same officially, changed the fans and offerred 2 yrs warranty on the same to be caution to keep it in investigation.

                I am buying sony mobile w395 on diwali but the mobile is very slow to access when i am opening the mobile the display comes after 10 seconds.
                i purchased sony ericsson w395 for 7000rs.. seeing its features in the official website of sony... the very next day i landed up in problems of hanging and slowdown... i thought it would be rectified.. but it didn't happen... its totally very slow in operation and hangs almost 5 to 6 times a day... either the company should improve the set or it should be banned... pls don buy since its looking good...
                I bought a sony Ericsson w 395.

                The phone is very very slow and hanging down. Only the look is good.

                  I bought mobile handset on Date 29-Dec-2008. But my set has some problem. So, i went Sony Ericsson Service Centre for repair. My set is in warrenty period. When I give handset to service centre executive. She told this set already repair on Date-6-Nov-2008. She was telling this set is not in warrenty period.

                  If set has been repaired in 6-Nov-2008 and i bought this set on Date 29-Dec-2009. That means repaired set sell by the retailer to me. It has done fraud to me by the retailer.

                  Please look in to this matter and consider my complain against the retailer.

                  Sony W580i — very poor service support

                  I bought a w580i in august 2007 and after 15 days the set started malfunctioning and the service centres are perhaps the worst. It took 1 month to get the set o.K. thereafter all the key pad cracked. Now the keypad has stopped working and the set is lying with the service centre for last 8 days and still no definite reply as to when the set will be returned.
                  I suggest every body not to buy sony ericsson products.

                  I am Garima using W580i model. I have given my handset for 4 times for get it repaired but again I'm facing same problems like keypad problem, automatically switched off, and some new one's like side light effect both side lights are showing different colors. SONY ERICSSON SERVICE IS TOO BAD TO TOLERATE. People out there don't have manners to talk. I request them to change my mobile, as I don't want to use this handset again. but they don't have any reply for my query.
                  company is telling defective product after that costumer are contacting them they are not responsing in positive way .. THE SONY ERICSSON IS WORST COMPANY EVER . I bought it for Rs. 13,000 but the authority do not care about the costumer. people should complain at consumer court . and should ask for replacement of the handse

                  W580i — my screen has gone blank,3 months after purchase

                  I recently bought w580i about 3 months back .all other functions are working well but to access them is extremely difficult as I cant see any thing on the screen, frankly I didnt expect this from a sony product, moreover the sliding upper portions hinge is also a bit out of the normal as it tends to apppear loose .now i'am in a fix please advice.

                  my self chandrakant had purchased 3handsets of sony ericsson, all the three handsets are not working properly-
                  1) W850i : I used this handset and it had created problem then i had given to service centre but they created the problem which was not there in the handset. ok. At that time i was not knowing about this complaint board so i had to sold this handset then i had purchased W580i & W910i.
                  2) W580i : I had purchased this handset in november 2007, but started giving me problem decmber onwards, then i had given my handset to service centre. After that day i got my handset back in 1st week of February. Between this period all the parts of the handset has been changed. But in 1st week of march it started givin problems. then Again I had given it to the service centre on 13th march and i got back my handset in april. In this period its motherboard has been changed.
                  My question is that i had not used my handset not more than 2-3 months and every part of the handset is changed.
                  so there is my request for the replacement of the handset.
                  how can they say that by installing new hardware and they say that my handset will work for more few months.
                  3) W910i : This handst is also having the same problem.

                  So what hansets are they manufacturing.
                  I Think they had done some claim to one song name Krazzy 4.
                  but looking to that first they should look to the customers problems.

                  Sony W580i — fraud service from service centre

                  Hi,
                  I am using SONY W580i whose software was crashed during a call. It was dead after a try of restart. I took it to an authorized SONY service center situated at Vashi (Kaizer Telecom, BSEL Tech park, Opp.Vashi Station ) .

                  The service person told me to submit the phone for checking, So that he can inform me about the fault and expense for it's repair. On next day he called me and told that IC of phone is defective and have to be changed. The charge required for the stated change of the IC was Rs.1200/-.
                  I was not sure about the service and withdrawn phone. The center charged me Rs. 150/- as service charge just for checking the phone without any type of service/repair.

                  Recently my friend suggested me to take chance of repair of the same phone with a local mobile repairing shop. I went to the shop and asked for the repair. Within few second after inspecting the phone the service person from the local mobile shop replied me that "The phone software is corrupt and no problem in IC or any other hardware of the phone. The expense is only Rs.350/- for the complete repair and have to pay if phone starts and works properly".

                  Within next few minutes he repaired the phone by restoring software.

                  I am using the same Phone happily without any IC problem and repaired in Rs. 350/- instead of Rs. 1200/-

                  ONLY THE FACT IS IT IS NOT REPAIRED AT SONY AUTHORIZED SERVICE CENTER BUT LOCAL MOBILE SHOP.

                  THUS, SONY IS INCAPABLE TO GUIDE AND PROVIDE REQUIRED SERVICES TO THE CUSTOMERS.

                    since yesterday my cell is promting this message "Ciphering not provided by operator. insecure transmission", and due to which contact names have changed to some encoded names and i'm not able to view my contact list also, hence i'm not able to contact any one in my contact list. i get this message when ever i receive or dial a call. pls help. its causing a major problem.

                      I submitted my mobile SONY C510 with charging problem at authorised service centre bhopal,they said that there is problem in Connector..but next day they said that there is problem in its mother board.
                      what i should do??
                      I had purchased this Sony mobile K550i in July '08 and from day 1 it has been not functioning properly. I showed it to the service center at Thane but the problem is not solved. The service center timings are also weird from 9am - 6pm, we are office goers and get time only after 6pm or on Sundays. Service center is closed on Sundays.

                      Sony, please awake or else your mobile market shall crash badly. I need a replacement or else I know ways to get to my target.
                      i Karan raj have lodged a complain of my mobile handset model no ( sony lotus st 27i ) on 22 may 2013 in service centre address- d-78 nirala nagar. near it crrossing utter pradesh lucknow.
                      Handset problem- gallery not opening, display light blinking, hanging problem also.
                      Service centre told me that your handset will be replaced within a week. After 15 working days they told me that you will get new handset sony xperia l. Now they are telling that they have not receive my handset from company, and telling me to contact customer care. When i contact customer care they told me to contact service centre. Service centre says that they are doing regular e mail to chennai but not responding .On 14 june morning i received my phone from service center mobel sony xperia go. Till evening it started creating problem, then on the same day i went to service center, after an hour they said that they have solve my problem. On 15 it again started creating problem.Now they are saying that it will take one week to solve the problem. Plz take an immediate action on my problem.

                        I had a sony erricsson problem.One fine day the phone got discharged and was not charging.Believe me the phone was never taken out in rains and moveover I had this problem in the month of March -2009 and after I faced the Problem ,I took the phone to the customer care because ut was just 3 months to the Phone .They said It was liquid damage .I cannot understand how can the phone be liquid damage when there wre no Rains around and I never took the Phone to the Bathroom .I can very well guarantee that it wasnt a liquid damage but a manufacturing defect .I took it to another Service Center in Pune and they are telling some circuir damage has occuurred..which means both are lying because both are giving different reaon .Please somene take notice of this .Many others will F305 has had the same problem and everyone are told liquid damage .I have being using mobile phones since many years and never faced this problem with any of the phones then how come this phone get liquid damage and not only mine ..thousands other are facing problem with this Phone ..It is surely a manufacturing defect and I want the company to replace my phone with another one .

                            I wanted my yamaha amplifier checked as there was no sound, i got the address of the one service centre which is located in navi mumbai.
                            they sent one bloke by the name of mr vinod who came to my residence in my abscense and said the sound card of amplifier had to be replaced n that he wanted to take the amplifier to the service station, i asked him how much it will cost to replace the same he said maximum Rs 300-400/-, i had no choice but to give in.
                            Two weeks no reply from the company about my amplifier and no estimate, when i told them i want my amplifier back today, i was told the estimated cost of repairing the same is Rs 6500/- i told them not intrested new ones available for[protected] of diff companies, i was told i will get the amplifer same day.
                            after 2 days no news and no delivery, on third day i got call from one guy mr Ajay who said iam working for the company and if you want i will get the system repaired and it will cost you 2500 Rs.I had no choice and wanted my system back but to agree otherwise i dont know what else they would taken out from the amplifer.
                            earlier guy vinod who gave me the estimate of Rs 300-400 Rs was nowhere to be seen or heard, this is a total con game by the company, either the employees are screwing the company they are working for or they are screwing people like us, if a technician comes to your house knows whats the problem and appx what is the repair charges, on reaching his service centre the estimate cannot multiply by 2000% plus.
                            the reason i wrote this is to bring these people to task. The company should find out Rs 2500 i paid to technician ajay was it depoisted into company a/c i have no receipt for same??sony find out your technicians are crooks and pocketing money, giving you a bad name n taking you, n consumer for a ride, plus taking salary from you.if i dont get a reply from your company iam going to press, i sent sms to MR raj on his mb abt same on his number[protected], he has not replied, with what face will he reply they are all hand in glove.

                            This is Manish Shirsikar, I Live in Thane(W). I had a Issue with my Philips 21RF Vardaan SL, there was no Picture but the sound was working good.
                            I Contacted one of the Local Service Provider from where i got a No. of SAI SONY SERVICE CENTRE COMPANY ADD : PANCHSHIL CO-OP HSG, SHOP NO.6 PLOT NO 59 SECTOR 12, NEAR SUSHMA PATIL SCHOOL KAMOTHE, NAVI MUMBAI-400209
                            CONT NO: 32255055/ [protected]/[protected]
                            other than these two No.s i have three other No.'s Which are not working.
                            They Promised me that they will come to check my TV on 10th December 2009, but they came on 12th December 2009. Mr. Rajesh took my TV stating that we will get a call from a lady from there service centre, and will tell me about the estimate. No One contacted me, insteted I had to call them more than thrice to check the estimate.
                            When Mr. Rajesh came to my place told me the estimate of about Rs. 800/- to Rs. 1200/-, told me that there is a Part which has went bad and will have to replace.
                            I had to call them a thousands of time to ask them to bring my TV Back and atlast the day came, when i had to contact my advocate and we all started scolding and shouting at them, then they got my television.
                            My TV Came back on 17th December 2009. and just after 3 Hrs. my sound went off and since then I started calling them about the same.
                            I got only one reply from them " mai aaj sham tak aata ho" mai kal savere aata hoo. {Will come by evening, will come tommrow} but that evening or the morning never came, unless and untill i had to take major steps, Contacting my advocate and consumer forum as well as Philips.
                            Then they came and took the Motherboard of the TV and again the same thing. Again i started calling them to bring my TV (Motherboard) back and they brought back my TV, when connected it was the same Issue. The Tech. started Troubleshooting at my place and at last he got my Picture and sound back, but a new issue. Now my screen blinks after every 5-7 Seconds.
                            I called up Mr. Raj, Mr. Nagesh, now they started commiting me that they will come to my place inbetween 9.30am to 10am. I just asked them what if they dont come, Mr. Raj replied, that will give us a new TV, i asked him are u sure. and he said yes, I just asked him to send me an SMS stating the same so that i can keep it with me as a proof, but he refused (at that time i was just wondering if i had a recorder in my Cell phone), i wud have Sue them.
                            anyways lets see if these guys come tommrow and also commited that they will repair my TV before 5PM.
                            Lets see.

                              I had purchased SONY CRT TV 21” on 14.04.2008. After one month on 14 May 2008 the set turned off after three hours and the automatic switching off is regular.                                 We had bought Sony Bravia Model KLV-26V300A Chasis No: 6202642 from a dealer SONY MONY (Vile Parle branch).

                                We paid INR 34000/- for it and it is the first TV we have bought after our marriage."ITs a Sony " and the brand was fixed in one's mind to be trusted.

                                The same is sparingly used as neither o[censored]s are TV buffs.

                                On 26th November 2009, the screen showed 4 vertical bands dividing the complete screen into 5 parts.

                                On submitting our request for service, we received a service engineer (supposedly ) who came to inspect the television.

                                He asked us whether anything like a ball had hit the tv?

                                One updated him that only 2 adults stay in the premises and there are no kids who will fiddle with the tv and there has nothing of that sort taken place.

                                He insisted that something would have hit it.

                                One lost one's cool as the guy was trained to put the customer down by his behavior itself. He did not carry any diagnostic kit or tools to check anything in the television. Astounding quality of Sony - Technical Surveyor.

                                He confirmed that in "all probabilities" "mujhko lag raha hai ki lcd panel kharab hua hai" and that you will get a call from the service centre on further action. We paid him his visit charges of INR 140.
                                Then we receive call from the customer service stating that the total expenses will be Rs.20, 000/-!!!
                                But, since the tv is not even 2 year old, we have negotiated with our superiors for the cost to be 12000/- only.
                                How kind of them to negotiate for us.These guys are here to fleece the Indian consumer with their charm and shrewd business policies.
                                One is clear that Sony has gone to dogs as a brand.
                                Only way they can make money is to sell sub standard goods which will survive the warranty and then make money - tons of it on service and spares. This is new mantra of SONY.They just assemble the goods with few components of proprietary nature and let the customer suffer. Customer is the King only till he buys. After that he is the most unwanted piece of if he expects quality from them.
                                Its a blow to one's belief in the brand.
                                It still wont matter to them as there are brand guzzlers like one was.
                                So, now one has to get a tv in and will want to smash this tv on the road and vent out one's frustration. Thats the best one can get for 34000/ spend of hard earned money.
                                So folks, beware o[censored]nscrupulous elements like SONY.
                                Wanna have a big show of protest while one smashes the TV in public...
                                Look after your money and your interest as all these big brands are namesake...

                                  I have also lodged a complaint at Borivli Police Station on the same day at around 12.00 in the night. The complaint is registered.

                                    I have purchased W350i hand set on 23.05.2009 from G.V. Puntambekar & sons Pune, Invoice no is 91385. With in six months o[censored]se in warranty itself the phone flap was broken while in use. Please note that the flap given for this phone is not additional future, its an basic component of phone which is used for receiving call.

                                    Went to service center at Aundh Pune 'My Mobile shopee' Omkar complex near D.A.V. School Pune 45, raised the issue reading flap and some other issues related to connectivity. I was charged Rs. 550.00 for flap. I finally paid the cash and took the delivery.

                                    But again after 15 days the flap was broken, even it is used carefully, this is ridiculous, how phone flap can break while handling twice in first six months, phone is still in warranty. One can clearly identify the manufacturing defect. Flap is suppose to be used 10-15 times a day and if it won't withstand 15 days the there is something serious.

                                    Reported this to same sony service center, they are washing hands saying that this not covered under warranty. The concern person was Ms.Preeti Bhosale, she was not able understand the situation, just telling that you have to buy this again.

                                    My request to sony ericsson is are we designing / making products which ends in paying money to service centers and vendors. What is use of warranty then??? accept if the phone is damaged then you should not pay, but am i doing any mistake by taking call by using flap. Major design fault in his model. Please check, giving herewith snap shots of the defect.

                                    As of now i believe sony is famous for Quality product, this incidence has made me think again, worst part is if there is defect you are not giving replacement also not fare.

                                    mobile NOT SWITCHING ON, is under warranty.I have reported it at an authorized service center in Tirunelvelli(TN). The details are apprehended below :-

                                    as i donot have any altrenate mobile. i require and expect the mobile to be repaire and returned at the earliest.
                                    Deaf concern this same issue i am facing..with my set, well my flap is broken today..another issue is regarding the service quality here (bhubaneswar ) thrice i have went to your service centre regarding a complaint that the speaker is not getting activated when i receive a call with hand set but it is audiable only when i switch to speaker phone mode...thrice i went to service centre but...the samissue comes up after every 3-4 days..

                                    the authorised service centre (name:Babli media) in kolkata is cheatin people like anything.I have given them a handset of sony ericsson for what they given me the estimate of rs.2000/-(rs.1450/-for the fascia,don't know whether is is a original one or not,and rs.550/-for keyboard),fascia of my phone was alright,I thought it includes the key pad also,so asked for not to change the fascia the charged me rs.250/-as order cancelletion charge,and now they r telling they will charge additional rs.250/-as keyboard changing charge.No one to hear about the problem from company side.Don't know what to do.they will not return my set unless I pay as they charge.Felling helpless.

                                      I have purchased Sony ericsson C903 mobile on 11th october 2009 at Margao-Goa (RS16,300), from the day of purchse it was having software issues/hard ware issues, for hte same i have submitted mobile to sony ericsson service center Work order no:SE309PC110784.. regarding the i have complined to custmer care and escalation department of sony ericsson they have have only ticket no (i.e:[protected]but problem not resolved. from last two months .. whenever I will give a call to custmer care they are saying we will give feed back within a day.

                                      so please suggest me regarding How i can take strong action against Sonyericsson in dealy of serviceing and cheating the custmers

                                        i am ravi. i m living in patna. . i have bought a sony ericssion xperia x1 mobile mobile phone on 10th nov 2009 and it get cracked just next day of purchase without any reason. at that time i am cheking my emails so i just searched a word xperia x1 crack in google.com. i get socked to vew the screen as there are 1250000 web pages showing xperia x1 crack both on web search and on image search. because xperia phons are still craking all over country due to their defective design and use of cheep quality of material a/c some xi users.all have the same type of crak at the same places. my phone is also cracked at the exactly same place as shown in diferent websites.


                                        but i have to go my medical college which is situated in ranchi so i contect my seller on 27th nov 2009 for that issue. they said we seller cant do anything so u have to go the service center which is about 12 km far from my house. so i contect the support.sonyericssion.com by sendig a email about my x1 cracking issue. after three day i have got a reply mail as

                                        so i reached the nearest service center and i asked a question with a employe " have u know that xperia phones are cracking all over world. they told me "no" we havent recive such type of comlains. then i told him abut website and also asked what is the solution for me . they said your phones crakes not comes under warranty u have to purchase a new battry compartment then we shall repaired it. now this time we have not battry compartment for you so u have to wait for next month and till please take away your hanset and . we cant do anythng more. after my requset "please acept my hanset because if i use this set wether i can get more cracked" they refuse to acept. suddnly a new crack is also noticed at that time which is not present at my home. i shaw the workes .then they acept my handset without a proper recipt. they only give me copy of reciving withot indicating job sheet no or any other information. only there is a land line phone no and telling me wait for 14 day we are informing this issue to our seniors
